Objective: To investigate the levels of knowledge and skills in infectious diseases among school doctors and health teachers in Beijing s primary and secondary schools in 2023, and analyze the influencing factors, so as to provide a reference basis for enhancing the professional competencies of school doctors and health teachers. Methods: From October to November 2023, a census method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey among all school doctors and health teachers in 16 districts of Beijing. Chi-square tests and multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used perform statistical analysis. Results: The awareness rate of infectious diseaserelated knowledge among school doctors and health teachers in primary and secondary schools in Beijing in 2023 ranged from 34.44 % to 98.57%, while the behavior formation rate ranged from 65.90% to 98.64%. The proportions of those with literacy in infectious disease knowledge and behavior among school doctors and health teachers were 82.76% and 85.70%, respectively. Multivariate Logistics regression analysis showed that being a full-time employee, having a bachelor s degree or above, and holding a senior professional title were positively correlated with having literacy in infectious disease knowledge ( OR =1.76, 2.57, 1.42 , P <0.01). Compared to medical professionals, those in education and other professions were negatively correlated with having literacy in infectious disease knowledge ( OR =0.37, 0.55, P <0.01). Being a full-time employee, being female, and age were positively correlated with having literacy in infectious disease behavior ( OR =1.66, 2.18, 1.02, P <0.01). Conclusions The level of health literacy for infectious diseases among school doctors in Beijing primary and secondary schools is relatively high. Targeted training on key professional knowledge and skills should be prioritized for individuals with deficiencies in infectious disease prevention and control.

The research on the cardiovascular toxicity of air pollutants is in urgent need of collaborative innovation across multiple models. This paper systematically reviewed the advantages and limitations of four principal research models of cardiotoxicity, including epidemiological model, mammalian model, zebrafish model, and in vitro model. Epidemiological models have been used to demonstrate a significant correlation between exposure to PM_2.5 and both the incidence and mortality of cardiovascular diseases within populations; however, these models face challenges in establishing causal inferences and interpreting individual mechanisms. Mammalian models have been applied to elucidate the pathogenic mechanisms of PM_2.5 at both the systemic and organ-specific levels, yet they encounter difficulties related to interspecies differences and throughput constraints. Zebrafish models, with their transparent embryos and observable development, offer a distinctive opportunity for high-throughput screening and mechanistic investigation of PM_2.5-induced cardiac developmental toxicity. Nonetheless, their cardiac physiological structure diverges from that of mammals, limiting their capacity to accurately model chronic conditions such as coronary heart disease. In vitro models, particularly human heart organoids and chip technologies, have provided profound insights into the direct toxic mechanisms of PM_2.5, including disruptions in calcium homeostasis, cellular senescence, and electrophysiological irregularities at the cellular and molecular levels. Despite these advancements, the complexity and developmental maturity of these models present challenges to their broader application. This paper proposed that the key to overcoming the bottlenecks of single models lies in the construction of an integrated evaluation system that combines “epidemiological studies, mammalian models, zebrafish models, and in vitro models”. By focusing on three aspects, namely model integration, technological convergence, and policy support, it is intended to collaboratively address issues such as standardization of multi-model data, simulation of complex exposure scenarios and susceptible life stages, and transformation pathways. This will provide innovative methodological support for the analysis of the cardiotoxic mechanisms of air pollutants, the assessment of environmental health impacts, and the formulation of precise prevention and control strategies.

Objective:To investigate the dosimetric characteristics of intensity modulated proton therapy (IMPT) and intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) for lung cancers.Methods:Three lung cancer patients (central-lower, central, and peripheral types) admitted to Shandong Cancer Hospital and Institute from January 2024 to May 2024 were selected as the research subjects. IMPT and IMRT plans were designed for each case based on the anatomical location of the clinical target volume and the dose constraints for organs at risk (OARs). Dosimetric parameters, including conformity index (CI), homogeneity index (HI), and gradient index (GI) for target coverage, as well as OARs dosimetric parameters were evaluated. The volume of additional dose deposition in the body was compared by assessing regions receiving 10%, 30%, and 50% of the prescription dose.Results:For all three cases, IMRT plans demonstrated higher CI values (0.80, 0.60, and 0.79) compared to IMPT plans (0.61, 0.57, and 0.34). IMPT plans yielded lower HI values (0.07, 0.06, and 0.06) than IMRT plans (0.09, 0.15, and 0.09) and lower GI values (2.84, 2.47, and 4.56 vs. 4.91, 3.09, and 4.99 for IMRT plans). Compared with the IMRT plans, the low-dose region in the ipsilateral lung was significantly reduced in IMPT plans (V 5 of the IMPT plans were 20.59%, 46.29%, 10.94%, respectively; V 5 of the IMRT plans were 48.91%, 60.63%, 19.92%, respectively), but there was no significant advantage in the high-dose region compared to IMRT plans (V 20 of the IMPT plans were 12.88%, 34.75%, 5.21%, respectively; V 20 of the IMRT plans were 21.70%, 36.50%, 5.31%, respectively). The dose to the contralateral lung and heart was significantly reduced in IMPT plans [the D mean of the contralateral lung in the IMPT plans were 0.08, 0.04, and 0.00 Gy (RBE), respectively, and those in the IMRT plans were 3.25, 1.18, and 0.55 Gy, respectively; the heart D mean in the IMPT plans were 6.23, 7.04, and 0.00 Gy (RBE), respectively, while those of the IMRT plans were 18.33, 10.27, and 0.08 Gy, respectively). IMPT plans significantly reduced the volumes receiving 10% of the prescription dose by 65.94%, 25.57% and 72.47%, respectively, compared to IMRT plans. The volumes IMPT plans occupied by 30% of the prescription dose area in the body were reduced by 54.97%, 26.47% and 39.04%, respectively, compared to the IMRT plans. The volumes IMPT plans occupied by 50% of the prescription dose area in the body were reduced by 54.49%, 30.43% and 28.89%, respectively, compared to the IMRT plans. Conclusions:IMPT plan significantly reduces the V 5 of the ipsilateral lung, the D mean of the contralateral lung and the heart, while maintaining target coverage compared with IMRT plan for lung cancers. However, IMPT plan does not show much more advantage than IMRT plan in the ipsilateral lung V 20. IMPT can reduce the additional exposure volume within the body.

Objective To investigate the differences in oral and gut microbiota composition among children aged 3-5 years with varying body mass index(BMI)levels in Urumqi,and to provide a scientific basis for early microbiological warning and intervention strategies for childhood obesity.Methods A total of 40 children aged 3-5 years were enrolled.Based on their BMI percentiles,the participants were divided into 4 groups,including the underweight,normal weight,overweight,and obesity groups(n=10 per group).A total of 80 saliva and fecal samples were collected.Microbial community structures were analyzed using 16S rRNA gene sequencing,followed by bioinformatics and statistical analyses.Results Oral microbiota richness,as measured by Chao1 and observed-species indices,differed significantly among the four groups(P=0.004 7 and P=0.005 4,respectively),whereas no significant difference in gut microbiota diversity was observed(P>0.05).Beta diversity analysis revealed a distinct separation in oral microbiota between the normal-weight weight and other groups.At the genus level,obese children exhibited increased abundance in oral Leptotrichia,underweight children showed enrichment of gut Bacteroides,and overweight children showed increased abundance in gut Faecalibacterium and Blautia.Linear discriminant analysis effect size(LEfSe)analysis identified multiple biomarkers,including Prevotellaceae in the oral microbiota of normal-weight children,Catonella in the oral microbiota of obese children,and Clostridiales,Lachnospiraceae,and Hungatella in the gut microbiota of underweight children.Metabolic pathways related to lipopolysaccharide synthesis and amino acid metabolism were significantly upregulated in the microbiota of overweight and obese children.Conclusion Significant differences are observed in the oral and gut microbiota composition among children aged 3-5 years of different BMI levels in Urumqi.Oral microbiota show greater sensitivity to BMI changes.Specific genera,such as Catonella,Leptotrichia,and Prevotellaceae,may be involved in the development of obesity.The microbiota metabolic pathways in children with high BMI are characterized by the core features of inflammation activation and lipid metabolism dysregulation.

Objective: To compare the effectiveness of qualitative and quantitative fecal immunochemical tests (FIT) in identifying colorectal cancer, so as to provide insights into perfecting screening strategies for colorectal cancer. Methods: Participants in the Colorectal Cancer Screening Program for Key Populations in Zhejiang Province from May 2020 to December 2021 were recruited, and their demographic information, lifestyle and disease history were collected through a questionnaire survey. Qualitative or quantitative FIT along with a questionnaire-based risk assessment were employed as the initial screening tests. Individuals who were positive in any FIT or had high-risk assessment results were required to attend a subsequent colonoscopy examination. The positive rate, detection rate of colorectal cancer, positive predictive value and number of colonoscopies required were compared between qualitative and quantitative FITs, and stratified analyses by gender and age were conducted. Results: Totally 4 099 769 participants were included. The qualitative FIT group included 3 574 917 individuals, yielding a positive rate of 11.35%, a detection rate of 1.19%, a positive predictive value of 0.48% and 83.84 colonoscopies required to detect one cancer case. The quantitative FIT group involved 524 852 individuals, yielding a positive rate of 6.70%, a detection rate of 2.31%, a positive predictive value of 1.01% and 43.23 colonoscopies required to detect one cancer case. The quantitative FIT group showed significantly higher detection rate of colorectal cancer, higher positive predictive value and less number of colonoscopies required compared to the qualitative FIT group (all P<0.05). The same results were obtained after stratification by gender and age. Conclusion Compared to qualitative FIT, quantitative FIT improves the detection of colorectal cancer and reduces the workload of colonoscopy examinations, making it more suitable for colorectal cancer screening in large-scale populations.

ObjectiveTo investigate the mechanism of neferine（Nef） in promoting vascular regeneration against cerebral ischemia through modulation of mitochondrial calcium uniporter（MCU） ion channel. MethodTaking the area of subintestinal vessels in microvascular deficiency zebrafish as an index， the vascular regenerative efficacy of Nef was evaluated， and the median effective concentration（EC₅₀） was calculated. Rats were randomly divided into a sham operation group， a model group， a positive drug group（butylphthalide， 6 mg·kg^-1）， and Nef low， medium， and high dose groups（0.125， 0.625， 3.125 μg·kg^-1）. Except for the sham operation group， the middle cerebral artery occlusion（MCAO） model was established in other groups. After modeling， the groups were administered the corresponding dose of drugs by gavage， while the sham operation and model groups received equal volumes of saline， once a day for 7 consecutive days. Neurobehavioral scores were assessed for each group of rats， and the infarct rate of ischemic brain tissue was calculated by 2，3，5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride（TTC） staining. The regional cerebral blood flow（rCBF） of each group was measured using a speckle contrast imaging. Immunofluorescence and Western blot were conducted to detect the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor（VEGF）， platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule-1（CD31）， and hypoxia-inducible factor-1α（HIF-1α） proteins in each group. Human umbilical vein endothelial cells（HUVECs） were divided into the normal group， model group， positive drug group（astragaloside Ⅳ， 10 μmol·L^-1）， and Nef group （32 nmol·L^-1）. In the verification of mitochondrial protection of Nef and its mechanism in promoting vascular regeneration， the spermine（MCU agonist） and Nef+spermine group were added. HUVECs model of oxygen-glucose deprivation（OGD） was established in all groups except the normal group， the cell viability was assessed using 3-（4，5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl）-2，5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide（MTT） assay， and cell migration ability was evaluated through scratch and tube formation assays. Fluorescent probes（Rhod-2 AM， Fluo-3 AM， JC-1， Calcein AM） and a cellular energy metabolism analyzer were used to analyze the mitochondrial protective effects of Nef. Molecular docking was performed to predict the binding ability of Nef with MCU and HIF-1α， and Western blot was used to detect the effects of Nef on the protein expressions of MCU， B-cell lymphoma-2 associated X protein（Bax）， Caspase-3 and HIF-1α in the OGD model HUVECs. ResultThe results of vascular regeneration in microvascular deficiency zebrafish showed that compared to the normal group， the area of subintestinal vessels in the model group significantly decreased（P<0.01）. Compared to the model group， different concentrations of Nef could significantly increase the area of subintestinal vessels（P<0.01）， with the maximum tolerated concentration of 10.24 μmol·L^-1 and the EC₅₀ of 0.23 μmol·L^-1. Anti-cerebral ischemia results on MCAO rats showed that compared to the sham operation group， the model group had a significant decrease in rCBF and a significant increase in infarct rate， while CD31 expression significantly decreased（P<0.01）， and VEGF and HIF-1α protein expressions significantly increased（P<0.05）. Compared to the model group， the treated groups showed significant increases in rCBF， significant reductions in infarct volume， and significant increases in CD31， VEGF， and HIF-1α protein expression（P<0.01）. Cell experiment results showed that compared to the normal group， the model group had decreased cell viability and migration ability， increased intracellular Ca²⁺ and mitochondrial Ca²⁺ levels， reduced mitochondrial permeability transition pore（MPTP） opening， and decreased mitochondrial energy metabolism capability， with increased expressions of MCU， Bax， Caspase-3 and HIF-1α proteins（P<0.05， P<0.01）. Compared to the model group， the Nef group showed increased cell viability and migration ability， decreased intracellular Ca²⁺ and mitochondrial Ca²⁺ levels， increased MPTP opening， enhanced mitochondrial energy metabolism capability， decreased expressions of MCU， Bax and Caspase-3 proteins， and increased HIF-1α protein expression（P<0.05， P<0.01）. ConclusionNef can stabilize mitochondrial membrane potential and inhibit mitochondrial apoptosis. By down-regulating the expression of MCU， it suppresses the activation of intracellular Bax and Caspase-3 while activating the HIF-1α signaling pathway， enhancing the expression of VEGF and CD31， thereby promoting vascular regeneration to treat ischemic brain injury.

Globally, gynecological malignancies are common types of female cancer and the main cause of cancer death among women. Cervical cancer, endometrial cancer and ovarian cancer, which are the main types of gynecological cancers, pose a significant threat to women's health worldwide. Studies have shown that diet plays an important role in the occurrence and development of gynecological cancers such as cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, and ovarian cancer, for which added sugar may be an influencing factor due to its food source characteristic and related biological effect. However, this paper reviewed the research progress on the relationship between consumption of added sugar and gynecological cancers such as endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer and cervical cancer, with a view to providing a reference for the active prevention of gynecological cancer.

Objective:To explore the intervention effect of acceptance and commitment therapy on the psychological flexibility, self-compassion, anxiety and depression of the primary caregivers of patients with primary liver cancer, so as to provide reference for the clinical care of the primary caregivers of cancer patients.Methods:This was a prospective study. A total of 80 primary caregivers of patients with primary liver cancer treated in Tianyou Hospital Affiliated to Wuhan University of Science and Technology from July to December 2021 were selected as the observation objects, and they were randomly divided into the control group and the intervention group according to the random drawing method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing measures, while the intervention group was given acceptance and commitment therapy on the basis of routine nursing. The intervention effect was evaluated by the Acceptance and Action Questionnaire-2nd Edition (AAQ-Ⅱ), Self-Compassion Scale Short-Form (SCS-SF) and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) before the intervention, on the day of discharge, and one month after discharge.Results:Finally, 71 primary caregivers completed the intervention and follow-up, 36 in the control group and 35 in the intervention group. Before the intervention, there was no statistically significant difference in the scores of AAQ-Ⅱ, SCS-SF, Anxiety subscale of HADS(HADS-A) and Depression subscale of HADS(HADS-D) between the two groups ( P>0.05). The AAQ-Ⅱscores of the intervention group on the day of discharge and one month after discharge were (19.63±2.59), (19.12 ± 2.20) points, which were significantly lower than those of the control group (23.14 ± 2.49), (22.56 ± 2.40) points. The differences were statistically significant ( t=5.83, 6.25, both P<0.01). The SCS-SF scores of the intervention group on the day of discharge and one month after discharge were (39.34 ± 2.68), (39.89 ± 2.81) points, which were significantly higher than those of the control group (36.69 ± 3.08), (37.72 ± 2.41) points, the differences were statistically significant ( t=-3.86, -3.49, both P<0.01). The HADS-A/HADS-D scores of the intervention group on the day of discharge and one month after discharge were (9.31 ± 1.95), (9.09 ± 1.60) points and (8.80 ± 2.15), (8.54 ± 1.75) points,which were significantly lower than those of the control group(11.42 ± 1.50), (11.03 ± 1.70) points and (10.11 ± 1.92), (10.03 ± 1.84) points, the differences were statistically significant( t values were 2.71-5.10, all P<0.01). The scores of AAQ-Ⅱ, SCS-SF, HADS-A and HADS-D of the two groups were analyzed by repeated measures analysis of variance, and there were significant differences in time effect, inter-group effect and interaction effect ( F vaules were 3.42-37.90, all P<0.05). Conclusions:Acceptance and commitment therapy can improve the self-compassion and psychological flexibility, reduce anxiety and depression of the primary caregivers of patients with primary liver cancer.

To explore the expression of p62 protein in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD). In this study, a cross-sectional study was adopted. From December 2011 to May 2013, 60 patients with lung adenocarcinoma who were diagnosed and treated in Tongji Hospital of Tongji University, Shanghai were selected for paraffin embedding and tissue chip preparation, and immunohistochemistry (IHC) technology was used to detect the expression of p62 in lung adenocarcinoma patients′ cancer tissues and adjacent tissues, and analyze the relationship between p62 expression and the clinicopathological characteristics and survival prognosis of patients with lung adenocarcinoma; at the same time, 6 cases of lung adenocarcinoma were selected by random sampling cancer tissues and adjacent tissues were detected by Western Blot (WB) to detect p62 protein and analyzed by gray value. Preoperative examination specimens of inpatients with lung adenocarcinoma diagnosed from April 2018 to early October 2019, and plasma specimens of healthy subjects were collected, and enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to detect lung adenocarcinoma patients and healthy patients. The expression of p62 in the plasma of the subjects was statistically analyzed using SPSS 22.0 software. The results of IHC showed that the positive expression rate of p62 in cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in adjacent tissues, and the difference was statistically significant ( t=5.593, P<0.001). Similarly, WB results showed that the expression of p62 protein in cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in adjacent tissues. It is statistically relevant ( t=2.238, P=0.049). The expression of p62 was statistically correlated with tumor size, clinicopathological stage and lymph node metastasis in patients with lung adenocarcinoma (all P<0.05). The overall survival of patients with lung adenocarcinoma with high p62 expression was worse than that of patients with low p62 expression (95 %CI was 0.238-0.870, P=0.028), suggesting that the high expression of p62 is related to the poor prognosis of patients with lung adenocarcinoma. The level of p62 protein in the plasma of patients with lung adenocarcinoma was significantly higher than that in the healthy control group. The difference was statistically significant ( t=8.533, P<0.001). The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve was 0.835 (95 %CI was 0.779-0.891, P<0.001), which is significantly higher than CEA, CA125, CA153 and other single traditional indicators, and the combined detection of four indicators has the highest diagnostic efficiency. p62 was strongly expressed in cancer tissues and serum, which is related to the poor prognosis and overall survival rate of LUAD patients.
