This paper provided a comprehensive review of the concept, current situation and influencing factors of survivors returning to work after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, both in domestic and international contexts. The research analyzed and elaborates on four aspects of individual factors, disease-related factors, occupational factors, and social support, in order to provide references for constructing an intervention program for the return to work of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation survivors based on the cultural background in China.

Objective:To explore the mechanism of herb-partitioned moxibustion in relieving rat intestinal inflammation by focusing on the neutrophil extracellular traps(NETs)in Crohn disease(CD)development. Methods:Rats were randomly divided into a normal group,a model group,a herb-partitioned moxibustion group,and a mesalazine group.The CD rat model was prepared with 2,4,6-trinitrobenzene sulfonic acid except for rats in the normal group.Rats in the normal group and model group did not receive any treatment but had the same fixation as the other groups.Rats in the herb-partitioned moxibustion group received herb-partitioned moxibustion at Qihai(CV6)and bilateral Tianshu(ST25).Rats in the mesalazine group received intragastric administration of mesalazine enteric-coated tablets.The general situation of rats in each group was recorded,and the histopathological changes in the colon were observed and scored by hematoxylin-eosin staining.The serum concentrations of NETs DNA(NETs-DNA),neutrophil elastase(NE)-DNA,and myeloperoxidase(MPO)-DNA were detected by ABC enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,and the citrullinated histone 3(citH3),MPO,and NE protein and mRNA expression levels in rat colon tissue were observed by immunofluorescence and real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction. Results:Compared with the normal group,the mucosal ulcer reached the muscularis,the epithelium was incomplete,the goblet cells decreased obviously with significant inflammatory cell infiltration in the colon;the colonic mucosa damage index(CMDI)score increased significantly(P<0.01);the serum NETs-DNA,NE-DNA,and MPO-DNA concentrations increased(P<0.05);the NE,citH3,and MPO protein and mRNA expression in the colonic tissue increased significantly in the model group(P<0.01 or P<0.05).Compared with the model group,the mucosal epithelium in the herb-partitioned moxibustion group and the mesalazine group was repaired and the goblet cells increased with a few infiltrating inflammatory cells in the colon;the CMDI score decreased(P<0.01);the serum NETs-DNA,NE-DNA,and MPO-DNA concentrations decreased(P<0.05);the NE,citH3,and MPO protein and mRNA expression in the colonic tissue was down-regulated(P<0.01 or P<0.05). Conclusion:Herb-partitioned moxibustion reduced the serum NETs complex and inhibited the protein and mRNA expression of NETs complex in the colon tissue,which may be one mechanism of herb-partitioned moxibustion in relieving colon mucosal inflammation in CD.

Objective To visualize and analyze the studies on spleen-strengthening and dampness-expelling method for treating skin diseases in the past 20 years by using CiteSpace 6.3.R1 software,and to understand current status and hot spots of research on spleen-strengthening and dampness-expelling method for treating skin diseases,so as to provide reference for the treatment and research of skin diseases. Methods Literatures on the spleen-strengthening and dampness-expelling method for skin disease treatment,which were published from January 1,2004 to June 1,2024,were retrieved from China National Knowledge Network Infrustruction. Then,CiteSpace 6.3.R1 software was adopted to visualize the authors,distribution of research institutes,and keywords. Results A total of 1326 valid papers were included,and there was an overall increase in literature publication. The author with the largest number of publications was Liu Hongxia (31 papers) and Lu Chuanjian (11 papers),the institution with the largest number of publications was Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine(66 papers),followed by Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine (62 papers). In the keyword analysis,the current hot keywords in this field are Wuling San,external treatment method,treatment from the spleen,spleen deficiency and dampness accumulation,etc. The research hot spots in the literature mainly include the experience of famous doctors,the law of medication and the research on the mechanism of action,and the frontier trends mainly include the mechanism of action,inflammatory factors,and the same treatment of heterogeneous diseases. Conclusion The method of spleen-strengthening and dampness-expelling is an important rule of traditional Chinese medicine in treating dermatological diseases. The main research content in recent 20 years is clinical observation,experience of famous doctors and mechanism of action. The mechanism of action,inflammatory factors,and heterogeneity of the same treatment are the hot spots of the research. The multi-disciplinary integration may be future research direction. However,there are currently few core authors and institutions involved in the research,and the cooperation between regions needs to be strengthened.

Objective To investigate the mechanism underlying gasdermin E(GSDME)-mediated pyroptosis in radiation-induced intestinal injury and to find out whether gasdermin(GSDM)family members regulate pyroptosis through similar signaling pathways.Methods Human normal colon epithelial cells(NCM460)and human colon cancer cells(HT-29)were exposed to radiation of different doses and durations before pyroptosis indicators were evaluated by observing pyroptotic bubbles,cell survival,and the cleavage of pyroptosis execution proteins.HT-29 cells overexpressing GSDME were subjected to radiation,followed by enrichment analysis of pyroptosis-related differentially expressed genes using RNA-seq.Results Radiation induced substantial pyroptosis in NCM460 cells.Overexpression of GSDME in HT-29 cells resulted in substantial radiation-induced pyroptosis.The pyroptosis state of human intestinal cells was simulated in the HT-29 model cell line.Overexpressions of GSDME-N and GSDMD-N resulted in the expression of more than 50％ of the differentially expressed genes in the pyroptosis state.Sequencing analysis showed that the genes in the pyroptosis state were mainly overrepresented in immune response,inflammatory response,and Rapl signaling pathway.Conclusion GSDME activation can mediate radiation-induced pyroptosis by producing GSDME-N fragments.GSDM family members participate in pyroptosis in a similar mode of regulation.Furthermore,radiation-induced activation of GSDME/D may regulate pyroptosis through immune response,inflammatory response,and Rap1 signaling pathway.

Objective To investigate the protective effect and mechanism of glutathione peroxidase 3-(GPx3)modified mesenchymal stem cells(MSC)against radiation-induced lung injury(RILI).Methods GPx3-modified MSCs were injected into the tail vein of mice whose lungs were irradiated with 20 Gy.Lung tissues were collected and sections were stained to observe pathological changes.The expression levels of inflammation-related factors were detected by real time quantitative PCR(qPCR),while the levels of malondialdehyde(MDA),H2O2,and 8-hydroxyguanine(8-OHG)were detected via biochemical experiments.Additionally,RNA damage was assessed by reverse transcription blocking combining with double primer PCR.Results GPx3-modified MSCs significantly improved the pathological damage in post-radiation lung tissues and inhibited the fibrosis process and inflammatory response.GPx3-modified MSCs were able to scavenge reactive oxygen species(ROS)more effectively,resulting in a reduction of lipid peroxidation products such as MDA and oxidative damage to RNA formation of 8-OHG.Conclusion By decreasing ROS accumulation,GPx3-modified MSCs can potentially reduce oxidative damage and attenuate RILI.GPx3-modified MSCs can improve the therapeutic efficacy against RILI.

Objective:The National Central Cancer Registry estimates the number of new cancer cases and deaths in China in 2022, using incidence and mortality data collected by the National Cancer Center.Methods:According to the data of 700 cancer registries in 2018 and the data of 106 cancer registries from 2010 to 2018, the age-period-cohort model was used to estimate the incidence rate and mortality rate of all cancers and 23 types of cancer in 2022, stratified by gender and urban and rural areas. We estimated the number of new cancer cases and deaths in China in 2022 based on the estimated rate and population data in 2022.Results:The estimated results showed that in 2022, there were approximately 4 824 700 new cancer cases in China (2 533 900 in males and 2 290 800 in females), with an age-standardized incidence rate of Chinese population (ASIR) of 208.58 per 100 000 (212.67 per 100 000 for males and 208.08 per 100 000 for females). Approximately 2 903 900 new cancer cases occurred in urban areas, with an ASIR of 212.95 per 100 000. It was estimated about 1 920 800 new cancer cases in rural areas, and the ASIR was 199.65 per 100 000. The top five cancers (lung cancer 1 060 600, colorectal cancer 517 100, thyroid cancer 466 100, liver cancer 367 700 and female breast cancer 357 200) accounted for 57.4% of all new cases. The estimated number of deaths from cancer in China in 2022 was 2 574 200 (1 629 300 in males and 944 900 in females), with an age-standardized mortality rate of Chinese population (ASMR) of 97.08 per 100 000 (127.70 per 100 000 in males and 68.67 per 100 000 in females). The number of deaths from cancer in urban and rural areas was about 1 400 600 and 1 173 400, with the ASMR of 92.37 and 103.97 per 100 000 in urban and rural areas, respectively. The top five leading cause of cancers death (lung cancer 733 300, liver cancer 316 500, gastric cancer 260 400, colorectal cancer 240 000 and esophageal cancer 187 500) accounted for 67.5% of all cancer deaths. Lung cancer ranked first in the incidence and mortality in men and women. The incidence rate in urban areas was higher than that in rural areas, while the mortality rate was lower than that in rural areas.Conclusions:The burden of cancer in China is still relatively heavy, with significant differences in cancer patterns in gender, urban-rural, and regional. The burden of cancer presents a coexistence of developed and developing countries, and the situation of cancer prevention and control is still serious in China.

Objective:To explore the impact of sleep duration, physical exercise, and their interactions on the risk of dyslipidemia in older adults aged ≥80 (the oldest old) in China.Methods:The study subjects were the oldest old from four rounds of Healthy Aging and Biomarkers Cohort Study (2008-2009, 2011-2012, 2014 and 2017-2018). The information about their demographic characteristics, lifestyles, physical examination results and others were collected, and fasting venous blood samples were collected from them for blood lipid testing. Competing risk model was used to analyze the causal associations of sleep duration and physical exercise with the risk for dyslipidemia. Restricted cubic spline (RCS) function was used to explore the dose-response relationship between sleep duration and the risk for dyslipidemia. Additive and multiplicative interaction model were used to explore the interaction of sleep duration and physical exercise on the risk for dyslipidemia.Results:The average age of 1 809 subjects was (93.1±7.7) years, 65.1% of them were women. The average sleep duration of the subjects was (8.0±2.5) hours/day, 28.1% of them had sleep duration for less than 7 hours/day, and 27.2% had sleep for duration more than 9 hours/day at baseline survey. During the 9-year cumulative follow-up of 6 150.6 person years (follow-up of average 3.4 years for one person), there were 304 new cases of dyslipidemia, with an incidence density of 4 942.6/100 000 person years. The results of competitive risk model analysis showed that compared with those who slept for 7-9 hours/day, the risk for dyslipidemia in oldest old with sleep duration >9 hours/day increased by 22% ( HR=1.22, 95% CI: 1.07-1.39). Compared with the oldest old having no physical exercise, the risk for dyslipidemia in the oldest old having physical exercise decreased by 33% ( HR=0.67, 95% CI: 0.57-0.78). The RCS function showed a linear positive dose-response relationship between sleep duration and the risk for hyperlipidemia. The interaction analysis showed that physical exercise and sleep duration had an antagonistic effect on the risk for hyperlipidemia. Conclusion:Physical exercise could reduce the adverse effects of prolonged sleep on blood lipids in the oldest old.

Background::Breast cancer is ranked among the most prevalent malignancies in the Chinese female population. However, comprehensive reports detailing the latest epidemiological data and attributable disease burden have not been extensively documented.Methods::In 2018, high-quality cancer surveillance data were recorded in 700 population-based cancer registries in China. We extracted data on female breast cancers (International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision [ICD-10]: C50) and estimated the incidence and mortality in 2022 according to the baseline data and corresponding trends from 2010 to 2018. Pathological types were classified according to the ICD for Oncology, 3rd Edition codes. Disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) were calculated as the sum of the years of life lost (YLLs) and years lived with disability (YLDs).Results::In 2022, approximately 357,200 new female breast cancer cases and 75,000 deaths occurred in China, accounting for 15.59% and 7.94% of total new cancer cases and deaths, respectively. The age-standardized incidence rate (ASIR) was 33.04 per 100,000. When analyzed by pathological type, the ASIRs for papillary neoplasms, invasive breast carcinoma, rare and salivary gland-type tumors, and other types were 1.13, 29.79, 0.24, and 1.88 per 100,000, respectively. The age-standardized mortality rate (ASMR) was 6.10 per 100,000. A total of 2,628,000 DALYs were found to be attributable to female breast cancer in China, comprising 2,278,300 YLLs and 349,700 YLDs. The ASIR, ASMR, and age-standardized rate (ASR) for DALYs in urban areas were consistently higher than those in rural areas. We observed a four-fold increase in the ASIR and ASR for DALYs and an eight-fold increase in the ASMR among females over 55 years compared with those aged under 55 years.Conclusion::These data provide invaluable insights into the latest epidemiology of female breast cancer in China and highlight the urgency for disease prevention and control strategy formulation.

This article combs and summarizes the entire process of rare disease selection and priority theme determination,including the application and preliminary review of rare diseases,standardization of disease theme information,the evaluation methods of evidence sorting and disease selection for priority se-lection of disease themes,and other aspects of the content were analyzed in depth.It is expected to provide reference for the subsequent selection of rare diseases,improve the fairness,rationality and scientificity of rare disease selection,and further promote research and decision-making in China's rare disease-related fields.

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of recombinant Salmonella SGN1 on murine melanoma model and the action mechanism,and to provide reference for clinical treatment of melanoma with SGN1.Methods The recombinant Salmonella SGN1 and control strain VNP-V were co-cultured with mouse melanoma B16F10 cells,and the effect of SGN1 on the proliferation of B16F10 cells in vitro was detected by cell counting method. The B16F10 subcutaneous tumor transplantation model in mice was constructed. SGN1,VNP-V and PBS(control group)were injected into the tumor at a single dose,with five mice in each group,and the inhibitory effect of SGN1 on tumor growth was observed. The pathological changes of tumor tissues in mice were observed by HE staining. The distribution of SGN1 in tumor tissues was observed by plate counting. Flow cytometry was used to evaluate the proportion of infiltrating T lymphocyte subsets. The expression of T-cell marker CD3 was detected by immunofluorescence and immunohistochemical staining.Results Compared with the control group,recombinant Salmonella SGN1 significantly inhibited the proliferation of mouse melanoma B16F10 cells in vitro(t = 6. 935,P < 0. 01). In tumor-bearing mice,SGN1 was tumor-targeted and significantly inhibited the growth of B16F10 subcutaneous transplanted melanoma in mice(t = 7. 566,P < 0. 001). HE staining showed that SGN1 significantly induced the necrosis of subcutaneous transplanted melanoma cells in mice. The results of immunofluorescence,immunohistochemistry and flow cytometry confirmed that SGN1 significantly increased tumor-infiltrating CD3~+ T-cells(t = 11. 91,8. 873 and 5. 300,respectively,each P < 0. 01).Conclusion The recombinant Salmonella SGN1 can significantly inhibit the proliferation of B16F10 cells and exert anti-tumor effects by promoting tumor cell necrosis and elevating CD3~+ tumor-infiltrating T-cells,providing a theoretical basis for the clinical treatment of melanoma with SGN1
