1.A network meta-analysis of effects of different psychological interventions on fear of cancer recurrence

Objective:To analyze the effects of different psychological interventions on cancer patients' fear of cancer recurrence(FCR).Methods:Randomized controlled trials examining the effects of various psychological interventions on FCR among cancer patients were searched for in both Chinese and English literature databases.A network meta-analysis was conducted to explore the intervention effects,utilizing standardized mean difference(SMD),95%confidence interval(CI),and surface under the cumulative ranking(SUCRA)of FCR as the effect indicators.Results:A total of 34 studies involving 3 772 participants were included,of which five types of psycho-logical interventions were evaluated,namely acceptance and commitment therapy(ACT),gratitude-expansion thera-py(GET),cognitive behavioral therapy(CBT),mindfulness therapy(MT),and multi-component psychological in-tervention(Mul).According to the time of effect evaluation,three effect evaluation timing were confirmed,with immediate post-intervention group,1-2 months post-intervention group,and 3-6 months post-intervention group identified.Compared with conventional care,in the immediate post-intervention group,ACT(SMD=-1.80,95%CI:-2.47--1.13),GET(SMD=-1.33,95%CI:-2.07--0.59),MT(SMD=-0.59,95%CI:-1.03--0.14)and CBT(SMD=-0.54,95%CI:-0.93--0.15)could effectively reduce FCR,and the SUCRA val-ue of ACT was upmost to 0.96.In the 1-2 months post-intervention group,GET(SMD=-2.32,95%CI:-2.99--1.65)and ACT(SMD=-1.46,95%CI:-2.23--0.70)could effectively reduce FCR,and the SUCRA value of GET was upmost to 0.99.In the 3-6 months post-intervention group,Mul(SMD=-1.82,95%CI:-3.03--0.61)and MT(SMD=-1.43,95%CI:-2.33--0.54)could effectively reduce FCR,and the SU-CRA value of Mul was upmost to 0.90.Conclusion:Different psychological interventions vary in their effectiveness on FCR across effect evaluation time points,highlighting the need for tailored approaches on mitigating FCR in clin-ical practice.
2.Effect of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation on sleep structure and quality in children with autism spectrum disorder

Objective:To investigate the effect of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS)on sleep structure and quality in children with autism spectrum disorder(ASD).Methods:Sixty children with ASD who met the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders,Fifth Edition(DSM-5)criteria were randomly assigned to rTMS treatment group and pseudo-treatment group.The rTMS group received bilateral low-frequency(0.5 Hz)stimulation,and the pseudo-treatment group received pseudo-stimulation at the same time and place.Sleep quality and autism symptoms were assessed at baseline,midpoint(15 sessions),and endpoint(30 sessions),using the Childhood Sleep Disorders Scale(SDSC)and the Behavior Rating Scale for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders(ABC)before treatment,15 times and 30 times of intervention,and statistical analysis was performed.Results:There was no significant difference in SDSC factor and total score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After 15 and 30 treatments,the total scores of SDSC and all factors were lower in the rTMS group than in the pseudo-treatment group(P<0.05).Repeated measurement ANOVA found that there was an interaction be-tween the groups and the number of interventions,that is,the scores of the two groups had different downward trends,and the decline of the treatment group was more obvious than that of the pseudo-treatment group.There was no significant difference in the interaction between ABC scale scores and intervention times(P>0.05).Conclu-sion:Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation significantly improves the sleep structure and quality in children with autism spectrum disorder.
3.Core dimensions of adolescent anxiety and their relationship with parental rearing styles and perceived social support

Objective:To explore the core dimensions of adolescent anxiety and their relationship with parental rearing styles and perceived social support using network analysis.Methods:A total of 3 712 adolescents were in-vestigated.The Screen for Child Anxiety Related Emotional Disorders,the Short-form Egna Minnenav Barndoms Uppfostran for Chinese,and the Perceived Social Support Scale were used to assess the anxiety levels,parental rea-ring styles,and perceived social support.Network analysis and gender network comparison were conducted using R programming language.Results:The network analysis model showed that generalized anxiety and somatization/pan-ic anticipation had the highest Expected Influence of 1.21 and 1.12,which were the two core dimensions of adoles-cent anxiety levels.The affective warmth in parental rearing styles had a Bridge Expected Influence index of 0.34,making it a bridging node in the network.The network comparison result indicated that there were significant struc-tural gender differences in the adolescent anxiety-parenting style-perceived social support network(P<0.05),but there was no significant gender difference in global strength(P>0.05).Conclusion:Interventions targeting adoles-cent anxiety should prioritize generalized anxiety and somatization/panic.Emotional warmth in parenting serves as a bridge connecting adolescent anxiety with perceived levels of social support.
4.Effects of dance movement therapy on psychological symptoms and psychological craving in methamphetamine-dependent women

Objective:To investigate the intervention effect of dance therapy on the psychological symptoms and psychological craving in methamphetamine-dependent women.Methods:A total of 60 methamphetamine de-pendents in a women's drug rehabilitation center were divided into intervention group and control group(1 person dropped out).The intervention group was trained for 8 dance movements,during which the control group did not in-tervene.The Zhang Tuoji and Chen Huichang's Temperament Scale,Symptom Self-Rating Scale(SCL-90)and Amphetamine Craving Scale(DSQ)were used to evaluate the temperament type,psychological symptoms and psy-chological craving.Results:The differences of SCL-90 depression and anxiety scores(post-intervention score-base-line score)and DSQ total scores were higher in the intervention group than in the control group(Ps<0.05).The choleric temperament scores were negatively correlated with the differences of DSQ total scores(r=-0.45,P<0.05),and the melancholic temperament scores were positively correlated with the differences of SCL-90 hostility dimension scores(r=0.41,P<0.05).Conclusion:Dance therapy could improve the psychological symptoms and psychological craving of women dependent on methamphetamine,with varying effects across different temperament types.
5.A case of using acceptance and commitment therapy matrix for pre-exam anxiety

Objective:To explore the effect of acceptance and commitment therapy matrix(ACT Matrix)for somatic symptoms associated with pre-exam anxiety in a high school student.Methods:An 8-session intervention was conducted,conceptualized by the ACT Matrix.The comprehensive assessment of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy processes(CompACT)and the evaluation of inverted U-shaped pressure curve were used for pre-and post-assessment.Results:The client's CompACT score increased from 56 to 71,and his stress level score decreased from 9 to 6.The client's somatic symptoms were significantly alleviated,the sleep improved,the relationship with his par-ents enhanced.Furthermore,The client exceeded expectation in the final semester exam.Conclusion:ACT Matrix effectively alleviated pre-exam anxiety-related somatic symptoms in a high school student,which is a useful tool to guide and facilitate the counseling.
6.Cross-lagged panel analysis of self-esteem and hope in adolescents

Objective:To investigate the longitudinal relationship between self-esteem and hope of adolescents and to explore gender differences.Methods:A total of 1 982 adolescents,aged 11 to 24,participated in a l-year lon-gitudinal study with 3 waves of assessments(T1,baseline time;T2,6 months later;T3,1 year later).The Self-Es-teem Scale(SES)and the Children's Hope Scale(CHS)were used to measure levels of self-esteem and hope.The data were analyzed using a cross-lagged panel model and multi-group structural equation modeling.Results:Across the three measurement waves,the self-esteem scores were positively correlated with the hope scores(r=0.40-0.67).Results from the cross-lagged analysis indicated a bidirectional predictive relationship between the self-es-teem scores and hope scores over the year(β=0.09-0.22).The results of multi-group analysis showed significant gender differences in the autoregressive path of self-esteem in the three measures(Waldx2=3.78-3.84).Conclu-sion:Adolescents' self-esteem and hope exhibit a bidirectional predictive relationship,with no significant gender differences in the cross-lagged paths.

8.Validation of the Interdependent Happiness Scale in Chinese adults

Objective:To adapt the Interdependent Happiness Scale(IHS)into Chinese(IHS-C)version and evaluate its validity and reliability.Methods:Item analysis and exploratory factor analysis(EFA)were conducted on data from 500 adults collected via Credamo.Confirmatory factor analysis(CFA)and multi-group measurement invariance tests were performed on an additional 600 adults.The Simplified Chinese versions of the Depression-Anxiety-Stress Scale(DASS-21),Satisfaction with Life Scale(SWLS),and Flourishing Scale(FS)were used to assess criterion validity and incremental validity.Furthermore,test-retest reliability over a four-week interval was examined in a sample of 245 adults,collected through three university-wide elective courses and two WeChat groups.Internal consistency was assessed with the total sample(n=1 345).Results:EFA revealed a single common factor,explaining 53.80%of the variance,with factor loadings of the items ranging from 0.63 to 0.84.CFA indi-cated a good fit for the one-factor model(x2/df=1.97,CFI=0.99,TLI=0.98,SRMR=0.03,RMSEA=0.04).The scale demonstrated measurement invariance across gender and identity groups(ΔCFI ≤ 0.01,ΔRMSEA 0.015).The scores of IHS-C were negatively correlated with DASS-21 subscale scores(r=-0.65,-0.48,-0.58,Ps<0.001)and positively correlated with SWLS scores(r=0.82,P<0.001)and FS scores(r=0.84,P<0.001).The Cronbach α for IHS-C was 0.89,and the test-retest reliability was 0.73.Conclusion:The Chinese version of the Interdependent Happiness Scale(IHS-C)is a valid and reliable tool for assessing happiness in adults.
9.A cross-lagged study of the relationship between core self-evaluation and academic burnout among college students

Objective:To examine the relationship between college students'core self-evaluation and academic burnout,and to provide empirical support for intervention strategies.Methods:A two-point longitudinal study was conducted with 245 medical students over a period of 18 months(T1:May 2023,T2:November 2024)to assess participants'core self-evaluation level using the Core Self-Evaluation Scale(CSES),and the overall burnout level u-sing the Academic Study Burnout Inventory(ASBI).Cross-lagged panel model was applied to examine the bidirec-tional causal relationship.Results:The cross-lagged results showed that core self-evaluation score in T1 negatively predicted academic burnout score inT2(β=-0.21,P<0.01),and academic burnout score in T1 also negatively predicted core self-evaluation score in T2(β=-0.20,P<0.05).Conclusion:Core self-evaluations and academic burnout exhibit a reciprocal predictive relationship over time.
10.Relation between family function and suicidal ideation among college students,and the mediating effect of self-affirmation and reasons for living

Objective:To explore the relationship between suicidal ideation and family function in college students,and further explore the roles of self-affirmation and reasons for living in this relationship.Method:Totally 843 college students were selected in Guangdong Province,and surveyed with the suicide ideation items of the Beck Scale for Suicide Ideation-Chinese Version(BSI-CV),Family Function Questionnaire(APGAR),self-affirmation subscale of General Health Questionnaire(GHQ-20)and Reason for Living Scale-Chinese Version(RFL-C).Re-sults:The scores of APGAR,self-affirmation subscale and RFL-C were negatively correlated with suicidal ideation scores(r=-0.10,-0.14,-0.11;Ps<0.01).The mediating and chain mediating effects of self-affirmation and reasons for living were-0.03,-0.02 and-0.01,respectively,accounting for 42.86%,28.56%and 14.29%of the total effect,respectively.Conclusion:College students'suicidal ideation may be related to family function,and could be reduced by enhancing self-affirmation and reasons for living.
