Objective To evaluate the efficacy of an information-based collaborative special improvement management model in reducing the incidences of falls,hospital-acquired pressure injuries(HAPI)and unplanned extubation among inpatients, hence to offer an effective management strategy. Methods This before-after controlled study included 779,249 inpatients from 1st January,2018 to 31st December,2023.A total 360,484 inpatients were assigned to the pre-implementation group(January 2018-December 2020)and received conventional nursing safety management, while 418,765 inpatients were assigned to the post-implementation group(January 2021-December 2023)and managed with an information-based collaborative special improvement management model. The two groups were compared with total incidence of nursing-related adverse events, rates of falls,HAPI,and unplanned extubation. Results In comparison with the pre-implementation group, the post-implementation group showed significant reductions in rates of total nursing-related adverse event(from 0.0960%to 0.0602%,P<0.01),HAPI(all unavoidable pressure injury)(from 0.0122%to 0.0050%,P<0.01),and unplanned extubation(from 0.0584‰ to 0.0297‰,P<0.01).Falling rate decreased from 0.0267‰ to 0.0263‰,but without significantly different(P>0.05).All four indicators demonstrated an annually downward trends after implementation of the information-based collaborative special improvement management model. Conclusion The information-based collaborative special improvement management model effectively reduces major nursing-related adverse events and enhances the safety of inpatient.

[Objective]To summarize SUN Simiao's clinical experience in treating vomiting and explore the modern application of SUN's method for treating vomiting, taking diabetic gastroparesis vomiting(DGPV)as an example.[Methods]By excavating and organizing the special chapters or paragraphs related to vomiting in SUN Simiao's works Emergency Thousand Gold Prescriptions and Thousand Gold Wing Prescriptions,it comprehensively analyzes SUN's understanding of the causes and treatment of vomiting, and applies it to clinical practice based on the pathogenesis of DGPV.[Results]Vomiting is a common clinical symptom of digestive tract abnormalities.Although conventional western medicine treatment can temporarily alleviate vomiting,it is prone to recurrence.SUN Simiao had profound insights in the diagnosis and treatment of vomiting, believing that"abnormal lifting and descending of the middle-Jiao,upward invasion of stomach Qi""cold, heat, phlegm, water, food and various evils invading the middle-Jiao"and"long-term illness injuring the five Zang organs and insufficient Qi and blood"were the core pathogenesis of vomiting.Through inductive analysis of his works, six methods and corresponding prescriptions can be extracted:harmonizing the stomach and descending Qi to stop vomiting, warming Yang and dispelling cold to stop vomiting, resolving phlegm and promoting diuresis to stop vomiting, digesting food and resolving stagnation to stop vomiting, clearing heat and nourishing fluids to stop vomiting, and regulating organs and tonifying deficiency to stop vomiting. In the clinical treatment of DGPV,small prescriptions and corner herbs for treating vomiting should be used in a targeted manner based on the core pathogenesis of different stages.[Conclusion]SUN Simiao's thoughts on treating vomiting still have certain application value in modern medicine and provide guidance for clinical treatment of vomiting such as DGPV.

Spinal surgical site infection (SSI), especially deep SSI after internal fixation is difficult in treatment, with long course of disease and poor prognosis. At present, there are many controversies in the diagnosis and treatment of spinal SSI, with unsatisfactory overall efficacy of its diagnosis and treatment. Besides, no diagnosis and treatment guideline based on evidence-based medicine has been in existence. To this end, the Spinal Infection Group of the Orthopedic Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and the Spinal Infection Group of the Spinal Surgery Branch of the Chinese Rehabilitation Medicine Association jointly organized relevant experts to formulate Evidence-based clinical guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of surgical site infection in spinal trauma ( version 2024) based on an evidence-based approach. A total of 10 recommendations were proposed on the diagnosis and treatment of spinal SSI, so as to provide a clinical reference for the diagnosis and treatment of spinal SSI.

Androgenetic alopecia (AGA) is currently the most common hair loss disease, which is the result of a combination of genetic and environmental factors, and manifests itself as miniaturization of hair follicles around the top of the head and frontotemporal region, which eventually leads to hair reduction or disappearance. The pathogenesis of AGA is closely related to a variety of signaling pathways, which include the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, bone-forming protein (BMP) signaling pathway, insulin-like growth factor (IGF) signaling pathway, fibroblast growth factor (FGF) signaling pathway, hedgehog (SHH) signaling pathway, and so on. Several cytokines are involved in these signaling pathways, including β-catenin, BMP2, IGF-1, and FGF5. An in-depth study of AGA-related signaling pathways and related cytokines can help to provide a comprehensive understanding of the pathogenesis of AGA, provide a certain theoretical basis for the discovery of new signaling pathways, and provide a new research direction for the treatment of AGA.

【Objective】 To explore the current status of positive psychological qualities among college students who had participated in voluntary blood donation in Changsha area, so as to demonstrate that scientific blood donation can promote mental health. 【Methods】 From May to June 2022, 1 440 college students in Changsha was selected as the research subjects by stratified random sampling method. They were divided into groups based on their experience of blood donation. A questionnaire survey was conducted using the General Information Questionnaire, the Chinese College Student Positive Psychological Product Quality Scale, and the Repeated Blood Donation Behavior Survey Scale. 【Results】 There were differences in the six dimensions of positive psychological quality among different family and friends in terms of their support for blood donation, blood donation status among different family members, understanding of voluntary blood donation knowledge (P<0.05). There were differences in positive psychological qualities among different levels of blood reimbursement experiences (cognitive dimension, moderation dimension, transcendence dimension), different blood donation times (moderation dimension, interpersonal dimension), different blood donation volumes (moderation dimension, fairness dimension), different comprehensive blood donation experiences (moderation dimension, transcendence dimension, interpersonal dimension, emotional dimension) and reasons for blood donation (cognitive dimension, moderation dimension, interpresonal dimension, emotional dimension, fairness dimension)(P<0.05). The positive psychological quality of college students was positively correlated with their intention to repeat blood donation behavior (P<0.01), and the difference was statistically significant. 【Conclusion】 The positive psychological quality of college students with blood donation experience in Changsha surpassed those without blood donation experience, and their positive psychological quality was positively correlated to their intention to repeated blood donation. Therefore, it is recommended to encourage voluntary blood donation among college students.

Postoperative thyroid scar not only causes itching, pain, and pulling, but also seriously affects the patient’s aesthetics, so it is important to study the prevention and treatment of postoperative thyroid scar. In the past 20 years, clinicians have made many innovative researches to alleviate postoperative thyroid scar growth, and the following progresses have been made: firstly, thyroid surgery methods and surgical accesses have been improved to a certain extent, resulting in more concealed and less traumatic accesses; secondly, the use of lasers and silicone and other drugs has significantly improved the scar treatment effect; thirdly, the concept of "cosmetic" is gradually gaining popularity, and related technical means are used throughout the treatment of postoperative scarring of the thyroid gland, and multiple treatment modalities are used "early" and "in combination" to "prevent" scar growth after surgery. The use of multiple treatment modalities to prevent scar growth in the early postoperative period has achieved twice the result with half the effort.
