1.The impact of body constitutional metabolic phenotype on the outcomes of hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage patients one year after onset.

Objective:To explore the impact of body constitutional metabolic phenotype on the outcomes of hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage (HICH) patients one year after onset.Methods:This study retrospectively studied the clinical data of 467 HICH patients admitted to the First People's Hospital of Lianyungang City from May 2021 to May 2023. Based on telephone follow-up after one year, the patients were categorized into two groups: a good outcome group (287 cases) and a poor outcome group (180 cases). According to the patients' body mass index (BMI) and metabolic status, the population was divided into six phenotypes: metabolically healthy with normal weight (MH-NW), metabolically healthy with overweight (MH-OW), metabolically healthy obesity (MHO), metabolically unhealthy normal weight (MU-NW), metabolically unhealthy with overweight (MU-OW), and metabolically unhealthy with obesity (MUO). The baseline data of the two groups were compared between two groups. The influencing factors of adverse outcomes in patients with HICH one year after onset were analyzed. Quantitative data that conforms to normal distribution were represented by xˉ±s, and independent sample t-test was used for comparison between two groups; The measurement data of skewed distribution was represented by M ( Q1, Q3), and Mann Whitney U test was used for comparison between the two groups; Count data was presented as an example (%), and comparison between groups was conducted using the χ2 test. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of poor prognosis in HICH patients one year after onset. Results:BMI, high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C) levels and baseline Glasgow coma score(GCS) score in the poor outcome group were lower than those in the good outcome group [23.8 (22.4, 26.1) kg/m 2 vs. 25.0 (22.5, 27.4) kg/m 2, Z=-2.31, P=0.021; 1.1 (1.0,1.4) mmol/L vs. 1.3 (1.0,1.6) mmol/L, Z=-4.18, P<0.001; 14 (13,15) score vs. 10 (7,13) score, Z=-10.20, P<0.001]. The incidence of hemorrhage into the ventricle, cerebral hernia, pulmonary infection and hydrocephalus [43.3%(78/180) vs. 23.7% (68/287). 5.6%(10/180) vs. 0.7% (2/287), 48.9%(88/180) vs. 6.6% (19/287), 5.0%(9/180) vs. 1.4% (4/287), χ2=19.86, P<0.001, χ2=10.43, P<0.001, χ2=111.90, P<0.001, χ2=5.32, P=0.021], proportion of surgical removal of hematoma [41.1%(74/180) vs. 19.5% (56/287), χ2=25.69, P<0.001], systolic blood pressure [158 (141,173) mmHg vs. 152 (138,169) mmHg, Z=-2.18, P=0.029] and fasting blood glucose [6.9 (5.7,8.2) mmol/L vs. 6.3 (5.4,7.8) mmol/L, Z=-2.08, P=0.038] were higher than those in good outcome group. The metabolic phenotypes in the poor conversion group were as follows: 41 cases (22.8%) of MH-NW, 23 cases (12.8%) of MH-OW, 9 cases (5.0%) of MHO, 54 cases (30.0%) of MU-NW, 33 cases (18.3%) of MU-OW, and 20 cases (11.1%) of MUO. Conversely, the metabolic phenotypes in the good conversion group were as follows: 67 cases (23.3%) of MH-NW, 77 cases (26.8%) of MH-OW, 31 cases (10.8%) of MHO, 40 cases (13.9%) of MU-NW, 46 cases (16.0%) of MU-OW, and 26 cases (9.1%) of MUO. Regarding metabolic types, the poor conversion group comprised 73 healthy cases (40.6%) and 107 unhealthy cases (59.4%), whereas the good conversion group had 177 healthy cases (61.7%) and 110 unhealthy cases (38.3%). In terms of body mass, the poor conversion group included 94 cases (52.2%) of normal weight, 57 cases (31.7%) of overweight, and 29 cases (16.1%) of obesity. Conversely, the good conversion group had 108 cases (37.6%) of normal weight, 122 cases (42.5%) of overweight, and 57 cases (19.9%) of obesity.There were statistically significant differences in the composition ratios of physical metabolic phenotype, metabolic type, and xBMI type between the two groups of patients ( χ2=29.56, P<0.001, χ2=19.83, P<0.001, χ2=9.68, P=0.008). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that after adjusting for other risk factors related to the prognosis of HICH, HDL-C ( OR=0.30, 95% CI: 0.12-0.75, P=0.010), admission GCS score ( OR=0.71, 95% CI:0.64-0.79, P<0.001), MH-OW ( OR=0.38, 95% CI: 0.17-0.82, P=0.013) and MHO ( OR=0.30, 95% CI:0.09-0.99, P=0.048) were all protective factors for adverse outcomes in patients with HICH 1 year after the onset of the disease, and hemorrhage into the ventricle ( OR=2.46, 95% CI:1.41-4.32, P=0.002) and pulmonary infection ( OR=9.13, 95% CI: 4.78- 17.44, P<0.001) were risk factors for adverse outcomes. Conclusions:MH-OW and MHO are beneficial to the prognosis of HICH patients 1 year after the onset of HICH. The secondary prevention of HICH patients should pay attention to the BMI level and comprehensive metabolic status of the patients.
2.Risk factors of anastomotic stenosis after esophageal cancer surgery

Objective To investigate the risk factors for postoperative anastomotic stenosis in esophageal cancer patients.Methods A total of 200 patients who underwent radical esophageal cancer resection at the First Affiliated Hospital of Dali University from July 2015 to June 2024 were selected as subjects.The patients were divided into stenosis group(n=100)and non-stenosis group(n=100)based on whether they had benign anastomotic stenosis.Comparative analyses were conducted regarding the first feeding time,surgical duration,use of non-linear anastomotic devices,and anastomotic leakage in both groups.The independent risk factors for benign postoperative anastomotic stenosis were systematically evaluated.Results Delayed initial postoperative feeding,non-linear anastomotic devices,anastomotic leakage,and persistent postoperative hypoxemia were identified as risk factors for anastomotic stenosis in esophageal cancer patients after neck anastomosis.Balloon dilation-induced bleeding and early postoperative feeding within 12h served as protective factors(P<0.05).Conclusion The development of anastomotic stenosis in esophageal cancer patients following neck anastomosis may be associated with delayed initial feeding,non-linear anastomotic devices,anastomotic leakage,and persistent hypoxemia.
3.Analysis of the current status of red blood cell transfusion in very preterm infants from Chinese Neonatal Network in 2022

Objective:To analyze the current status of red blood cell transfusion in very preterm infants (VPI) (gestational age at birth <32 weeks) from Chinese Neonatal Network (CHNN) in 2022.Methods:This cross-sectional study was based on the CHNN VPI cohort. It included 6 985 VPI admitted to CHNN 89 participating centers within 24 hours after birth in 2022. VPI with major congenital anomalies or those transferred to non-CHNN centers for treatment or discharged against medical advice were excluded. VPI were categorized based on whether they received red blood cell transfusions, their gestational age at birth, the type of respiratory support received during transfusion, and whether the pre-transfusion hemoglobin levels exceeded the thresholds. General characteristics, red blood cell transfusion rates, number of transfusions, timing of the first transfusion, and pre-transfusion hemoglobin levels were compared among different groups. The incidence of adverse outcomes between the group of VPI who received transfusions above the threshold and those who received transfusions below the threshold were compared. Comparison among different groups was conducted using χ2 tests, Kruskal-Wallis H tests, Mann-Whitney U test, and so on. Trends by gestational age at birth were evaluated by Cochran-Armitage tests and Jonckheere-Terpstra tests for trend. Results:Among the 6 985 VPI, 3 865 cases(55.3%) were male, with a gestational age at birth of 30.0 (28.6, 31.0) weeks and a birth weight of (1 302±321) g. Overall, 3 617 cases (51.8%) received red blood cell transfusion, while 3 368 cases (48.2%) did not. The red blood cell transfusion rate was 51.8% (3 617/6 985), with rates of 77.7% (893/1 150) for those born before 28 weeks gestational age and 46.7% (2 724/5 835) for those born between 28 and 31 weeks gestational age. A total of 9 616 times red blood cell transfusions were administered to 3 617 VPI, with 632 times missing pre-transfusion hemoglobin data, and 8 984 times included in the analysis. Of the red blood cell transfusions, 25.6% (2 459/9 616) were administered when invasive respiratory support was required, 51.3% (4 934/9 616) were receiving non-invasive respiratory support, while 23.1% (2 223/9, 616) were given when no respiratory support was needed. Compared to the non-transfusion group, the red blood cell transfusion group had a higher rate of pregnancy-induced hypertension in mothers, lower rates of born via cesarean section and mother′s antenatal steroid administration, smaller gestational age, lower birth weight, a higher proportion of small-for-gestational-age, multiple births, and proportions of Apgar score at the 5 th minute after birth ≤3 (all P<0.05). They were also less likely to be female, born in hospital or undergo delayed cord clamping (all P<0.01). Additionally, higher transport risk index of physiologic stability score at admission were observed in the red blood cell transfusion group ( P<0.001). The number of red blood cell transfusion was 2 (1, 3) times, with the first transfusion occurring at an age of 18 (8, 29) days, and a pre-transfusion hemoglobin level of 97 (86, 109) g/L. For VPI ≤7 days of age, the pre-transfusion hemoglobin levels for invasive respiratory support, non-invasive respiratory support, or no respiratory support, respectively, with no statistically significant differences between groups ( H=5.59, P=0.061). For VPI aged 8 to 21 days and≥22 days, the levels with statistically differences between groups (both P<0.01). Red blood cell transfusions above recommended thresholds were observed in all respiratory support categories at different stages of life, with the highest prevalence in infants aged 8 to 21 days and≥22 days who did not require respiratory support, at 90.1% (264/273) and 91.1%(1 578/1 732), respectively. The rate of necrotizing enterocolitis was higher in the above-threshold group ( χ2=10.59, P=0.001), and the duration of hospital stay was longer in the above-threshold group ( Z=4.67, P<0.001) compared to the below-threshold group. Conclusions:In 2022, the red blood cell transfusion rate was relatively high among VPI from CHNN. Pre-transfusion hemoglobin levels frequently exceeded recommended transfusion thresholds.
4.The clinical value of NHR combined with MLR for predicting early rebleeding after endoscopic treatment in patients with cirrhosis complicated by acute esophageal-gastric variceal rupture and bleeding

Objective To evaluate the predictive value of neutrophil/high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio(NHR)combined with monocyte/lymphocyte ratio(MLR)for early rebleeding after endoscopic treatment in patients with cirrhosis complicated by acute esophagogastric variceal bleeding(AEVB).Methods A total of 228 patients with cirrhosis complicated by AEVB were included in this study.According to the occurrence of early rebleeding,patients were divided into the rebleeding group(96 cases)and the non-rebleeding group(132 cases).General information and laboratory indicators of both groups were collected,and the End-Stage Liver Disease(MELD)score,Child-Turcotte-Pugh(CTP)score,Fibrosis-4(FIB-4)index,NHR,and MLR were calculated.Logistic regression analysis was used to identify the risk factors for early rebleeding in patients with cirrhosis complicated by AEVB.A nomogram model based on NHR and MLR was constructed to predict the risk of early rebleeding.The predictive performance and goodness of fit of the model were evaluated using receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve,Hosmer-Lemeshow test,Net Reclassification Index(NRI)and Integrated Discrimination Improvement(IDI).Results Compared with the non-rebleeding group,systolic blood pressure,platelet count(PLT),albumin/globulin ratio(A/G)and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)were decreased in the rebleeding group,while total bile acids(TBA),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),alanine aminotransferase(ALT),total bilirubin(TBIL),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),thrombin time(TT),international normalized ratio(INR),Fibrosis-4(FIB-4),NHR,MLR,MELD score and CTP score were increased(P<0.05).NHR was positively correlated with AST,TBIL and INR(P<0.05).MLR was negatively correlated with PLT,and positively correlated with AST,TBIL and FIB-4(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis results showed that prolonged TT,elevated NHR and MLR were independent risk factors for early rebleeding in patients with cirrhosis complicated by AEVB.The nomogram model based on NHR and MLR to predict early rebleeding had an area under the curve of 0.810(95%CI:0.754-0.866).The Hosmer-Lemeshow test suggested that the model fit well.IDI and NRI analyse showed that the combination of NHR and MLR had better predictive value for the early rebleeding than that of MELD score and CTP score.Conclusion NHR and MLR are effective indicators for predicting early rebleeding after endoscopic treatment in patients with cirrhosis complicated by AEVB.They are helpful in the early identification of high-risk patients and provide a reference for clinical intervention.

A chemical investigation of secondary metabolites (SMs) from Aspergillus nidulans resulted in the identification of five novel dioxopiperazine (DKP)-diphenyl ether hybrids, designated as diphenylemestrins A-E (1-5). These compounds 1-5 represent the first known dimers combining DKP and diphenyl ether structures, with compound 4 featuring an uncommon dibenzofuran as the diphenyl ether component. The structural elucidation and determination of absolute stereochemistry were accomplished through spectroscopic analysis and electronic circular dichroism (ECD) calculations. Notably, diphenylemestrin C (3) exhibited moderate cytostatic activity against NB4 cells, with a half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) value of 21.99 μmol·L-1, and induced apoptosis at higher concentrations.

6.Value of bedside capsule endoscopy in patients with acute or severe gastrointestinal bleeding

Objective:To analyze the diagnostic value of bedside capsule endoscopy in patients with acute or severe gastrointestinal bleeding.Methods:Clinical data from patients who underwent bedside capsule endoscopy due to acute or severe suspected gastrointestinal bleeding in Nanfang Hospital, Southern Medical University from June 2018 to September 2021 were analyzed retrospectively. The efficacy of capsule endoscopy in detecting upper gastrointestinal tract and small intestinal bleeding was evaluated.Results:A total of 74 patients underwent bedside capsule endoscopy for suspected acute or severe gastrointestinal bleeding. Five patients were excluded due to failure of examination due to retention of capsule endoscope in the gastric lumen, and 69 were included in the study, of whom 54 patients with a definitive diagnosis of gastrointestinal hemorrhage. The positive detection rate of the capsule endoscopy was 83.33% (45/54), including 17 cases of ulcer, 5 cases of erosion, 5 cases of vascular malformation, 4 protrusion mass, 4 diverticulum, 5 obscure gastrointestinal bleeding, 1 stenosis , 1 active mucosal blood exudation, 1 gastric retention, 1 mucosal swelling, and 1 mucosal wrinkle change. The sensitivity and specificity of capsule endoscopy in the diagnosis of upper gastrointestinal bleeding were 92.31% (12/13) and 75.00% (3/4) respectively. The sensitivity and specificity of capsule endoscopy for diagnosing small intestinal bleeding were 80.49% (33/41) and 90.91% (10/11) respectively.Conclusion:Bedside capsule endoscopy demonstrates high sensitivity and specificity in the diagnosis of gastrointestinal bleeding, showing potential advantages in bedside applications for acute and severe gastrointestinal bleeding.

Objective To understand the changing composition and antibiotic resistance of bacterial species in the clinical isolates from outpatient and emergency department(hereinafter referred to as outpatients)and inpatient children over time in various hospitals,and to provide laboratory evidence for rational antibiotic use.Methods The data on clinically isolated pathogenic bacteria and antimicrobial susceptibility of isolates from outpatients and inpatient children in the CHINET program from 2015 to 2021 were collected and analyzed.Results A total of 278 471 isolates were isolated from pediatric patients in the CHINET program from 2015 to 2021.About 17.1%of the strains were isolated from outpatients,primarily group A β-hemolytic Streptococcus,Escherichia coli,and Staphylococcus aureus.Most of the strains(82.9%)were isolated from inpatients,mainly SS.aureus,E.coli,and H.influenzae.The prevalence of methicillin-resistant S.aureus(MRSA)in outpatients(24.5%)was lower than that in inpatient children(31.5%).The MRSA isolates from outpatients showed lower resistance rates to the antibiotics tested than the strains isolated from inpatient children.The prevalence of vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecalis or E.faecium and penicillin-resistant S.pneumoniae was low in either outpatients or inpatient children.S.pneumoniae,β-hemolytic Streptococcus and S.viridans showed high resistance rates to erythromycin.The prevalence of erythromycin-resistant group A β-hemolytic Streptococcus was higher in outpatients than that in inpatient children.The prevalence of β-lactamase-producing H.influenzae showed an overall upward trend in children,but lower in outpatients(45.1%)than in inpatient children(59.4%).The prevalence of carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae(CRKpn),carbapenem-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa(CRPae)and carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii(CRAba)was 14%,11.7%,47.8%in outpatients,but 24.2%,20.6%,and 52.8%in inpatient children,respectively.The prevalence of multidrug-resistant E.coli,K.pneumoniae,Proteus mirabilis,P.aeruginosa and A.baumannii strains was lower in outpatients than in inpatient children.The prevalence of fluoroquinolone-resistant E.coli,ESBLs-producing K.pneumoniae,ESBLs-producing P.mirabilis,carbapenem-resistant E.coli(CREco),CRKpn,and CRPae was lower in children in outpatients than in inpatient children,but the prevalence of CRAba in 2021 was higher than in inpatient children.Conclusions The distribution of clinical isolates from children is different between outpatients and inpatients.The prevalence of MRSA,ESBL,and CRO was higher in inpatient children than in outpatients.Antibiotics should be used rationally in clinical practice based on etiological diagnosis and antimicrobial susceptibility test results.Ongoing antimicrobial resistance surveillance and prevention and control of hospital infections are crucial to curbing bacterial resistance.

Objective To investigate the changing antibiotic resistance profiles of E.coli isolated from patients in the 52 hospitals participating in the CHINET program from 2015 to 2021.Methods Antimicrobial susceptibility was tested for clinical isolates of E.coli according to the unified protocol of CHINET program.WHONET 5.6 and SPSS 20.0 software were used for data analysis.Results Atotal of 289 760 nonduplicate clinical strains ofE.coli were isolated from 2015 to 2021,mainly from urine samples(44.7±3.2)%.The proportion of E.coli strains isolated from urine samples was higher in females than in males(59.0%vs 29.5%).The proportion of E.coli strains isolated from respiratory tract and cerebrospinal fluid samples was significantly higher in children than in adults(16.7%vs 7.8%,0.8%vs 0.1%,both P<0.05).The isolates from internal medicine department accounted for the largest proportion(28.9±2.8)%with an increasing trend over years.Overall,the prevalence of ESBLs-producing E.coli and carbapenem resistant E.coli(CREco)was 55.9%and 1.8%,respectively during the 7-year period.The prevalence of ESBLs-producing E.coli was the highest in tertiary hospitals each year from 2015 to 2021 compared to secondary hospitals.The prevalence of CREco was higher in children's hospitals compared to secondary and tertiary hospitals each year from 2015 to 2021.The prevalence of ESBLs-producing E.coli in tertiary hospitals and children's hospitals and the prevalence of CREco in children's hospitals showed a decreasing trend over the 7-year period.The prevalence of CREco in secondary and tertiary hospitals increased slowly.Antibiotic resistance rates changed slowly from 2015 to 2021.Carbapenem drugs(imipenem,meropenem)were the most active drugs amongβ-lactams against E.coli(resistance rate≤2.1%).The resistance rates of E.coli to β-lactam/β-lactam inhibitor combinations(piperacillin-tazobactam,cefoperazone-sulbactam),aminoglycosides(amikacin),nitrofurantoin and fosfomycin(for urinary isolates only)were all less than 10%.The resistance rate of E.coli strains to antibiotics varied with the level of hospitals and the departments where the strains were isolated,especially for cefazolin and ciprofloxacin,to which the resistance rate of E.coli strains from children in non-ICU departments was significantly lower than that of the strains isolated from other departments(P<0.05).The E.coli isolates from ICU showed higher resistance rate to most antimicrobial agents tested(excluding tigecycline)than the strains isolated from other departments.The E.coli strains isolated from tertiary hospitals showed higher resistance rates to the antimicrobial agents tested(excluding tigecycline,polymyxin B,cefepime and carbapenems)than the strains from secondary hospitals and children's hospitals.Conclusions E.coli is an important pathogen causing clinical infection.More than half of the clinical isolates produced ESBL.The prevalence of CREco is increasing in secondary and tertiary hospitals over the 7-year period even though the overall prevalence is still low.This is an issue of concern.
9.Correlations between cognitive function and DTI and CT perfusion imaging parameters before and after surgery in moyamoya disease patients with mild cognitive impairment

Objective:To evaluate the effect of superficial temporal artery to middle cerebral artery (STA-MCA) bypass on cognitive function, cerebral perfusion, and integrity of white matter tracts by comparing cognitive function scores, fractional anisotropy (FA), time to maximum (T max), and cerebral blood flow (CBF) at different time points before and after STA-MCA bypass, and analyze the relations of cognitive function with cerebral perfusion and white matter tract integrity so as to provide evidences for treatment of moyamoya disease (MMD) patients with mild cognitive impairment. Methods:A retrospective analysis was performed; 30 MMD patients with mild cognitive impairment received STA-MCA bypass at Department of Neurosurgery, Lianyungang Hospital Affiliated to Xuzhou Medical University (Lianyungang First People's Hospital) from January 2023 to August 2024 were enrolled. Before and 1, 3, and 6 months after STA-MCA bypass, all patients accepted Montreal cognitive assessment (MoCA), CT perfusion imaging, and diffusion tensor imaging (DTI). Differences in MoCA score, CBF, T max, and FA at different time points before and after surgery were compared. Spearman rank correlation was used to analyze the correlation of MoCA score with cerebral perfusion parameters and FA. Results:(1) In these MMD patients with mild cognitive impairment, CBF 3 and 6 months after STA-MCA bypass was significantly increased compared with that before STA-MCA bypass, and CBF 6 months after STA-MCA bypass was significantly higher than that 1 and 3 months after STA-MCA bypass ( P<0.05); T max 1, 3 and 6 months after STA-MCA bypass was significantly shortened compared with that before STA-MCA bypass, and T max 6 months after STA-MCA bypass was significantly shortened than that 1 and 3 months after STA-MCA bypass ( P<0.05); FA 6 months after STA-MCA bypass was significantly increased compared with that before, and 1 and 3 months after STA-MCA bypass ( P<0.05); MoCA score 6 months after STA-MCA bypass was significantly increased compared with that before and 1 month after STA-MCA bypass ( P<0.05). (2) In MMD patients with mild cognitive impairment, the preoperative MoCA score was positively correlated with preoperative CBF and FA ( r s=0.428, P=0.018; r s=0.438, P=0.015) and negatively correlated with preoperative T max ( r s=-0.380, P=0.039); 6 months after STA-MCA bypass, the MoCA score was positively correlated with CBF and FA ( r s=0.365, P=0.047; r s=0.400, P=0.028) and negatively correlated with T max ( r s=-0.371, P=0.043). Conclusion:STA-MCA bypass can improve cerebral perfusion, white matter fiber tract repair and cognitive function in MMD patients with mild cognitive impairment, and improvement of cognitive function is related to cerebral perfusion and white matter fiber tract repair.

Background:To compare the efficacy and safety of monthly administrations of gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) agonists LY01005 and Zoladex ? in Chinese patients with premenopausal breast cancer. Methods:From October 2020 to November 2021, 188 premenopausal breast cancer patients were enrolled in 34 hospitals and randomized 1:1 to receive either LY01005 or Zoladex ? every 28 days for a total of three injections. All patients concomitantly received oral tamoxifen (TAM). The primary efficacy endpoint was cumulative probability of maintaining menopausal level [oestradiol (E2) ≤30 pg/ml] from day 29 to day 85. The second efficacy endpoint included changes in E2, luteinizing hormone (LH), and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) compared with the baseline. Pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD), and safety were analyzed. The study also evaluated the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic characteristics of LY01005. Results:A total of 188 patients were randomised and 187 patients received either LY01005 or Zoladex ?. Cumulative probabilities of maintaining menopausal level (E2≤30 pg/ml) from day 29 to day 85 were 93.1% for LY01005 and 86.3% for Zoladex ?. The between-group difference was 6.8% (95% CI: -2.3%, 15.9%) and primary efficacy in the LY01005 group was not inferior to that in the Zoladex ? group. Changes in E2, LH, and FSH levels compared with the baseline were equivalent between the two groups (E2: 89.34% to 90.23% vs. 82.11% to 85.02%; LH: 88.89% to 95.52% vs. 89.70% to 97.02%; FSH: 75.36% to 80.85% vs.73.07% to 80.24%, respectively). After three consecutive doses of LY01005, the LH and FSH levels of the subjects showed a transient increase after the first dose, reached a peak on the second day and then started to decrease. The LH and FSH reached a lower level and remained at or below that level until the 85th day. Both treatments were well-tolerated. Conclusion:LY01005 is as effective as Zoladex ? in suppressing E2 to menopausal levels in Chinese patients with premenopausal breast cancer, with a similar safety profile.
