Objective:To investigate the protection effect of a new 360-degree radiation protection and position fixation device on the pelvic cavity during chest CT examination.Methods:Three shielding methods were applied to the pelvic cavity of the standard simu-lated human model,i.e.,no shielding(group A),traditional 180-degree front protection with a lead square towel(group B),and 360-degree protection with a new protection device(group C).Philips IQon Spectral CT was used to perform chest CT scan at a tube voltage of 80 kVp,100 kVp,and 120 kVp,respectively,and the cumulative radiation doses from the front,side,and back of the pelvic cavity were measured and analyzed statistically.Results:Compared with groups A and B,group C had significantly lower cumulative radiation doses of the front,side,and back of the pelvic cavity in the simulated human model(all P<0.05);at the tube voltages of 80,100,and 120 kVp,the cumulative dose of the pelvic cavity in group C was reduced by 85%,84%,and 67%,respectively,compared with that in group B,and was reduced by 88%,87%,and 76%,respectively,compared with that in group A.Compared with group A,group B had significant reductions in the radiation doses of the side and back of the pelvic cavity(P<0.05)and a significantly higher radiation dose of the front of the pelvic cavity,which was increased by 19%,23%,and 10%,respectively,at the tube voltages of 80,100,and 120 kVp,and there were significant differences in all tube voltage conditions(P<0.05)except under the tube voltage condition of 120 kVp(P=0.190).In addition,after the application of the device for protection,the reduction rate of pelvic radiation dose under the tube voltages of 80 and 100 kVp was higher than that under the tube voltage of 120 kVp.Conclusion:The new 360-degree radiation protection and position fixation device can significantly reduce the cumulative radiation dose of pelvic organs during chest CT scan,and it holds promise for clinical application due to its characteristics of conve-nient wearing and fixed patient position.

The aging trend is intensifying currently,but there is still a lack of standardized diagnosis and treat-ment schemes for severe infections in elderly people.This paper focuses on the recommendations for immune-related clinical diagnosis and treatment routes as well as the idea of risk stratified diagnosis and treatment for elderly peo-ple,aiming to effectively prevent infectious diseases in elderly people and perform stratified management through systematic and scientific means of immune function monitoring and regulation,so as to enhance the standardized level of diagnosis and treatment as well as clinical treatment effect of infection in elderly people.

Talents are the main force for the development of traditional Chinese medicine（TCM）， and the construction of TCM talents and the reformation of talent evaluation system are essential to promote the inheritance and innovation of TCM. At present， we are still exploring and developing in the fields of the formulation， implementation and evaluation indicators of TCM talent evaluation system. However， there are shortcomings and difficulties. For instance， insufficient stratification in the evaluation， excessive emphasis on the quantity of achievements， neglecting the quality of the achievements and the actual contribution， imperfect assessment indicators， and the weak characteristics of TCM. Therefore， national ministries and commissions have jointly issued a document requesting to break the four only and set a new standard， in order to promote the construction of a scientific and technological talent evaluation system oriented by innovation value， ability and contribution. For the evaluation of TCM clinical talents， China Association for Science and Technology commissioned China Association of Chinese Medicine to build the China Clinical Cases Library of TCM（CCCL-TCM）， which aims at collecting the most authoritative and representative TCM clinical cases and exploring the advantages of applying clinical cases as masterpiece of achievement in TCM clinical talents evaluation. CCCL-TCM can promote the construction of a talent evaluation system that is more in line with the development characteristics of TCM industry， and to carry out relevant pilot in TCM colleges and institutions across the country in order to promote the reformation of TCM talent evaluation system.

Introduction: Time away from training and competition from sport injuries may lead to detrimental effects on muscle strength and endurance. The cross-education effect plays an important role in preserving strength during recovery and rehabilitation; however, the effects have been found to be inconclusive. In addition, the distinct impacts of eccentric and concentric strengthening exercises need to be explored. The objective of this study was to compare the cross-education effects of eccentric and concentric wrist flexor strengthening exercises on hand grip strength among recreational athletes. Methods: A total of 39 recreational athletes aged between 18-25 years old were randomly assigned into two groups of wrist flexor strengthening exercise: eccentric (ECC) and concentric (CON) training groups. The training period for the study was 4 weeks with 3 sessions of strengthening exercises per week. Handgrip strength was measured bilaterally, before and after the intervention using the JAMAR handgrip dynamometer. Results: Significant increases in hand grip strength were observed for the ECC and CON groups in both the trained and untrained hands following 4 weeks of training. However, the handgrip strength between the two groups in the untrained hand was not significantly different (p=0.64). The strength gain in the untrained hand was 9.8% and 10.8%, for ECC and CON groups, respectively. Conclusion: The cross-education effect was significant in improving strength in the untrained hand. There was no difference in strength gains between concentric and eccentric strength training.

Objective - To analyze the relationship between cobalt level of post shift urine and individual exposure level of ， cobalt and its compounds in cobalt exposed workers and to explore the feasibility of using urine cobalt as a biomarker. Methods - A total of 148 occupational cobalt exposed workers from a new material company were selected as the exposed ， - - group and 44 non occupational cobalt exposed workers from the company were selected as the control group using the typical sampling method. The exposure concentration of time weighted average of cobalt and its compounds in the workplace air of the - two groups was determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry as the individual exposure level. The cobalt levels - - of pre shift and post shift urinary samples of the two groups were detected by this method. The linear relationship between the - cobalt level of post shift urine and the individual exposure level of cobalt and its compounds in the air of the workplace was Results - 3 analyzed. The individual exposure level of cobalt and its compounds in the exposed group was 1.10 131.71 μg/m with （M） 3 the median of 12.23 μg/m. No cobalt and its compounds were detected in the workplace air in the control group. The cobalt - - levels of pre shift and post shift urines in exposed group were higher than those in the control group at the same time point （M： vs ， vs ， P ） - - 1.54 0.56 μg/L 8.77 0.83 μg/L all <0.01 . The cobalt level of post shift urine was higher than that in pre shift （M： vs ，P ）， urine in the exposed group 8.77 1.54 μg/L <0.01 and it was positively correlated with the individual exposure level （ ，P ） ， of cobalt and its compounds Spearman correlation coefficient=0.86 <0.01 . After common logarithm conversion the linear regression equation of the cobalt level of post shift urine and the common logarithm of individual exposure level of cobalt and （x） ：ŷ x（ ；F ， its compounds in the exposed group was as follows = −0.178 + 0.988 coefficient of determination=0.72 =374.75 P ；t ， P ） Conclusion - <0.01 = - 19.36 <0.01 . There was a linear correlation between cobalt level of post shift urine and occupational cobalt exposure level of cobalt exposed workers. AIM: To study the effects of the specific simulated luminous environment on the visual performance of people with different vision, so as to provide an experimental basis for revising pilots' vision standards. METHODS: A controlled randomized trial was conducted. Twenty-four volunteers were recruited and divided into four groups(1.0/1.0, 0.8/0.8, 0.6/0.6 and 0.4/0.4, decimal vision)according to right/left eye visual acuity, with six subjects in each group. Each subject was tested for static distant vision, kinetic visual acuity, color vision, depth perception error and visual search time under the simulated luminous environments of sunlight, twilight, and on-cloud, respectively, to compare changes in the impact of distinctive luminous surroundings on the visual performance indicators of human beings with different vision.RESULTS: There were main effect differences in static distant vision, kinetic visual acuity, color error, depth perception error and visual search time under different light environments(all P<0.01). The binocular static distant visual acuity, abilities of color discrimination, depth perception and visual search in simulated sunlight environment were higher than those in simulated twilight and on-cloud environments. In the 0.4/0.4 vision group, kinetic vision in simulated twilight and on-cloud environments were significantly lower than that in simulated sunlight environment(P<0.01). There were main effect differences in binocular static distant vision, kinetic visual acuity, depth perception error and visual search time among subjects with different vision(all P<0.05). Compared with 1.0/1.0 vision group, those with 0.6/0.6 and 0.4/0.4 vision had significant decrease in kinetic visual acuity, depth perception ability and visual search ability(all P<0.05). CONCLUSION: Different luminous environments have a great impact on the visual performance of people with low vision, which poses a potential threat to flight safety.

Objective:To explore the method of building the formative assessment (FA) system in diagnostics teaching and investigate its implementation effect.Methods:We planned and formulated the formative assessment system in diagnostics teaching of undergraduate curriculum. The correlation between the scores of the formative assessment and final exam were analyzed. A questionnaire survey on students' attitudes towards FA and an interview on teachers' perspectives were conducted. SPSS 17.0 was used for statistical analysis. Linear correlation analysis was used to compare the final exam scores with formative assessment scores, and Wilcoxon rank sum test was used to compare the scores of questionnaire items.Results:The scores of FA were significantly positive related to the scores of final exam ( r = 0.559, P < 0.001). The questionnaire analysis showed that students significantly valued the formative assessment superior to the summative assessment ( Z = -8.632, P<0.001). It was generally approved of the promotion of FA in students' self-direct learning and self-supervision and the advances in acquirement of knowledge and skills. Conclusion:It is feasible of carrying FA in diagnostics teaching which could provide better learning outcome and might have an extensive prospect of application.

Objective To explore characteristics of flow field around the athletes, change of net flow force, and influences of hip flexion angles at the end of extension kick on the submerged dolphin kick stroke. Methods The body shape data of a swimmer were obtained by three-dimensional (3D) scanning, and the data were reversely reconstructed to obtain the swimmer model. The joints of the swimmer model were separated, and each segment of the athlete was divided into independent rigid body, and simulation of the submerged dolphin kick stroke was realized by controlling movement of each independent rigid body. The computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software package ANSYS Fluent was used as the solver for calculation and solution. Results The vortex structures were shed off from the surface of the swimmer’s body in the area with a large velocity gradient in flow field, and the shedding of vortex structures was different at the stage of extension kick and flexion kick. Propulsion was mainly generated during extension kick phase. At the end of extension kick, the drag decreased as the hip flexion angle increased from 20° to 30°. Conclusions To some extent, increasing flexion angle of the hip joint at the end of extension kick will reduce the drag force and increase the swimming speed in process of the submerged dolphin kick stroke.

Autoimmune thyroid disease （AITD） is a complex organ-specific autoimmune disease， associated with many factors such as genetic susceptibility， environmental factors， immune system disorders， and intestinal microbiota imbalance， which seriously affect the quality of life. At present， oral medicine， iodine 131 treatment and surgical treatment are mainly adopted in clinical parctice of western medicine. Although they can exert a certain curative effect， they still have surgical risks and side effect. Modern research shows that， traditional Chinese medicine（TCM） has the characteristics of stable curative effect， multi-targeted regulation and less side effect. It has definite efficacy and unique advantages in the prevention and treatment of AITD. Helper T lymphocyte cell 17 （Th17） mediate inflammation to induce immune promotion， while regulatory T lymphocyte cell （Treg） mediate immunosuppression， Th17 and Treg cooperate to maintain the balance of the immune microenvironment. During AITD progress， Inflammatory Th17 can be high， and the levels of mediated immunosuppressive Treg are relatively decreased. The restoration of balance between the two plays a key role in the inflammatory and immune processes of AITD. In recent years， based on Th17/Treg cell axis， a large number of clinical and experimental studies on the intervention of TCM on Th17/Treg balance in AITD have been carried out in the field of TCM， and some results have been achieved. Studies have shown that intervention in the Th17/Treg signaling axis is an important mechanism for the treatment of autoimmune thyroid diseases. This paper summarizes and analyzes the previous studies on the intervention effect of Chinese medicine monomer， Chinese medicine composition and Chinese medicine compound on Th17/Treg cell axis in AITD， mainly from the aspects of intervention related inflammatory factor secretion， regulation of antibody titer and the expression of related genes of related genes. These studies will help people to understand the mechanism of TCM in interfering with the Th17/Treg balance in AITD more accurately and comprehensively， and provide references for the rational application of TCM in the prevention and treatment of autoimmune thyroid diseases in clinical practice.
