1.Bibliometric analysis of hot topics and trends in thyroid cancer nursing research at home and abroad from 2004 to 2023

Objective:To analyze the hotspots and trends in thyroid cancer nursing research from 2004 to 2023 at home and abroad through bibliometric methods, so as to provide references and ideas for future research in this field.Methods:A systematic search was conducted for core journal documents on thyroid cancer nursing research included in China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Database, VIP Chinese Journal Network and Web of Science Core Collection from January 1, 2004 to December 31, 2023, using CiteSpace6. 3.R1 software performs visual analysis.Results:A total of 119 domestic documents and 417 international documents were included for analysis. From 2004 to 2023, the number of publications in the field of thyroid cancer nursing research at home and abroad showed an upward trend. Domestic research hotspots mainly include four directions: perioperative nursing, symptom nursing, care for radioactive iodine-131 treatment, and physical and mental health promotion. Foreign research hotspots mainly include three directions: nursing practice exploration and guideline formulation, care for radioactive iodine-131 treatment, and quality of life.Conclusions:The field of thyroid cancer nursing has received continuous attention from scholars at home and abroad. In future research, it is recommended that domestic scholars actively carry out cross-institutional and multi-center team cooperation in accordance with local needs, focus on the research of physical and mental care and health promotion of thyroid cancer patients at different survival stages, and the construction of clinical nursing guidelines. With the help of core research institutions and expert teams, actively promote the development of high-quality nursing research in this field.

Objective:This study aims to analyze the trends,hotspots,and interrelations in research on retroperito-neal tumors through bibliometric methods,providing the latest scientific information support for clinicians and research-ers.Methods:Data were sourced from the SCI-expanded database of the Web of Science Core Collection,covering the period from 2004 to 2023.Statistical analysis and visualization of the number of publications,total citations,average citations per article,countries,institutions,journals,and keywords were conducted using Microsoft Excel 2019,VOS-viewer,and CiteSpace.Results:A total of 6,842 relevant articles were retrieved,with a total of 113 753 citations and an average of 16.63 citations per article.The number of publications had been increasing annually,peaking in 2022.The United States,China,and Japan are the major research countries,with the United States contributing the most.Memo-rial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center are the leading research in-stitutions.The journal with the most publications was the Cureus Journal of Medical Science.Gronchi Alessandro was the most prolific author.The ain keywords were"Management","Surgery",and"Tumor",and the most cited papers focus on surgery and multicenter studies.Conclusion:Research on retroperitoneal tumors is increasing annually,with hot-spots focusing on treatment methods and prognosis analysis.The United States is the main contributor to this field,with significant international collaboration.Future research should further explore the pathogenesis of retroperitoneal tumors and more effective treatment strategies.

4.Comparison of clinical characteristics between primary bilateral macronodular adrenal hyperplasia and adrenal cortisol-producing adenoma

Objective To comparatively analyze the clinical characteristics of primary bilateral macronodular adrenal hyperplasia(PBMAH)and adrenal cortisol-producing Adenoma(CPA),and enhance the understanding of two diseases.Methods The clinical data of 85 PBMAH patients(PBMAH group)and 195 CPA patients(CPA group)diagnosed at Department of Endocrinology,the First Medical Center of Chinese PLA General Hospital,from September 2014 to August 2024 were retrospectively analyzed.The demographic characteristics,comorbidities,biochemical indicators,adrenocorticotropic hormone-cortisol(ACTH-F)levels,and adrenal imaging features and treatment conditions were compared between the two groups.Results(1)General characteristics:Compared with CPA group,PBMAH group had older age at diagnosis and a higher proportion of male patients.(2)Clinical characteristics:Compared with CPA group,PBMAH group had a longer disease duration,a higher proportion of subclinical Cushing's syndrome(CS),and a higher proportion of hypertension,impaired glucose tolerance/diabetes,bone mass reduction or osteoporosis,with higher serum potassium levels,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).(3)Hormone levels:Both PBMAH and CPA groups showed ACTH-F rhythm disorder,significantly increased cortisol levels and suppressed ACTH.Compared with PBMAH group,CPA group had stronger autonomous cortisol secretion ability,manifested by increased midnight serum cortisol(F0:00),16:00 serum cortisol(F16:00),24-hour urinary free cortisol(24 h UFC)levels and lower 8:00 serum ACTH(ACTH8:00)and 16:00 serum ACTH(ACTH16:00)(P<0.01).After low-dose dexamethasone suppression test(LDDST),CPA group showed lower suppression rates of ACTH and cortisol,and higher proportions of paradoxical elevation in serum cortisol and 24 h UFC compared with PBMAH(P<0.01).Conclusions PBMAH has a longer disease course and higher proportions of comorbid metabolic disorders than CPA,mostly manifested as subclinical Cushing's syndrome.CPA has stronger autonomous cortisol secretion ability,with cortisol less likely to be suppressed after LDDST and more obvious paradoxical elevation of cortisol and 24 h UFC.

Objective To characterize multimodal metabolic disorders in subclinical Cushing's syndrome(SCS)patients with different cortisol levels,providing a reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 165 SCS patients diagnosed at the First Medical Center of Chinese PLA General Hospital due to adrenal masses from January 2014 to October 2024.Using the serum cortisol levels after the midnight 1 mg dexamethasone suppression test(1 mg DST)as the cut-off point,SCS patients were divided into high-level group(1 mg DST-F>138 nmol/L,n=96)and low-level group(50 nmol/L<1 mg DST-F≤138 nmol/L,n=69).The differences in age,gender,body mass index(BMI),blood pressure,glucolipid metabolism indices,electrolytes,hormone levels,and imaging features of adrenal adenoma(such as CT values)were compared between the two groups.Multivariate linear regression was used to analyze the correlation between CT values and metabolic indices.Results Compared with low-level group,patients in high-level group were younger(54.0±11.3 vs.57.7±10.3,P=0.034),while there were no statistically significant differences in gender ratio or BMI between the two groups(P>0.05).Both groups exhibited decreased adrenocorticotropic hormone(ACTH)levels and disrupted circadian rhythm.Compared with low-level group,high-level group showed significantly higher F0:00 levels[250.00(170.07,422.53)nmol/L vs.110.00(82.74,133.90)nmol/L]and 24-hour urinary free cortisol(24 h UFC)[568.40(377.80,875.45)nmol/24 h vs.369.40(265.40,494.69)nmol/24 h](P<0.001),with no significant differences in serum F8:00,or 1 mg DST ACTH0:00 levels(P>0.05).Except for the fasting C-peptide level in the high-level group being higher than that in low-level group[(2.88±1.01)ng/ml vs.(2.46±0.78)ng/ml,P=0.024],there were no significant differences in blood pressure,blood lipids,glycated hemoglobin(HbA1c),fasting blood glucose,fasting insulin,serum electrolytes,uric acid,and other indices between the two groups(P>0.05).The CT value of adrenal adenoma during contrast-enhanced scanning was higher in high-level group[80.00(17.80,93.00)Hu vs.52.00(35.50,75.00)Hu,P=0.006]compared with low-level group.Multivariate linear regression analysis revealed that diastolic blood pressure was positively correlated with CT values of adrenal adenomas in both plain scanning(β=0.49,95%CI 0.09-0.90)and contrast-enhanced scanning(β=2.08,95%CI 0.76-3.39),while triglyceride levels were negatively correlated with plain scanning CT values(β=-5.77,95%CI-10.88--0.66).Conclusion Patients with SCS at different cortisol levels differ in age,fasting C-peptide levels,and CT values.CT values may serve as potential imaging markers to assess metabolic risk in SCS patients.

Objective To investigate the status of population dynamics and distribution changes of Aedes aegypti in Guangdong Province.Methods Continuous monitoring was conducted from May 2018 to July 2024 in Wushi Town and Qishui Town,Leizhou City,Zhanjiang City,Guangdong Province.Additionally,a survey of the distribution of Ae.aegypti along the Leizhou Peninsula coast was carried out.Results The density of Ae.aegypti in Zhanjiang showed a gradual decline from 2018 to 2024.The last detection of adult Ae.aegypti in Wushi Town was in September 2021,and the last larva was found in October 2023.No Ae.aegypti was detected in Qishui Town during surveys from 2021 to 2024.A survey of 18 coastal villages in the Leizhou Peninsula revealed no detections of Ae.aegypti.Conclusions This study provides a basis for understanding the distribution and population density fluctuations of Ae.aegypti,assessing its invasion risk,and scientifically conducting relevant prevention and control efforts.

8.Co-word cluster analysis of hotspots on self-management of patients with chronic heart failure at home and abroad in the past decade

Objective:To analyze and discuss the current status, hotspots and development dynamics of self-management in chronic heart failure (CHF) patients at home and abroad based on China National Knowledge Infrastructure and Web of Science databases.Methods:Literature on self-management of CHF patients was searched in China National Knowledge Infrastructure and Web of Science. The search period was from January 1, 2014 to May 31, 2024. Keyword cluster analysis was performed using Cite Space 6.3.R1 software.Results:A total of 411 articles in Chinese and 878 articles in English were included. In the past ten years, the annual publication volume of English literature was generally even, and the distribution trend of annual publication volume of Chinese literature showed an upward and then a downward trend. The hotspots of self-management of CHF patients in the Chinese literature mainly focused on health education, self-efficacy, and disease prognosis, and the hotspots of self-management of CHF patients in the English literature mainly focused on quality of life, disease management, and self-care.Conclusions:Analyzing the current status, hotspots and developmental dynamics of self-management in CHF patients can provide a reference for how to effectively promote self-management in CHF patients and conduct related research in the future.

Objective To understand the current situation of healthcare-associated infection(HAI)in China,pro-vide data support and decision-making basis for formulating scientific and effective strategies for HAI prevention and control.Methods A nationwide cross-sectional survey on HAI was conducted among various types and levels of medical institutions in China according to a unified protocol of bedside surveys and case investigations.Results In 2024,a total of 5 736 medical institutions and 2 751 765 patients were surveyed.Among them,34 889 HAI cases were identified,with a prevalence rate of 1.27%.The number of HAI episodes was 38 032,and case prevalence rate was 1.38%.The prevalence rate of HAI in medical institutions in different regions of China ranged from 0.66%to 2.35%.Among medical institutions of different scales,those with a bed capacity of ≥900 had the high-est incidence of HAI,reaching 1.65%.The most common infection site was the lower respiratory tract(44.66%),followed by the urinary tract(12.94%),surgical site(9.32%),upper respiratory tract(7.02%),and bloodstream infection(5.78%).The top 3 departments with the highest HAI rates were the general intensive care unit(10.02%),department of neurosurgery(5.51%),and department(group)of hematology(5.34%).A total of 23 238 strains of HAI pathogens were detected,with 10 714 strains(46.10%)from lower respiratory tract speci-mens.The top 5 detected strains were Klebsiella pneumoniae(14.76%),Pseudomonas aeruginosa(13.33%),Escherichia coli(12.79%),Acinetobacter baumannii(9.23%),and Staphylococcus aureus(7.88%).231 944 pa-tients underwent class Ⅰ incision surgery were monitored,with 1 647 cases experienced surgical site infection,and the prevalence rate of surgical site infection was 0.71%.The number of patients who should undergo pathogen de-tection(patients receiving therapeutic and therapeutic combined prophylactic antimicrobial agents)was 715 179,while the actual number was 480 492,with a pathogen detection rate of 67.18%.425 225 patients received patho-genic detection before treatment,with a detection rate of 59.46%.Conclusion The overall HAI prevalence in Chi-na is lower,showing disparities among medical institutions of different regions and scales.Therefore,precise imple-mentation of measures is necessary for HAI prevention and control,with a focus on high-risk institutions and high-risk departments,key areas,and critical procedures.All levels of medical institutions should continuously reduce the incidence of HAI by strengthening monitoring,standardizing the use of antimicrobial agents,and reinforcing basic HAI prevention and control measures.
10.Automatic Measurement Method for Spatial Resolution of MRI Based on the ACR Phantom

Purpose To measure the spatial resolution in MRI quality control testing automatically based on the American College of Radiology(ACR)phantom using the support vector machine(SVM)method,and the feasibility,accuracy and measurement speed of this method are explored.Materials and Methods Quality control tests were performed using eight MRI devices at Beijing Friendship Hospital of Capital Medical University.A retrospective study was conducted on 71 MRI quality control test images collected based on ACR phantoms between 2017 and 2019.The images were preprocessed by binarization,extraction region of interest and so on.An SVM-based classification model was constructed for analyzing the spatial resolution of dot arrays in row and column directions.The dataset was randomly split into a training set and a test set.The generalization performance of the classification model in this study was evaluated through accuracy,precision,recall and F1 score on the test set.Comparing the results of spatial resolution measurements obtained by both manual and automatic method,we demonstrated the feasibility and accuracy of the method.Additionally,the time taken for the automatic spatial resolution measurement was recorded.Results In this study,the proposed method of automatically measuring the spatial resolution of ACR phantom test images using SVM was feasible,high accuracy and short time.In classification performance test,the accuracy of the spatial resolution of the row directional latices was 95%,the precision was 100%.The accuracy of the spatial resolution of the column directional latices was 97%,the precision was 100%.Among the test cases,the results of automatic measurements matched those of manual measurements in 13 out of 14 cases.On average,automatic spatial resolution measurement took 0.158 seconds per case.Conclusion This study achieves automatic measurement of spatial resolution in MRI quality control based on the ACR phantom using SVM method.The method demonstrates high accuracy and fast measurement speeds,holding significant implications for future rapid MRI quality control stability testing.
