Objective:
To investigate the trends in incidence and mortality of lung cancer in Huangpu District, Shanghai Municipality from 2002 to 2019, so as to provide the evidence for formulating lung cancer prevention and control measures.
Methods:
Data of lung cancer incidence and mortality among residents in Huangpu District from 2002 to 2019 were collected through the Shanghai Cancer Registration and Reporting Management System. The crude incidence and mortality of lung cancer was calculated, and standardized by the data from the Chinese Fifth National Population Census in 2000 (Chinese-standardized rate) and the Segi's world standard population in 1960 (world-standardized rate). The trends in incidence and mortality of lung cancer among residents by age and gender were evaluated using annual percent change (APC).
Results:
A total of 12 965 cases of lung cancer were reported in Huangpu District from 2002 to 2019, and the crude incidence rate was 80.66/105, the Chinese-standardized incidence rate was 34.54/105, and the world-standardized incidence rate was 31.30/105, all showing upward trends (APC=4.588%, 2.933% and 3.247%, all P<0.05). A total of 10 102 deaths of lung cancer were reported, and the crude mortality rate was 62.30/105, showing an upward trend (APC=0.959%, P<0.05); the Chinese-standardized mortality was 25.93/105, and the world-standardized mortality was 22.05/105, both showing downward trends (APC=-1.282% and -1.263%, both P<0.05). The crude incidence and mortality rates of lung cancer in males were higher than those in females (101.39/105 vs. 60.52/105, 85.45/105 vs. 39.87/105, both P<0.05). The crude incidence and mortality rates of lung cancer showed upward trends with age (both P<0.05), reaching their peaks in the age groups of 80-<85 years (341.37/105) and 85 years or above (355.97/105), respectively.
Conclusions
The incidence of lung cancer showed an upward trend, while the mortality showed a downward trend in Huangpu District from 2002 to 2019. Elderly men were the high-risk group for lung cancer incidence and mortality.

Amoenucles A-F (1-6), six previously undescribed nucleoside derivatives, and two known analogs (7 and 8) were isolated from the culture of Aspergillus amoenus TJ507. Their structures were elucidated through spectroscopic analysis, single-crystal X-ray crystallography, and chemical reactions. Notably, 3 and 4 represent the first reported instances of nucleosides with an attached pyrrole moiety. Of particular significance, the absolute configuration of the sugar moiety of 1-4 was determined using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), electric circular dichroism (ECD) calculations, and a hydrolysis reaction, presenting a potentially valuable method for confirming nucleoside structures. Furthermore, 1, 2, and 5-8 exhibited potential tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α) inhibitory activities, which may provide a novel chemical template for the development of agents targeting autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.

Adenosine triphosphate(ATP),as a rich energy currency in cells,is released into the extracellular space through a variety of regulatory mechanisms. The role of extracellular ATP(eATP)and related purine and pyrimidine nucleotides as extracellu-lar signal molecules regulating immune cell function has been reported as evidence of purine signal transduction and has become the focus of attention as a therapeutic target for various diseases.Mast cells(MC)are distributed in tissues that come into contact with the external environment and are the first immune cells to respond to non-microbial environmental antigens.Although eATP is considered to be an activator of MC,the details remain to be further elucidated. This article describes the role of purine receptor signaling in MC degranulation. It expands the further understanding of the mechanism of allergic diseases, and further provides ideas for finding new targets for the treatment of allergic diseases and formulating new treatment strategies.

Objective:To explore the rehabilitation effects of individual computer story-version magnanimous therapy (ICSMT) on patients with end-stage renal disease undergoing maintenance hemodialysis (MHD).Methods:A total of 120 patients with end-stage renal disease receiving MHD treatment at the Department of Nephrology Hemodialysis Center of Huadu District People's Hospital of Guangzhou from August 2022 to April 2024 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into control group ( n=60, receiving routine clinical treatment) and ICSMT group ( n=60, receiving routine clinical treatment combined with ICSMT for psychological intervention) by random number table method. The patients in the two groups were evaluated by the self-rating anxiety scale (SAS), self-rating depression scale (SDS), enterprising and magnanimous questionnaire (EMQ), the short-form-36 health survey (SF-36), and activity of daily living scale (ADL) before intervention and at 4-week post-intervention.Blood pressure, blood urea nitrogen (BUN), hemoglobin (Hb), and serum albumin (ALB) levels were also measured before the intervention and at the 4-week post-intervention.The clinical global impression scale (CGI) was used to evaluate clinical efficacy before the intervention, at the 2-week post-intervention, and at the 4-week post-intervention.Statistics analysis was performed using SPSS 29.0.1.0(171). Independent-samples t-test, paired t-test, Mann-Whitney U test and Wilcoxon signed-rank test were used for statistical analysis. Results:After 4 weeks of intervention, the SAS and SDS in the ICSMT group (49.0 (48.0, 50.0), 50.0 (49.0, 51.0)) were significantly lower than those in the control group (51.0 (50.0, 52.0), 52.0 (51.0, 53.0)) (both P<0.001). The enterprising subscore of the EMQ in the ICSMT group (35.0 (32.0, 37.0)) was significantly higher than that in the control group (31.0 (29.0, 34.0)) ( P<0.001). Furthermore, the differences of enterprising and magnanimous subscores between the two groups before and after intervention in the ICSMT group (2.0 (1.0, 4.0), 1.0 (-1.0, 2.0))were significantly higher than those in the control group (-1.0 (-1.0, 0), -1.0 (-1.2, 0)) (both P<0.05). Systolic and diastolic blood pressure values in the ICSMT group (130 (126, 134) mmHg, 85 (80, 88) mmHg)were significantly lower than those in the control group (145 (138, 152) mmHg, 93 (88, 99) mmHg)(1 mmHg=0.133 kPa) after 4 weeks of intervention(both P<0.05). After 4 weeks of intervention, the level of BUN in the ICSMT group (5.5 (3.7, 8.4) mmol/L) was significantly lower than that in the control group (9.1 (6.8, 11.4) mmol/L), while the level of Hb and ALB in the ICSMT group ((115.0±10.0)g/L, (38.3±3.2)g/L)were significantly higher than those in the control group ((104.0±12.0)g/L, (37.1±2.9)g/L) (all P<0.05). After 4 weeks of intervention, the physical functioning, role-physical, general health, vitality, social functioning, role-emotional, and mental health subscores of SF-36 in ICSMT group were all significantly higher than those in the control group (all P<0.05). After 4 weeks of intervention, the score of ADL in the ICSMT group (15.42±1.58)was significantly lower than that in the control group (16.78±2.06) ( t=-4.08, P<0.05). At the 2-week post-intervention and the 4-week post-intervention, the severity of illness (SI) and global improvement (GI) in the ICSMT group were significantly lower than those in the control group, while the efficacy index (EI) in the ICSMT group was significantly higher than that in the control group (all P<0.05). Conclusion:ICSMT can effectively promote the physical, psychological, and social functional rehabilitation of end-stage renal disease patients undergoing MHD, significantly improving their quality of life.
