Spine fracture and dislocation are common traumatic spinal conditions that often require surgical intervention due to compromised spinal stability. Surgical approaches include anterior, posterior, and combined anterior-posterior spinal procedures. According to the specific surgical requirements, patients may be placed in the prone position or repositioned between prone and supine positions during surgery. Intraoperative repositioning has become an essential step in patient positioning. However, during repositioning, patients with spinal fracture and dislocation are at increased risk for complications such as hemodynamic instability, nerve injury, and pressure injuries to the skin and soft tissue. Notably, due to the instability of the spinal cord, even minor manipulations can further exacerbate the damage, potentially leading to severe outcomes like paraplegia. Although the current clinical guidelines provide instructive recommendations for standard position, there remains no specific protocols for intraoperative repositioning in patients with spine fracture and dislocation. With a concern for the lack of clinical studies on positioning techniques, risk prevention, and operational norms for special patients, no applicable guidelines or standards are available. A consensus was required to provide clinical reference, meet the requirements of surgical treatment, and minimize the safety risks of patients caused by improper placement of positions. Professional Committee of Operating Room Nursing of Shaanxi Nursing Association organized experts in nursing management and operating room nursing from major hospitals across China to formulate Expert consensus on intraoperative repositioning for patients with spinal fracture and dislocation ( version 2025). The consensus provides 11 recommendations covering pre-repositioning preparation, intraoperative maneuvers, and post-repositioning observation, aiming to provide references for clinical standardization of the intraoperative repositioning process and protection of patients′ safety.

Objective To analyze the changes in optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) parameters in patients with essential hypertension, and to explore the effect of blood pressure on OCTA parameters. Methods A total of 164 patients with essential hypertension were selected and divided into controlled blood pressure group (n=92) and uncontrolled blood pressure group (n=72). OCTA examination was performed on the optic disc and macula of all patients, and the right eyes were selected for analysis. Results There were no significant differences in retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) thickness, radial peripapillary capillary (RPC) total vascular density, RPC total small vessel density, perifovea superficial capillary plexus (SCP) vascular density, and perifovea deep capillary plexus (DCP) vascular density between the two groups of patients. There were no significant differences in foveal avascular zone (FAZ) area, FAZ diameter, and fovea retinal thickness between the two groups of patients. The density of the parafovea SCP, parafovea DCP, and fractal dimension (FD) in the uncontrolled blood pressure group were significantly lower than those in the controlled blood pressure group (P<0.05). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that elevation of blood pressure was a independently related factor of reduced parafovea DCP density (P=0.026), while there was no correlation between the uncontrolled blood pressure and parafovea SCP density and FD level. Conclusions The blood pressure level is correlated with the parafovea DCP density, while has no correlation with other OCTA parameters in hypertension patients.

This study aims to investigate the function of lmo2363 gene in stress resistance of Liste-ria monocytogenes strain LM83-1.In this study, the lmo2363 gene deletion strain and complement-ation strain of Listeria monocytogenes were constructed using overlapping extended PCR and ho-mologous recombination techniques, and the growth ability, stress survival rate and biofilm forma-tion ability of wild, deletion strain and complementation strain were compared under different stress environments.lmo2363 gene deletion strain and complementation strain of Listeria monocy-togenes were successfully constructed in this experiment. The growth curves showed that the growth capacity of the deletion strain was weaker than the wild strain LM83-1 under 4 ℃,7%NaCl,10%NaCl,3.5%ethanol,4.0%ethanol and pH5 stress(P<0.001).The results of stress survival test showed that the survival rate of the deletion strain was significantly lower than the wild strain after 1 h treatment with pH3 and 10 mmol/L H2 O2 stress(P<0.010).The biofilm forming ability of the deletion strain was decreased compared with that of the wild strain(P<0.050).This study confirmed that lmo2363 gene mediated the adaptation of LM to low temperature, high osmotic pressure, ethanol and acid stress environment and affected the formation of LM bio-film.This study laid a foundation for further exploring the function of lmo2363 gene in the stress resistance process of Listeria monocytogenes.

Objective:To analyze the correlation between serum leptin (LEP), adiponectin (ADP) levels and bone metabolism indexes in pregnant GDM women complicated with osteoporosis. Methods:A total of 120 GDM patients admitted to our hospital from Dec. 2020 to Dec. 2023 were included as the observation group, and 30 healthy pregnant women were chosen as the control group. The levels of serum LEP, ADP, bone metabolism indexes [parathyroid hormone (PTH), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), 25-hydroxyvitamin D, amino terminal and middle osteocalcin (N-MID) ] were compared. The relationship between serum LEP, ADP and PTH, ALP, 25-hydroxyvitamin D and N-MID was analyzed by Pearson correlation, and receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) was drawn to evaluate the diagnostic value of serum LEP and ADP levels in gestational diabetes mellitus complicated with osteoporosis. Results:The observation group had higher LEP level, but lower ADP, PTH, 25-hydroxyvitamin D and N-MID level ( t=10.08, 7.19, 12.70, 15.05, 20.54, P<0.05), and there was no significant difference in ALP between the two groups ( t=0.78, P>0.05) ; 25 had osteoporosis and 95 did not. LEP levels in the osteoporosis subgroup were significantly higher than those in the non-osteoporosis subgroup, and ADP, PTH, 25-hydroxyvitamin D and N-MID levels were significantly lower ( t=4.44, 3.06, 3.51, 3.18, 3.00, P<0.05). There was no significant difference in ALP level between the two groups ( t=0.38, P>0.05). Pearson correlation analysis showed that serum LEP and ADP were significantly correlated with PTH, 25-hydroxyvitamin D and N-MID in pregnant GDM women ( P<0.05). The area under the curve (AUC) of serum LEP, ADP and combined test in pregnant GDM women complicated with osteoporosis were 0.723, 0.650 and 0.755, respectively. Conclusion:Serum LEP level increases and ADP level decreases significantly in pregnant GDM women complicated with osteoporosis, which is closely related to bone metabolism indexes, and can assist in early diagnosis of gestational diabetes mellitus complicated with osteoporosis.

ObjectiveTo explore the therapeutic effect of Huangliansan on atopic dermatitis (AD) model mice induced by 2, 4-dinitrochlorobenzene (DNCB). MethodA total of 42 male BALB/c mice were randomly divided into normal group, model group, hydrocortisone group, low, medium, and high-dose groups (0.3, 0.6, 1.2 g·kg-1) of Huangliansan oil, and water extract group (0.6 g·kg-1) of Huangliansan. In addition to the normal group, DNCB was applied on the back of mice in other groups to establish the AD model. On the 15th day after DNCB stimulation, each group was given the corresponding drug or solvent, and the changes in skin lesions, dermatitis score, and frequency of scratching were observed and recorded. Hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining was used to observe the histopathological changes in the skin and spleen. Real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction (Real-time PCR) was used to detect mRNA levels of filaggrin (FLG), lorophane (LOR), and involucrin (IVL) in skin, as well as immunoglobulin E (lgE), interleukin-4 (IL-4), interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-1β (IL-1β), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), and interferon-γ (IFN-γ) in spleen. ResultCompared with the normal group, the model group showed symptoms of skin swelling and scab, and the score of dermatitis, the frequency of scratching, and the spleen index were increased (P<0.05). The expression levels of FLG, LOR, and IVL in skin tissue were significantly decreased (P<0.01), and the mRNA expressions of IgE, IL-4, IL-6, IL-1β, and TNF-α in the spleen were significantly increased, while the expression level of IFN-γ was significantly decreased (P<0.01). Compared with the model group, the symptoms of skin erythema, scaly, and scab of mice in each drug group were alleviated to varying degrees, and the score of dermatitis, the frequency of scratching, and the spleen index were decreased (P<0.05, P<0.01). In addition, the expression levels of FLG, LOR, and IVL in the skin of mice in the drug group were increased (P<0.05, P<0.01), and the mRNA expression of IgE, IL-4, IL-6, IL-1β, and TNF-α in spleen were decreased. IFN-γ was increased (P<0.05, P<0.01), and the lesions of the skin and spleen were improved to varying degrees. The medium-dose group of Huangliansan oil and hydrocortisone group had the most obvious manifestations (P<0.05, P<0.01). The indexes in the medium-dose group of Huangliansan oil were better than those in the water extract group of Huangliansan. ConclusionHuangliansan may improve the expression level of skin barrier protein, inhibit the expression of helper T cell 2 (Th2)-related inflammatory factors, increase the expression of helper T cell 1 (Th1) inflammatory factors, restore the skin barrier function and Th1/Th2 balance in the spleen, regulate the inflammatory response in the spleen of AD mice, and thus relieve AD. Huangliansan oil is more effective than water extract.

AIM: To observe the effect ofacacia honey (AH) on serum uric acid level and renal function in potassium oxonate modelrats after drinking AH aqueous solution. METHODS: Sixty male SD rats were selected and randomly divided into control group (CON group), potassium oxonate model group (OA model group), 10% fructose group (10% F group) and different concentration honey groups (25%, 12.5% and 6.25% AH groups). All rats were fed with normal diet. The rats in CON group were subcutaneously injected with 5% sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC-Na) solution and drunk sterile water every day, while rats in other groups were injected with 100 mg / kg OA solution suspended with 5% CMC-Na subcutaneouslyand drunksterile water orfructose solution or AH solution of different concentrations every day. Before and during the 4-week test, rats were weighed and blood was taken once a week. At the end of test, urine and feces specimens or kidney tissues were collected and blood was taken from the abdominal aorta. The uric acid content in blood, urine, and feces and the levels of serum creatinine (Cre) and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) or inflammatory factors in kidney tissues were measured. Renal function and histology were evaluated. RESULTS: Compared with CON group, AH could significantly reduce the body weight of rats (P<0.05), increase the kidney organ coefficient, the levels of serum uric acid, and uric acid in urine or feces, and reduce the level of fecal uric acid (FUA) in rats. AH can down regulate the level of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-a) (P< 0.05) and up regulate the expression of monocyte chemoattractant protein 1 (MCP-1) and transforming growth factor β - 1 (TGF - β1) in rats kidneys; AH can cause slight to mild dilatation of renal tubules and mild to moderate basophilic lesions of renal rubules in rat kidney in a dose dependent manner. CONCLUSION: In the doses rang of present study, AH can cause hyperuricemia, renal tubular dilatation and basophilic lesions, and lead to renal function damage in rats.
