OBJECTIVES: To evaluate and integrate evidence on the management of sleep disorders in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). METHODS: Literature was retrieved based on the 6S model, and evidence related to sleep disorder management in children with ADHD was extracted from the included references. RESULTS: A total of 17 studies were included, from which 16 pieces of evidence were extracted. Of these, 6 were classified as Level 1 evidence and 10 as Level 5. The evidence covered screening, assessment, non-pharmacological interventions, pharmacological interventions, follow-up, and multidisciplinary collaboration. CONCLUSIONS This study integrated evidence on the management of sleep disorders in children with ADHD using an evidence-based approach, providing an evidence-based foundation for managing sleep disorders in this population.

Over the past half-century,the climate change,along with population growth,worsens the intensity and frequency of sand storms in China,and the environmental and health problems have become increasingly prominent.Sand and dust particles not only possess their own toxicity but also carry numerous pathogenic microorganisms and heavy metals.This can lead to high concentrations of local dust pollution,causing significant harm to the air environment and the health of residents in downwind areas during long-distance transportation sand and dust.Based on a comprehensive literature review on the health effects of dust storms,this paper aims to summarize the impact of various pathogenic factors presenting in dust storms on human health and the underlying mechanisms to provide a scientific foundation for the development of more effective control measures.In the future,amidst the backdrop of climate change,it is crucial to prioritize the research and analysis of dust source regions and dust control strategies in northern China.Additionally,there is a need to enhance the technology for simulating sand and dust environments in experiments,and to adopt a multidisciplinary approach to investigate the medical and toxicological aspects of sand and dust weather.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the baseline levels of microorganisms' growth on the hands of anesthesiologists and in the anesthesia environment at a cancer hospital. METHODS: This study performed in nine operating rooms and among 25 anesthesiologists at a cancer hospital. Sampling of the hands of anesthesiologists and the anesthesia environment was performed at a ready-to-use operating room before patient contact began and after decontamination. RESULTS: Microorganisms' growth results showed that 20% (5/25) of anesthesiologists' hands carried microorganisms (> 10 CFU/cm ²) before patient contact began. Female anesthesiologists performed hand hygiene better than did their male counterparts, with fewer CFUs ( P = 0.0069) and fewer species ( P = 0.0202). Our study also found that 55.6% (5/9) of ready-to-use operating rooms carried microorganisms (> 5 CFU/cm ²). Microorganisms regrowth began quickly (1 hour) after disinfection, and increased gradually over time, reaching the threshold at 4 hours after disinfection. Staphylococcus aureus was isolated from the hands of 20% (5/25) of anesthesiologists and 33.3% (3/9) of operating rooms. CONCLUSION Our study indicates that male anesthesiologists need to pay more attention to the standard operating procedures and effect evaluation of hand hygiene, daily cleaning rate of the operating room may be insufficient, and we would suggest that there should be a repeat cleaning every four hours.

UDP-glucose: flavonoid 3-O-glucosyltransferase (UF3GT) uses flavones, dihydroflavonol or anthocyanin as the acceptor and uridine 5′-diphosphate-sugar as the donor to catalyze the production of flavonoid 3-O-glycoside compounds. Based on sequence homology and transcriptome data, we screened and cloned a UF3GT gene named CtUF3GT (GenBank No. OM948976) from safflower. Biological information analysis demonstrate that CtUF3GT has highly conserved PSPG motif. The open reading frame of CtUF3GT is 1 446 bp, encoding 481 amino acids, with a presumed molecular weight of 52.36 kD and a theoretical isoelectric point of 5.33. Multiple sequence alignment indicate that CtUF3GT has a high homology with UF3GT from Asteraceae, and phylogenetic analysis showed that CtUF3GT clusters with functional identified UF3GTs from other species. The purified recombinant protein glucosylated kaempferol and quercetin to biosynthesis of kaempferol 3-O-glucoside and quercetin 3-O-glucoside, respectively. And CtUF3GT prefered to use kaempferol as substrate. qRT-PCR analysis showed that the UF3GT gene was most highly expressed in flowers, followed by leaves, with very low expression in bracts and stems, and no expression in roots. The expression of UF3GT gene showed a trend of increasing and then decreasing at different stages of flower development. The expression of CtUF3GT gene in safflower with different flower color was highly significant (P < 0.01) at S1, S2, S5, S6 and S7 stages of flower development, in which the expression of CtUF3GT in white safflower was 5.3 and 3.1 times higher than that in red safflower at S6 and S7 stages. This study lays the foundation for further exploring the role of CtUF3GT in the mechanism of safflower flavonoid secondary metabolite biosynthesis and accumulation.

Cardiovascular diseases， with high incidence and high mortality， belong to the category of "chest impediment and heart pain" in traditional Chinese medicine （TCM）. Chinese medicines have unique effect on the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases with little side effects. Huoxin pills， one of the National Essential Drugs， is formulated based on the basic pathogenesis of weak pulse at Yang and wiry pulse at Yin and the pathological basis of myocardial ischemia and hypoxia and used for treating angina pectoris of coronary heart disease （Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome）. This medicine is derived from the classic famous prescription and is composed of ten precious Chinese medicinal herbs. It can replenish Qi， activate blood， and warm collaterals to diffuse impediment by enhancing myocardial contractility and cardiac output to improve micro-circulation and increase coronary blood flow， regulating immune functions， alleviating inflammation， detoxifying， and tranquilizing mind. Clinically， it is suitable for patients with angina pectoris caused by the lack of heart Yang， chest tightness， shortness of breath， palpitation， fear of cold for limbs and so on， especially for the elderly with Yang deficiency or the patients with a history of myocardial infarction. On the basis of the available research reports， this paper explains the formula meaning of Huoxin pills from the perspective of the basic pathogenesis of coronary heart disease and predicts its action targets， location and links. Furthermore， we expound the mechanism of action of Huoxin pills based on basic research and clinical evidence-based research， aiming to provide data support and evidence for the clinical application of this medicine.

OBJECTIVE: To explore the therapeutic efficacy of manual reduction combined with percutaneous vertebroplasty in treating osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures(OVCFs) with intravertebral clefts. METHODS: The clinical data of 94 patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures with intravertebral clefts treated from January 2014 to January 2017 were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were divided into group A and group B according to different operative methods. In group A, 45 patients were treated with unilateral approach PVP, including 17 males and 28 females, aged (75.35±11.82) years old, with a bone density T-value of (-4.28±0.65) g/cm³; in group B, 49 patients treated with manual reduction combined with unilateral approach PVP, including 19 males and 30 females, aged (76.79±9.64) years old, with a bone density T-value of (-4.33±0.72) g/cm³. The operation time, bone cement injection volume and postoperative complications of two groups were recorded. The VAS and ODI scores of two groups were analyzed respectively at 1, 12, 18 months after operation. Vertebral height and kyphosis Cobb angle of two groups were compared immediately after surgery and 12, 18 months after operation. The distribution of bone cement in the vertebral body was observed and its distribution excellent rate was calculated. RESULTS: There was no significant difference in operation time between two groups. The amount of bone cement injection was(8.42±1.24) ml in group A and(9.19±1.09) ml in group B, and the difference between two groups was statistically significant(<0.05). No spinal nerve root injury during operation and no complications including pulmonary embolism, bone cement toxicity and infection were found in two groups. There were 5 cases of bone cement leakage in group A and 4 cases in group B, which did not cause corresponding clinical symptoms and were not treated additionally. The distribution of bone cement in group A was excellent in 25 cases, good in 19 cases, poor in 1 case and in group B was excellent in 45 cases, good in 4 cases. The distribution excellent rate of bone cement was higher in group B than in group A (<0.05). The VAS and ODI scores before operation and 1, 12, 18 months after operation were 8.29±0.74, 2.59±0.14, 3.75±0.38, 3.84±0.88 and 40.04±3.16, 9.24±2.82, 12.27±2.64, 15.83±2.58 in group A, 8.22±0.82, 2.54±0.19, 2.81±0.23, 2.82±0.45 and 39.98±2.05, 9.16±2.10, 9.46±2.41, 9.76±2.46 in group B. There was no significant difference in VAS and ODI scores at 1 month after operation between two groups (>0.05), but group A was higher than group B at 12 and 18 months after operation (<0.05). The vertebral height and Cobb angle before surgery, immediately after surgery, and 12, 18 months after surgery in group A were(59.17±1.42)%, (85.95±2.19)%, (75.27±3.45)%, (68.34±2.24)% and(23.83±3.37)°, (15.26±2.61)°, (17.63±2.16)°, (19.46±2.54)°, and in group B were(59.31±1.87)%, (89.19±2.53)%, (88.62±2.51)%, (88.59±2.62)% and(24.72±3.78)°, (14.91±2.28)°, (15.48±2.55)°, (15.86±2.81)°. Vertebral height Immediately after surgery was greater in group B than in group A and Cobb angle in group B was smaller than in group A (<0.05). During follow-up, there was no significant change in vertebral height in group B, while vertebral body recollapse in group A(<0.05). CONCLUSIONS In the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures with intravertebral clefts, the manual reduction combined with PVP is more effective than single PVP, which can effectively prevent vertebral body recollapse and improve the long-term efficacy of patients.

OBJECTIVETo explore the effect and underlying mechanism of decompression(DE)combined with Governor Vessel(GV)electro-acupuncture(EA) on rats with acute severe upper cervical spinal cord compression injury.

METHODSThirty SPF rats were randomly divided into 5 groups(control group A, B and experiment group C, D, E), 6 rats in each group. The model of acute severe upper cervical spinal cord compression injury were made by forcing a balloon catheter put in atlas pillow clearance. The group A was blank one, the group B put balloon catheter in atlas pillow clearance without forcing, and the group C, D, E sustained compressed for 48 h. The group C received electric acupuncture intervention, selecting the Baihui and Dazhui point, having the continuous wave and frequency of 2 Hz, with the treatment time of 15 min and continuous treatment for 14 d; the group D received methylprednisolone intervention, injected by caudal vein; the group E did not received any intervention again. The arterial blood and injured spinal cord tissue of all the rats were obtained after 14 days' treatment, and BBB score was used to evaluate the change of each group hind limbs motor function, the contents of platelet activating factor(PAF) in injured spinal cord tissue and blood serum were assess by ELISA method; the Caspase-9 expression for each group after 14 days' treatment was assess by Western blot method.

RESULTSBBB scores were(21.000±0.000) points at the 6 time points, that was, 1 h, 48 h after forcing in control group, 24 h, 3 d, 7 d, 14 d after treating in experiment group; the score of experimental groups (group C, D, E) were always lower than control groups(group A, B); compared with group E, group C and D were significantly higher(<0.05); and there was no significant difference between group C and group D(>0.05). The results of PAF by ELISA method to measure:the concentration of serum PAF, there was no statistical difference among group A, B, D, E (>0.05), group C was lower than the other groups (<0.05); the concentration of tissue PAF, there was no significant difference between group A and group B(>0.05), group D was significantly higher than that of group A, B, and C(<0.05), group E was the highest one than that of the other groups(<0.05). Western blot med tests showed that the Caspase-9 protein expression in group A and B was similar (>0.05), group C was higher than that of group A and B(<0.05), group D was higher than group A, B and C(<0.05), group E was the highest than that of group A, B, C and D (<0.05).

CONCLUSIONSDecompression and Governor Vessel electro-acupuncture on acute severe upper cervical spinal cord compression injury had a better effect compare with decompression and methylprednisolone or simple decompression only, its mechanism may be related to lower the PAF levels and downregulating Caspase-9 protein expression in spinal injury tissue.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the expression of SOX2 in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and cervical cancer and explore its association with the clinical features.

METHODSSOX2 expressions were examined using immunohistochemical method in 10 normal cervical tissue specimens, 36 cervical intraepithelial neoplasia specimens (including 10 cases of grade I, 12 of grade II, and 14 grade III) and 40 cervical cancer specimens (including 21 cases of stage I and 19 of stage II). The correlation between the immunohistochemical results and the clinical features of the patients was analyzed.

RESULTSSOX2 expression was negative in normal cervical tissues, and was positive in 41.6% of CIN specimens (10.0% in CIN I, 41.7% in CIN II, and 64.3% in CIN III) in 82.5% of cervical cancer specimens (78.2% in stage I and 88.2% in stage II). The patients with cervical cancer had a significantly higher positivity rate of SOX2 than normal control group (P<0.05). The positivity rate of SOX2 increased with the evolution of cervical disease. SOX2 protein expression was significantly correlated with the histological grade and lymph node metastasis (P<0.05), but not with the age or clinical stage of the patients (P<0.05).

CONCLUSIONSOX2 expression may serve as a useful indicator for evaluating metastasis and malignancy of cervical cancer.

The purpose of this study is trying to analysis the homology between four lentogenic Class I genotype 3 Newcastle disease virus isolates from different hosts with NDV strain NDV 08-004, which was the first obtained complete genome sequence virus of class I genotype 3. The full-length genome of NDV isolates, JS/3/09/Ch, ZJ/3/10/Ch, AH/2/10/Du and JS/9/08/Go,were determined by RT-PCR and then an alyzed. All the genomes are 15 198 nucleotides (nt) in length. Compared with the full genome sequences of Class II NDV stains (genotype IV-IX),four isolates has a 6-nt deletion in the non-coding region of nuclear phosphoprotein gene between nucleotides 1 640-1 641 and 12-nt insertion in the coding region of phospho protein gene between nucleotides 2 381-2 382. All the isolates have the motifs 112EQ/RQE/GRL117 at the cleavage site of the fusion protein, which is typical of lenogenic NDV strains, and it is in agreement with the result of pathogenic tests. The full-length genome of 4 genotype 3 NDV isolates shared 93% nucleotide identity with NDV08-004. The results of alignment of 6 viral genes showed that NP gene shared the highest identity (98.3%-96.4%) and P gene shared the lowest identity (96.1%-91.9%). The results show the following two points. First, it is concluded that the isolates from different hosts share the same genotype has the insignificant divergence in the genetic information. Second, it is proposed that the mutation rates of NP/F/L genes are lower than P/M/HN genes.
