Suhuang Zhike Capsules are widely used in clinical practice for the treatment of respiratory diseases and have been included in Medicine Catalogue for National Basic Medical Insurance, Work Injury Insurance, and Maternity Insurance and National Essential Medicines List. However, problems remain, such as unclear definitions of treatment courses and unidentified contraindications for certain populations. Therefore, this consensus was developed collaboratively by clinical experts in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) related to pulmonary diseases, respiratory, and critical care medicine, as well as methodology and pharmacy experts, adhering strictly to the consensus development procedures established by the China Association of Chinese Medicine for clinical application of Chinese patent medicines, with the aim to guide the correct clinical use of Suhuang Zhike Capsules for the treatment of cough variant asthma, post-infectious cough, and other respiratory diseases. This consensus employed questionnaire surveys and expert interviews to identify clinical concerns based on the PICOS principle and conduct evidence evaluation and GRADE grading. Utilizing nominal group techniques and GRADE networking methods, it resulted in 17 recommendations and consensus suggestions. The consensus further clarifies the indications, TCM syndromes, usage, and clinical safety of Suhuang Zhike Capsules in the treatment of cough variant asthma and post-infectious cough, aiming to promote standardized medication use and facilitate the rational clinical application of Suhuang Zhike Capsules.

A growing global trend indicates a decline in semen quality, with a lack of physical activity identified as one of the contributing factors. Exercise is medication, and numerous studies have explored its effects on semen quality. However, there is no consensus on the most effective type and intensity of exercise for improving semen quality, owing to inconsistent findings across studies. These discrepancies may be attributable to variations in study populations ( e.g. , healthy versus infertile individuals) and research methodologies ( e.g., observational versus interventional studies). This paper reviews the existing literature from the databases PubMed, Web of Science, and Google Scholar, reclassifying articles on their subject and research designs to delineate the relationship between exercise and semen quality. It also summarizes the mechanisms through which exercise influences semen quality, including hormonal regulation, oxidative stress, and inflammatory factors.

Objective:To explore the potential causal relationship between gut microbiota and teratozoospermia.Methods:We searched the database of Genome-Wide Association Study(GWAS)for gut microbiota-and teratozoospermia-related data.We used gut microbiota as an exposure factor,determined the instrumental variables according to the GWAS data on 18 340 participants released by the MiBioGen Alliance,and derived the outcome variables from the European data on teratozoospermia,with a sample size of 85 716,including 915 cases and 209 006 controls.Using inverse-variance weighting(IVW),MR-Egger regression and the weighted median estimator(WME),we performed two-sample Mendelian randomization(MR)analysis on the retrieved data,and estimated the causal relationship between gut microbiota and teratozoospermia based on the β value.Results:Two-sample MR analysis indicated that the class Erysipelotrichia,family Erysipelotrichaceae,family Streptococcaceae,genus Coprococcusl,genus Ruminococcaceae UCG009,genus Streptococcus,order Clostridialesm and order Erysipelotrichales were causally related with the increased risk,while the family Porphyromonadaceae with the decreased risk of teratozoospermia.Conclusion:The class Erysipelotrichia,family Erysipe-lotrichaceae,family Streptococcaceae,genus Coprococcusl,genus Ruminococcaceae UCG009,genus Streptococcus,order Clostridia-lesm and order Erysipelotrichales are one of the causes of teratozoospermia,related to the increased risk of the condition,while the family Porphyromonadaceae has a protective effect on sperm morphology,reducing the risk of teratozoospermia.

For the past 30 years,percutaneous balloon mitral valve dilatation has been performed under the guidance of X-rays and bedside ultrasound.However,there are still some cases of mitral valve stenosis in the large atrium where balloon dilation failed.Intraperitoneal ultrasound-guided percutaneous balloon mitral valve plasty is accurate and feasible,which can reduce the occurrence of complications and improve the success rate of such elderly complex cases.Two patients with severe mitral stenosis underwent percutaneous balloon mitral valve plasty guided by intracardiac ultrasound.The operations were successful without any complications,which can provide reference for clinical treatment of mitral stenosis.

BACKGROUND: Human interleukin (IL)-37 is a constituent of the IL-1 family with potent anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive attributes. It has been demonstrated extensive beneficial effects on various diseases; however, its role in the pathogenesis of diabetic cardiomyopathy (DCM) remains unclear. METHODS: In vivo, DCM mouse model was established with streptozotocin injection and a high-fat diet in WT and cardiac fibroblasts (CFs) specific hIL-37b overexpression mice (IL-37-Tg). In vitro, primary mouse CFs were isolated from the hearts of adult mice and cultured with high levels of glucose and palmitic acid. Cardiac function of the mice was assessed using echocardiography. Masson staining, immunofluorescence, western blot and RT-PCR assays were employed to evaluate the expression of cardiac fibrosis and SOCS3-JAK2-STAT3 signaling pathway-related proteins. RESULTS: In this study, we found that CFs specific IL-37-Tg significantly ameliorated cardiac dysfunction and reduced collagen production by inhibiting the JAK2-STAT3 axis, as evidenced by the decreased levels of p-JAK2 and p-STAT3 in the heart of CFs specific IL-37-Tg DCM mice. The beneficial effects of IL-37 were consistently observed in CFs treated with high glucose (HG) and palmitic acid (PA). Moreover, we also discovered that the presence of IL-37 increased the expression of SOCS3, a crucial regulator of JAK/STAT signaling, in DCM mice and HG and PA-treated CFs. Finally, the anti-fibrotic action of IL-37 in HG and PA-treated CFs was abolished when either SOCS3 was genetically knocked down or JAK2/STAT3 was pharmacologically activated. CONCLUSIONS Our findings indicate that IL-37 exerts its antifibrotic effect by promoting SOCS3-mediated JAK2-STAT3 inactivation and may be considered as a potential therapeutic agent for DCM.

To compare the pancreatic proteomics and autophagy between Rehmanniae Radix-and Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata-treated mice with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM). The T2DM mouse model was established by high-fat diet coupled with streptozotocin(STZ, intraperitoneal injection, 100 mg·kg~(-1), once a day for three consecutive days). The mice were then randomly assigned into a control group, low-(5 g·kg~(-1)) and high-dose(15 g·kg~(-1)) Rehmanniae Radix groups, low-(150 mg·kg~(-1)) and high-dose(300 mg·kg~(-1)) catalpol groups, low-(5 g·kg~(-1)) and high-dose(15 g·kg~(-1)) Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata groups, low-(150 mg·kg~(-1)) and high-dose(300 mg·kg~(-1)) 5-hydroxymethyl furfuraldehyde(5-HMF) groups, and a metformin(250 mg·kg~(-1)) group. In addition, a normal group was also set and each group included 8 mice. The pancreas was collected after four weeks of administration and proteomics tools were employed to study the effects of Rehmanniae Radix and Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata on protein expression in the pancreas of T2DM mice. The expression levels of proteins involved in autophagy, inflammation, and oxidative stress response in the pancreatic tissues of T2DM mice were determined by western blotting, immunohistochemical assay, and transmission electron microscopy. The results showed that the differential proteins between the model group and Rehmanniae Radix/Rehmanniae Radix Prae-parata group were enriched in 7 KEGG pathways, such as autophagy-animal, which indicated that the 7 pathways may be associated with T2DM. Compared with the control group, drug administration significantly up-regulated the expression levels of beclin1 and phosphorylated mammalian target of rapamycin(p-mTOR)/mTOR and down-regulated those of the inflammation indicators, Toll-like receptor-4(TLR4) and Nod-like receptor protein 3(NLRP3), in the pancreas of T2DM mice, and Rehmanniae Radix showed better performance. In addition, the expression levels of inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS), nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2(Nrf2), and heine oxygenase-1(HO-1) in the pancreas of T2DM mice were down-regulated after drug administration, and Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata demonstrated better performance. The results indicate that both Rehmanniae Radix and Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata can alleviate the inflammatory symptoms, reduce oxidative stress response, and increase the autophagy level in the pancreas of T2DM mice, while they exert the effect on different autophagy pathways.

To explore the efficacy and value of personalized surgical schemes in the repair of maxillary sinus perforation and maxillary sinus fistula based on the size of the maxillary sinus perforation and maxillary sinus fistula. A total of 28 patients with maxillary sinus perforation and maxillary sinus fistula who were admitted to the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Stomatology Hospital of Kunming Medical University from July 2017 to May 2020 were included to conduct a prospective case clinical study. After the inflammation in the maxillary sinus was controlled, a proper surgical repair method was selected according to the size of the perforation and fistula based on the double-layer closure technique. The diameter of the perforation and fistula was measured with the assistance of cone-beam CT. After that, the platelet rich fibrin (PRF) repair was performed on the perforation and fistula with 3 mm≤diameter<7 mm in size in 14 patients. The PRF repair and buccal flap repair were performed on the perforation and fistula with 7 mm ≤diameter<15 mm in size in 7 patients. The adjacent buccal pad repair, palatine flap repair, and buccal flap repair were performed on the perforation and fistula with 15 mm≤ diameter<25 mm in size in 4 patients. The nasolabial axial flap repair and nasolabial free flap repair were performed on the perforation and fistula with a diameter ≥25 mm in size in 3 patients. The medical follow-up was conducted in all patients in the 1st, 2nd, and 4th week after surgery, with an overall success rate reaching 96.4% (27/28) after the initial intervention. The relapse of disease occurred in one patient (4.6%) with diabetes and a smoking history in the 2nd week after surgery. Identifying a proper surgical repair method according to the size of the oral and maxillary sinus perforation and maxillary sinus fistula based on the double-layer closure technique can improve the one-time cure rate in these patients under the premise that the inflammation in the maxillary sinus can be controlled.

Objective - To analyze the relationship between cobalt level of post shift urine and individual exposure level of ， cobalt and its compounds in cobalt exposed workers and to explore the feasibility of using urine cobalt as a biomarker. Methods - A total of 148 occupational cobalt exposed workers from a new material company were selected as the exposed ， - - group and 44 non occupational cobalt exposed workers from the company were selected as the control group using the typical sampling method. The exposure concentration of time weighted average of cobalt and its compounds in the workplace air of the - two groups was determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry as the individual exposure level. The cobalt levels - - of pre shift and post shift urinary samples of the two groups were detected by this method. The linear relationship between the - cobalt level of post shift urine and the individual exposure level of cobalt and its compounds in the air of the workplace was Results - 3 analyzed. The individual exposure level of cobalt and its compounds in the exposed group was 1.10 131.71 μg/m with （M） 3 the median of 12.23 μg/m. No cobalt and its compounds were detected in the workplace air in the control group. The cobalt - - levels of pre shift and post shift urines in exposed group were higher than those in the control group at the same time point （M： vs ， vs ， P ） - - 1.54 0.56 μg/L 8.77 0.83 μg/L all <0.01 . The cobalt level of post shift urine was higher than that in pre shift （M： vs ，P ）， urine in the exposed group 8.77 1.54 μg/L <0.01 and it was positively correlated with the individual exposure level （ ，P ） ， of cobalt and its compounds Spearman correlation coefficient=0.86 <0.01 . ObjectiveTo clarify the medication regularity of WU Zhao-dong，a famous chief physician in traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） of Jiangxi province， and investigate the potential mechanism of potential new prescriptions against chronic renal failure （CRF）. MethodThe outpatient prescriptions of WU Zhao-dong from July 2019 to July 2021 were collected. Data mining was carried out by using the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Auxiliary Platform （V 2.5） to analyze the medication frequency and drug association and obtain potential new prescriptions. The interaction between drug targets in new prescriptions was analyzed by Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform（TCMSP），STRING，and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes（KEGG）， followed by verification by molecular docking and experiments. ResultA total of 200 prescriptions were screened out， with 217 Chinese medicinal drugs involved， and eight new potential prescriptions were derived. In Prescription 1，18 main chemical components were screened out. Eighty targets of active components of Prescription 1 were predicted， and 37 potential targets for the treatment of CRF were obtained， including interleukin （IL）-6， vascular endothelial growth factor （VEGF）， cysteinyl aspartate-specific protease-3 （Caspase-3）， nitric oxide synthase 3 （NOS3）， and hypoxia-inducible factor-1 （HIF-1）. The KEGG pathways involved in the targets of Chinese medicinal drugs and disease mainly included the signaling pathways of lipid and atherosclerosis，NF-κB， Toll-like receptors， and HIF-1. Prescription 1 significantly decreased serum creatinine and urea nitrogen， and increased the content of NO and NOS3 in renal tissues of CRF rats. ConclusionPrescription 1 shows the multi-component and multi-target characteristics of action，and its mechanism may be related to its inhibition of renal fibrosis，anti-inflammation，improvement of intestinal microecology，and improvement of renal hypoxia and ischemia.

Spermatogonial stem cells (SSCs) have great applications in both reproductive and regenerative medicine. Primates including monkeys are very similar to humans with regard to physiology and pathology. Nevertheless, little is known about the isolation, the characteristics, and the culture of primate SSCs. This study was designed to identify, isolate, and culture monkey SSCs. Immunocytochemistry was used to identify markers for monkey SSCs. Glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor family receptor alpha-1 (GFRA1)-enriched spermatogonia were isolated from monkeys, namely Macaca fascicularis (M. fascicularis), by two-step enzymatic digestion and magnetic-activated cell sorting, and they were cultured on precoated plates in the conditioned medium. Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), immunocytochemistry, and RNA sequencing were used to compare phenotype and transcriptomes in GFRA1-enriched spermatogonia between 0 day and 14 days of culture, and xenotransplantation was performed to evaluate the function of GFRA1-enriched spermatogonia. SSCs shared some phenotypes with rodent and human SSCs. GFRA1-enriched spermatogonia with high purity and viability were isolated from M. fascicularis testes. The freshly isolated cells expressed numerous markers for rodent SSCs, and they were cultured for 14 days. The expression of numerous SSC markers was maintained during the cultivation of GFRA1-enriched spermatogonia. RNA sequencing reflected a 97.3% similarity in global gene profiles between 0 day and 14 days of culture. The xenotransplantation assay indicated that the GFRA1-enriched spermatogonia formed colonies and proliferated in vivo in the recipient c-Kit
