Objective:
To explore the effect of C1q / tumor necrosis factor-related protein 9 ( CTRP9 ) on the expression of genes and proteins related to lipid metabolism of brown adipose tissue (BAT) in mice after cold stimulation.
Methods :
C57BL /6J male mice were injected with adenovirus Ad-GFP (control group) or Ad-CTRP9 ( experience group) into the scapular region and kept for 7 days. After cold stimulation at 4 ℃ for 10 hours, the expression levels of BAT marker genes and proteins were detected by real time PCR and Western blot.
Results:
Overexpression of CTRP9 induced by cold stimulation significantly increased the mRNA level of iodothyronine deiodinase 2 (Dio2) in BAT (P<0. 01) .Additionally, there was no significant difference in the expression of BAT marker genes ( UCP-1,PGC-1 α , PRDM16 and ARβ3) ,and liposynthesis and lipolysis related genes (PPARγ , HSL and ATGL) .Uncoupling protein 1 (UCP-1) protein expression was upregualted in Ad-CTRP9 compared to the Ad-GFP control group ,while the expression of lipolysis related protein adipose triglyceride lipase ( ATGL) decreased significantly (P<0. 05) .
Conclusion
In cold environment, overexpression of CTRP9 promotes the accumulation of UCP-1 protein in BAT,upregulates the expression of thyroid hormone signal related gene Dio2,and inhibits triglyceride hydrolysis to maintain a constant body temperature.

Objective To analyze medication compliance and intervention measures of patients with schizophrenia inWeifang City, and to provide theoretical basis for improving medication compliance of discharged patients with schizophrenia. Methods Atotal of 379 schizophrenic patients discharged from our hospital from January 2020 to December 2020 were selected . According to the medication compliance Evaluation Scale (MARS) score one year after discharge, the patients were divided into good medication compliance group (n=284) and poor medication compliance group (n=95).The SDS scores, SAS scores, RBANS scores and MMAS scores were compared between the two groups. Pearson single factor analysis scores were used to analyze the correlation between medication compliance and SDS scores, SAS scores, RBANS scores and MMAS scores. Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the independent factors affecting medication compliance of schizophrenia patients. Results SDS score, SAS score and MMAS score of poor compliance group were significantly higher than those of good compliance group (P<0.05). The scores of immediate memory and delayed memory in good compliance group were significantly higher than those in poor compliance group (P<0.05). For each item, the scores of story repetition, vocabulary learning, number span, vocabulary recognition, vocabulary recall and graph recall in the good compliance group were significantly higher than those in the poor compliance group (P<0.05). According to Pearson correlation analysis, SDS score, SAS score, story repetition score, vocabulary recall score, RBANS total score were correlated with MARS score (P<0.05). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that SDS score, SAS score, vocabulary recall and RBANS were independent factors affecting medication compliance in schizophrenia patients (P<0.05). Conclusions The medication compliance of discharged schizophrenic patients in Weifang city is correlated with negative emotion. It is necessary to improve the negative emotion of patients, improve the cognitive function of patients and improve the medication compliance of discharged schizophrenic patients.

International Eye Science 2022;22(3):521-524
AIM: To characterize a large cohort of patients presenting to the Department of Ophthalmology in Hunan Children39;s Hospital for ocular trauma, thus to offer supports for treatment and prevention of ocular trauma in children.
METHODS:The retrospective study was conducted between January 2016 and December 2020, and the medical recorded of 2 298 children(2 332 eyes)diagnosed with ocular trauma in the Ophthalmology Department and Ophthalmic Emergency of Hunan Children39;s Hospital were reviewed. The record data included gender, age, wounded eye, time of day, injury month, cause of injury, zone of injury, types of ocular injury, complications, method of treatment and prognosis of visual acuity.
RESULTS: The results showed that 44.26% of ocular trauma occurred in the age of 3-6 years old in children, and 1 718 cases(1 745 eyes)in male children versus 580 cases(587 eyes)in female children, with a male to female ratio of 2.96:1.00. The high incidence months were February and November for pediatric ocular injury. Collisions and falls were the main causes, accounting for 40.95%, following with blunt object injury and sharp object injury, accounting for 40.82%. Eyelid and other accessory organs were the main injury sites(65.40%). After injury, 58.62% of the children were treated with debridement, primary closure or topical administration of eye drops, 38.38% were treated with debridement and suturing, and 3.00% were treated with complex intraocular surgery. Most children patients were difficult to cooperate with the vision examination. Among the children who completed the vision examination, 60.60% showed visual impaired due to eye trauma. And after treatment, their vision improved to varying degrees. The severe impairment of visual acuity was mainly caused by corneal contusion, traumatic cataract, vitreous hemorrhage, bulbar foreign body and rupture of eyeball.
CONCLUSION: Pediatric ocular injuries are usually accidental, with an increasing incidence in recent years. The majority of children with ocular trauma are male and preschool children, with generally mild injuries and relatively good visual prognosis. Prevention and education on children39;s ocular traumas should be emphasized, and timely treatments after injury can effectively reduce the visual damage.

[Abstract] Objective: To explore the mechanism of TRIM21 regulating the proliferation of ovarian cancer cells and the resistance of PARP inhibitors by activating Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway. Methods: Eight pairs of ovarian cancer tissues and cervical epithelial tissues that surgically removed at Yan39;an People39;s Hospital from January 2018 to January 2019 were collected for this study. And the tissues were classified into resistant group and non-resistant group (4 case/group) according to whether the patients were resistant to PARP inhibitor (nilapanib). Ovarian cancer cell lines CAOV3, SKOV3, OVCAR3, ES-2, HO8910, A2780 and OV2008 were also collected for this study. qPCR and Western blotting (WB) were used to detect the expression levels of TRIM21 and β-catenin in the above mentioned tissues and cell lines. Cell lines with TRIM21 overexpression and knockdown were constructed. CCK-8 method was used to detect the proliferation activity of ovarian cancer cells in each group, TOP/FOP dual luciferase assay was used to detect the effect of TRIM21 on Wnt signaling pathway activation, qPCR and WB were used to detect the effect of TRIM21 on mRNA and protein
levels of β-catenin, which was further verified by Wnt pathway inhibitor XAV-939. Results: The expression level of TRIM21 in ovarian cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in cervical epithelial tissues (P<0.01), and its expression was more higher in the drug-resistant tissues (P<0.01). TRIM21 expression was the highest in ES-2 cells but comparatively low in CAOV3 and A270 cells (all
P<0.01). After TRIM21 knockdown, the expression of TRIM21 in ES-2 cells was significantly decreased, and the cell proliferation was significantly reduced (all P<0.01). After overexpressing TRIM21, the proliferative capacity of ovarian cancer CAOV3 cells was significantly increased (P<0.01), and the antitumor effect of nilaparib was inhibited; TRIM21 overexpression could regulate Wnt/β -catenin pathway activation, while β -catenin knockdown or Wnt/β -catenin inhibitor XAV-939 could significantly reverse the effect of TRIM21 in ovarian cancer. Conclusion: TRIM21 can enhance the proliferation of ovarian cancer cells via regulating Wnt/β-catenin pathway, it plays a certain role in the process of drug resistance of PARP inhibitor nilapani.
