Objective: To systematically evaluate the lapse rate of voluntary blood donation in China, and to provide theoretical reference for blood centers to develop donor retention strategies. Methods: Cross-sectional studies on the lapse rate of voluntary blood donation and its influencing factors, published between January 2015 and May 2024, were retrieved from the CNKI, Wanfang Data, VIP, PubMed, Web of Science and The Cochrane Library databases. Two reviewers independently screened the literature and extracted data, and Review Manager 5.4 software was used for meta-analysis. Results: A total of 14 literature involving 428 343 lapsed blood donors were included. Meta-analysis showed that the overall lapse rate of blood donation in China was 47.0% [95% CI(33.0, 61.0)]; and age among 18 to 25[OR=1.40, 95% CI(1.02, 1.92)], no previous donation history [OR=4.54, 95% CI(2.13, 9.67)], relocation from the city of last donation [OR=2.89, 95% CI(1.13, 7.37)], low satisfaction [OR=1.80, 95% CI(1.42, 2.28)], adverse reactions [OR=1.92, 95% CI(1.07, 3.45)], and negative public opinion [OR=2.72, 95% CI(1.23, 6.02)] were the influential factors for blood donors. The sub group analysis results showed that the lapse rate of blood donation in China during different research period was 44.0%[95% CI (26.7, 62.4)] from 2017 to 2019 and 50.0%[95% CI(37.2, 63.1)] from 2020 to 2023; and the lapse rate of blood donors was 42.0%[95% CI(31.8, 52.8)] among platelet donors and 64.0%[95% CI(52.2, 83.2)] among whole blood donors. Sensitivity analysis suggests that the research results are stable, and the funnel diagram combined with Egger test and Begg' test shows that there is no publication bias. Conclusion: The lapse rate of blood donation remains relatively high in China. Blood centers should take measures such as strengthening guidance for first-time blood donors, promoting refined services, implementing predictive interventions, and improving to monitor the social media to enhance blood donor's willingness for donating repeatedly and reduce the lapse rate of blood donors.

: ObjectiveTo study the correlation between mental status and personality of patients with stroke. Methods103 patients with stroke were surveyed by Symptom Checklist 90 (SCL-90) and Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ). ResultsThe scores of 7 factors which include total scores, somatisation, compulsion, depression, anxiety, panic and psychosis in SCL-90 were higher than norm, but the inter-personal sensitivity was lower. The scores of neuroticism (N) in EPQ were higher than the domestic norm(P<0.05),the scores of extra-introversion (E) and psychoticism (P) in EPQ were lower than the domestic norm(P<0.05); The N of EPQ was positively correlated with all factors of SCL-90, the E was positively correlated with hostility and paranoia factor, and the P was positively correlated with paranoia factor. ConclusionThe mental status of patient with stroke in acute period was poor. The character of neuroticism and introversion may be its personality background.
