Objective To explore the electroencephalography(EEG)characteristics of patients with knee osteoarthritis(KOA)which are different from those of healthy subjects during dynamic balance tests, and study the connection and influence between brain activity and KOA.Methods Fifteen patients with KOA and 17 healthy subjects performed the timed up and go test(TUGT)and five times sit-to-stand test(5STS).The EEG characteristics of the 4 frequency bands, namely δ(0.5-4 Hz),θ(4-8 Hz),α(8-14 Hz)and β(14-30 Hz)of 9 electrodes including CZ,C3,C4 in the central region,PZ,P3,P4 in the parietal lobe, and OZ,O1,O2 in the occipital lobe of the cerebral cortex of the subjects were recorded.Time and frequency domain analysis were conducted. Results During 5STS,the time-domain amplitudes of electrodes C4,P3,and P4 in the δ band, electrodes C4,P3,and P4 in the θ band, and electrodes P3 and P4 in the β band of KOA patients were significantly higher than those of healthy subjects(P<0.05);the power of EEG signals of electrodes P3,P4,and O2 in the β band was significantly higher than that of healthy subjects.During TUGT,except that the time-domain amplitude of electrode PZ in the θ band of KOA patients was significantly lower than that of healthy subjects(P<0.05),there was no significant difference in all electrodes in other frequency bands;the power of EEG signals of electrodes C3,CZ,C4,PZ,P4,O1,OZ,O2 in the δ band and electrodes CZ,P3,PZ,and OZ in the α band and electrodes CZ,P4,OZ,and O2 in the β band was significantly lower than that of healthy subjects(P<0.05).Conclusions Compared with healthy subjects, the activity in the parietal lobe area of the brain of KOA patients during 5STS was stronger, while the brain activity in the central region, parietal lobe, and occipital lobe areas of KOA patients during TUGT was weaker than that of healthy subjects. This study may provide some references for clinicians in the prevention and treatment of KOA.

Objective:To observe the postoperative complications and revision rates of robot arm-assisted unicompartment arthroplasty by means of a meta-analysis.Methods:Relevant databases including Cochrane Library, PubMed, EMBASE, Wanfang, VIP, CNKI, and Web of Science were searched by computer for high-quality studies on complications and revision rates after robot arm-assisted unicompartment arthroplasty in both English and Chinese from the database establishment date to March 2021. The quality of the studies retrieved was evaluated. Relevant data including postoperative complications, infection, pain, prosthesis loosening, and revision were extracted for a meta-analysis using STATA 15.0 software. Results:A total of 16 studies were included, including one randomized controlled study, 6 case-control studies and 9 cohort studies. By the methodological index for non-randomized studies (MINORS), 7 studies scored 14 points, 3 studies 13 points, one study 12 points, 4 studies 11 points, and one study 10 points. Meta analysis showed that the total rate of complications was 2% (95% CI: 1%to 4%) . Three studies used NAVIO robot, 7 studies MAKO robot, one study NAVIO and MAKO robots, and one study Acrobot robot. Since just one study used Acrobot robot, only MAKO and NAVIO robots were included for the subgroup analysis which showed that the postoperative complication rates for NAVIO and MAKO robots were 4.0% (95% CI: -2% to 10%) and 3% (95% CI: 1% to 5%) , respectively. The incidence of postoperative pain was 0.2% (95% CI: 0.1% to 0.3%), the incidence of postoperative infection 0.5% (95% CI: 0.3% to 0.8%), the incidence of postoperative prosthesis loosening 0.5% (95% CI: 0.3% to 0.8%), and the revision rate 2% (95% CI: 1% to 2%). According to the subgroup analysis of NAVIO and MAKO robots, their revision rates were 4% (95% CI: 2% to 7%) and 2% (95% CI: 1% to 2%), respectively. Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of robot arm-assisted unicompartment arthroplasty is good, for the complications in the patients are limited and the long-term survival rate of the prosthesis is excellent.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the regulatory mechanism of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSC) on the biological profiles of KATO-III( cell lines of gastric cancer.
METHODSTranswell cubicle was applied to build the co-cultured model in non-contact style. The differences of cell proliferation and the resistance of anti-tumour drug (5-fluoropyrimidinedione, 5-FU and Cisplatin, CDDP) between co-cultured group and single cultured group were evaluated by Cell Counting Kit 8-assay(CCK-8). The invasion ability was detected by Transwell assay. The expressions of stem cell makers, apoptosis-related factors and epithelium-mesenchymal transition (EMT)-related factors were detected by RT-PCR.
RESULTSThe proliferation ability of KATO-III( cells in co-cultured group was significantly stronger than that in single cultured group. The growth rate of KATO-III( cells in co-cultured group was significantly higher than that in single cultured group after treatment of 5-FU and CDDP(P<0.05). The mRNA expression level of Bcl-2 was significantly higher in co-cultured group KATO-III( cells(P<0.05), while the mRNA expression level of Bax was significantly lower in co-cultured group KATO-III( cells(P<0.05) in comparison with those in single cultured group. As compared to KATO-III( cells in single cultured group, the number of infiltrating-membrane cells was significantly higher (37.33±5.22 vs 14.56±2.54, P<0.01) in co-cultured group, and the mRNA expression levels of Snail and N-cadherin were significantly higher in co-cultured group KATO-III( cells (P<0.05), while the mRNA expression level of E-cadherin was significantly lower in co-cultured group KATO-III( cells (P<0.05). The expressions of CD133, Nanog and Sox-2 mRNA in co-cultured group KATO-III( cells were significantly higher than those in single cultured group(P<0.05).
CONCLUSIONSIn co-cultured model sharing non-contact style, BMSC can enhance such properties of KATO-III( gastric cancer cells as the proliferation, the invasion and the chemoresistance. Furthermore, the regulatory mechanisms may be related to the increase of the expressions of some stem cell markers in gastric cancer cells.
