Oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma(OPSCC)is a malignant tumor originating from the squamous epithelium of the oro-pharyngeal mucosa, accounting for more than 90%of oropharyngeal malignancies. In recent years, human papillomavirus(HPV)infec-tion has become one of the primary etiological factors of oropharyngeal squamous carcinoma. The incidence of HPV-associated oropharyn-geal squamous carcinoma has been rising annually, with a noticeable trend toward younger populations, posing a significant threat to hu-man health.Due to the distinct biological behavior and clinical characteristics of HPV-associated oropharyngeal squamous carcinoma com-pared to its non-HPV-related counterpart, the diagnostic and treatment strategies for oropharyngeal squamous carcinoma have undergone substantial changes.Prevention and screening for oropharyngeal squamous carcinoma are of critical importance. The diagnostic and treat-ment process involves multi-disciplinary collaboration, including oral and maxillofacial surgery, otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, oncology, radiology and pathology.Based on evidence from clinical practice,a comprehensive, integrated diagnostic and therapeutic ap-proach has been established, centered around the concept of"prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation",covering the entire patient lifecycle and providing a valuable reference for clinical practice.

Objective:To explore the application effect of Kaitianmen point massage on pain, faligue, anxiety and depression in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Methods:This study was a randomized controlled study, a total of 80 patients with rheumatoid arthritis who were admitted to Shanghai Guanghua Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from May to November 2023 were selected as the research objects. The control group was given routine treatment and nursing, and the experimental group was given Kaitianmen acupoint massage on the basis of routine treatment and nursing. The differences in pain score, fatigue score, anxiety and depression score before and after intervention were compared between the two groups. Results:In the final, there were 37 cases in the experimental group and 36 cases in the control group completed the study. Before intervention, there was no statistically significant difference in pain scores, fatigue scores, anxiety and depression scores between the two groups (all P>0.05). After four weeks of intervention, the pain score of the experimental group was (2.06 ± 0.35), and that of the control group was (3.72 ± 0.59), the difference was statistically significant ( t=14.57, P<0.05). After four weeks of intervention, the fatigue score of the experimental group was (20.11 ± 8.03), and that of the control group was (25.02 ± 8.32), the difference was statistically significant ( t=2.55, P<0.05). After four weeks of intervention, the anxiety score of the experimental group was (48.33 ± 6.13), which was significantly different from (53.99 ± 4.91) of the control group ( t=4.35, P<0.05), and the depression score of the experimental group was (49.99 ± 6.33), compared with the (54.86 ± 4.83) of control group, the difference was statistically significant ( t=3.69, P<0.05). Conclusions:Kaitianmen acupoint massage can relieve limb pain, fatigue, anxiety and depression in patients with rheumatoid arthritis, which is worthy of clinical promotion.

In recent decades, the incidence of human papillomavirus(HPV)-associated oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma(OPSCC)has shown a marked increase.Significant changes have also occurred in the OPSCC diagnosis and treatment paradigm.Deter-mining HPV status prior to treatment is now essential, and radiotherapy/chemotherapy,immunotherapy,and minimally invasive surgical techniques have progressively emerged as key modalities for managing OPSCC.However, alongside these paradigm shifts,a comprehen-sive technical consensus guiding the entire diagnostic and therapeutic process for OPSCC patients is currently lacking.Given China's large population base and the rising incidence of OPSCC,an expert panel convened to develop a clinical technical consensus on OPSCC diagno-sis and management tailored to China's specific context. This consensus aims to further enhance and standardize understanding of OPSCC management techniques among relevant healthcare professionals.

International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2024;32(6):407-413
Objective:To investigate the predictive value of systemic inflammatory response index (SIRI), systemic immune-inflammation index (SII), and CT perfusion imaging (CTP) parameters for early neurological deterioration (END) in patients with mild stroke duo to anterior circulation large vessel occlusion. Methods:Patients with minor stroke duo to anterior circulation large vessel occlusion admitted to the First People's Hospital of Suqian from November 2021 to December 2023 were included. Minor stroke was defined as a baseline National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score ≤ 5, and END was defined as an increase of ≥ 4 in NIHSS score within 24 hours of admission compared to the baseline. SIRI and SII were calculated based on the findings of blood routine examination. According to CTP at admission, the cerebral blood volume (CBV) index, infarct core volume, and early infarct growth rate (EIGR) were obtained. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to determine the independent risk factors for END. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to evaluate the predictive value of each predictor on END. Results:A total of 132 patients were included, with 85 males (64.4%) and a median age of 68 years (interquartile range, 58-77 years). Thirty-nine patients (29.5%) experienced END. The baseline NIHSS score, fasting blood glucose, neutrophil count, lymphocyte count, SIRI, SII, infarct core volume, and EIGR in the END group were significantly higher than those in the non-END group, while the CBV index was significantly lower than that in the non-END group (all P<0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that SIRI (odds ratio [ OR] 3.672, 95% confidence interval[ CI] 1.838-6.326; P<0.001), SII ( OR 4.824, 95% CI 2.057-7.135; P<0.001), CBV index ( OR 0.968, 95% CI 0.947-0.986; P<0.001), and EIGR ( OR 2.527, 95% CI 1.918-3.589; P<0.001) were the independent predictive factors of END. ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curves of SIRI, SII, CBV index, and EIGR for predicting END were 0.780 (95% CI 0.692-0.863), 0.798 (95% CI 0.709-0.888), 0.775 (95% CI 0.697-0.853), and 0.772 (95% CI 0.732-0.829), respectively. Conclusion:SIRI, SII, CBV index, and EIGR are the independent predictive factors of END in patients with minor stroke duo to anterior circulation large vessel occlusion, and have certain predictive value for END.

Curettage is the main treatment method for oral maxillofacial cystic lesions, but simple curettage may easily damage surrounding structures such as adjacent teeth and nerves, leading to incomplete removal of the cyst and large jaw defects. The curettage assisted by endoscopy can provide a good surgical field for the surgeons, can clearly identify the important anatomical structure during the operation and can remove the cyst wall tissue as much as possible, thereby reducing the damage and reducing the recurrence rate of the lesion. This article combines the characteristics of maxillofacial surgery with clinical treatment experience, summarizes relevant literature from both domestic and international sources, and engages in discussions with experts in order to provide reference for the clinical treatment of jaw cystic lesions with endo-scope assisted curettage.
