Objective To investigate the impact of mitophagy, mediated by the long non-coding RNA SNHG16(LncRNA SNHG16)on diabetes-associated cognitive impairment(DCI).Methods 29 male C57BL/J mice were randomly divided into normal control(NC)group,DCI group and DCI+mitochondrial autophagy inhibitor(DCI+Mdivi-1)group.Morris water maze and new object recognition test were used to detect the cognitive function of mice,qRT-CPR was used to detect the expression of LncRNA SNHG16 and mitochondrial autophagy marker mRNA.Western blot were used to detect the expression of related protein. The mouse hippocampal neurons HT22 were divided into control(Con)group, high glucose(HG)group,HG+SNHG16 silencing(HG+sh-SNHG16)group and HG+no-load control(HG+sh-NC)group.CCK8 method and lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)method were used to detect neuronal damage.JC-1 method was used to detect mitochondrial membrane potential. Results Compared with NC group, the expression of LncRNA SNHG16 and the expression of autophagy-related gene 5,PTEN-induced putative kinase 1(PINK1),Parkin and microtubule associated protein light chain 3(LC3)Ⅱ/Ⅰ increased(P<0.05),while the expression of mitochondrial autophagy-related proteins P62 and mitochondrial outer membrane transposase 20(TOMM20)decreased in T2DM group.Compared with DCI group, the cognitive dysfunction of mice improved, and the expression level of LncRNA SNHG16 decreased in the DCI+Mdivi-1 group(P<0.05).The expressions of LncRNA SNHG16,LC3 Ⅱ/Ⅰ,PINK1 and Parkin were higher in HG group than in Con group(P<0.05),while the cell survival rate and TOMM20 protein expression were lower in HG group than in Con group(P<0.05).Silence of LncRNA SNHG16 can restore the activity of HT22 cells and mitochondrial membrane potential, and reduce the level of mitochondrial autophagy under HG condition. Conclusions The expression level of LncRNA SNHG16 was up-regulated in the hippocampus brain region of mice with diabetic cognitive dysfunction, and mitophagy was overactivated.Silencing of LncRNA SNHG16 inhibits mitophagy in hippocampal neurons and alleviates HG induced hippocampal neuronal damage.

Objective:To examine the effect of anemia on the prognosis of elderly patients with acute coronary syndrome. Methods:We searched PubMed, Scopus, OVID, the Cochrane Library, Web of Science, Embase, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, China Biology Medicine Disc, the WanFang and Weipu databases for studies on the association between anemia and the prognosis of acute coronary syndrome in elderly patients. The date range included the period from the establishment of the database to December 10, 2022.Two reviewers independently completed the literature screening and data extraction according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria for the literature.Stata 16.0 software was used to analyze the data. Results:Of 1 399 references retrieved from the initial search, 13 met the inclusion criteria, including a total of 9540 patients with a mean age of 70.3 years.2872 of these patients had concurrent anemia and 6 668 patients had no anemia. In elderly patients with acute coronary syndrome, those with anemia showed significantly increased risk of death, compared with those with no anemia( RR=2.28, 95% CI: 1.74-3.00). Anemia also increased the incidence of ischemia( RR=1.36, 95% CI: 1.13-1.64)and bleeding events( RR=2.18, 95% CI: 1.59-3.01)( P<0.05 for all). Conclusions:Anemia significantly increases the risk of death and is associated with poor prognosis in elderly patients with acute coronary syndrome.

Objective To identify the potential long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) expressed in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) synovium key to RA onset and investigate its association with immune cell infiltration. Methods RA synovium data were downloaded from the GEO database and normalized. The lncRNAs key to RA onset were identified using multiple machine learning methods. Infiltration of 22 immune cell populations in RA synovium was measured by cell-type identification by estimating relative subsets of RNA transcripts (CIBER-SORT). The relationship between the key lncRNA and infiltrating immune cells was analyzed. Finally, real-time quantitative PCR was applied to validate the expression of the key lncRNA in RA synovial cells. Results lncRNA human leukocyte antigen complex P5(HCP5) was identified as the key lncRNA associated with RA onset. Infiltration analysis revealed increased abundance of CD8+ T cells, γδ T cells, and M1 macrophages while decreased abundance of M2 macrophages in RA synovial tissue. Correlation analysis demonstrated that the lncRNA HCP5 expression was positively associated with the infiltration abundance of CD8+ T cells, γδ T cells, and M1 macrophages in RA synovial tissue. Furthermore, the expression of lncRNA HCP5 in RA synovial cells was up-regulated. Conclusion lncRNA HCP5 expression is up-regulated in RA synovial tissue and potentially associated with immune cells infiltration.

Objective:To report the design, field investigation and main findings of mental health survey in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, and to provide valid data for mental disorder prevention. Methods:According to the design of China Mental Health Survey,a cross-sectional study was conducted in 5 390 eligible participants se-lected by multi-stage sampling. The Composite International Diagnostic Interview was used to complete computer assisted personal interview.According to the diagnostic criterion of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorder,Fourth Edition(DSM-Ⅳ),the 12-month prevalence and lifetime prevalence were calculated using post-stratification weighting. Results:In 4 085 respondents interviewed in the survey, the 12-month prevalence rate of any mental disorder was 9.4%,and the lifetime prevalence was rate 15.1%.The prevalence rate in rural areas was higher than that in urban areas(10.9%vs 7.9%,P<0.01).The prevalence rates of anxiety disorder and mood disorder in the female were higher than those in the male(5.3%vs.2.9%,4.9%vs.3.3%,Ps<0.05),while the prevalence rates of substanceuse disorder and impulse-control disorder were higher in the male than those in the fe-male(2.5%vs.0.2%,2.3%vs.1.5%,Ps<0.05).The 12-month prevalence rate of any mental disorder showed a decreasing trend with age growth.Among those who met any mental disorder's criteria,93.4%never sought help, and 57.5%of the help seekers didn't receive any effective help. Conclusion:Mental disorders have become an important public health problem in Ningxia, prevention and control measures should be taken accordingly.

Objective:To investigate the prevalence of anxiety disorder and its distribution, and related factors in adults in Ningxia community. Methods:Using the method of China Mental Health Survey, anxiety disorder was investigated with the Composite International Diagnostic Interview, and related factors were analyzed.Twelve-month prevalence and life-time prevalence and their distributions were calculated according to DSM-Ⅳ criteria. Results:A total of 4 085 respondents were interviewed in the survey. The 12-month prevalence rate of any anxiety disorder was 4.2%,and the lifetime prevalence rate was 5.6%.The 12-month prevalence rates of social phobia, special phobia and generalized anxiety disorder were higher in women than in men(P<0.05).The prevalence of special phobia and any anxiety disorder in rural area was higher than that in urban area.Logistic regression model revealed that fe-male(OR=1.86,95%CI:1.32-2.64)had higher prevalence risk of anxiety disorder, and individuals with somat-ic pain had higher risk of anxiety disorder than those without(P<0.05).Conclusion:Anxiety disorder is prevalent in Ningxia. It suggests that strengthening somatic pain community mental health service is necessary to develop tar-geted intervention programs among the high-risk population.
