ObjectiveTo explore the training path of rehabilitation therapy professionals in local colleges and universities under the background of New Medicine. MethodsTaking Jining Medical University as an example, combining the interdisciplinary integration, intelligent driving and people-oriented New Medicine attributes of rehabilitation therapy, this study focused on the current practical problems in rehabilitation education, accurately aligned with the requirements of new medicine construction, reshaped the curriculum system with new concepts, empowered practical innovation with new technologies, and cultivated humanistic literacy with new connotations. By deeply integrating digital construction with educational practice, it carried out the construction and practice of the New Medicine talent training model in rehabilitation therapy, helping students form a stereoscopic knowledge structure, possess the ability to apply intelligent rehabilitation technology and solve complex rehabilitation problems, and become high-quality rehabilitation therapy talents with both morality and ability. ResultsThe overall construction of the rehabilitation therapy major established a model of Dual fusion foundation, Three element empowerment and Three dimensional soul casting, including reform and innovation in curriculum system, practical mode and moral education mechanism. It has formed a health oriented "vertical and horizontal integration-discipline fusion" dual-fusion stereoscopic curriculum system, an intelligent led "theory and practice-science and education-industry and education" three element integration practical mode, and a confucian medical culture "curriculum-practice-evaluation" three-dimensional integrated moral education mechanism. Through practical testing, this model achieved significant results and was widely recognized, including a significant improvement in the quality of talent cultivation, prominent achievements in resource construction, and prominent achievements in health services, providing strong support for the construction of regional rehabilitation medical systems. ConclusionThe reform of the rehabilitation treatment talent training model at Jining Medical University under the background of New Medicine provides a replicable and promotable practical paradigm for the training of rehabilitation talents in similar universities through reshaping the curriculum system, strengthening practical innovation, and cultivating humanistic literacy.

International Eye Science 2025;25(8):1261-1266
Central retinal vein occlusion(CRVO)is a retinal vascular disorder that significantly impairs vision, with its underlying mechanisms involving complex interactions across multiple biological systems. This article provides a systematic review of the pathological mechanisms associated with CRVO, emphasizing critical factors such as endothelial dysfunction, arteriosclerosis, thrombophilia, inflammation, and oxidative stress. The pathological mechanisms of CRVO are characterized by arteriosclerosis, which obstructs venous return through a dual mechanism involving mechanical compression and endothelin-1-mediated contraction; endothelial dysfunction, which exacerbates disturbances in blood flow; genetic and acquired coagulation abnormalities that disrupt hemostatic balance and promote thrombosis; and the synergistic effects of inflammation and oxidative stress that activate cytokines, thereby aggravating ischemia and vascular leakage. Innovatively, this review explores emerging mechanisms such as miRNA-mediated vascular regulation via exosomes, gut microbiota-retina crosstalk through the “gut-eye axis,” and systemic metabolic interactions that link local retinal lesions to broader dysregulation of CRVO. These insights underscore the importance of integrated eye-system interventions and provide a theoretical foundation for advancing early biomarker discovery, multitarget therapeutics, and personalized treatment paradigms. By bridging localized pathology and systemic mechanisms, this work promotes a transformative shift toward an integrative medicine model in the diagnosis and management of CRVO.

Objective To explore the mechanism of Cistanche phenylethanoid glycosides(CPhGs)in treating osteoporosis by regu-lating osteogenic differentiation via SIRT2-C/EBPβ-AREG axis. Methods An osteoporosis mouse model was established using ova-riectomy.Trabecular number/thickness,bone formation rate, and tissue morphology were evaluated using micro-computed tomography, calcein double labeling, and hematoxylin and eosin staining,respectively.SIRT2,C/EBPβ,AREG,proteins related to the SIRT2-C/EBPβ-AREG axis, were analyzed by Western blotting and co-immunoprecipitation.The mRNA expression of osteogenic differentiation marker genes OCN,OPN,RUNX2,C/EBPβ,and AREG were detected by real-time quantitative PCR.Results CPhGs intervention significantly improved the trabecular microarchitecture and promoted bone formation in mice undergoing ovariectomy, and the mechanism involved the activation of SIRT2-mediated deacetylation of C/EBPβ,which in turn upregulated AREG expression.Cell experiments confirmed that CPhGs significantly increased the activity of alkaline phosphatase and the expression of osteogenic genes such as OCN,OPN,and RUNX2 in MC3T3-E1 cells by enhancing the interaction between SIRT2 and C/EBPβ.Notably,this effect could be reversed by SIRT2 knockdown. Conclusion CPhGs regulate the osteogenic differentiation process through the SIRT2-C/EBPβ-AREG axis, providing a new molecular target and theoretical basis for the treatment of osteoporosis with the active ingredients of traditional Chinese medicine.

Objective:To study the incidence and epidemiological characteristics of tsutsugamushi disease in Ankang City, Shaanxi Province. Methods:From 2018 to 2023, data on tsutsugamushi disease cases reported by various medical institutions at all levels in Ankang City were collected through the China Disease Prevention and Control Information System. At the same time, individual epidemiological investigation of reported cases was carried out, and electronic medical records of patients were retrieved to verify their diagnosis. In 2023, the rodents and chigger mites were monitored in 3 townships with high incidence of tsutsugamushi disease in Ankang City by night clamping method, and the chigger mites rate and chigger mites index were calculated. Blood, liver, spleen and kidney samples of rodents were collected, DNA of blood and organ mixture was extracted, and quantitative real-time PCR was used to detect Orientia tsutsugamushi. Results:A total of 330 cases of tsutsugamushi disease were reported in Ankang City from 2018 to 2023, and the reported incidence rate increased from 0.56/100 000 in 2018 to 5.02/100 000 in 2023. Among them, 139 were males and 191 were females, with a sex ratio of 0.73∶1.00. The age was mainly 45 - 70 years old, accounting for 81.52% (269/330). The occupation was mainly farmers, accounting for 86.97% (287/330). The onset time was mainly concentrated from April to October, with a total of 317 cases, accounting for 96.06% (317/330).
