OBJECTIVES: Pelvic floor dysfunction is common among pregnant and postpartum women and significantly impacts quality of life. This study aims to translate the German Pelvic Floor Questionnaire for Pregnant and Postpartum Women into Chinese and to evaluate its reliability and validity in the Chinese population. METHODS: The questionnaire was translated using the Brislin model. A cross-sectional study was conducted among pregnant and postpartum women to assess the content validity, construct validity, Cronbach's α coefficient, test-retest reliability, and split-half reliability of the Chinese version. RESULTS: A total of 72 women were included, with 6.9% being pregnant and 93.1% postpartum; the age was (32.3±3.6) years. The Chinese version of the questionnaire contains 4 dimensions and 45 items. The content validity index of individual items ranged from 0.833 to 1.000, with a scale-level content validity index of 0.977 and intraclass correlation coefficients (ICCs) exceeding 0.90. The overall Cronbach's α coefficient was 0.891, with subscale coefficients ranging from 0.732 to 0.884 (all ICCs>0.70). The test-retest reliability of the total scale was 0.833, and for the 4 dimensions, bladder, bowel, prolapse, and sexual function, the values were 0.776, 0.579, 0.732, and 0.645, respectively. The split-half reliability was 0.74. CONCLUSIONS The Chinese version of the questionnaire demonstrated good reliability and validity, indicating its applicability in assessing pelvic floor dysfunction and associated risk factors during pregnancy and postpartum.

Objective To screen the active chemical components with potential therapeutic effects against lung cancer in tea and to provide new insights into the treatment and prevention of lung cancer.Methods Based on net-work pharmacology,the main active components from 13 types of tea samples were analyzed using liquid chromatog-raphy-mass spectrometry(LC-MS).The targets of these small molecules were obtained from the BATMAN-TCM da-tabase to construct a"component-target-disease"network.Lung cancer-related disease targets were retrieved from the GeneCard and Malacard databases followed by Gene Ontology(GO)functional and KEGG pathway enrichment analyses of potential pharmacological targets.A protein-protein interaction(PPI)network was constructed using the STRING database.The molecular docking was employed to screen small molecules with potential anti-cancer ac-tivity,and their potential inhibition to proliferation of human non-small cell lung cancer cell line A549 and human large cell lung cancer cell line H460.Results A total of 37 active components and 429 targets were identified in tea,with 182 overlapping targets associated with lung cancer.GO analysis revealed that these targets were primarily involved in biological processes such as cell proliferation,response to stimuli,and metabolic processes.KEGG pathway analysis indicated that these targets were mainly enriched in the p53 signaling pathway,ErbB signaling pathway,and PI3K-Akt signaling pathway.PPI network analysis identified key targets including MAPK1,AKT1,SRC,MAPK3,and p53.Molecular docking screened coumestrol as a molecule capable of binding to human estro-gen receptor 2(ESR2),and its inhibitory effect on the proliferation of A549 and H460 cells was experimentally validated(P＜0.000 1).Conclusions The active components in tea may intervene in the development and progres-sion of lung cancer through a multi-component,multi-target,and multi-pathway mechanism,The results suggests po-tential components against lung cancer in tea,which may be applied in the prevention of human lung cancer.

Objective : To investigate the drug resistance and pathogenicity of six clinical isolates of Klebsiella pneu- moniae (Kp) ，and to provide a basis for prevention and treatment of Kp infection． Methods : The six strains from different hospitals were isolated ，cultured ，and identified by species-specific gene khe． Their whole genome se- quences (WGS) were obtained using next-generation sequencing technology (NGS) ．Based on the WGS，the cap- sular serotypes，sequence types (ST) and drug-resistance genes of six strains were identified．The capsular sero- type genes and virulence genes were validated or identified using PCR. Broth microdilution tests were conducted to validate their drug susceptibility，and mice were challenged with Kp aerosols by MicroSprayer aerosolizer to evaluate their pathogenicity. Results : The six strains were all serotype K2 but belonged to four ST types ( ST14 ，ST65， ST700，and ST86) ，and collectively carried six virulence genes and 23 drug-resistance genes．All the six strains were resistant to ampicillin，but only one strain was multidrug-resistant．Four strains exhibited high mucoid charac- teristics．Five strains could cause mortality in mice，which were preliminary identified as high virulence strains. Conclusion For the six Kp clinical isolates from different sources，only one strain named NY 13294 is both multi- drug-resistant and highly virulent，and other four highly virulent strains are resistant to one or two types of antibiot- ics.

To promote the development of extracellular vesicles of herbal medicine especially the establishment of standardization, led by the National Expert Committee on Research and Application of Chinese Herbal Vesicles, research experts in the field of herbal medicine and extracellular vesicles were invited nationwide with the support of the Expert Committee on Research and Application of Chinese Herbal Vesicles, Professional Committee on Extracellular Vesicle Research and Application, Chinese Society of Research Hospitals and the Guangdong Engineering Research Center of Chinese Herbal Vesicles. Based on the collation of relevant literature, we have adopted the Delphi method, the consensus meeting method combined with the nominal group method to form a discussion draft of "Consensus statement on research and application of Chinese herbal medicine derived extracellular vesicles-like particles (2023)". The first draft was discussed in online and offline meetings on October 12, 14, November 2, 2022 and April and May 2023 on the current status of research, nomenclature, isolation methods, quality standards and research applications of extracellular vesicles of Chinese herbal medicines, and 13 consensus opinions were finally formed. At the Third Academic Conference on Research and Application of Chinese Herbal Vesicles, held on May 26, 2023, Kewei Zhao, convenor of the consensus, presented and read the consensus to the experts of the Expert Committee on Research and Application of Chinese Herbal Vesicles. The consensus highlights the characteristics and advantages of Chinese medicine, inherits the essence, and keeps the righteousness and innovation, aiming to provide a reference for colleagues engaged in research and application of Chinese herbal vesicles at home and abroad, decode the mystery behind Chinese herbal vesicles together, establish a safe, effective and controllable accurate Chinese herbal vesicle prevention and treatment system, and build a bridge for Chinese medicine to the world.

Objective:To evaluate the clinical application effects of a domestic bone-level implant system for restoring single tooth loss, and provide clinical evidence for the promotion and application of domestic implants.Methods:A prospective, multicenter clinical trial was conducted from April 2018 to January 2020 in three institutions: Department of Oral Implantology, School & Hospital of Stomatology, Wuhan University, Department of Stomatology, The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine, and Department of Stomatology, The Third Hospital of Hebei Medical University. The trial planned to include 100 patients for single tooth implantation and restoration, followed up for 1 year, to evaluate the implantation success rate and other related outcomes.Results:This study screened a total of 142 patients and ultimately included 100, comprising 43 males and 57 females with age of (47.0±12.2) years. Ninety-eight out of 100 patients completed a one-year follow-up (98.0%), while 2 patients terminated the trial early due to implant loosening (2.0%). After a one-year follow-up, the implants of the 98 patients were all functioning successfully, with a success rate of 98.0% (98/100). The patients were satisfied with the overall restoration effect.Conclusions:This study indicates that the domestic bone-level implant system has achieved favorable short-term clinical outcomes for single-tooth implantation and restoration.

Objective Explore the factors affecting rural residents'willingness to use telemedicine in China,and put forward relevant suggestions to promote the development of telemedicine in rural areas.Methods A research model was built based on Technology Acceptance Model,data were collected through using a questionnaire survey and analyze by structural equation modelling for validation.Results The awareness rate of telemedicine among rural residents was 62.0%and the usage rate was 10.0%,which was low.Perceived usefulness,perceived ease of use,social participation,social support,and facilitators positively influence rural residents'willingness to use telemedicine(P＜0.05),while perceived risk and social connection have no effect on the willingness of rural residents to use telemedicine(P＞0.05).Conclusion Promote the construction of telemedicine system infrastructure to comprehensively enhance the level of rural medical and health services;improve telemedicine laws and regulations to promote the policy guarantee of the three medical institutions;give full play to the role of social capital to improve the information literacy of rural residents in the use of telemedicine.

Prostate cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in men and posing a serious threat to men's health. Detection methods such as prostate-specific antigen (PSA), prostate biopsy, and magnetic resonance imaging are widely used for prostate cancer screening, but they have low specificity, high cost, and significant risks. Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop highly specific, low-cost, easily obtained, stable, and reliable biomarkers, and use them as the basis to establish non-invasive screening and diagnostic methods for prostate cancer. This paper reviewed the recent advances in the use of prostate cancer biomarkers and combined detection methods for prostate cancer diagnosis and prognosis assessment and provides an in-depth analysis and comparison of different biomarkers and combined detection methods, as well as points out the directions and challenges for future research. The paper emphasizes the importance of developing efficient, cost-effective and easy-to-implement biomarkers to increase the early diagnosis rate of prostate cancer, improve patient prognosis, and reduce the waste of healthcare resources. This paper provides an important theoretical basis and technical guidance for early diagnosis, precise treatment and prognostic evaluation of prostate cancer, and has important reference value for promoting clinical research and practice of prostate cancer.

BACKGROUND: This study aimed to determine the reasons for conversion and elucidate the safety and efficacy of transition to tenofovir alafenamide/emtricitabine/bictegravir sodium (TAF/FTC/BIC) in highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART)-experienced HIV-infected patients in real-world settings. METHODS: We conducted a retrospective cohort study. The treatment conversion rationales, safety, and effectiveness in 1684 HIV-infected patients with previous HAART experience who switched to TAF/FTC/BIC were evaluated at Beijing Ditan Hospital from September 2021 to Auguest 2022. RESULTS: Regimen simplification (990/1684, 58.79%) was the most common reason for switching, followed by osteoporosis or osteopenia (375/1684, 22.27%), liver dysfunction (231/1684, 13.72%), decline in tenofovir alafenamide/emtricitabine/elvitegravir/cobicistat (TAF/FTC/EVG/c) with food restriction (215/1684, 12.77%), virological failure (116/1684, 6.89%), and renal dysfunction (90/1684, 5.34%). In patients receiving non-nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NNRTI)-containing regimens, lipid panel changes 1 year after switching indicated a difference of 3.27 ± 1.10 mmol/L vs . 3.40 ± 1.59 mmol/L in triglyceride ( P  = 0.014), 4.82 ± 0.74 mmol/L vs . 4.88 ± 0.72 mmol/L in total cholesterol ( P  = 0.038), 3.09 ± 0.70 mmol/L vs . 3.18 ± 0.66 mmol/L in low-density lipoprotein ( P  <0.001), and 0.99 ± 0.11 mmol/L vs . 0.95 ± 0.10 mmol/L in high-density lipoprotein ( P  <0.001). Conversely, among patients receiving booster-containing regimens, including TAF/FTC/EVG/c and lopinavir/ritonavir (LPV/r), lipid panel changes presented decreased trends. We also observed an improved trend in viral load suppression, and alanine transaminase (ALT), aspartate transaminase (AST), estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), and serum creatinine levels after the transition ( P  <0.001). CONCLUSION The transition to TAF/FTC/BIC demonstrated good treatment potency. Furthermore, this study elucidates the motivations behind the adoption of TAF/FTC/BIC in real-world scenarios, providing clinical evidence supporting the stable conversion to TAF/FTC/BIC for HAART-experienced patients.

This paper reported the management of a pregnant women with inherited protein C deficiency. The patient had a history of recurrent deep vein thrombosis before pregnancy and was diagnosed with inherited protein C deficiency by a pedigree-based whole exome sequencing, which revealed PROC gene mutations. She received anticoagulation treatment and was managed by a multidisciplinary team during pregnancy. No significant abnormalities were found during routine prenatal examination and a male infant was delivered vaginally at 38 +2 gestational weeks. No postpartum hemorrhage was reported and the maternal and infant outcomes were good. The management of such patients during pregnancy mainly relied on anticoagulation therapy to avoid serious thrombotic events and ensure the safety of the mothers and fetuses.

Micronutrients are important factors affecting the immune system. Micronutrients contribute to maintaining the normal functions of immune system through maintaining the integrity of skin and mucosa, regulating the activity of cytokines, and mediating the proliferation and differentiation of T cells and B cells. Human immune system changes at different stages of growth and development, and micronutrient deficiency can impair the immune system and increase the susceptibility to respiratory infections. Therefore, maintaining the optimal nutritional status is beneficial for the immune system to prevent respiratory infections. Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-Cov-2) infection is one of the respiratory infectious diseases that is of most concern recently. Micronutrient supplementation has been shown to have positive effects on the prevention of, symptom relief of and recovery from SARS-Cov-2 infection. Further studies are needed to systematically evaluate the effects of micronutrients on immunity and respiratory infections, and to identify the appropriate timing and dosage.
