Objective To systematically evaluate influence factors hospitalization infections in multiple myeloma(MM)patients after chemotherapy.Methods Computer searches were conducted on relevant literature in CNKI,China Biology Medicine disc,VIP,Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform,PubMed,Web of Science,Embase,Cochrane Library and CINAHL from the database inception until December 16,2024.Two researchers independently screened and assessed the quality of the literature,obtained the necessary information,and a Meta-analysis of risk factors was conducted by using RevMan 5.4 software.Results 19 articles were included in total.Meta-analysis results showed that high body mass index,length of stay,smoking history,Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group(ECOG)score,granulocyte deficiency,neutropenia,Durie-Salmon stage,international staging system(ISS)stage and combined with diabetes,renal insufficiency,anemia,hypoalbuminemia were the risk factors for hospitalization infections in patients with MM after chemotherapy(P＜0.05).Conclusion This study provides a reference for intervening in the risk factors of hospitalization infections in MM patients after chemotherapy.Medical staff should prevent infections early based on relevant factors,identify high-risk populations,and maximize the protection of patient health outcomes and good prognosis.

Objective To analyze white matter hyperintensities(WMH)and 11C-CFT PET/CT characteristics in patients with PD,and explore their relationship.Methods A total of 84 PD pa-tients admitted to our department between March 2021 and March 2025 were retrospectively en-rolled,and they were divided into young group(33 cases)and elderly group(aged＞65 years,51 cases)and also into non-WMH group(22 cases)and WMH group(62 cases)based on the severity of WMH.The degree of white matter lesions was scored,including periventricular white matter hyperintense(PVH)score and deep white matter hyperintense(DWMH)score.All patients un-derwent head MRI and 11C-CFT-PET/CT scanning.The T/N value and asymmetry index were calculated.Results The elderly PD patients exhibited significantly advanced age and higher H-Y stages,but lower T/N values of affected side of caudate nucleus,contralateral caudate nucleus,affected side of anterior putamen,contralateral anterior putamen and contralateral posterior puta-men,and posterior putamen asymmetry index than the young patients(P＜0.05,P＜0.01).Simi-lar results were observed in the WMH group when compared with the non-WMH group(P＜0.05,P＜0.01).The PVH score was negatively correlated with the T/N values of affected side of caudate nucleus(r=-0.282,P=0.009),contralateral caudate nucleus(r=-0.215,P=0.049),affected side of anterior putamen(r=-0.249,P=0.022),contralateral anterior putamen(r=-0.280,P=0.010)and contralateral posterior putamen(r=-0.285,P=0.009),and DWMH score was also negatively correlated with the T/N values in the affected side of caudate nucleus and affected side of anterior putamen(P＜0.05).Conclusion Both age and disease severity impact WMH and dopaminergic system in PD patients.A higher WMH load is associated with dopamin-ergic neuronal damage.

Objective To systematically evaluate the risk prediction model of anastomotic fistula after radical resection of esophageal cancer, and to provide objective basis for selecting a suitable model. Methods A comprehensive search was conducted on Chinese and English databases including CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, CBM, PubMed, EMbase, Web of Science, The Cochrane Library for relevant studies on the risk prediction model of anastomotic fistula after radical resection of esophageal cancer from inception to April 30, 2023. Two researchers independently screened literatures and extracted data information. PROBAST tool was used to assess the risk of bias and applicability of included literatures. Meta-analysis was performed on the predictive value of common predictors in the model with RevMan 5.3 software. Results A total of 18 studies were included, including 11 Chinese literatures and 7 English literatures. The area under the curve (AUC) of the prediction models ranged from 0.68 to 0.954, and the AUC of 10 models was >0.8, indicating that the prediction performance was good, but the risk of bias in the included studies was high, mainly in the field of research design and data analysis. The results of the meta-analysis on common predictors showed that age, history of hypertension, history of diabetes, C-reactive protein, history of preoperative chemotherapy, hypoproteinemia, peripheral vascular disease, pulmonary infection, and calcification of gastric omental vascular branches are effective predictors for the occurrence of anastomotic leakage after radical surgery for esophageal cancer (P<0.05). Conclusion The study on the risk prediction model of anastomotic fistula after radical resection of esophageal cancer is still in the development stage. Future studies can refer to the common predictors summarized by this study, and select appropriate methods to develop and verify the anastomotic fistula prediction model in combination with clinical practice, so as to provide targeted preventive measures for patients with high-risk anastomotic fistula as soon as possible.

Objective To systematically evaluate the risk factors for metabolic syndrome in hospitalized patients with schizophrenia in China.Methods Relevant observational studies were retrieved for Chinese schizophrenia patients with metabolic syndrome in Databases,with a retrieval period from the database establishment date to January 12 2025.Two researchers independently screened the literature,extracted data and evaluated the quality of the studies,and a total of 16 articles were included for Meta analysis.Results Age,body mass index,smoking history,disease duration,family history of metabolic syndrome,diabetes history,hypertension history,chlorantraniliprole use,olanzapine use,interleukin-6 levels,leptin levels,triglyceride levels,and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels were significant risk factors for metabolic syndrome in hospitalized Chinese schizophrenia patients(P＜0.05).Moderate recreational exercise served as a protective factor(P＜0.05).Conclusion There are many influencing factors for the association of metabolic syndrome in hospitalized patients with schizophrenia in China,and moderate exercise is a protective factor for the association of metabolic syndrome in schizophrenia.In clinical practice,high-risk groups of metabolic syndrome can be actively screened according to relevant risk factors.

The accuracy of medical imaging diagnosis will directly impact the clinical forensic evaluation's scientific validity and objectivity.This study systematically analyzed the primary causes of misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis in imaging examinations,focusing on representative cases,including rib fractures,traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage,joint injuries with ligament damage,nasal fractures,congenital skeletal variations,and epiphyseal injuries.Key contributing factors encompassed limitation of imaging technologies,the insufficient interpretive experience of examiners,the complexity of injury mechanisms,and inadequate post-traumatic dynamic imaging follow-up.To address these issues,improvement strategies are proposed,which were establishing standardized imaging review protocols,implementing multimodal imaging approaches,rigorous evaluation of original imaging data,and enhancing professional knowledge regarding anatomical variations and injury differentiation.These measures aim to elevate the quality of forensic imaging diagnosis,providing more precise and reliable strategies for forensic clinical identifications.

To improve the standard screening, diagnosis, and treatment of hypertension in patients in China; realize the standardization of clinical practice of hypertension; and improve the prevention and control level of hypertension in China, it is both important and necessary to develop a clinical practice guideline for hypertension according to a recognized methodology. Jointly sponsored by the National Center for Cardiovascular Diseases, Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Hypertension Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Chinese Society of Cardiology, and Hypertension Committee of Cross-Straits Medicine Exchange Association, the "Chinese Clinical Practice Guidelines of Hypertension" was proposed. Research Unit of Evidence-Based Evaluation and Guidelines, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Guideline and Standards Research Centre of Chinese Medical Association Publishing House, Lanzhou University Institute of Health Data Science, and Lanzhou University GRADE Center will provide methodological support for the guidelines.
