ObjectiveTo investigate the effects of Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus lignans on schizophrenia induced by dizocilpine maleate （MK-801） in mice and to clarify its mechanism. MethodsMale mice of 4-6 weeks old were randomized into blank， model， positive drug， and low-， medium-， and high-dose （40， 80， 160 mg·kg^-1， respectively） Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus lignans groups. The blank group was administrated with distilled water， and the other groups were injected with 0.5 mg·kg^-1 MK-801 to induce schizophrenia symptoms. Meanwhile， risperidone was injected at 0.2 mg·kg^-1 in the positive drug group， and mice in the intervention groups were injected with corresponding drugs for 14 consecutive days. The behavioral changes of mice were observed by autonomous activity test， open field test， forced swimming test， and water maze test. The levels of dopamine （DA） and 5-hydroxytryptamine （5-HT） in the brain and tumor necrosis factor-α （TNF-α） and nuclear factor-κB （NF-κB） in peripheral blood were quantified by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay （ELISA）. The changes in the prefrontal lobe of mice were observed by hematoxylin-eosin staining， and the changes of the hippocampal tissue were observed by Nissl staining. The protein levels of silencing information regulatory factor 1 （SIRT1） and forkhead box protein O3a （FoxO3a） in the hippocampus of mice were determined by Western blot. ResultsCompared with the model group， low， medium， and high doses of Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus lignans reduced the total number of autonomous activities， total distance in the open field test， immobile time in the forced swimming test， and levels of TNF-α and NF-κB in peripheral blood （P<0.05）， while increasing the number of platform crossings in the water maze test and DA and 5-HT levels in the brain tissue （P<0.05）. Compared with the model group， risperidone and low， medium， and high doses of Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus lignans improve the neural cell morphology in the CA1 region， with full cells in neatly dense arrangement and exhibiting clear membrane boundary. Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus lignans inhibited the expression of SIRT 1 and FoxO3a in the hippocampus （P<0.05）. ConclusionTo sum up， Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus lignans may improve the behavior of schizophrenic mice by activating the SIRT1/FoxO3a signaling pathway to exert neuroprotective effects.

Objective:To investigate influence of different phantoms on the results of quality control for the images of cone beam computed tomography(CBCT)for breast on the basis of quality control for breast CBCT.Methods:Five different manufacturers'phantoms were selected,and they were placed at the position of testing breast in clinical examination to conduct position for phantom according to the method of the national health industry standard WS 818-2023.The analysis focused on the differences of evaluation results of using different phantoms for image quality on the basis of a series of parameters included uniformity,resolution of high contrast,resolution of low contrast,and CT value of water in scanning images of different phantoms.Data collection and image reconstruction were performed respectively by using commonly clinical procedures.Corresponding module images were selected from the reconstructed images of standard breast phantom.The common layer thickness and projection method of the system were set to record and analyze data.Results:The image uniformity of measured results of the five phantoms were respectively 42.37±2.01,-5.83±0.15,3.76±0.15,2.16±0.06,3.60±0.10.The differences of the image uniformities among the five phantoms were statistically significant(F=1310.02,P<0.001),and the differences of the CT values of the measured water among the five phantoms were statistically significant(F=9 846.46,P<0.001).The differences in the resolution of low contrast among them were also statistically significant(F=27.50,P<0.001).However,the results of the resolution of high contrast were stability,and there was no significant difference in that among the five phantoms.Conclusion:The measured results of quality control of different phantoms are different.

OBJECTIVE To explore the implementation and standardized management of infection control core ele-ments in grass-roots medical institutions within county-level medical communities.METHODS From Mar.2024 to Apr.2024,the current status of implementation of infection control core elements in the grass-roots medical institu-tions within county-level medical communities was investigated by means of questionnaire survey and qualita-tive interview,and the implementation strategies were further explored.RESULTS The infection management or-ganizational system and functions of the two county-level medical institutions within the county medical communi-ties were completed,there is no independent hospital infection management department in the primary medical in-stitutions.The infection management personnel in the 16 grass-roots medical institutions were part-time person-nel,the personnel with the educational background below junior college accounted for 84.21％,the personnel with the professional background of nursing accounted for 100.00％,the personnel with less than 5 years of working experience accounted for 78.95％,none of them had an on-the-job training certificate.The monitoring programs of the county-level medical institutions within the county medical communities were completed,there was no infec-tion management monitoring information platform in the grass-roots medical institutions.The infection cases,hand hygiene,environmental health and occupational exposures were monitored by people.The grass-roots medi-cal institutions had the highest requirements for various professional trainings and increase of training contents of prevention and control of public health infectious diseases(100.00％).The county-level medical institutions had inadequate capabilities of professional examination of medical equipment replacement and construction of medi-cal architecture.CONCLUSION It is necessary for the country and local levels of governments to attach great importance to the implementation of the infection control core elements in the grass-roots medical institutions within the county-lev-el medical communities,establish the county-level regional information platform,formulate the corresponding surveil-lance indexes and homogenized management systems,complete the cultivation of talents,and offer financial support.

Objective : To investigate the effects of cinnamaldehyde(CA) on the growth, metastasis and apoptosis of human endometriosis(EMs) cells and to explore whether the mechanism is related to ribosomal protein S7(RPS7) expression. Methods : Endometriosis cells were divided into control group, CA group, sh-NC group, CA+sh-RPS7 group. Effects of CA on cell growth in human endometriotic cells were determined using Cell Counting Kit-8(CCK-8) and colony formation assay. Effects of CA on cell metastasis were performed by motility assay and Transwell assay. Effects of CA on cell apoptosis were evaluated by Hoechst 33258 staining and flow cytometry. Meanwhile, the levels of PCNA, E-cadherin, Vimentin, Bax and Bcl-2 were evaluated using Western blot in human endometriotic cells with treatment CA. The expression of RPS7 was detected by qRT-PCR and Western blot assay. The RPS7 overexpression of human endometriotic cells was established by cell transfection. CA-mediated effects on cell proliferation and apoptosis were determined by CCK-8 assay and flow cytometry in human endometriotic cells with RPS7 overexpression. Results : CA repressed cell growth as well as down-regulated PCNA. The half inhibitory concentration(IC50) value was 53.60 μmol/L after 24 h treatment, and colony formation rate was 25.32%. Additionally, CA inhibited metastasis which was associated with downregulated Vimentin and upregulated E-cadherin. The relative migration rates were 35% and 29% as well as invasion rate was 40%. Further, CA induced apoptosis by cell cycle G2/M phase arrest and cell apoptosis rate was 25.1%, which related to the up-regulation of of Bax and the down-regulation of Bcl-2. CA inhibited the expression of RPS7 and overexpression of RPS7 promoted cell proliferation and suppressed apoptosis in CA-mediated cells. Conclusion CA inhibits cell growth, metastasis, and induces cell apoptosis by downregulating the expression of RPS7.

Objective To investigate the changes in the expression of complement C3,high mobility group protein B1(HMGB1),and glutathione peroxidase 4(GPX4)in brain tissue at different time points after cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats.Methods A total 72 SPF male SD rats were randomly divided into a sham operation group(36 rats)and a model group(36 rats).A rat model of middle cerebral artery occlusion was established using thread occlusion,and then the rats from the model group were further assigned into 4 subgroups with reperfusion time for 3,6 and 24 h and 3 d,respectively,with 9 rats in each subgroup.Zea Longa scoring was used to assess neu-rological function.R2StarMap imaging,diffusion-weighted imaging(DWI),T1 weighted imaging,and T2 weighted imaging were performed on all the rats.The volume of abnormal DWI signals were detected and the volume of cerebral infarction was measured.The original R2StarMap images were post-processed to generate R2*pseudo color images,and then the R2*values of the areas with blood supply from bilateral middle cerebral artery were measured to detect iron deposition in the brain.The protein expression of C3,HMGB1,and GPX4 was detected by Western blotting.Results The sham operation group showed no neurological damage,while the model group had a significant increase in neurological function scores at 3,6 and 24 h and 3 d after modeling when compared to the sham surgery group(P＜0.05).While the size of right cerebral infarct was in-creased significantly at 3,6 and 24 h and 3 d in the rats of the model group(P＜0.05).The R2*value of the area with blood supply from the right middle cerebral artery in the model group was significantly higher than that in the left side at 3,6 and 24 h and 3 d(P＜0.05,P＜0.01),and it was also obviously higher than that in the right side of the sham operation group at these time points(P＜0.05,P＜0.01).The R2*ratio of the right and left blood supply areas in the model group at 3,6 and 24 h and 3 d was also statistically higher than that in the sham operation group at corresponding time points(1.82±0.82 vs 1.12±0.31,P＜0.05;1.31±0.26 vs 1.04±0.14,P＜0.05;1.94±0.74 vs 1.06±0.10,P＜0.01;1.99±0.39 vs 1.02±0.11,P＜0.01).Compared with the sham operation group,the expression levels of C3 and HMGB1 was significantly increased in the model group at 3,6 and 24 h and 3 d,while that of GPX4 was notably reduced(P＜0.01).Conclu-sion Cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury impairs the neurological function of rats and signifi-cantly affects the cerebral expression of complement C3,HMGB1,and GPX4.

Objective To investigate the clinical and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)features of Trousseau's syndrome(TS)with acute cerebral infarction,so as to improve the accuracy of diagnosis of this disease.Methods Fifty-three cases of TS with clinically confirmed acute multiple brain infarction(AMBI)and 52 cases of TS without AMBI were enrolled,and the head MRI,primary tumor imaging and clinical data of the patients were retrospectively analyzed.The clinical and MRI features and thrombus types of the 2 groups were compared.Results There were significant differences in the types of thrombus between the 2 groups(P=0.001),while there were no significant differences in gender,age,whether they had hypertension,diabetes mellitus,hyperlipidemia,basic cardiovascular diseases or not,preventive medication use,abnormal coagulation function,or D-dimer level(all P＞0.05).The primary tumor type of 105 TS patients was mainly adenocarcinoma.MRI of the head of 53 TS with AMBI patients showed that the distribution area of acute and subacute infarct foci was bilateral anterior circulation in 16 cases,bilateral anterior circulation+bilateral posterior circulation in 17 cases,bilateral anterior circulation+unilateral posterior circulation in 4 cases,and unilateral anterior circulation in 16 cases.Enhancement scans were performed in 23 cases,of which 11 cases showed some infarct foci appeared enhanced and 12 cases did not show significant enhancement.Twenty-eight cases did not show meaningful stenosis of the cerebral arteries,4 cases showed stenosis occlusion of the cerebral arteries,and all lesions did not conform to cerebrovascular distribution.Twenty-four cases of arterial thrombosis(10 cases of carotid artery thrombosis,3 cases of lower-extremity arterial thrombosis,5 cases of cerebral arterial ring thrombosis,1 cases of pulmonary artery thrombosis,1 case of renal artery thrombosis,and 4 cases of subclavian artery thrombosis)and 3 cases of venous thrombosis(deep vein thrombosis of the lower extremities)were found among the patients with visualized thrombosis.The D-dimer level was increased in different degrees.Conclusion Multiple speckled and patchy acute anterior and posterior cerebral infarcts involving bilateral cerebral and cerebellar cortex,subcortical areas and hemi-oval centers with lesions not conforming to cerebrovascular distribution are the characteristic manifestations of MRI of the head in the combination of malignant tumors with TS.Adenocarcinoma is the main malignant tumor,and the combination of D-dimer index can improve the accuracy of diagnosis.
