This paper systematically summarizes the practical experience of the 2025 Dingri earthquake emergency medical rescue in Tibet. It analyzes the requirements for earthquake medical rescue under conditions of high-altitude hypoxia, low temperature, and low air pressure. The paper provides a detailed discussion on the strategic layout of earthquake medical rescue at the national level, local government level, and through social participation. It covers the construction of rescue organizational systems, technical systems, material support systems, and information systems. The importance of building rescue teams is emphasized. In high-altitude and cold conditions, rapid response, scientific decision-making, and multi-party collaboration are identified as key elements to enhance rescue efficiency. By optimizing rescue organizational structures, strengthening the development of new equipment, and promoting telemedicine technologies, the precision and effectiveness of medical rescue can be significantly improved, providing important references for future similar disaster rescues.

OBJECTIVE To optimize the extraction process of organic acids from Angelica sinensis using deep eutectic solvents (DESs), and conduct characterization, antioxidant activity evaluation, and extraction mechanism analysis. METHODS The conductor-like screening model for realistic solvation with segment activity coefficients (COSMO-SAC) was employed to screen the types of DESs. With total organic acid content as the response value, single-factor experiments and Box-Behnken response-surface methodology were used to optimize the extraction conditions. Using A. sinensis decoction pieces and/or A. sinensis methanol extract as references, scanning electron microscope and Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR) were applied to characterize the products. Additionally, the 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and 2,2′-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6- sulfonic acid) (ABTS) free radical scavenging capacities were determined. Density functional theory (DFT) was used to analyze the extraction mechanism of ferulic acid and chlorogenic acid by the DESs. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS The optimal DESs was choline chloride-propanediol. The optimal extraction conditions for organic acids from A. sinensis were as follows: choline chloride- propanediol molar ratio of 1∶1, DESs water content of 70%, solid-liquid ratio of 1∶10, heating temperature of 57 ℃, and heating and stirring time of 8 min. In three validation experiments, the total organic acid content was 2.92 mg/g, yielding a relative error of 0.34% compared to the predicted value (2.91 mg/g). Compared with A. sinensis decoction pieces and methanol extracts, the agglomerated structure of the DESs extract powder almost disappeared, showing the presence of lamellar structures similar to those of the intestinal wall. Compared with the methanol extract, the DES extract exhibited higher FTIR characteristic peak intensity and peak area integration, as well as stronger scavenging capacities against DPPH and ABTS free radicals. The extraction of organic acids from A. sinensis by DESs is the result of the combined effects of polarity matching, hydrogen bonding, and structural adaptation.

OBJECTIVE:
To analyze the effect of altitude on NIH-CPSI score in patients with chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome(CP/CPPS) Methods: Clinical data and the results of NIH-CPSI Questionnaire of the 321 patients with CP/CPPS at different altitudes were collected from March 2021 to March 2022. And the influence of altitudes on NIH-CPSI score of CP/CPPS was analyzed.
RESULT:
The NIH-CPSI score of patients living at an altitude of 4 300 m was significantly higher than that of patients living at an altitude of 1 500 m and 2 200 m. The CP/CPPS patients who lived in the higher altitude had more severe symptoms of pain and urination as well as lower scores of life quality (P<0.05).
CONCLUSION
NIH-CPSI score increased significantly with higher altitude, indicating more severe symptoms and decreased quality of life in CP/CPPS patients. These findings highlight the need for management strategies for specific heights in patients with CP/CPPS.

Journal of Geriatric Cardiology 2025;22(4):433-442
BACKGROUND:
The clinical impact of post-percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) quantitative flow ratio (QFR) in patients treated with PCI for chronic total occlusion (CTO) was still undetermined.
METHODS:
All CTO vessels treated with successful anatomical PCI in patients from PANDA III trial were retrospectively measured for post-PCI QFR. The primary outcome was 2-year vessel-oriented composite endpoints (VOCEs, composite of target vessel-related cardiac death, target vessel-related myocardial infarction, and ischemia-driven target vessel revascularization). Receiver operator characteristic curve analysis was conducted to identify optimal cutoff value of post-PCI QFR for predicting the 2-year VOCEs, and all vessels were stratified by this optimal cutoff value. Cox proportional hazards models were employed to calculate the hazard ratio (HR) with 95% CI.
RESULTS:
Among 428 CTO vessels treated with PCI, 353 vessels (82.5%) were analyzable for post-PCI QFR. 31 VOCEs (8.7%) occurred at 2 years. Mean value of post-PCI QFR was 0.92 ± 0.13. Receiver operator characteristic curve analysis shown the optimal cutoff value of post-PCI QFR for predicting 2-year VOCEs was 0.91. The incidence of 2-year VOCEs in the vessel with post-PCI QFR < 0.91 (n = 91) was significantly higher compared with the vessels with post-PCI QFR ≥ 0.91 (n = 262) (22.0% vs. 4.2%, HR = 4.98, 95% CI: 2.32-10.70).
CONCLUSIONS
Higher post-PCI QFR values were associated with improved prognosis in the PCI practice for coronary CTO. Achieving functionally optimal PCI results (post-PCI QFR value ≥ 0.91) tends to get better prognosis for patients with CTO lesions.

Objective:To evaluate the gene mutation profile and prognostic significance of adult cytogenetically normal acute myeloid leukemia (CN-AML) with CEBPA-bZIP mutation. Methods:Targeted sequencing was implemented on the diagnostic bone marrow DNA samples of 141 adult CN-AML subjects with CEBPA-bZIP mutation. The nomogram model for leukemia-free survival (LFS) rate was generated by combining genetic abnormalities and clinical data. Risk stratification was conducted based on prognostic variables and the effect of risk-adjusted consolidation therapy was investigated by Kaplan-Meier method. Results:Four variables were finally included in our nomogram model after multivariate Cox analysis, and an equation for risk score calculation was obtained, risk score=1.3002×white blood cell (WBC) (≥18.77×109/L)+1.4065×CSF3R mutation positive+2.6489×KMT2A mutation positive+1.0128×DNA methylation-related genes mutation positive. According to the nomogram model, patients were further divided into low-risk group (score=0,n=46) and high-risk group (score>0,n=95). Prognostic analysis showed that the 5-year LFS rate,5-year overall survival (OS) rate, and 5-year cumulative incidence of relapse (CIR) of patients who received allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) in the high-risk group were 93.5%,97.1%,and 3.5%,while those in patients who received maintenance chemotherapy were 32.9%,70.5%,and 63.4%,respectively. The differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). Allo-HSCT could significantly improve the prognosis of patients in high-risk group. However,no corresponding benefit was observed in the low-risk group. Conclusion:Adult CN-AML with CEBPA-bZIP mutation has a complex co-mutation pattern. The nomogram model based on mutations of CFS3R,KMT2A and DNA methylation-related genes together with WBC count can further divide this subset of patients into a relatively low-risk group and a relatively high-risk group. For individuals in the high-risk group,allo-HSCT is proposed as post-remission therapy. The above data will benefit the prognosis estimation and treatment decision for adult CN-AML with CEBPA-bZIP mutation.
