Guidelines for Digital Ancient Books of TCM Indexing(T/CIATCM 119-2024)is based on the theoretical knowledge, disciplinary methods, and practical applications of TCM classical cataloging.Taking digital ancient books of TCM as the object,it systematically reveals the content of TCM knowledge, which is an essential indexing processing standard for building an intelligent retrieval system for TCM ancient books, and can provide support for the deep development and innovative utilization of TCM knowledge. It can not only promote the co-construction and sharing of ancient book resources in the TCM industry, but also promote the standardization construction and application of TCM information. This standard specifies the principles, methods, and examples of free indexing of digital ancient books of TCM based on their original content. It is applicable to the indexing and processing of digital ancient books of TCM for TCM professional libraries and related institutions, and to the data processing and construction of various types of TCM ancient book databases.

Objective To construct an evidence-based practice program of discharge preparation services for hip replacement patients based on the best evidence, and to evaluate its clinical effects, aiming to provide references for the implementation of relevant interventions. Methods Knowledge to Action Framework was used as a guide to summarise the best evidence on discharge preparation services for hip replacement patients and to select services based on clinical context. We selected 38 hip replacement patients and 17 healthcare professionals from the De-partment of Orthopaedic Surgery at a tertiary A hospital in Shanghai in September-October 2023 to conduct a baseline review, identify facilitating and hindering factors, and develop a practice protocol. We also selected 38 hip replacement patients and 17 healthcare professionals from November-December 2023 on this ward for evidence-based practice.Nurses'rates of completion of review indicators, levels of knowledge of discharge preparation ser-vices,and discharge planning competencies were compared before and after practice.Patients'readiness for dis-charge,hip function, and unplanned readmissions were also compared before and after the practice. Results After evidence-based practice, nurses'completion rates of review indicators, knowledge of discharge preparation services, and discharge planning competencies were higher than baseline levels(P<0.05).Hip replacement patients showed a significant improvement in readiness for discharge and hip function(P<0.001).Conclusion The implementation of an evidence-based practice program of discharge preparation services improves nurses'knowledge and skills, and also contributes to the discharge readiness and hip function of hip replacement patients.

Objective To explore the research hotspots and development trends in the field of cancer treatment in the past decade. Methods The CNKI and Web of Science Core Collection databases were searched for Chinese and English articles related to cancer treatment published over the last 10 years. Bibliometric research methods were employed, including keyword cluster analysis of published literature. Results A total of 45 455 Chinese articles and 866 958 English articles were retrieved. Combining the visualization analysis results and the current research dilemma of tumor treatment revealed that the current research hotspots of tumor treatment domestically and internationally can primarily focus on four key areas. In the realm of targeted therapy, efforts are directed towards the discovery of new drug targets, overcoming resistance to targeted therapy, and the development of monoclonal antibodies and antibody–drug conjugates. In the field of immunotherapy, the emphasis lies in enhancing the response rate to immune checkpoint inhibitors, determining the mechanisms behind resistance to immunotherapy, and improving the safety of treatment. The research in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) covers evidence-based evaluation studies on TCM treatment, the identification of populations that can gain the most benefit from TCM, and strategies for improving the quality of life. In the area of novel drug development, cutting-edge technologies, such as organoid-based screening for anticancer drugs, synthetic biology, and artificial intelligence, are under investigation. Conclusion New targeted drugs, immune efficacy improvement, multidisciplinary integration, nano-delivery, and TCM innovation are the key research directions in the field of tumor therapy in the future.

Chinese Journal of Neuromedicine 2024;23(9):895-902
Objective:To analyze the gene mutation type and clinical phenotype of patients with PRRT2 mutation, and explore their relations with prognosis. Methods:A total of 18 patients with PRRT2 gene mutation (1 patient with novel mutation in PRRT2 gene, and 17 probands in 17 families with PRRT2 gene mutation) were enrolled in Department of Neurology, First Affiliated Hospital of Air Force Medical University from January 2018 to July 2023. Serum of the patients was collected for whole exon sequencing, and mutation sites and types of PRRT2 gene were analyzed. SWISS-MODEL website was used to predict the changes in protein structure caused by PRRT2 gene mutation. The relations of gene mutation type and clinical phenotype with prognosis of these patients were analyzed. Results:(1) All 18 patients with PRRT2 gene mutation were heterozygous mutation, including 12 frameshift mutations, 5 missense mutations, and 1 integer mutation. The clinical phenotype included benign familial infantile epilepsy (BFIE) in 5 patients, epilepsy in 6 patients, exercise-induced paroxysmal kinesigenic dyskinesia (PKD) in 5 patients, and infantile convulsion and choreoathetosis (ICCA) in 2 patients. A total of 8 mutation sites were found in 18 patients with PRRT2 gene mutation, of which 3 mutation sites have been reported, and 5 mutation sites have not been reported, including c.647(exon2)C>A, c.647(exon2)C>G, c.170(exon2)delC, c.981(exon3)C>G, and lossl(EXON: 2)(all). (2) Eighteen patients mainly accepted oxcarbazepine, levetiracetam, and sodium valproate in combination or monotherapy. Among them, 5 BFIE patients, 2 ICCA patients and 3 epilepsy patients were seizure-free after treatment. PKD patients did not respond well to oxcarbazepine. (3) Three frameshift mutations (mutation sites: c.649 [exon2]_c.650 [exon2] insC, c.640 [exon2]_c.641 [exon2] insC, and c.170 [exon2] delC) led to premature termination of protein translation, resulting in significant changes in protein structure. Four missense mutations (mutation sites: c.640[exo2]G>C, c.647[exon2]C>A, c.647[exon2]C>G, and c.981[exon3]C>G) had little effect on protein structure changes. No relation was found between changes of protein structure caused by different mutation types and prognosis. Conclusion:PRRT2 gene mutation patients with clinical phenotypes of BFIE and ICCA have good prognosis, but the mutation type is not related with the prognosis of patients.

Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2024;44(12):1479-1488
The article reviews the clinical and mechanism researches of acupuncture-moxibustion in treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in recent two decades at home and abroad. The results indicate that acupuncture-moxibustion is conductive to RA with fewer adverse reactions for the patients, and improves joint function and quality of life to a certain extent. The therapeutic results of acupuncture-moxibustion result from the multi-target, multi-level collaborative effect on RA. In mechanism, the overall regulation of the neuro-immuno-endocrine system is involved. RA is attenuated through inhibiting inflammatory responses, regulating relevant signaling pathways, maintaining the balance of osteoblasts and articular cartilage, and adjusting the gene expression. Although some achievements have been obtained in clinical and mechanism researches, it still needs to deepen the mechanism research so as to promote the clinical application of acupuncture-moxibustion and provide the new approaches to its innovation and development.
