Parkinson's disease is a neurodegenerative disease that mostly occurs in middle-aged and elderly people. It is characterized by progressive loss of dopaminergic neurons in the substantia nigra and aggregation of Lewy bodies, resulting in a series of motor symptoms and non-motor symptoms. Depression is the most important manifestation of non-motor symptoms, which seriously affects the quality of life of patients. Clinicians often use antidepressant drugs to improve the depressive symptoms of patients with Parkinson 's disease, but it is still urgent to solve the problems of drug side effects and drug resistance caused by such methods. Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation is a safe and non-invasive neuromodulation technique that can change the excitability of the corticospinal tract, induce the release of dopamine and other neurotransmitters, and further improve the depressive symptoms of patients with Parkinson 's disease. Based on this, this paper discusses and summarizes the research progress on the efficacy and potential mechanism of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation for improving depression in Parkinson 's disease at home and abroad, in order to provide reference for related clinical application research.

Objective To investigate the effect of subchronic inhalation of toluene diisocyanate (TDI) on the pathological changes, oxidative stress damage, and HO-1 expression levels in rat liver tissues. Methods Forty healthy 3-week-old SPF-grade Sprague-Dawley male rats were randomly divided into 4 groups (control group, low-dose group, medium-dose group, and high-dose group), each with 10 rats. The rats were placed in a HOPE-MED 8050A movable poison cabinet in a cage. TDI was administered to animals by inhalation at doses of 0, 3.06 mg/m3, 12.25 mg/m3, and 49.00 mg/m3, respectively, for 6 hours a day and 5 days a week, and continuously for 13 weeks. The control group was exposed to fresh air. The effect of TDI on pathological changes, oxidative stress damage and HO-1 expression in rat liver tissues was examined. Results Compared with the control group, the rats in the medium and high-dose TDI-exposed groups exhibited vacuolar changes, hepatocyte swelling, steatosis and other pathological changes. With the increase of the TDI dose, the gap between hepatocytes was widened, mitochondria were swollen and vacuolated, and mitochondrial cristae disappeared. The expression levels of HO-1 gene and protein in the liver tissues of the low, medium, and high dose groups were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the number of HO-1 positive cells in the low, medium and high dose groups increased and the staining increased gradually, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion TDI exposure can cause oxidative damage to rat liver tissues and induce the expression levels of HO-1 gene and protein expression.

Chinese Journal of Pathology 2019;48(11):851-855
Objective:
To investigate the clinical, pathological features and differential diagnosis of testicular Leydig cell hyperplasia (LCH) .
Methods:
Clinical data, histological features, immunohistochemical findings, ultrastructural characteristics and follow-up data were analyzed in three cases of LCH. The cases were collected from 2011 to 2014 at Beijing Children′s Hospital. A literature review was performed.
Results:
Two males (1.8 years and 2.9 years of age) showed isosexual pseudoprecocity with elevated serum testosterone. Imaging study showed bilateral testicular enlargement with multiple small nodules in the parenchyma. Another 13 years-old patient showed male pseudohermaphroditism and cryptorchism. Gross examination showed the bilateral markedly enlarged testis without discrete lesion. Histologically, LCH was seen in both nodular and diffuse patterns without destruction of seminiferous tubules. Adjacent spermatogenesis was noted. Immunohistochemically, the Leydig cells were positive for inhibin, calretinin and Melan A and ultrastructural analysis showed enriched cytoplasmic endoplasmic reticulum. Two cases had followed up for 7 years. One patient was symptom-free and one was stable.
Conclusion
LCH is a rare benign condition, which is easily misinterpreted as testicular tumor or non-neoplastic diseases. Clinical presentation, imaging study and pathological evaluation are required for the diagnosis.

Collectively migrating tumor cells have been recently implicated in enhanced metastasis of epithelial malignancies. In oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), v integrin is a crucial mediator of multicellular clustering and collective movement ; however, its contribution to metastatic spread remains to be addressed. According to the emerging therapeutic concept, dissociation of tumor clusters into single cells could significantly suppress metastasis-seeding ability of carcinomas. This study aimed to investigate the anti-OSCC potential of novel endostatin-derived polypeptide PEP06 as a cluster-dissociating therapeutic agent . Firstly, we found marked enrichment of v integrin in collectively invading multicellular clusters in human OSCCs. Our study revealed that metastatic progression of OSCC was associated with augmented immunostaining of v integrin in cancerous lesions. Following PEP06 treatment, cell clustering on fibronectin, migration, multicellular aggregation, anchorage-independent survival and colony formation of OSCC were significantly inhibited. Moreover, PEP06 suppressed v integrin/FAK/Src signaling in OSCC cells. PEP06-induced loss of active Src and E-cadherin from cell-cell contacts contributed to diminished collective migration of OSCC . Overall, these results suggest that PEP06 polypeptide 30 inhibiting v integrin/FAK/Src signaling and disrupting E-cadherin-based intercellular junctions possesses anti-metastatic potential in OSCC by acting as a cluster-dissociating therapeutic agent.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;32(6):1288-1293
Intensity-modulated radiotherapy planning for nasopharyngeal carcinoma is very complex. The quality of plan is often closely linked to the experience of the treatment planner. In this study, 10 nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients at different stages were enrolled. Based on the scripting of Pinnacle 9. 2 treatment planning system, the computer program was used to set the basic parameters and objective parameters of the plans. At last, the nasopharyngeal carcinoma intensity-modulated radiotherapy plans were completed automatically. Then, the automatical and manual intensity-modulated radiotherapy plans were statistically compared and clinically evaluated. The results showed that there were no significant differences between those two kinds of plans with respect to the dosimetry parameters of most targets and organs at risk. The automatical nasopharyngeal carcinoma intensity-modulated radiotherapy plans can meet the requirements of clinical radiotherapy, significantly reduce planning time, and avoid the influence of human factors such as lack of experience to the quality of plan.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(04):-
AIM To study toxicity and mechanism of SOV on ventricular myocardial cells. METHODS Cyclical perfusion was used to acutely detach the mature guinea pig myocytes into single cells. The CK,LDH activity in a medium of myocardial cells was measured for 30,60,120 and 180 min after the effect of SOV at 1,10, 100 ?mol?L -1 and 1 mmol?L -1 . Rates of cell viability and apoptosis were also measured. The protein content and Na +,K + ATP enzyme activity of the myocardial cells were measured as well. An electron microscope was used to investigate cell nucleus and organelle morphology. RESULTS The release of CK, LDH and protein from the myocardial cell gradually increased after administering SOV at 100 ?mol?L -1 and 1 mmol?L -1 to the cells. While ,the cell activity decreased. CK release, which indicated the extent of myocardial cell injury, was more sensitively than that of LDH and cell viability. Meanwhile ,the activity of Na +,K + ATP enzyme decreased gradually. The rate of apoptosis of myocardial cells significantly changed for 180 min after treated with SOV at 100 ?mol?L -1 and 1 mmol?L -1 . CONCLUSION Guinea pig ventricular myocardial cells were only injured when exposed for 30 min to 100 ?mol?L -1 and 1 mmol?L -1 concentrations of SOV higher than the effective concentration of the drug.
