Objective:To observe the effect of ankle joint proprioception training on ankle joint proprioception, balance and gait in patients with thalamic infarction.Methods:Fifty-six patients with thalamic infarction were divided into a control group and a treatment group, each of 28, using a random number table. Both groups were given conventional lower limb rehabilitation training, but the treatment group was additionally provided with ankle joint proprioception training. Before and after 4 weeks of the treatment, the Tecnobody proprioception testing system was used to determine the average trajectory error rate (ATE) and the time taken in the test. The Berg Balance Scale (BBS) and a balance tester were used to assess balance. A gait analyzer was used to collect spatial-temporal measures of the patients′ walking, including the stride amplitude, stride rate, the proportion of the time spent in the swing phase, and foot dorsiflexion and plantarflexion angles.Results:After the treatment, the time used, ATE, ankle proprioception, BBS scores, static balance test scores, stability limits, stride length, stride rate, swing phase time percentage, and foot dorsiflexion and plantarflexion angles had improved in both groups compared with before the treatment ( P≤0.05). Compared with the control group, the treatment group had a smaller average ATE, spent less time on the ankle proprioception test, had higher BBS scores, had lower scores on the static balance test, had larger limits of stability, took longer strides at a faster rate, and spent a greater percentage of time in the swing phase. That group also showed greater ankle dorsiflexion and plantarflexion on average ( P≤0.05). ATE difference of the affected lower limb and the time to complete the ankle proprioception test were positively correlated with the gap in the static balance ability test, and negatively correlated with the gaps in the BBS score, the limits of stability, stride length, stride rate, and the time share of the swing phase, as well as the dorsiflexion and plantarflexion angles of the foot. Conclusions:Ankle proprioception training, in addition to effectively improving ankle proprioception, can improve the balance and gait of persons with thalamic infarction. It is worthy of clinical application and promotion.

Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy and impact on quality of life of the biofeedback (BF) therapy combined with the Wenyang Yiqi Prescription and self-efficacy interventions in patients with functional defecation disorders (FDD).Methods:A prospective, randomized controlled trial design was employed. A total of 128 FDD patients were selected from the Pelvic Floor Center of the Department of Proctology, Suzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, between January 2021 and April 2023. These patients were randomly divided into two groups, with 64 cases in each group. Additionally, 41 historical control patients, who had received conventional BF training between June 2015 and January 2018 at the same center, were included for comparison. The historical control group received conventional BF therapy, the intervention group 1 combined BF therapy with self-efficacy interventions, and the intervention group 2 added the Wenyang Yiqi Prescription based on intervention group 1's treatment. All three groups underwent two treatment courses. Constipation symptom scores before and after treatment were performed; self-efficacy was assessed via the Self-Rated Abilities for Health Practices scale (SRAHP); health behaviors were evaluated using the Health-Promoting Lifestyle Profile (HPLP); anxiety and depression were evaluated through Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS); quality of life was measured through SF-36. Clinical efficacy was evaluated based on constipation symptom scores.Results:During the treatment period, seven patients dropped out due to personal reasons, leaving 61 patients in intervention group 1 and 60 patients in intervention group 2 for efficacy analysis.　The total effective rates were 80.32% (49/61) in intervention group 1, 83.33% (50/60) in intervention group 2, and 56.10% (23/41) in the historical control group. The total effective rates of both intervention groups were significantly higher than those in the historical control group ( χ2=7.06, 9.15; P=0.029, 0.010, respectively). After treatment, intervention group 2 showed significantly lower constipation-related straining scores [1 (1, 2) vs. 2 (1, 2), Z=-4.51] compared to intervention group 1 ( P<0.05). Additionally, intervention group 2 had lower scores for straining [1 (1, 2) vs. 2 (1, 2), Z=-3.15] and defecation time [1 (0, 1) vs. 1 (1, 2), Z=-3.13] compared to the historical control group ( P<0.05). Psychological comfort efficacy (19.13 ± 2.51 vs. 16.98 ± 1.86, t=5.36), health responsibility efficacy (23.63 ± 4.69 vs. 22.59 ± 3.05, t=2.06), and overall SRAHP scores (75.98 ± 4.44 vs. 72.33 ± 5.16, t=4.17) were higher in intervention group 2 compared to intervention group 1 ( P<0.05). The HPLP scores (79.33 ± 11.13 vs. 72.80 ± 9.20, t=3.10) of intervention group 2 were higher than those of the historical control group ( P<0.05). Emotional functioning scores (75.98 ± 18.45 vs. 68.92 ± 20.58 and 68.55 ± 18.21, F=20.91) in intervention group 2 were higher than in both intervention group 1 and the historical control group ( P<0.05). Conclusion:The combination of the Wenyang Yiqi Prescription with BF therapy and self-efficacy interventions effectively improves the clinical symptoms and quality of life in FDD patients.

Objective:To report the design,field investigation and main findings of mental health survey in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region,and to provide valid data for mental disorder prevention.Methods:According to the design of China Mental Health Survey,a cross-sectional study was conducted in 5 390 eligible participants se-lected by multi-stage sampling.The Composite International Diagnostic Interview was used to complete computer assisted personal interview.According to the diagnostic criterion of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorder,Fourth Edition(DSM-Ⅳ),the 12-month prevalence and lifetime prevalence were calculated using post-stratification weighting.Results:In 4 085 respondents interviewed in the survey,the 12-month prevalence rate of any mental disorder was 9.4％,and the lifetime prevalence was rate 15.1％.The prevalence rate in rural areas was higher than that in urban areas(10.9％vs 7.9％,P＜0.01).The prevalence rates of anxiety disorder and mood disorder in the female were higher than those in the male(5.3％vs.2.9％,4.9％vs.3.3％,Ps＜0.05),while the prevalence rates of substanceuse disorder and impulse-control disorder were higher in the male than those in the fe-male(2.5％vs.0.2％,2.3％vs.1.5％,Ps＜0.05).The 12-month prevalence rate of any mental disorder showed a decreasing trend with age growth.Among those who met any mental disorder's criteria,93.4％never sought help,and 57.5％of the help seekers didn't receive any effective help.Conclusion:Mental disorders have become an important public health problem in Ningxia,prevention and control measures should be taken accordingly.

Objective:To explore the prevalence of mood disorders and utilization of health services inadults in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region,thus providing the scientific basis for disease prevention and control.Methods:Using Composite International Diagnostic Interview with the criteria of the Diagnostic and Statis-tical Manual of Mental Disorders,Fourth Edition(DSM-Ⅳ),the first survey on mood disorders was carried out by multiple stage sampling.The Rao-Scott x2 test was used to compare the prevalence rate of mood disorders in popula-tions with different characteristics.Results:The 12-month prevalence rate of mood disorder was 4.0％,while life-time prevalence rate of mood disorder was 7.4％.The 12-month prevalence rate was higher in female than male(4.9 vs.3.3％),and the 12-month prevalence rate in rural area was higher than that in urban area(5.0％vs.3.0％)(Ps＜0.05).The 12-month prevalence rate of bipolar Ⅰ disorder decreased with age growth(P＜0.001),and the 12-month prevalence rate of any mood disorder and major depressive disorder decreased with the increase of education level(Ps＜0.05).Among those who met any mood disorder's criteria,92.6％never sought help,45.8％of the help secekers didn't receive any effective help.Conclusion:The prevalence of mood disorder in Ningxia adults is relatively high,but the utilization of mental health services is very low.Females,rural residents,and persons with low education level are the key groups for the prevention of mood disorder.

Background: Classical swine fever (CSF) is a severe infectious disease of pigs that causes significant economic losses to the swine industry. Objectives: This study developed a solid-phase blocking enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (spbELISA) method for the specific detection of antibodies against the CSF virus (CSFV) in porcine serum samples. Methods: A spbELISA method was developed based on the recombinant E2 expressed in Escherichia coli. The specificity of this established spbELISA method was evaluated using reference serum samples positive for antibodies against other common infectious diseases.The stability and sensitivity were evaluated using an accelerated thermostability test. Results: The spbELISA successfully detected the antibody levels in swine vaccinated with the C-strain of CSFV. In addition, the detection ability of spbELISA for CSFV antibodies was compared with that of other commercial ELISA kits and validated using an indirect immunofluorescence assay. The results suggested that the spbELISA provides an alternative, stable, and rapid serological detection method suitable for the large-scale screening of CSFV serum antibodies. Conclusions The spbELISA has practical applications in assessing the vaccination status of large pig herds.

Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is characterized by emotional regulation, interpersonal relationship, self-image and impulse control instability. It is a mental disorder with high morbidity, high mortality and difficult treatment. Psychotherapy is the main treatment for this disease. However, current mainstream psychotherapy, such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), has certain limitations, so it is necessary to find a more convenient and effective treatment method. Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), as the representative therapy of the third generation of cognitive therapy, aims to make individuals accept inevitable pain, find their own value and commit to action, and finally improve their psychological flexibility to live a meaningful life. ACT has been used in the treatment of a variety of mental disorders, and the effect is significant. By expounding the pathogenesis of BPD and the theoretical model of ACT, this paper analyzed the rationality and feasibility of ACT intervention in BPD from the pathological model and treatment model of ACT. Finally, the research results of ACT treating BPD in recent years were summarized. The results show that ACT provides a promising method for the treatment of BPD patients, however, more studies are needed to prove its use in this group and its specific mechanism.

Objective To investigate the effect of vitamin D on platelet reactivity after combined treatment with aspirin and clopidogrel in elderly patients with ischemic stroke??Methods A total of 190 elderly patients with ischemic stroke treated with aspirin and clopidogrel in Beijing Bo′ai Hospital from June 2017 to August 2018 were enrolled in this study??Venous blood was collected for platelet aggregation rate,25?hydroxyvitamin D[25(OH)D] and clinical biochemical indexes during 1～2 weeks??According to 25 (OH) D quartile,the patients were further divided into Q1(≤7??18 μg／L) group ( n＝50),Q2: (＞7??18－≤9??39 μg／L) group (n＝50),Q3: (＞9??39－≤13??74 μg／L) group (50),Q4: (＞13??74 μg／L) (n＝40)??In order to evaluate the effect of calcitriol on platelet aggregation,platelet rich plasma ( PRP) in healthy group (15 cases) and clopidogrel resistance group (15 cases) were treated with calcitriol (10 nmol／L) and saline (37℃ pretreatment for 5 minutes),respectively,and to compare the difference of maximum platelet aggregation rate induced by ADP between the two treatments??Results There were significant differences in ADP? induced maximum platelet aggregation rate ( MPAR) (( 49??36 ± 23??34)%,( 48??80 ± 20??90)%, ( 37??02 ±18??24)%,(36??02± 14??46)%, F＝ 3??426, P＝ 0??018) and clopidogrel resistance ( CR)／ clopidogrel sensitive (CS) ratio (30／20,24／26,15／35,10／30,χ2＝15??119,P＝0??002) among the vitamin D quartiles (increasing)??Moreover, the MPAR and CR showed a decreasing trend with the increase of vitamin D concentration??Logistic regression analysis showed that serum 25( OH) D level was an independent inhibited factor for clopidogrel resistance in elderly patients with ischemic stroke ( Q4 vs Q1, OR＝0??699,95%CI 0??582～0??838,P＜0??001; Q3 vs Q1,OR＝0??848,95%CI 0??755－0??953,P＝0??006)??In vitro,compared with physiological saline,the aggregation rates of platelet in healthy group and CR group decreased after calcitriol pretreatment,and the difference was statistically significant ( healthy group: ( 69??8 ± 12??7 )% vs ( 58??6 ±11??5)%,t＝12??13,P＜0??001;CR group: ( 65??5 ± 8??3)% vs ( 56??3 ± 7??6)%, t＝11??48, P ＜0??001)??Conclusion Vitamin D reduces the high residual platelet reactivity after antiplatelet therapy??Further study is needed to determine whether vitamin D supplementation may improve the efficacy of clopidogrel??

OBJECTIVETo compare the effects between acupuncture with regulating mind and spleen and wes-tern medication for diarrhea irritable bowel syndrome (IBS-D).

METHODSEighty-one patients were randomly at the ratio of 2 to 1 assigned into an acupuncture group (54 cases) and a western medication group (27 cases). Acupuncture with regulating mind and spleen was applied in the acupuncture group for 6 weeks at Baihui (GV 20), Yintang (GV 29), Tianshu (ST 25), Zusanli (ST 36), Shangjuxu (ST 37), Sanyinjiao (SP 6), and Taichong (LR 3), once every other day, 3 times a week. Pinaverium bromide tablet was used orally in the western medication group for 6 weeks, 50 mg a time, 3 times a day. IBS symptom severity score (IBS-SSS) were observed before and after 1-week, 6-week treatment. Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) was applied before and after 6-week treatment. Also, clinical efficacy was evaluated in the two groups.

RESULTSThree patients dropped out in the acupuncture group, and 1 in the western medication group. Except abdominal distension score after 1-week treatment in the western medication group, single scores and total scores of IBS-SSS apparently reduced in the two groups after 1-week and 6-week treatment (<0.01,<0.05). After 1-week treatment, the abdominal pain score of the acupuncture group was obviously lower than that of the western medication group (<0.05). After 6-week treatment, with abdominal pain relief advantage, other results including the number of pain days, defecation satisfaction,life disturbance degree and total score of the acupuncture group were obviously lower than those of the wes-tern medication group (<0.01,<0.05). After 6-week treatment, the PSQI score and its change before and after treatment in the acupuncture group were superior to those in the western medication group (both<0.05). The relief rate and relief plus obvious effective rate in the acupuncture group were higher than those in the western medication group[51.0% (26/51) vs 19.2% (5/26),<0.01; 64.7% (33/51) vs 34.6% (9/26),<0.05].

CONCLUSIONSAcupuncture with regulating mind and spleen for diarrhea irritable bowel syndrome can more effectively relieve abdominal pain than pinaverium bromide tablet at the early stage. Its total effect and single effects are better at the later stage on abdominal pain, seizure frequency, defecation satisfaction, life disturbance, and sleep quality.

Objective To compare the clinical effect of C3F8 and air tamponade after vitrectomy for the treatment of idiopathic macular hole (IMH).Methods A total of 54 eyes of 54 patients with IMH that had undergone 23G pars plana vitrectomy with internal limiting membrane peeling were retrospectively studied.All patients received optical coherence tomography ()CT) examination and the best corrected visual acuity (BCVA).They were divided into 2 groups.26 eyes in group A were filled with air and 28 eyes in group B were filled with C3F8.In group A,6 eyes at stage Ⅱ,20 eyes at stage Ⅲ,the minimum diameter (Dmin) of macular hole in 14 eyes was less than 400 μm,and in the other eyes was larger than 400 μm.In group B,10 eyes at stage Ⅱ,18 eyes at stage Ⅲ,the Dmin of macular hole in 15 eyes was less than 400 μm,and in the other eyes was larger than 400 μm.The differences of age,course of the disease,BCVA,fundus diameter,Dmin,height,index,diameter of outer retina diameter (Dord) between the two groups were not significant (P＞0.05).The basic data before surgery and the closure rate,BCVA,Dord 1 month after surgery between two groups were compared.Results At 1 month after surgery,the IMH closure rate was 100.0％ in group A and 92.9％ in group B,the difference between these two groups was not significant (P=0.491).The closure rate of eyes with Dmin＜400 μm were both 100.0％ in two groups,and the closure rate of eyes with Dmin＞400 μm were 100.0％ in group A and 84.6％ in group B.There was no statistically significant differences between two groups (P =0.480).The mean BCVA of two groups were 0.35±0.22 and 0.33 ±0.16 respectively.The mean Dord were (782.2 ± 478.0) μm and(792.1 ± 432.7) μm respectively.All cases got better BCVA (t=-7.310,-10.506;P＜0.01) and shorter Dord (t=6.704,7.770;P＜0.01).But there was no statistically significant differences between groups 1 month after surgery in BCVA and Dord (t =0.381,0.800;P =0.705,0.937).Conclusion Air tamponade after vitrectomy has the same efficacy as C3 F8 tamponade in the treatment of IMH.
