To summarize the nursing experience of a pediatric patient who underwent hematopoietic stem cell transplantation following liver transplantation for erythropoietic protoporphyria,several key nursing points were identified.These included implementing plasma exchange to prevent liver failure,employing light-avoidance therapy to reduce photosensitivity,enhancing skin and mucosal care to minimize bacterial colonization,and strengthening caregiver management to prevent cross-infection.After hematopoietic stem cell transplantation,the main focus of nursing care shifted towards drug management to mitigate liver damage,closely monitoring the patient's condition for potential nervous system lesions,implementing effective diarrhea management strategies to prevent perianal infection,prioritizing psychological support in order to alleviate negative emotions experienced by the patient,and providing individualized health education and follow-up management plans aimed at promoting rehabilitation.Because of meticulous nursing provided by a dedicated multidisciplinary team,the child showed significant improvement within 34 days post-transplantation and continued recovering well during outpatient follow-up visits conducted 4 months after hospital discharge.

Objective To evaluate the molluscicidal effect of suspension concentrate of niclosamide ethanolamine salt(SC-NE)against Oncomelania hupensis snails in laboratory and field. Methods The experiment of SCNE against the snails by using the immersing and spraying methods was performed in laboratory and field,with control groups of wettable powder of ni-closamide ethanolamine salt(WPN). Results In the laboratory,LC50(s) of SCNE for 24,48 h and 72 h by using the immersion method were 0.0926,0.0629 mg/L and 0.0549 mg/L,respectively. The mortality rates of snails for 24,48 h and 72 h by using the immersion method were all 100％ with the concentrations of 0.25 mg/L. The mortality rates of snails were all 100％ while spraying SCNE for 3 d in the laboratory with the concentrations of 0.25 g/m2. In Jiangling County,except 0.5 g/m3 SCNE immers-ing the snails for 24 h,the mortality rates of snails by using SCNE with the immersing method were all 100％. While the concen-tration of SCNE was 0.5 g/m3 or above,the mortality rates were all 100％after the use of it with the immersion method for 2 d in Gong'an County. In Jiangling County,the mortality rates of snails by using SCNE 0.5 g/m3 for 1 d,3 d,and 7 d with the spray-ing method were 87.5％,92.82％and 97.40％respectively. While the concentration of SCNE was 0.5 g/m3,the mortality rates were 85.94％,86.78％and 94.21％respectively after the use of it with the spraying method for 1 d,3 d,7 d in Gong'an Coun-ty,and the molluscicidal effect of SCNE(1.0 g/m2)was higher than that of WPN. Conclusion SCNE has a high molluscicidal effect in the laboratory and field,and it is a novel and simple formulation of niclosamide.

OBJECTIVE:To compare the efficacy and safety of gio combined with oxaliplatin (SOX) versus 5-fluorouracil (5-FU)combined with calcium folinate and oxaliplatin(mFOLFOX6)in the treatment of diffuse advanced gastric cancer. METH-ODS:The data of 128 patients with diffuse advanced gastric cancer was retrospectively analyzed and patients were divided into SOX group(66 cases)and mFOLFOX6 group(62 cases)by different medication. SOX group received Gio capsule after breakfast and dinner,which was <1.25 m2,40 mg,1.25-1.5 m2,50 mg,>1.5 m2,60 mg,d1-14+130 mg/m2 Oxaliplatin for injection,intrave-nously,d1;3-week was regarded as a treatment course,the efficacy was evaluated every 2 courses,and it lasted a maximum of 8 courses but a minimum of 2 courses. mFOLFOX6 group received 85 mg/m2 Oxaliplatin for injection,intravenously,d1+200 mg/m2 calcium folinate,intravenously,d1+400 mg/m2 5-FU for injection by rapid intravenous injection,d1,then 2 400 mg/m2 5-FU,main-taining 46 h by continuous infusion. 2-week was regarded as a treatment course,the efficacy was evaluated every 3 courses,and chemotherapy was conducted in a maximum of 12 courses but a minimum of 3 courses. Clinical efficacy,time to progression,sur-vival time and incidence of toxicities in 2 groups were observed. RESULTS:The objective response rate,time to progression and median survival time in SOX group was significantly higher than mFOLFOX6 group,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05 or P<0.01). There was no significant difference in the disease control rate and incidence of toxicities in 2 groups(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:The efficacy of SOX is superior to mFOLFOX6 in the treatment of diffuse advanced gastric cancer,it can prolong the survival time,with similar safety.
