Growth arrest DNA damage-inducible protein 45 β (GADD45B) has been reported to be a regulatory factor for active DNA demethylation and is implicated in the modulation of synaptic plasticity and chronic stress-related psychopathological processes. However, its precise role and mechanism of action in stress susceptibility remain elusive. In this study, we found a significant reduction in GADD45B expression specifically in the ventral, but not the dorsal hippocampal CA1 (dCA1) of stress-susceptible mice. Furthermore, we demonstrated that GADD45B negatively regulates susceptibility to social stress and NMDA receptor-dependent long-term potentiation (LTP) in the ventral hippocampal CA1 (vCA1). Importantly, through pharmacological inhibition using the NMDA receptor antagonist MK801, we provided further evidence supporting the hypothesis that GADD45B potentially modulates susceptibility to social stress by influencing NMDA receptor-mediated LTP. Collectively, these results suggested that modulation of NMDA receptor-mediated synaptic plasticity is a pivotal mechanism underlying the regulation of susceptibility to social stress by GADD45B.

It is believed that retention due to deficient qi is an important pathogenesis of endometriosis （EMs）. Deficient qi is the root of the disease， mainly manifested as spleen deficiency， while retention is the branch pathogenesis of the disease， mainly with blood stasis， complicated with constraint， phlegm， heat， toxin and other pathological factors. Therefore， it is proposed to follow the treatment principle of supplementing deficiency and unblocking stagnation， and take the methods of replenishing qi and fortifying the spleen， removing stasis and eliminating concretions. Self-made Fuzheng Huayu Formula （扶正化瘀方） is taken as the basic formula， and can be modified with the symptoms in menstrual and non-menstrual periods. Additionally， the methods of moving qi， dispelling phlegm， clearing heat， relieving toxin and others can be combined， and it is recommended to treat the root and the branch simultaneously.

Objective To establish a quality indicator system of interventional nursing.Methods Taking Donabedian quality structure model as the theoretical basis and through literature analysis,expert meeting and summarizing the clinical problems,the first draft about interventional nursing care quality indicators was composed,which included 3 first-level indicators,12 second-level indicators and 55 third-level indicators.A total of 27 experts on interventional nursing and nursing administration were selected from 25 grade-3A level hospitals in 13 provinces and cities of China.The Delphi method was used to conduct two rounds of expert correspondence consultation,and the quality indicator system of interventional nursing was established.Results Finally,a quality indicator system of interventional nursing,which included 3 first-level indicators,7 second-level indicators and 29 third-level indicators,was formulated.In both the two rounds of expert letter inquiry,the positive coefficient and authority coefficient were 100％and 0.95 respectively.The coefficient of variation of each index in the first and the second round of expert letter inquiry was 0-0.25 and 0-0.21 respectively.In the first round of expert letter inquiry,the Kendall harmony coefficients of the first-level,second-level and third-level indexes were 0.672,0.271 and 0.341 respectively,while in the second round of expert letter inquiry,the Kendall harmony coefficients of the first-level,second-level and third-level indexes were 0.462,0.475 and 0.330 respectively,the differences were statistically significant(all P＜0.01).Conclusion The quality indicator system of interventional nursing established in this study carries a relatively high reliability and scientific nature,and it can provide reference for evaluating and monitoring the safety and quality control in interventional nursing.

Objective To explore the effect of virtual reality(VR)technology on relieving intraoperative pain in patients receiving transcatheter hepatic artery chemoembolization(TACE).Methods A total of 76 patients,who received TACE from June 2023 to January 2024,were enrolled in this study.Using random number table method,the patients were divided into control group(n=38)and study group(n=38).Intraoperative routine nursing was carried out for the patients of the control group,while on the basis of routine nursing additional VR technology was adopted to relieve the intraoperative pain for the patients of the study group.The degree of intraoperative pain,anxiety symptoms,incidence of intraoperative adverse reactions and patient satisfaction with nursing were compared between the two groups.Results The degree of intraoperative pain in the study group was lower than that in the control group,but the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P＞0.05).The analgesic effect of VR was much obvious in patients aged≤55 years and in patients with vascular invasion of liver cancer(P＜0.05).The anxiety score in the study group was lower than that in the control group,the patient satisfaction score in the study group was higher than that in the control group,and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(both P＜0.05).No statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions existed between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Immersive VR technology can effectively reduce the degree of intraoperative pain in patients receiving TACE,especially in patients aged ≤55 years.Besides,VR technology can also reduce the anxiety degree of patients,and improve the degree of intraoperative patient satisfaction with nursing.

【Objective】 To analyze the hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection data of blood donors from 18 domestic blood stations, so as to investigate the HBV infection situation of blood donors. 【Methods】 The positive rate of HBV and its distribution characteristics of regions, the percentage of HBsAg+ ELISA in first-time vs repeated blood donors, and the percentage of HBsAg-/HBV DNA+ blood donors of 18 domestic blood stations during 2017 to 2020 were collected from the Working Platform for Practice Comparison of Blood Centers, and the HBV infection among blood donors were statistically analyzed. 【Results】 From 2017 to 2020, the positive rate of HBV in blood donors among 18 domestic blood stations was 13.48/10 000-144.02/10 000, with the average HBV positive rate in eastern, central and western region at 26.14/10 000, 51.98/10 000 and 41.00/10 000, respectively. The HBsAg+ rate by ELISA among first-time and repeated blood donors was 14.55/10 000-305.39/10 000 vs 1.04/10 000-87.43/10 000 The HBsAg-/HBV DNA+ yield was 1.80/10 000-35.31/10 000. 【Conclusion】 The distribution of HBV infection in blood donors has regional characteristics, and HBV prevalence was low in repeated blood donors. HBsAg ELISA combined with HBV DNA detection can better ensure blood safety.

【Objective】 To understand the current situation of blood components distribution in domestic prefecture-level blood stations through analyzing the components distribution data of 24 prefecture-level blood stations in China. 【Methods】 The data of components distribution of 24 blood stations from 2017 to 2020 as well as the data of blood deployment of 24 blood stations from 2019 to 2020 were collected and analyzed. 【Results】 From 2017 to 2020, positive annual growth in red blood cells, plasma and cryoprecipitate was observed in 22, 19 and 15 out of the 24 blood stations, and the annual growth median rate of above three components was 5.24%, 3.80% and 3.25%, respectively. Among the 24 prefecture-level blood stations, 23 carried out the preparation of cryoprecipitate. 【Conclusion】 The distribution of red blood cells, cryoprecipitate and plasma in prefecture-level blood stations is increasing year by year. However, there is a overstock of plasma, and most blood stations need blood employment.

【Objective】 To study the annual financial expenditure in blood stations with different scales, and to establish the regression equation between blood collection units and total expenditure. 【Methods】 The annual total expenditure, the per capita cost of serving population, as well as the collection units of whole blood and apheresis platelet of 24 blood stations were collected. The financial expenditure required for collecting 10 000U blood was calculated.The statistical analysis was carried out with SPSS statistical software. 【Results】 From 2017 to 2020, the total annual financial expenditure of 24 blood stations showed an upward trend. The total expenditure among blood stations was different. The per capita cost of servicing population in the areas where the 24 blood stations were located had been increasing year by year. The 24 blood stations were divided into two grades according to the blood collection volume as 50 000 U, and the relationship equation between the blood collection volume and the annual total expenditure had been established. After testing, each equation was effective(P<0.05); There was no difference in the financial expenditure required for collecting 10 000U blood among blood stations with different scales. 【Conclusion】 From 2017 to 2020, the blood stations with an annual collection volume more than 50 000 U demonstrated a higher financial expenditure and the per capita cost of serving population than those <50 000 U. The blood collection volume of blood stations is significantly correlated with the annual total expenditure and the per capita cost of serving population.

Objective To study the association, clinical presentation, and diagnosis and treatment of bile duct cancer as a late complication of biliary-enteric anastomoses for benign diseases. Methods A retrospective study was carried out on 5 patients and the medical literature was reviewed. Results They were 3 males and 2 females. The average age was ( 66. 0 ± 0. 7 ) years. The average time period was ( 14. 0 ± 6. 1 ) years after biliary-enteric anastomosis. The clinical presentations included right upper quadrant pain, fever, chills and jaundice. CA19-9, CT and MRI were valuable in diagnosis. There were two patients with distal and three patients with perihilar cholangiocarcinomas (type IIIa, n=2, and type IV, n=1). Local resection with lymphadenectomy was carried out in one patient. Another patient underwent pancreaticoduodenectomy. The remaining three patients only underwent percutaneous transhepatic cholangial drainage ( PTCD). The 2 patients who underwent surgery died of progressive tumor disease at 8 and 13 months postoperatively. The other three patients who underwent palliative biliary drainage died within 6 months of PTCD. There was no significant difference between the two types of treatment ( P ＞0. 05). Conclusions Chronic cholangitis caused by reflux and bacterial infection was properly a predisposing factor leading to late development of bile duct cancer after biliary-enteric anastomosis for benign diseases. Patients treated with biliary-enteric anastomosis should be closely monitored for late development of cholangiocarcinoma. Some procedures such as choledochoduodenostomy and jejunum interposition choledochoduodenostomy should be abandoned because of their poor outcomes and severe complications. Proper indications of biliary-enteric anastomosis should strictly be followed and the Oddi's sphincter should be protected if possible to prevent late development of bile duct cancer.

To investigate the effects of short-chain fatty acids(SCFAs)on oxidative stress and inflammation in cultured glomerular mesangial cells(GMCs)under high glucose.SV-40 MES 13 mouse GMCs were exposed to 30 mmol/L glucose, exogenous SCFAs or their specific G-protein coupled receptor 43(GPR43)agonist were used individually as an intervention.GPR43 expression was suppressed by transfection with GPR43-specifc siRNA.The oxidative stress-related factors reactive oxygen species and malondialdehyde were detected and the expression of GPR43,monocyte chemotactic protein 1(MCP-1),and interleukin-1β(IL-1β)were observed.GPR43 expression were significantly down-regulated,but reactive oxygen species and malondialdehyde production and MCP-1 and IL-1β releases were induced by high glucose(all P<0.05),treatment with SCFAs or GPR43 agonist reversed high glucose-induced oxidative stress and inflammation in a dose-dependent manner(all P<0.05).However, these SCFAs-mediated effects were blunted by siRNA-mediated knockdown GPR43(all P<0.05).SCFAs mitigates high glucose-induced oxidative stress and inflammatory injury in part via GPR43 signaling pathway,suggesting a likely mechanism for SCFAs-induced therapeutic effect in diabetic kidney disease.
