Objective:To investigate the effects of calf spleen extract(CSE)on immune function,serum ferritin levels,and adverse reactions in patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma undergoing adjuvant chemotherapy after surgery,and to verify its effects on esophageal cancer cell proliferation and apoptosis in vitro.Methods:A total of 96 postoperative chemotherapy patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma at Tianjin Cancer Hospital Airport Hospital were selected and randomly divided into control group and treatment group.They were treated with TP regimen as routine,and then treated with CSE in the treatment group.After the treatment was completed,adverse reactions and clinical reactions were observed in the two groups,and immune related indicators and ferritin levels were compared before and after treatment.Compared the disease free survival(DFS)differences between two groups of pa-tients during a follow-up period of 1 and 3 years.Using MTT assay to determine the IC50 value of CSE in esophageal cancer cells.Plate cloning method was used to detect the changes in the proliferation ability of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma cells induced by CSE.Comet assay detected DNA strand damage in esophageal cancer cells caused by CSE.Flow cytometry was used to detect the effect of CSE on apoptosis of esophageal cancer cells.Results:Comparison between the two groups of patients before and after treatment showed that CSE had a significant effect on CD3+T,CD4+T,CD8+T,CD4+T/CD8+T,Iron protein levels had an impact.CSE could alleviate the adverse reactions of postoperative chemotherapy in patients with esophageal cancer,and improve their quality of life and clinical symp-toms.CSE treatment could improve short-term DFS in postoperative patients with esophageal cancer.The IC50 concentration of CSE in esophageal cancer cells was 3.018 mg/ml;CSE could inhibit the proliferation of esophageal cancer cells and increase DNA strand dam-age in esophageal cancer cells.CSE can increase apoptosis of esophageal cancer cells.Conclusion:CSE can inhibit the proliferation of esophageal cancer cells,promote their apoptosis,and improve the quality of life and short-term DFS of esophageal cancer patients after treatment by regulating immune function and reducing adverse reactions.

Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) represents an aggressive breast cancer subtype with poor prognosis and limited targeted treatment options. This investigation examined the anti-cancer potential of Caerulomycin A (Cae A), a natural compound derived from marine actinomycetes, against TNBC. Cae A demonstrated selective inhibition of viability and proliferation in TNBC cell lines, including 4T1, MDA-MB-231, and MDA-MB-468, through apoptosis induction. Mechanistic analyses revealed that the compound induced sustained endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress and subsequent upregulation of C/EBP homologous protein (CHOP) expression, resulting in mitochondrial damage-mediated apoptosis. Inhibition of ER stress or CHOP expression knockdown reversed mitochondrial damage and apoptosis, highlighting the essential role of ER stress and CHOP in Cae A's anti-tumor mechanism. Both oxygen consumption rate (OCR) and extracellular acidification rate (ECAR) decreased in TNBC cells following Cae A treatment, indicating reduced mitochondrial respiratory and glycolytic capacities. This diminished energy metabolism potentially triggers ER stress and subsequent apoptosis. Furthermore, Cae A exhibited significant anti-tumor effects in the 4T1 tumor model in vivo without apparent toxicity. The compound also effectively inhibited human TNBC organoid growth. These results indicate that Cae A may serve as a potential therapeutic agent for TNBC, with its efficacy likely mediated through the disruption of glucose metabolism and the induction of ER stress-associated apoptosis.

Objective:To explore the correlation between screen sedentary behavior and sleep quality of the elderly people in the community, so as to provide a reference for improving sleep quality of the elderly people in the community.Methods:From November 2021 to April 2022, 627 older adults from 3 communities in Hefei, Anhui Province were selected as the research objects using the convenience sampling method. The General Information Questionnaire, Measure of Older Adults' Sedentary Time Questionnaire, and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) were used to investigate the elderly people in the community. Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyse the correlation between screen sedentary behavior and sleep quality of the elderly people in the community. The influencing factors of sleep quality were assessed by Binary Logistic regression. A total of 660 questionnaires were distributed and 627 valid questionnaires were recovered, with an effective recovery rate of 95.0% (627/660) .Results:The screen sedentary behavior time of 627 elderly people in the community was (3.53±1.52) h/d, the total score of PSQI was (7.11±3.58) , and the incidence of sleep disorders was 37.48% (235/627) . Pearson correlation analysis showed that screen sedentary positively correlated with the total score of PQSI ( r=0.466, P<0.01) . Binary Logistic regression analysis results showed that the screen sedentary behavior ( OR=1.892, 95% CI: 1.638-2.185) , female ( OR=1.963, 95% CI: 1.120-3.441) , self-reported poor health status ( OR=3.332, 95% CI: 1.380-8.043) were the risk factors of sleep quality of the elderly people in the community. Conclusions:The screen sedentary behavior and sleep quality of the elderly people in the community are not optimistic, and the screen sedentary behavior, female, self-reported poor health status are the risk factors of sleep quality of the elderly people in the community. Community health staff should develop targeted intervention strategies to help the elderly people in the community reduce screen sedentary behavior time and improve sleep quality.

ObjectiveTo investigate current status of hospital infection management in psychiatric hospitals in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region， so as to provide references for improving the level of hospital infection management of psychiatric hospitals. MethodsIn December 2020， on-site supervision was conducted on hospital infection management in all 9 psychiatric hospitals in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region， meantime， the self-compiled questionnaire on hospital infection management status was used for investigation. ResultsAmong the selected hospitals， nine （100.00%） psychiatric hospitals had the main hospital leaders in charge of hospital infection management， five （55.56%） hospitals had established a hospital infection management committee， six （66.67%） hospitals had established an independent hospital infection management department， and one （11.11%） hospital had developed all 13 systems mentioned in the questionnaire related to hospital infection management and job responsibilities. In terms of hospital infection management staff， there were 23 staff members in the nine psychiatric hospitals， including 3 in the specialty （13.04%） and 20 in the part-time setting （86.96%）. The score of the implementation of the basic system of hospital infection management in nine hospitals was （3.28±2.22）. ConclusionThe system specification related to hospital infection management in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region psychiatric hospitals needs to be improved and further strengthened， the professionalism of hospital infection management personnel needs to be improved.

Objective To observe the influence of nursing intervention on postpartum depression and breastfeeding compliance in primipara.Methods From August 2013 to April 2015,146 women received cesarean section in North Jiaochang Branch of Hanzhong Central Hospital were randomly divided into intervention group and control group with 73 cases in each group.The control group was treated with routine nursing measures,and the intervention group with both routine care and nursing intervention.Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) were used to evaluate the negative emotions of maternal postpartum.Breastfeeding Self-Efficacy Scale (BSES) were used to evaluate the confidence of maternal breast feeding.The breast feeding compliance between the two groups was compared.The breast feeding rates of the two groups were compared in 1 week and 1 month after discharge.Results Compared with the control group,the SDS and SAS scores of the intervention group were significantly lower (P＜0.05).The breastfeeding confidence of the intervention group was significantly better than the control group and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).The compliance of breast feeding of the intervention group was 97.26％ significantly higher than that of the control group (78.08％)with a statistically significant difference (P＜0.05).After one-week and one-month follow-up,the rate of breastfeeding of the intervention group was significantly higher than that of the control group (95.89％ VS 83.56％;91.78％ VS 72.60％,P＜0.05).Concltsion The nursing intervention measures for primipara after cesarean section can significantly break bad mood,enhance maternal breastfeeding confidence,increase the rate of breastfeeding compliance and are worthy of promotion.

Objective It is a tough job to rescue batches of patients with severe blast injury .The article aimed to construct specific technique system management in the rescue of batches of patients with severe blast injury and evaluate its effects . Methods Retrospective analysis was made on 9 patients with severe blast injury who hospitalized simultaneously .According to the difficulties in the nursing process of treating severe blast injury such as management of respiratory tract , continuous renal replacement therapy , vascular access, nutritional supply, skin nursing, etc, specific technique system management was constructed to evaluate technical support key points at different phases , including personalized nursing scheme with disease progression , professional nursing instruction on key points of different phases from specialists as well as corresponding nursing decision and professional caring . Results Specific technique system management was applied in these 9 patients with severe blast injury .Only 1 patients developed ventilator related pneumonia when receiving mechanical ventilation and no procedure related complications occurred in the aspects of blood purification , skin management , vascular access and nutrition support .6 patients discharged from hospital after recovery . Conclusion Specific techniques and systemic management in batch treatment of severe bast injury patients could help collaborative nursing , improve the management of specific management and prevent complication .

Background and objectivehTe prognosis for patients with lung cancer and brain metastases remains poor, with approximately 6 months of survival, despite active measures atfer treatment. In this study, we determined and ana-lyzed clinical parameters that affect the survival of patients with lung cancer and brain metastases to provide clinical guidance. MethodsLung cancer cases with brain metastases were retrospectively collected during 2002 and 2008 from Shanghai Chest Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University.Kaplan-Meier method andCox regression were performed for univariate and multi-variate analyses, respectively, to explore independent predictors inlfuencing the survival of patients with lung cancer and brain metastases.Results Age, Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status (ECOG PS), metastasis interval, number of metastasis, treatment method, treatment period, symptoms of brain metastases, extracranial metastasis, and brain metastasis order were factors that affect the survival of patients with brain metastases as conifrmed through theKaplan-Meiermethod. Treatment periods and extracranial metastasis were independent survival predictors in patients with lung cancer and brain me-tastasis as indicated byCox proportional hazard model.ConclusionTreatment periods and extracranial metastasis were inde-pendent predictors of survival of patients with lung cancer and brain metastasis. Objective To investigate the status of pregnancy syphilis screening ,diagnosis,treatment,follow-up in Panyu district for improvement of management of pregnancy syphilis .Methods Using the method of a retro-spective survey,the follow-up data for 219 cases of patients were diagnosed with gestational syphilis from 2011.10.1 to 2013.9.30.Results 219 cases were diagnosed with gestational syphilis in 103 665 cases of pregnant women .The positive rate was 2.1%and all cases were latent syphilis .176 cases underwent a course of treatment during pregnancy , of which 33 patients received two courses of standard treatment .40 cases didn't receive treatment and 3 cases could not be followed up due to the phone empty ,shut down or refuse .14 cases were congenital syphilis ,the rate was 6.4%. Conclusion Pregnancy syphilis is a serious mother to child transmission of disease .After standard treatment ,close follow-up,strengthen publicity and education to improve patient compliance can reduce the incidence of congenital syphilis.

Objective To investigate the life quality changes and influencing factors of acute coronary syn -drome after stent implantation .Methods 100 cases with acute coronary syndrome received stent implantation were selected .SF-36 life quality questionnaire was used to survey the patients′life quality before operation and 6 months af-ter operation,and the life quality changes and influence factors were analyzed .Results 6 months after operation,the physical activity ,mental health ,social activities ,physical pain ,physical function ,physical role ,energy and health score of the patients were higher than before operation (P<0.05).According to Logistic regression analysis ,female,type 2 diabetes,underwent percutaneous coronary intervention ,ST-T segment elevation myocardial infarction were the im-portant factors affecting patients′recovery(P<0.05).Conclusion 6 months after stent implantation,the life quality of the patients with acute coronary syndrome were improved obviously;the female and underwent percutaneous coro-nary intervention have positive influence on patients′recovery,while type 2 diabetes,ST-T segment elevation myocar-dial infarction affect patients′recovery in negative way .
