Swift response to public complaints is an important measure for improving grassroots governance and responding quickly to public demands. It is a vivid practice of public hospitals practicing the people-centered development concept.In 2019, a tertiary public hospital in Beijing had launched the swift response to public complaints work. In 2022, the hospital further improved the work mechanism, formulated relevant regulations within the hospital, established a special team for handling complaints immediately, and focused on the main problems reflected in the 12345 citizen service hotline work order with a problem oriented approach. A series of optimization measures had been taken, including improving the diagnosis and treatment process to meet medical needs, expand patient appeal channels and efficiently drain and resolve appeals, as well as strengthen information technology construction and innovate service models. From July 2022 to March 2024, the response rate, resolution rate, and satisfaction rate of the work orders undertaken by the hospital were all 100.00%, with a significant increase compared to 99.70%, 86.94%, and 87.44% in January June 2022. This practice had improved the hospital′s diagnosis and treatment system and medical process, enhanced the patient′s medical experience, promoted the high-quality development of the hospital, and could provide references for other hospitals to carry out the work of swift response to public complaints.

BACKGROUND:Alzheimer's disease is a degenerative neurological disorder characterized primarily by cognitive impairment.Acupuncture is a kind of traditional Chinese medicine therapy for treating Alzheimer's disease,but its mechanism is not yet clear. OBJECTIVE:To observe the effects of electroacupuncture with"Zhi San Zhen"on the Notch signaling pathway,β-amyloid protein(Aβ)and synaptic plasticity in 5xFAD mice. METHODS:Sixteen male,6-month-old 5xFAD mice,SPF-grade,were randomly divided into the electroacupuncture with"Zhi San Zhen"group(electroacupuncture group)and the model group,with eight mice in each group.Eight SPF-grade,male,6-month-old C57BL/6 mice were used as the wild control(wild)group.The electroacupuncture group received electroacupuncture with"Zhi San Zhen"intervention,5 times a week for 4 consecutive weeks.The model group and the wild group did not receive electroacupuncture intervention.The Morris water maze was used to preliminarily assess their learning and memory abilities.Thioflavin S staining was performed to detect Aβ plaque deposition.Western blot and real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR)were used to measure the expression levels of transmembrane receptor protein Notch-1,Notch 1 intracellular domain(NICD),hairy and enhancer of split 1(Hes 1),hairy and enhancer of split 5(Hes 5),synaptophysin(SYN),postsynaptic density protein-95(PSD-95),and Aβ. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Compared with the model group,the wild group and the electroacupuncture group showed shortened escape latency,increased platform crossing times,and longer target quadrant dwell time(P<0.05).Compared with the wild group,the model group had significantly increased deposition of Aβ plaques,while electroacupuncture with"Zhi San Zhen"inhibited the deposition of Aβ plaques in the hippocampus of 5xFAD mice(P<0.05).Compared with the wild group,the model group had decreased mRNA levels of SYN,PSD-95,Notch 1,NICD,Hes 1,and Hes 5 in the hippocampal tissue of mice,and increased mRNA levels of Aβ(P<0.05).Electroacupuncture with"Zhi San Zhen"increased the mRNA levels of SYN,PSD-95,Notch 1,NICD,Hes 1,and Hes 5 in the hippocampal tissue,and decreased the mRNA level of Aβ(P<0.05).Compared with the Wild group,the model group had decreased protein expression levels of SYN,PSD-95,Notch 1,NICD,Hes 1,and Hes 5 in the hippocampal tissue of mice,and increased protein expression levels of Aβ(P<0.05).Electroacupuncture with"Zhi San Zhen"upregulated the protein expression levels of SYN,PSD-95,Notch 1,NICD,Hes 1,and Hes 5,and inhibited the protein expression of Aβ(P<0.05).To conclude,electroacupuncture with"Zhi San Zhen"can improve the learning and memory abilities of 5xFAD mice,possibly by inhibiting the deposition of Aβ protein and activating the Notch signaling pathway in the hippocampus to enhance synaptic plasticity.

Objective:To investigate the value of 3D printing combined with intraoperative electrophysiological monitoring in excision of cerebellopontine angle (CPA) tumor.Methods:The clinical data of 43 patients with CPA tumor, admitted to our hospital from October 2016 to October 2019, were collected and analyzed. These patients were voluntarily divided into ordinary group ( n=27) and optimized group ( n=16). Patients in the ordinary group were operated microscopically, and those in the optimized group were operated microscopically with 3D printing combined with intraoperative electrophysiological monitoring. The degrees of tumor resection and neurological functions (facial and auditory nerve function, swallowing function, limb activity) improvements were compared between the two groups. Results:The degrees of tumor resection of the optimized group were significantly higher than those of the ordinary group ( P<0.05), and the improvement of facial and auditory nerve function in the optimized group was significantly better than that in the ordinary group ( P<0.05). There was no significant difference in improvements of swallowing function and limb activity between the two groups ( P>0.05). Conclusion:The 3D printing combined with intraoperative electrophysiological monitoring can improve the resection rate of CPA tumor, protect the facial auditory nerve, and improve the quality of life of patients after surgery.

The maintenance of posture and anti-contracture treatment are the critical elements of comprehensive burn rehabilitation in the overall treatment period of pediatric burns. Although domestic experts in burn discipline have formulated guidelines for burn rehabilitation, the maintenance of posture and design and manufacture of splints for anti-scar contractures in children with burns are different from that for adults with burns in many ways. Starting with paying the attention to the rehabilitation problems in pediatric burns, especially considering the anatomical, psychological, and social behavior characteristics of children in developmental period, the author′s team effectively applies splints to maximize the prevention of contractures in children and maintain and improve the range of their joint movements. The splints designed to prevent contractures in pediatric burns shall fit the small limb and meet their expected goals of rehabilitation. In each aspect of the production and use of splints, it is necessary to fully evaluate and consider the scar characteristics, growth and development status, activity level, and compliance of children, and adaptability and fixation methods of the splints, so as to select the appropriate splint type and formulate the wearing plan.

Objective To study the effect of low intensity laser irradiation on wound healing and the expression of transforming growth factor beta-1 (TGF-β1) and interleukin beta-1 (IL-1β) in wounded tissue.Methods Steam was used to scald 60 BALB/c mice.They were then randomly divided into a laser group and a control group with 30 in each group.The wounds in the laser group were irradiated with a low-intensity He-Ne laser,while the control group was given the same treatment except that the instrument was turned off.The wound healing rate was calculated,and the full wound thickness was measured and a reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was used to detect the expression of TGF-β1 and IL-1β right after the scalding and 1,3,7 and 14 days later.Results Seven and 14 days later,the wound healing rates in the laser group were (51.48 ± 5.89) ％ and (73.96 ± 7.25) ％,respectively.Compared with the control group at the same time points,the difference was statistically significant.In the laser group the expression of TGF-β1 had increased significantly at days 1 and 3,then increased to a maximum at day 7.It was significantly greater than in the control group at all three of those time points.At day 14 the expression of TGF-β1 in the laser group was significantly lower than in the control group.The expression of IL-1 β in the laser group had decreased significantly at days 1 and 3,and gradually reduced to a minimum at day 7.It was significantly lower than in the control group at all three of those time points.Conclusion Low intensity He-Ne laser irradiation can accelerate wound healing after scalding,at least in mice.Its effect may be related to its regulation of the expression of IL-1 β and TGF-β1.

OBJECTIVETo study the effects of ultrashort wave combined with sequential pressure treatment on the functional recovery of deeply burned hands in the early stage of healed wounds in hands.

METHODSSixty-five patients with burn of unilateral hand were hospitalized from July 2012 to June 2013 in our center. Injured hands of 35 patients were treated with active movement, ultrashort wave, sequential pressure therapy, and pressure gloves, and the other 30 patients were treated with active movement and pressure gloves 10-31 days after the wounds were healed according to the will of patients. The former 35 patients were regarded as comprehensive treatment (CT) group, and the latter 30 patients were regarded as routine treatment (RT) group. Before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment, the appearance of injured hands was observed; the circumference of the proximal segment of thumb, index, and middle fingers and that of the palmar crease and wrist crease were measured to evaluate swelling of injured hand; score and grade of function of injured hands were evaluated with a Carroll Upper Extremity Functional Test. Data were processed with t test and rank sum test.

RESULTS(1) Four weeks after treatment, appearance of 30 injured hands in group CT was improved, which was close to that of the normal hand of each patient, while contracture deformity of metacarpophalangeal joints and interphalangeal joints was observed in the other 5 injured hands. Four weeks after treatment, no obvious change in the appearance of 17 injured hands in group RT was observed compared with that before treatment, while hyperextension of metacarpophalangeal joints, flexion of interphalangeal joints, and adduction deformity of thumb were observed in the other 13 hands. (2) Four weeks after treatment, the circumferential values of the proximal segment of thumb, index, and middle fingers and the palmar crease and wrist crease of injured hands in group CT were respectively lower than those before treatment (with t values 3.26-4.24, P values below 0.01), and the circumferential values of the proximal segment of thumb and middle fingers and the wrist crease of injured hands in group RT were respectively lower than those before treatment (with t values 2.02-2.44, P values below 0.05). The difference values of circumference values of the proximal segment of thumb, index, and middle fingers and the palmar crease and wrist crease of injured hands between before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment were respectively (0.491 ± 0.022), (0.583 ± 0.089), (0.486 ± 0.021), (1.100 ± 0.076), (0.751 ± 0.053) cm in group CT, which were significantly higher than those in group RT [(0.306 ± 0.021), (0.277 ± 0.022), (0.320 ± 0.027), (0.700 ± 0.052), (0.483 ± 0.048) cm, with t values respectively 5.94, 3.11, 5.02, 4.22, 3.68, P values below 0.01]. (3) Four weeks after treatment, scores of function of injured hands in groups CT and RT were respectively higher than those before treatment (with t values respectively 14.40 and 4.00, P values below 0.001), and the grades of function of injured hands were respectively improved (with u values respectively 6.93 and 3.29, P values below 0.01). The difference value of scores of function of injured hands between before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment was (51.1 ± 2.2) points in group CT, which was significantly higher than that of group RT [(32.5 ± 4.8) points, t = 3.52, P < 0.001].

CONCLUSIONSUltrashort wave combined with sequential pressure and routine rehabilitation treatment of deeply burned hands in the early stage after wounds in hands are healed can obviously reduce the swelling of injured hands, which provides a favorable condition for active movements and systematic rehabilitation treatment later.

Objective To provide the candidate antigens for immunological diagnosis by analyzing the expression of nu -cleoprotein ( NP) of Ebola virus. Methods BioSun software was used to predict the NP epitopes. The bridging-PCR was used to synthesize the NP gene. The pBVIL1 vector was used to clone and express the NP gene. Results The 360-739 aa of NP was confirmed to be the dominant antigen by BioSun software. The recombinant NP dominant antigen was expressed in E.coli with molecular weight of 58 ×103.The specificity of ELISA based on recombinant NP was 99.24% (130/131) in negative samples. Conclusions The dominant NP antigen can be potentially used for developing Ebola virus diagnostic reagent.

Objective To investigate the effects of infrasound at different frequencies on the pathological morphology of mouse testes and to explore the possible involvement of β-cateinin in the mechanism of injury. MethodsSixty adult BALB/C mice were randomly divided into 2 groups.One group of 6 mice were the controls without infrasound exposure.The other group with 54 mice was evenly divided into 3 subgroups of 18 exposed to 130 dB infrasound at 4 Hz,8 Hz or 20 Hz for 2 hours daily.The pathological morphology of the mice's testes was observed 3,9 and 21 h after exposure.Immunohistochemical staining was used to examine β-catenin expression 3 h after exposure.ResultsMarked damage was observed in the morphology of the testicular cells of rats in the 8 Hz group.Cell denaturation was found in germinal cells.The cell structure was loosened and the cell junctions had decreased or disappeared.The damage was most serious at 3 h after exposure.But at the same time point,pathological damage of testicular cells was not obvious in the 4 Hz group,with only a few testes cells swollen.The morphology of testicular tissue of mice in the 20 Hz subgroup exhibited no significant difference from the control group.β-catenin was mainly found in the membranes of Leydig cells,Sertoli cells and myoepithelial cells in all of the mice,and there was no significant change in the expression level or distribution pattern between the exposed mice and the controls.No expression ofβ-catenin was found in spermatogenic cells. ConclusionInfrasound at 4 Hz or 8 Hz can damage testicular tissue,at least in mice.At 20 Hz there is no significant effect on the testes.The loosened cell structure might have been caused by the mechanical force produced by the infrasound and not by any decrease of β-catenin.

Objective To research CpG and Al(OH)3 adjuvants enhancing immunogenicity of hepatitis C virus(HCV) recombinant ptotein combined vaccine(TIE).Methods BALB/c mice were immunized with candidate vaccine TFE using CpG,Al(OH)3,Al(OH) 3 + CpG,or freund's adjuvant(FA) as the adjuvant.Five mice were sacrificed after 10 d of the last immunization.Specific antibodies in sera were tested by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Splenic cells were isolated and levels of IFN-γ,IL-4 and cytotoxic T lymphocyte(CTL) cytotoxicity assay were messuredin vitro.The remaining mice were subcutaneouly injected with 1 × 106 SP2/0-NS3 cells on the back to investigate the protective effects.The differences of means between groups were compared by LSD-t test.Results The specific CTL activity of TFE + A1(OH) 3 + CpG group was higher than TFE + FA group and TFE + CpG group(P ＜ 0.05).The level of IFN-γsecreting cells in TFE + Al(OH)3 + CpG group was higher than that in TFE + M(OH)3 group or TFE + CpG group(P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Combining Al(OH) 3 and CpG could enhance specific cellular immunogenicity of candidate HCV vaccine TFE.TFE + M(OH) 3 + CpG could effetively prevent the attack of tumor cell SP2/0-NS3 expressing nonstructural protein NS3 of HCV.
