Objective: To explore the association of physical activity and sugar sweetened beverage consumption with psychological sub health among middle school students in Bao an District, Shenzhen, so as to provide a reference for adolescent mental health promotion. Methods: A questionnaire survey was conducted in November 2024 by a stratified cluster random sampling method to select 6 926 junior and senior middle school students from 5 middle schools in Shenzhen. The questionnaire from Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System was used to assess the consumption of sugar sweetened beverages, and physical activity Rating Scale was used to assess the level of physical activity, and Brief Instrument on Psychological Health of Youths was used to evaluate the psychological sub health status. The Chi -square test was used to analyze the differences in the detection rates of psychological sub health among different groups of middle school students, and a multivariate Logistic regression model was established to analyze the effects of physical activity and sugar sweetened beverage consumption and their combined effects on the psychological sub health of middle school students. Results: The detection rate of psychological sub health among middle school students in Bao an District, Shenzhen was 18.93%. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that, after controlling for confounding factors such as gender, school stage, family residence, family economic status, parental literacy, academic stress and number of friends, lack of physical activity or excessive sugar sweetened beverage consumption were associated with increased risks of psychological sub health among middle school students ( OR =1.36, 1.45); and the highest risk of psychological sub health was found in middle school students who were lack of physical activity and excessive sugar sweetened beverage consumption ( OR =2.59) ( P <0.01). Further analysis by school stages showed that junior high school students with sufficient physical activity and excessive intake of sugary drinks ( ROR =2.10), lack of physical activity and excessive intake of sugary drinks ( ROR =2.31) were at higher risks of psychological sub health than senior high school students( P <0.05). Conclusions Insufficient physical activity and excessive sugar sweetened beverage consumption are closely associated with an increased risk of psychological sub health among middle school students. Effective interventions should be targeted to reduce the risk of psychological sub health problems among middle school students.

Kounis syndrome is an acute coronary syndrome triggered by an allergic reaction, which is clinically rare and frequently subject to misdiagnosis or missed diagnosis. This article presents a case report of a 70-year-old male patient who developed a rash, pruritus, and chest pain following colon polyp resection. Coronary angiography revealed occlusion of the left anterior descending artery, and blood flow was restored after stent implantation. However, the patient experienced recurrent symptoms accompanied by loss of consciousness. Drug skin tests confirmed positive reactions to chlorhexidine and fondaparinux sodium, leading to a diagnosis of type Ⅱ Kounis syndrome. By avoiding allergenic drugs and combining antihistamines with symptomatic treatment to correct myocardial ischemia, the patient′s clinical symptoms significantly improved, and he eventually recovered and was discharged from the hospital. This case underscores the importance of maintaining vigilance for this syndrome in patients with allergies accompanied by chest pain and promptly identifying and avoiding allergens.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effectiveness of three-dimensional (3D) printed customized hemi-pelvic prosthesis for pelvic reconstruction after resection of massive pelvic tumors. METHODS: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 26 patients with massive pelvic tumors who met the selection criteria and were treated between November 2021 and May 2024. The cohort included 11 males and 15 females, with a mean age of 52.65 years (range, 17-73 years). Histopathological diagnoses were as follows: 9 cases of chondrosarcoma, 2 of undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma, 4 of spindle cell sarcoma, 2 of osteosarcoma, 1 of solitary fibrous tumor, 1 of myxoid chondroma, 1 of malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor, 1 of chondromyxoid epithelioma, and 5 of metastatic malignant tumors. According to the Enneking classification, tumor involvement was distributed as 4 cases in zones Ⅰ+Ⅱ, 9 in zones Ⅱ+Ⅲ, 3 in zones Ⅰ+Ⅳ, 8 in zones Ⅰ+Ⅱ+Ⅲ, and 2 in zones Ⅰ+Ⅱ+Ⅳ. The disease duration ranged from 3 to 40 months, with a mean of 9.85 months. All patients underwent reconstruction with customized 3D-printed hemi-pelvic prostheses. The effectiveness was evaluated by Musculoskeletal Tumor Society (MSTS) score and Harris hip score before operation and at last follow-up, and pain levels were evaluated by visual analogue scale (VAS) score before operation, at 3 months after operation, and at last follow-up. RESULTS: The operation time ranged from 186 to 528 minutes, with a mean of 334.58 minutes. The intraoperative blood loss ranged from 1 400 to 4 000 mL, with a mean of 2173.08 mL, and the transfusion volume ranged from 750 to 3 500 mL, with a mean of 1 659.62 mL. All 26 patients were followed up 10-42 months (mean, 18.5 months). Postoperative complications included prosthetic dislocation in 2 cases, which were attributed to improper positioning during home care and an accidental fall, respectively. One patient developed a vesicocutaneous fistula and poor wound healing due to pre-existing tumor invasion into the bladder. One patient experienced failure and loosening of the internal fixation at 8 months after operation caused by local tumor recurrence, and subsequently died at 14 months postoperatively due to progression of brain metastases. Postoperative complications such as poor healing of incisions, prosthetic dislocation, or failure of internal fixation was not observed in the remaining patients. At last follow-up, the walking ability of most patients recovered to varying degrees. The VAS scores at 3 months and at last follow-up significantly improved when compared with those before operation, and the scores at last follow-up further improved when compared with 3 months after operation, all showing significant differences ( P<0.05). The MSTS scores and Harris scores at last follow-up were significantly higher than those before operation ( P<0.05). CONCLUSION 3D printed customized hemi-pelvic prosthesis is effective for reconstruction of massive pelvic tumors after resection, but there are still some limitations, and soft tissue reconstruction should be paid attention to.

Objective: To explore the association among neck-shoulder pain (NSP), low back pain (LBP) and co occurring symptoms with mental sub health in adolescents, so as to provide evidence for improving physical and mental health of adolescents. Methods: Stratified cluster random sampling method was used to select 7 986 students from 12 middle and high schools in Shenzhen, Nanchang, and Shenyang cities from October to December 2019. The Assessment of Spinal Health of Youth (ASHY) and the Brief Instrument on Psychological Health of Youth (BIOPHY) were used to assess NSP, LBP and mental sub health. Binary Logistic regression model was used to analyze the association between NSP, LBP and co occurring symptoms with mental sub health in adolescents. Results: The detection rates of adolescents with NSP, LBP and co occurring symptoms and mental sub health were 9.1% , 9.8%, 9.5%, and 10.0%, respectively. The co occurring rate of neck shoulder pain, low back pain and mental sub health was 3.2%. After adjusting for confounding variables such as gender, age, being an only child, family residence, and parental education level, NSP ( OR=6.01, 95%CI =5.02-7.19), LBP ( OR=5.08, 95%CI =4.25-6.07), and co occurring symptoms ( OR= 5.96 , 95%CI =4.98-7.12) in adolescents were positively correlated with mental sub health risk ( P <0.01). Stratifying the gender, boys with NSP, LBP and co occurring symptoms ( OR =6.84, 5.80, 6.74)had a higher risk of mental sub health compared to girls ( OR =5.52, 4.65, 5.49) ( P <0.01). Conclusions NSP, LBP and co occurring symptoms in adolescents are associated with mental sub health. The mental health status of boys is more affected by NSP, LBP and their co occurring symptoms. Measures should be taken to improve spinal health in adolescents to reduce the incidence of mental sub health.

Objective: To analyze the correlation and gender differences between adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and positive childhood experiences (PCEs) and depression and anxiety symptoms among middle school students, so as to provide a reference for promoting the mental health of middle school students. Methods: With a stratified random cluster sampling method, a total of 6 656 middle school students in 4 cities, including Nanchang, Shenyang, Taiyuan, and Zhengzhou, were selected as research subjects from October 2021 to October 2022. The Adverse Childhood Experiences International Questionnaire (ACEs-IQ), Benevolent Childhood Experiences Scale (BCEs), Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) and Generalized Anxiety Disorders-7 (GAD-7) scale were used to conduct questionnaire surveys.The Chi square test was used to compare the reporting rates of depression and anxiety symptoms among middle school students in different groups, and a Logistic regression model was established to analyze the effects of ACEs and PCEs on depression and anxiety symptoms among middle school students and their gender differences. Results: The reporting rate of depressive symptoms among middle school students was 20.1%, and the reporting rate of anxiety symptoms was 13.9% . ACEs were positively correlated with depression and anxiety symptoms among middle school students (depression symptoms: OR =1.20, 95% CI =1.18-1.22, anxiety symptoms: OR =1.18, 95% CI =1.16-1.20), while PCEs were negatively correlated with depression and anxiety symptoms among middle school students(depression symptoms: OR =0.84, 95% CI = 0.83 -0.86, anxiety symptoms: OR =0.85, 95% CI =0.83-0.87) ( P <0.05). In the general population (depression symptoms ： OR =0.99, 95% CI = 0.98- 0.99, anxiety symptoms: OR =0.99, 95% CI =0.99-1.00) and among girls (depression symptoms: OR = 0.98 , 95% CI = 0.97- 0.99 , anxiety symptoms ： OR =0.99, 95% CI =0.98-1.00), the interaction term between ACEs and PCEs were negatively correlated with depression and anxiety symptoms ( P <0.05). Conclusions ACEs significantly affect the depression and anxiety symptoms of middle school students, while PCEs can help reduce the impact of ACEs on the depression and anxiety symptoms of middle school students, girls are more susceptible to the impact of early experiences than boys. It should focus on gender differences, formulate comprehensive mental health protection strategies, to promote the mental health development of middle school students.

Objective: To understand the association of maternal emotional symptoms and parent-child relationship with emotional and behavioral problems (EBPs) in primary school students, so as to provide a reference for the prevention of EBPs in primary school students. Methods: In May 2023, a convenient cluster sampling method was used to select 1 324 students from two primary schools in Hefei City, Anhui Province as the study subjects. The Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7), Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9), Family Adaptation and Cohesion Evaluation ScalesⅡ (FACES Ⅱ), and Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) of parental version were used to investigate maternal emotional symptoms, parent-child relationship, and EBPs of primary school students, respectively. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis model was used to analyze the association of different maternal emotional symptoms and parent-child relationship with EBPs of primary school students. Results: The abnormal detection rates of emotional symptoms, conduct problems, hyperactivity disorder, peer problems, prosocial behavior and total difficulties in primary school students were 13.6%, 19.4%, 20.2%, 36.5%, 20.9% and 51.9%, respectively. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that the detection rates of EBPs in primary school students whose mothers had anxiety and depression symptoms with low level of parent-child relationship increased ( OR=1.52-6.97, P <0.01). The combined effect of mothers who had anxiety and depression symptoms with low level of parent-child relationship increased the risk of EBPs in all dimensions of primary school students ( OR=4.07-10.14, P <0.01). After gender stratification, the combined effect of mothers who had anxiety and depression symptoms with low level of parent-child relationship increased the risk of EBPs in all dimensions of boys and girls ( OR=3.71- 10.95 , P <0.01). Conclusions Maternal emotional symptoms and parent-child relationship are associated with EBPs in primary school students. Reducing maternal anxiety and depression symptoms, and improving parent-child relationship are beneficial to reduce the incidence of EBPs problems in primary school students.

ObjectiveTo explore the association between short-term exposure to atmospheric fine particulate matter （PM_2.5） and ozone （O₃） and systemic inflammatory indicators in patients with pneumonia， and to identify the susceptible populations. MethodsFrom September 2018 to April 2020， data of 1 480 patients admitted for pneumonia was collected from a tertiary hospital in Taiyuan City. Generalized additive models （GAMs） were used to explore the associations between PM_2.5 and O₃ exposure and inflammatory indicators of patients with pneumonia； and to explore the susceptibility factors and susceptible populations to PM_2.5 and O₃ exposures through stratified analyses. ResultsThe short-term exposure to PM_2.5 was associated with changes in peripheral blood C-reation protein （CRP）， erythrocyte sedimentation （ESR）， easinophil （EOS）， neutrophil （NEU） and neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio （NLR） in patients with pneumonia， and there were different degrees of hysteresis effects， with the effect values reaching a maximum at lag03， lag03， lag0， lag03， lag03， respectively， which were 4.13% （95%CI： 0.43%‒7.84%）， 3.10% （95%CI： 0.24%‒5.97%）， 5.27% （95%CI： 3.12%‒7.42%）， 1.85% （95%CI： 0.36%‒3.34%）， and 2.53% （95%CI： 0.53%‒4.74%） for every 10 μg·m^-3 of PM_2.5. The changes in O₃ concentration were associated with the elevation of peripheral blood PCT and ESR in patients with pneumonia， and their effect values all reached the maximum at lag01 d， every 1 μg·m^-3 of O₃ elevation increased by 0.38% （95%CI： 0.04%‒0.73%） and 0.47% （95%CI： 0.19%‒0.76%）， respectively. Stratified analyses showed that the associations of PM_2.5 with peripheral blood CRP， ESR， NEU， and NLR in pneumonia patients were more significant in males， the elderly， and those with onset in the cold season； the associations of O₃ with peripheral blood PCT and ESR in pneumonia patients were more significant in the elderly and those with onset in the warm season， and the peripheral blood CRP and PCT in female patients with pneumonia were more susceptible to the changes of O₃. ConclusionShort-term exposure to atmospheric PM_2.5 and O₃ are positively associated with changes in inflammatory indicators in patients with pneumonia， and the effects of PM_2.5 on patients with pneumonia are more extensive than those of O₃， with a longer lag effect. In addition， elderly patients with pneumonia are more sensitive to air pollution， male patients with pneumonia are more sensitive to PM_2.5， and female patients with pneumonia are more sensitive to O₃. Cold and warm seasons can exacerbate the effects of PM_2.5 and O₃ on inflammatory indicators in patients with pneumonia， respectively， and the patients must be protected well.

Objective:To analyze the association between waist circumference (WC) and ischemic stroke (IS).Methods:The data for the present study were from the prospective cohort study of China Kadoorie Biobank in Qingdao. Using baseline information and IS events of the participants, the Cox proportional hazard regression model and restricted cubic spline (RCS) were used to analyze the association between WC and IS.Results:A total of 33 355 participants were included in the study, with 302 008.88 person-years of follow-up. A total of 1 093 new cases of IS were observed. Multivariate Cox proportional hazard regression model analysis showed that compared to the respondents with normal WC (male <85.0 cm, female <80.0 cm), respondents with excessive WC (male ≥85.0 cm, female ≥80.0 cm) had a 78% higher risk of IS incidence [hazard ratio( HR)=1.78, 95% CI: 1.51-2.10], and the risk increased by 72% ( HR=1.72, 95% CI: 1.40-2.12) and 83% ( HR=1.83, 95% CI: 1.40-2.39) in men and women. According to the RCS, the increase in WC and the risk of IS showed an "S" trend of nonlinear dose-response relationship. Conclusions:The risk of IS would increase with the WC. Keeping a normal WC is important for preventing IS.

Objective To detect and analyze the expression levels of serum microRNA(miR)-455 and miR-383 in patients with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC),and to explore their clinical diagnostic value.Methods A total of 98 NSCLC patients in our hospital from March 2020 to January 2023 were regarded as the NSCLC group,98 patients with benign lung diseases admitted during the same period were regarded as the benign lung disease group,and another 98 healthy volunteers who underwent physical examination in our hospital during the same period were collected as the health group.Real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR(RT-qPCR)method was applied to detect the expression levels of miR-455 and miR-383 in serum.Pearson was applied to analyze the correlation between serum miR-455 expression level and miR-383 level in NSCLC patients;multivariate Logistic regression and ROC curve was applied to analyze the influencing factors and diagnostic value of NSCLC occurrence.Results The expression levels of miR-455 and miR-383 in the serum of the healthy group,benign lung disease group,and NSCLC group decreased sequentially.Pearson analysis showed there was a positive correlation between serum miR-455 expression level and miR-383 level in NSCLC patients(r=0.582,P＜0.05).Logistic analysis found that low expression levels of miR-455 and miR-383 were risk factors for the occurrence of NSCLC(P＜0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that the AUC of NSCLC diagnosed by the combination of miR-455 and miR-383 was obviously higher than that diagnosed by miR-455 alone(Z=3.604,P=0.000)and miR-383 alone(Z=2.594,P=0.010).Conclusion The relative expression levels of miR-455 and miR-383 in serum of NSCLC patients are obviously down-regulated.The combined detection of the two has high diagnostic value for NSCLC.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the clinical and immunological characteristics of anti-synthetase syndrome (ASS) patients overlap with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). METHODS: A retrospective analysis was conducted on ASS patients with arthritis who were treated at Peking University People' s Hospital. Data collected included demographic information, clinical manifestations, laboratory features, lymphocyte subsets in peripheral blood, and treatments. The patients with ASS were divided into two groups based on the presence or absence of RA for comparative analysis. RESULTS: A total of 104 ASS patients with arthritis were included, among whom 23.1% (24/104) were diagnosed with RA. The ASS with RA group had a significantly higher incidence of rapidly progressive interstitial lung disease (RP-ILD) (41.7% vs. 17.6%, P=0.032), number of tender joints [10 (7, 14) vs. 4 (0, 8), P < 0.001], number of swollen joints [4 (2, 8) vs. 2 (0, 4), P=0.012], and rate of bone erosion (47.8% vs. 2.5%, P < 0.001) compared with the non-RA group. Levels of platelets [(289.57±68.74)×10³/μL vs. (247.94±77.04)×10³/μL, P=0.022], erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) [43 (19, 59) mm/h vs. 18 (10, 44) mm/h, P=0.019], and C-reactive protein (CRP) [19.20 (4.80, 55.36) mg/L vs. 5.68 (1.10, 14.96) mg/L, P=0.006] were found significantly higher in the ASS with RA group than those in non-RA group. Analysis of immune cells in peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) showed that significantly decreased proportions of CLA⁺ Treg cells [(11.12±4.10)% vs. (17.22±8.49)%, P=0.003], B cells [8.56% (4.80%, 11.90%) vs. 14.55% (8.75%, 20.29%), P=0.025], and natural killer (NK) cells [7.56% (4.65%, 13.20%) vs. 13.25% (7.46%, 19.25%), P=0.045] in the overlap group compared with non-RA group. Proportion of Naïve Th cells [(52.66±17.66)% vs. (40.76±14.96)%, P=0.033)] was significantly increased in overlap group compared with non-RA group. Overlap group had lower rate of complete clinical response than non-RA group (16.7% vs. 43.8%, P=0.031). CONCLUSION Among ASS patients with arthritis, those with RA have more severe lung and joint involvement and a lower treatment response rate, highlighting the need for early recognition and aggressive intervention.
