Objective To investigate the correlation between serum homocysteine(Hcy),hemoglobin(HGB)and hematocrit(HCT)levels and the severity of condition and inflammatory factor levels in patients with chronic atrophic gastritis. Methods A total of 122 patients with chronic atrophic gastritis admitted to a hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the disease group, and the disease group was di-vided into mild group(n=63)and severe group(n=59)according to pathological grades, and 106 healthy volunteers who underwent physical examination in a hospital during the same period were selected as the con-trol group.Clinical data of patients were collected and binary Logistic regression analysis was performed to an-alyze the factors affecting the severity of patients'condition, and Pearson correlation analysis was used to ana-lyze the correlation between Hcy,HGB,HCT and the levels of inflammatory factors.Receiver operating char-acteristic(ROC)curve was drawn to analyze the diagnostic value of Hcy,HGB and HCT on the severity of patients'condition. Results Compared with the control group, the serum Hcy level in the diseased group was increased, the serum HGB and HCT levels were decreased, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the mild group, the serum Hcy level in the severe group was increased, the HGB and HCT levels were decreased, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with mild group, the levels of C-reactive protein(CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and interleukin(IL)-6 in se-vere group were increased, and the levels of IL-10 were decreased, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Bi-nary Logistic regression analysis showed that Hcy and CRP were the risk factors affecting the severity of pa-tients'condition(P<0.05),and HCT,HGB and IL-10 were the protective factors affecting the severity of pa-tients'condition(P<0.05).Hcy was positively correlated with CRP,TNF-α and IL-6,and negatively correla-ted with IL-10(P<0.05).HGB and HCT were negatively correlated with CRP,TNF-α and IL-6,and posi-tively correlated with IL-10(P<0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve of serum Hcy,HGB,HCT and the combined diagnosis of the severity of patients'condition were 0.834,0.814,0.822 and 0.923,respectively,and the combined diagnosis value of the three was significantly better than that of Hcy(Z=2.519,P=0.012),HGB(Z=2.660,P=0.008)and HCT(Z=2.596,P=0.009)alone.Conclusion The increase of serum Hcy and the decrease of serum HGB and HCT in patients with chronic atrophic gastritis are correlated with the severity of the patient's condition and the level of inflammatory factors. The combined de-tection of the three can be used for the diagnosis of the severity of chronic atrophic gastritis.

OBJECTIVE: To comprehend the status of knowledge-attitude-practice( KAP) and its effect on blood lead in workers exposed to lead.METHODS: Three hundred and fifty-one first-line lead exposed workers in the smelting industry were chosen as study subjects by cluster sampling method.Blood lead levels in peripheral venous blood were detected.Questionnaire survey was conducted by self-compiled Questionnaire of Knowledge-attitude-practice on Occupational Health in Lead Workers.RESULTS: Among the study subjects,145 workers had abnormal blood lead level( ≥600 μg/L),the abnormal rate was 41.3%.The correct scoring rate in occupational knowledge, attitude, and practice were 25.1%,45.3% and 15.7%,respectively.Multivariate logistic regression analysis results showed that the four risk factors of high blood lead level were wearing no personal protective equipment, not bathing and changing clothes before returning home, not gargling and washing hands before meals, smoking and eating in workplace.CONCLUSION: Poor occupational behaviors can increase the risk of high blood lead level in lead exposed workers.

OBJECTIVE: To explore the relationship between metabolic syndrome( MS) and occupational stress among workers in high altitude area. METHODS: A cross-sectional study was conducted in 940 workers as research subjects who were engaged in petroleum smelting, thermal power generation and financial management et al. in high altitude area. A questionnaire survey was conducted using the Occupational Stress Inventory-Revised for occupational stress, The occupational health examination was performed to measure waist circumference, blood pressure, blood sugar and blood lipids. RESULTS: The abnormal rates in obesity,triglycerides,high-density lipoprotein, blood pressure and fasting blood glucose were 28. 3%,16. 3%,14. 3%,13. 3% and 6. 5%, respectively. The detection rate of MS was 5. 0%( 47/940). The multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the risk of elevated MS decreased with the increased of occupational stress level( P < 0. 05),and the risk of elevated MS increased with the increased of occupational stress reaction severity( P < 0. 05),after adjusting the confounding factors of gender and labor nature. CONCLUSION: The higher occupational stress reaction of the workers in high altitude area, the higher the risk of MS.

Objective:
To investigate the relationship between occupational stress and working ability of workers in a petroleum processing enterprise in a high altitude area.
Methods:
A total of 728 workers in a petroleum processing enterprise at an altitude of 2850 m were subjected to a survey using Occupational Stress Inventory (OSI) , Work Ability Index (WAI) Scale, Occupational Role Questionnaire (ORQ) , Personal Strain Questionnaire (PSQ) , and Personal Resource Questionnaire (PRQ) from May 2014 to August 2016.
Results:
Of the 728 workers, 55 (7.6%) had a poor working ability, moderate in 262 (35.9%) , and good in 411 (56.5%). There were significant differences in WAI between the workers with different types of work, sexes, ages, and working years (

ObjectiveTo study the physiologic and pathlogic alteration of the artificial bile duct generated by pedicled jejunum flap(CBD)in repairing local defect common bile duct of dog. Methods Common bile duct defected model was generated by partially cutting off CBDofdog. The pedicled jejunum flap with mesentery blood supply was created to repair the local defect CBD.The pH of bile was mcasuratcd during and post operation, the pathologic study was undertaken after 6 months.ResultsThe experimental group live 6 months and the symptom and signs is abnormal after operation. The result of blood routine and biochemistry examination is no change(P>0.05).The pH of postoperative bile decrease(P<0.01).The pH of bile was changed remarkably 1 day after the pedicled jejunum flap replacement. But no significant changing in the following 6 months(P>0.05).The postoperative pathologic study show:the anastomosis of experimental group healing well, and fiber tissue proliferates at the site of anastomosis,The Epithelium of the jejunum flap was atrophy and there were large quantity of lymphocytes, plasma cells and neutrophil within the jejunum flap(10/10).The epithelium of bile duct nearby the jejunum flap appears slight proliferate and infused with lymphocytes and plasma cells(10/10).There were lymphoid follicles in 3/10 cases.ConclusionsThe jejunum flap repairing bile duct healing well, but there was inflamatic change around the jejunum flap and nearby bile duct after the replacement. These observation suggested it is feasible to use the jejunum flap repairing the defected bile duct. The local physiology is stable without any changes in pH of bile acid. The alterative materials like umbilical ligment, blood vessel would be favorable in repair of defected bile duct.

Objectives To study the significance of using kappa value in surgical clinical teaching. Methods The interns in Department of General Surgery were included, and were divided into routine teaching group and targeted teaching group randomly. Kappa statistic was used to compare the consistency of physical examination. Results The results showed that Morris's point tenderness was grasped more efficiently in targeted teaching than routine teaching group. Conclusion With the help of kappa value teachers can find the teaching items more correlated with training and give students targeted teaching so as to improve the teaching effect.
