Objectives To explore status of health prevention knowledge awareness and the formation of healthy behaviors of community residents in Guagzhou and provide evidence for health-management-related departments to put forward pertinent intervention strategies. Methods A questionnaire-based survey was conducted among 2 790 community residents in Guangzhou by multistage stratified random sampling. Results The awareness rate of residents′ basic health prevention knowledge was 78.14%, the awareness rate of key knowledge was 74.77%, the rate of health behavior formation was 48.14%. The rate of women′s behavior formation was higher than that of men′s. The awareness rate of basic knowledge among the residents aged over 50 years was lower than that that among those aged less than 50 years , but the awareness rate of key knowledge and behavior formation rate were higher. The level of knowledge awareness and the rate of behavior formation rate of urban residents were higher than those of rural residents and migrants. The knowledge awareness and behavior formationi were positively correlated with degree with statistically significant difference (P < 0.01). Conclusions The health belief and behavior of the community residents should be cultivated and strengthened , the basic prevention knowledge should be made universal for middle-aged and old people , the health education of key prevention knowledge should be strengthened for the middle-aged and young people , the public health services should be made more open and equal further promoted, and the community comprehensive intervention focusing on the health education should be strengthened.

General practice education at higher medical university is the foundation of the general practice educational system. It has close relationship with the cultivation quality of the general practitioners. By taking British and Australian medical colleges as examples, the paper introduced the current situation of British and Australian general practice education for undergraduate medical stu-dents and elaborated their theory learning content, their practice learning content ,their education re-form and research progress and their education target and effect. General practice education in Britain and Australia sheds light on how to set theory course, arrange practice part and improve educational research, which general practice education in China can draw lessons from.

There are still two outstanding problems in comprehensive quality assessment index system of clinical medical undergraduates:contents of assessment is incomprehensive and every index has no quantitative research based weight.This article elaborated on a complete index framework,covering required knowledge,abilities,attitude,morality of clinical medical undergraduates and proposed a set of methods and processes,including literature research method,system analysis method,brainstorming,expert interviews,Delphi method,and some statistical methods,providing a theoretical basis for the development of comprehensive quality assessment index system for clinical medical undergraduates.

Cultivating innovative talents is a systemic project,which is influenced by educational ecosystem.The comparison with educational ecosystems of developed countries shows that there are lots of factors affect the cultivating innovative talents in China including the internal factors of education system as well as family and social factors.

The reflective behaviors of teachers are a primary factor affecting teaching quality.However,the reflective behaviors of teachers can be propelled only by enhancing stimulus to teaching work,completing training system of continuing education on teaching theory and techniques to increase the teaching theory of teachers and performing teaching summarization of courses and assessment system.Only in this way can the teaching level and teaching quality of teachers be enhanced.

Modern medical education is characterized by innovative education,but the specialty of medical education determines the complexity of its innovative education.The paper elaborates the construction of cultivation mode of talents of creative pattern in medical universities by infiltrating and implementing the ideas and practice of innovative education into the full process of higher medical education proceeding with such innovative thoughts and quality training links as education concept,teaching mode,knowledge structure,training of methods and ability.

Merging medical universities with comprehensive universities has become an important aspect of colleges’and universities’reform in China.However,after merging with a comprehensive university,some problems have happened: decreased management efficiency as a result of over-hierarchical administration,neglect of own features of medical faculties,as well as less than expected cooperation of medical and nonmedical subjects and so on.In this context,from the perspective of an independent medical university,a theoretical and practical model for developing multidisciplinary faculty was formulated and implemented in an academic medical university,including background analysis,feasibility,developing principles,integrating strategies,in the hope of providing some implications for other independent medical schools.

The forecast of health human resources demand is the most important and one of the most complex aspects of health manpower planning projections. There are many methods in forecasting human resources demand,and each method has its own advantages and disadvantages. Five kinds of commonly used basic methods are comparatively analysised in this paper.

To cultivate students to be persons with ability,modern universities should first of all cultivate students to be persons with quality,pay attention to moral and physiological education,induce students to set up successful ideal and morality,have tolerance with others and healthy character,set up good study style,comply with law,know oneself and the others,have innovation spirit,ability and moral integrity and be dedicated to the society.

The fashion of innovative medical education prompted the teaching mode and teaching aims in medical colleges into fundamental innovation.In this paper,the authors have analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of talent training mode from medical colleges at home and abroad in the past few decades.The training mode for the innovative talents in the new period has been discussed.It includes the flowing aspects:the teaching aims,curriculum setup,teaching methods and education evaluation system.
