Objective To investigate the status of management of iodinated contrast media(ICM)extravasation in Henan Province,as well as nurses' knowledge and influencing factors,in order to provide a basis for optimizing management strategies. Methods A self-designed questionnaire was applied, employing convenience sampling,to survey nursing administrators and nurses in the radiology departments of 55 tertiary hospitals across 16 regions of Henan Province, from December 2024 to January 2025.Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted to explore the factors influencing nurses' knowledge. Results A total of 55 nursing administrators and 64 nurses participated, with a valid questionnaire response rate of 100%.The survey results reveal that only 5.45%of radiology depart-ments utilized high-pressure central venous catheters, and 32.73%employed vascular visualization techniques. When setting the high-pressure injection speed for ICM,only 54.55%of radiology departments required an assessment of the type and model of intravenous access.Additionally, only 9.09%of radiology departments mandated an observa-tion for 2 to 4 hours following ICM extravasation.Furthermore, only 50.91%of radiology departments had estab-lished an information system for ICM use.The nurses' knowledge score regarding the prevention and management of ICM extravasation was(90.00±17.59),influenced by years of experience in radiology and professional titles(P<0.05).Conclusion The prevention and management measures for ICM in radiology departments in Henan Province need further improvement.Nursing administrators should optimize management strategies, improve relevant training systems, and continuously enhance nurses' knowledge and practical abilities.

Objective:To explore the current status and influencing factors of fatigue in patients with Cushing syndrome in China, so as to provide a basis for clinical interventions. Methods:Convenience sampling was used to select 260 inpatients with Cushing syndrome who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria in 9 ClassⅢ Grade A hospitals within the 7 geographic subregions of China from February to April 2023 for the study. General Information Questionnaire, the Chinese version of the Multidimensional Fatigue Inventory-20, Barthel Index, and Self-Rating Depression Scale were used for the survey. Results:A total of 260 questionnaires were distributed and 241 valid questionnaires were recovered, with an effective recovery rate of 92.7% (241/260). The MFI-20 score of 241 patients with Cushing syndrome was 58.00 (46.00, 64.00). 65.1% (157/241) of patients with Cushing syndrome suffered from fatigue, and 73.2% (115/157) of patients with fatigue exhibited multidimensional fatigue. Univariate analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in fatigue scores among patients with Cushing syndrome with different cultural levels, recurrence frequency, activity of daily living, hypertension, and depression ( P<0.05). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that depression was a risk factor for fatigue in patients with Cushing syndrome, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Fatigue in patients with Cushing syndrome needs attention. Medical and nursing staff should pay close attention to the psychological status of patients with Cushing syndrome, encourage them to actively cope, alleviate their depression, in order to improve their fatigue.

Objective:To explore the relationship between serum omentin-1 and 25-hydroxyvitamin D 3 [25(OH)D 3] levels and bone age index (BAI), pelvic ultrasound findings in girls with central precocious puberty (CPP). Methods:This was a cross-sectional observational study. A total of 150 girls with CPP admitted to the Shaanxi Provincial People′s Hospital from October 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the CPP group, and 63 normal girls who underwent physical examination at the child health clinic during the same period were selected as the control group. Serum Omentin-1 and 25(OH)D 3 levels were detected; anteroposterior X-ray and pelvic ultrasound examinations were performed to obtain BAI, ovarian volume, and uterine volume. Pearson correlation analysis was used to evaluate the correlations of Omentin-1 and 25(OH)D 3 with BAI, ovarian volume, and uterine volume. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to screen the influencing factors of CPP, and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was drawn to analyze the value of Omentin-1 and 25(OH)D 3 in diagnosing CPP. Results:The serum levels of Omentin-1 and 25(OH)D 3 in the CPP group were lower than those in the control group (all P<0.05); BAI, uterine volume, and ovarian volume in the CPP group were larger than those in the control group, and the number of follicles with diameter ≥4 mm was more than that in the control group (all P<0.05). In girls with CPP, serum Omentin-1 and 25(OH)D 3 levels were negatively correlated with BAI, uterine volume, ovarian volume, and the number of follicles with diameter ≥4 mm (all P<0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that maternal menarche age ≤12 years, high BMI, high BAI, and high estradiol were risk factors for CPP (all P<0.05), while high Omentin-1 and high 25(OH)D 3 were protective factors for CPP (all P<0.05). The areas under the curve (AUC) of Omentin-1 and 25(OH)D 3 for diagnosing CPP were 0.799 and 0.808 respectively; the AUC of combined diagnosis was 0.886, which was higher than that of single diagnosis (all P<0.05). Conclusions:Decreased serum Omentin-1 and 25(OH)D 3 levels in girls with CPP are associated with high BAI and increased ovarian and uterine volumes. The combination of Omentin-1 and 25(OH)D 3 has high value in the diagnosis of CPP.

Journal of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2024;47(10):1474-1480
With the increasing incidence of cardiovascular diseases,Professor WANG Yongyan has adhered to the traditional principles while embracing innovation, proposing to apply the theory of"the heart governing the spirit"to the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. He emphasized that it is crucial to preserve the spirit before the onset of disease, which includes maintaining a balanced diet, regular lifestyle, avoiding excessive labor, maintaining a serene and unfettered mind, and nurturing the spirit within. For those already suffering from disease, preventing progression and deterioration requires adjusting the spirit, and skilled practitioners should first inspect the patient's spirit by examining the eyes, tongue, facial complexion, and overall physical condition. In treatment, adjusting the spirit involves distinguishing between different imbalances of qi,blood, yin, yang, cold, heat, deficiency, and excess, and employing appropriate method to calm and nourish the spirit accordingly. After the illness, nurturing the spirit is essential, including spiritual nourishment through exercise, dietary therapy, emotional therapy, and external treatments.By applying the theory of"the heart governing the spirit"throughout the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of cardiovascular diseases,Professor WANG Yongyan's approach effectively prevents the occurrence of cardiovascular diseases, controls their progression, inhibits deterioration, and improves the prognosis of patients.

Objective To establish sensitive indicators for the evaluation of emergency nursing quality in patients with acute aortic dissection. Methods Based on the three-dimensional quality theory model of "structure-process-outcome", evidence-based nursing methods were used to synthesize evidence and conduct two rounds of expert consultation to determine sensitive indicators for the quality of emergency nursing in patients with acute aortic dissection. Results The effective recovery rates of the two rounds of expert consultation questionnaires were 100.00% and 94.12%, respectively. The judgment basis coefficients (
