Objectives:To examine the proportion and trends of cervical adenocarcinoma in cervical cancer (ICC), mainly including cervical adenocarcinoma (CADC) and squamous cervical cancer (SCC) in China, and to analyze the distribution of human papilloma virus (HPV) in CADC and SCC.Methods:Published studies reporting HPVs distribution in various histological types or relative proportions of CADC in ICC in China were identified manually and searched systematically in Medline, Embase, Cochrane Library databases, CNKI and Wanfang since the databases were established until October 2022. Meta-analysis was performed using Stata 16.0 software. And we applied the random-effects models to estimate the combined effect values due to the high heterogeneity.Results:Twenty-three studies were eligible. The relative prevalence of CADC was 9.0% (95% CI, 7.7%－10.3%). According to the diagnosis time of ICC, the patients were divided into three time periods, which is 1979-2005, 2006-2011, 2012-2022 respectively. The prevalence of CADC by time was: 6.0% in 1979-2005, 8.1% in 2006-2011, and 9.5% in 2012-2022, respectively, with no statistically significant trend in proportions over time (χ 2=5.03, P=0.081). Meanwhile, the percentage of CADC also varies by regions, and the highest percentage of CADC was found in the eastern region (11.2%), followed by the western region (7.3%) and the central region (5.9%). The total prevalence of HPV infection in CADC was 72.3%, which was lower than 92.0% in SCC, and the difference was statistically significant (χ 2=300.89, P＜0.01). To be specific, the top three HPV types prevalent in CADC were HPV18 (45.0%), HPV16 (22.0%), and HPV52 (7.3%), and those prevalent in the SCC were HPV16 (64.2%), HPV52 (5.6%), HPV18 (5.4%). The results of the Egger's test, and Begg's test showed that there was no publication bias in this study and sensitivity analysis showed that the results of this study were fairly stable. Conclusions:The proportion of CADC in China has increased in a limited way in the past decades, and there are regional differences in the proportion of CADC. The predominant type is HPV18 in CADC and HPV16 in SCC. To eliminate the limitations of the secondary literature, a multicenter study with consistent diagnostic levels and identical HPV genotyping tests is still needed in the future to better characterize the relative proportion of cervical adenocarcinoma and the trend of HPV changes, which will provide a basis for the improvement of HPV vaccine and screening policies.

The top three institutions in terms of publication volume were Indiana University (34 articles), Mayo Clinic (32 articles), and the University of Pittsburgh (23 articles). The top three institutions in terms of citation frequency were Indiana University (3 524 times), Mayo Clinic (2 675 times), and the University of Minnesota (1 951 times). Among Chinese institutions, Shanghai Jiao Tong University ranked the 4th in publication volume (22 articles), and Nanchang University ranked the 10th (17 articles), but their citation frequencies were relatively low (Shanghai Jiao Tong University 233 times, Nanchang University 108 times). The author with the highest publication volume in the PEP field was Sherman S (32 articles), and the author with the highest co-citation frequency ranking was Cotton PB (769 times). The keyword network map revealed distinct clusters covering themes such as the pathogenesis, risk factors, pharmacological prevention, procedural prevention, and management of PEP. Burst keyword analysis showed that the keyword with the longest emergence time was "Oddi dysfunction" and the keyword with the highest burst strength was "rectal indomethacin".Conclusions:Since the beginning of this century, PEP research has developed rapidly, and China has a certain academic influence on PEP internationally. Research on risk factors and preventive measures remains a research hotspot in the field of PEP.

Objective:To investigate the potential key targets of Liujun Anwei Prescription and its effects on NF-κB/iNOS-NO in small intestine of mice with chemotherapy- associated diarrhea; To reveal the anti-inflammatory components and molecular mechanism.Methods:UPLC-Q/TOF MS combined with UNIFI software was used to analyze the chemical components of Liujun Anwei Prescription. PubChem database was searched to obtain the active components of Liujun Anwei Prescription, and the Swiss Target Prediction was used to predict the targets. The database of DisGeNET, OMIM and GeneCards were searched to obtain the targets of chemotherapy-related diarrhea. The potential targets of Liujun Anwei Prescription in the treatment of chemotherapy-related diarrhea diseases were obtained by crossing the targets of active components of Liujun Anwei Prescription and those related to diarrhea diseases. The PPI network and component-target-pathway network were constructed by Cytoscape 3.7.1 software, and the intersecting targets were analyzed by GO and KEGG based on David Database. The potential active components and potential targets predicted in the network were verified by using Autodock software. 60 C57BL/6J male mice were divided into normal control group, model group, positive control group and Liujun Anwei Prescription high-, medium- and low-dosage groups according to random number table method, with 10 mice in each group. In addition to the normal control group, the other groups of mice were intraperitoneally injected with 5-fluorouracil injection 50 mg/kg preparation to construct CID mouse model. After 14 days, the expressions of NF-κB and iNOS in jejunum were detected by Western blot.Results:A total of 197 compounds were identified, and 156 key compounds of Liujun Anwei Prescription were screened, involving 82 potential targets, mainly through NOS2 and other key targets, playing a role through cancer pathway, PI3K-Akt, NF-κB signal pathway. The experimental results showed that Liujun Anwei Prescription could significantly down-regulate the protein expressions of NF-κB and iNOS.Conclusion:This study reveals the pharmacodynamic material basis of Liujun Anwei Prescription, which can be achieved by decreaseing the levels of NF-κB and iNOS to affect the inflammatory response of intestinal tissue, improve intestinal mucosal barrier function, and thus improve chemotherapy related diarrhea.

Audiovisual integration is a vital information process involved in cognition and is closely correlated with aging and Alzheimer's disease (AD). In this review, we evaluated the altered audiovisual integrative behavioral symptoms in AD. We further analyzed the relationships between AD pathologies and audiovisual integration alterations bidirectionally and suggested the possible mechanisms of audiovisual integration alterations underlying AD, including the imbalance between energy demand and supply, activity-dependent degeneration, disrupted brain networks, and cognitive resource overloading. Then, based on the clinical characteristics including electrophysiological and imaging data related to audiovisual integration, we emphasized the value of audiovisual integration alterations as potential biomarkers for the early diagnosis and progression of AD. We also highlighted that treatments targeted audiovisual integration contributed to widespread pathological improvements in AD animal models and cognitive improvements in AD patients. Moreover, investigation into audiovisual integration alterations in AD also provided new insights and comprehension about sensory information processes.

Objective To explore the effect of Naikan cognitive-music reminiscence therapy on coping style in female patients with chronic schizophrenia.Methods In May, 2020, 72 female patients with chronic schizophrenia from Beijing Huilongguan Hospital were assigned into control group (n = 48) and music group (n = 24) after trait matching. Both groups accepted routine medicine, while the control group accepted Naikan cognitive therapy, and the music group accepted Naikan cognitive therapy combined music reminiscence, for twelve weeks. They were blind assessed with Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire, Self-rating Depression Scale and Self-rating Anxiety Scale before and after intervention.Results There were five cases in the control group removed for erroneous response. The main effects of group were not significant for all the assessments (F < 0.567, P > 0.05). The main effect of time was significant for negative coping style score (F = 6.968, P = 0.01), and the interaction effects were significant for positive coping style score and Self-rating Depression Scale score (F > 4.227, P < 0.05).Conclusion Combining with music reminiscence, Naikan cognitive therapy may be advantageous for the coping style of female patients with chronic schizophrenia.

Hyaluronic acid (HA) was used as drug delivery carrier, and the doxorubicin (DOX), IR808 and catalase (CAT) were modified on hyaluronic acid (HA) to form the nano-probe CAT@HA-DOX-IR808 NPs with anti-tumor and fluorescence imaging by self-assembly.It was characterized by UV-Vis spectrophotometer, fluorescence spectrophotometer and transmission electron microscope, and its fluorescence imaging and antitumor activity were studied at solution and cell level.The experimental results showed that CAT@HA-DOX-IR808 NPs displayed a uniform near-spherical morphology with a size of 75 nm approximately.Under the condition of pH 5.0 + hyaluronidase (HAase), the release rate of DOX reached more than 80% in the first 10 hours. In the CD44 positive cells, laser confocal imaging results showed that the group of CAT@HA-DOX-IR808 NPs had more significant fluorescence signals than the group of free drugs and negative cell.In the cytotoxicity test, only about 40% of the MDA-MB-231 cells survived at the highest concentration of CAT@HA-DOX-IR808 NPs of the group of CAT@HA-DOX-IR808 NPs + NIR.Therefore, CAT@HA-DOX-IR808 NPs possess significantly enhanced anti-tumor effect with broad application prospect in the imaging and treatment of breast cancer in vitro.

Dysregulated crosstalk between different signaling pathways contributes to tumor development, including resistance to cancer therapy. In the present study, we found that the mitogen-activated extracellular signal-regulated kinase (MEK) inhibitor trametinib failed to suppress the proliferation of PANC-1 and MGC803 cells by activating the Janus kinase 2 (JAK2)/signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) signaling pathway, while the JAK2 inhibitor fedratinib failed to inhibit the growth of the PANC-1 cells upon stimulation of extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) signaling. In particular, the most prominent enhancement of the anti-proliferative effect resulted from the concurrent blockage of the JAK2/STAT3 and ERK signaling pathways. Furthermore, the combination of the two inhibitors resulted in a reduced tumor burden in mice. Our evidence suggests novel crosstalk between JAK2/STAT3 and ERK signaling in gastric cancer (GC) and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) cells and provides a therapeutic strategy to overcome potential resistance in gastrointestinal cancer.
