1.Analysis of Risk Factors and Establishment of Prediction Model for Turbidity Toxicity Accumulation Syndrome in Patients with Chronic Atrophic Gastritis

ObjectiveThis paper aims to explore the risk factors for chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) with turbidity toxin accumulation syndrome and establish a prediction model. MethodsClinical data of 180 patients with CAG who participated in the "clinical study of Xianglian Huazhuo Particles blocking CAG cancer transformation" of Hebei Sheng Zhong Yi Yuan from July 2021 to March 2022 were collected. After confounding factors were controlled by propensity score matching, patients were divided into a training set (namely dev) and a validation set (namely vad) in a seven to three ratio. The risk factors for CAG with turbidity toxin accumulation syndrome in the training set were investigated by using univariate Logistic regression analysis and least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (namely Lasso) regression algorithms. Subsequently, a model, named model 1se, was developed by using the training set data to predict the risk factors for CAG with turbidity toxin accumulation syndrome. The accuracy of the prediction model was assessed by using various methods, including the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve, Hosmer-Lemeshow test (H-L), calibration plot, and decision curve analysis (DCA). ResultsAge, body mass index (BMI), family history of cancer, job and life satisfaction, yellow and greasy fur with slippery pulse, and heavy body sensation were independent risk factors of the model. The prediction model showed excellent predictive value for both the training and validation sets. ConclusionThe established prediction model for CAG with turbidity toxin accumulation syndrome has high discrimination and excellent calibration, which could provide an excellent clinical basis for disease diagnosis and individualized treatment of patients.

3.Effects of aerobic exercise on cognitive function in elderly patients with bipolar disorder

BackgroundBipolar disorder is a severe mental disorder characterized by alternating episodes of mania and depression. It has a high recurrence rate and a high rate of disability. Elderly patients often suffer from more severe cognitive impairment due to neurodegenerative changes. The clinical intervention for bipolar disorder mainly relies on drug treatment, but drugs have limited effects on improving cognitive function, and some drugs may even aggravate cognitive impairment. Aerobic exercise, as a non-drug intervention method, has shown positive effects in improving cognitive function in patients with mental disorders. However, there are still insufficient studies on elderly patients with bipolar disorder. ObjectiveTo explore the impact of aerobic exercise on the cognitive function of elderly patients with bipolar disorder, so as to provide references for the formulation of strategies to improve the cognitive function of this population. MethodsA randomized controlled trial was conducted. A total of 60 elderly patients who were hospitalized at the Third People's Hospital of Lanzhou from January 2024 to March 2025 and met the diagnostic criteria for bipolar disorder as defined in the International Classification of Diseases,tenth edition (ICD-10) were selected. They were divided into the study group and the control group, with 30 cases in each group, based on the random number table method. Both groups were given quetiapine fumarate tablets and magnesium valproate sustained-release tablets. The study group additionally received aerobic exercise (including slow walking, doing exercises, and running), three times a week, for 30 minutes each time. At the baseline and at the end of the 3rd, 6th, 9th, and 12th week of the intervention, the Hamilton Depression Scale -24 item (HAMD-24), the Young Manic Rating Scale (YMRS), the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), and Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale Revised in China (WMS-RC) were used for assessment. ResultsThe time effect of the HAMD-24 score was statistically significant (Wald χ2=124.564, P<0.01). The time effect of the YMRS score was also statistically significant (Wald χ2=145.608, P<0.01), and the interaction effect between time and group was statistically significant (Wald χ2=14.968, P<0.05). At the 3rd, 9th, and 12th week of the intervention, the YMRS score of the study group was lower than that of the control group in the same period, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The time effect and group effect of the MoCA score were both statistically significant (F=99.347, 16.623, P<0.01). The time effect, group effect, and interaction effect between time and group of the WMS-RC memory quotient were all statistically significant (F=64.678, 10.197, 12.472, P<0.01). At the 6th, 9th, and 12th weeks of the intervention, the MoCA score and WMS-RC memory quotient of the study group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). ConclusionAerobic exercise may help improve the manic symptoms and cognitive functions (especially memory ability) of elderly patients with bipolar disorder. 4.Characteristics of implicit memory and related factors in patients with schizophrenia with negative and positive symptoms

Objective:To investigate the characteristics of implicit memory and its related factors in schizophrenic patients with negative and positive symptoms.Methods:Ninety-three schizophrenic patients (including 52 cases of negative symptoms group and 41 cases of positive symptoms group) and 30 normal controls (normal group) were tested with the method of Chinese character word completion method. The reaction time and correct rate were recorded and compared with analysis of variance and t-test, and the correlation with demographic factors was analyzed with Pearson correlation analysis. Results:Accuracy of implicit memory test in schizophrenia group: there were statistically significant differences in the accuracy of patients with different course of disease (≤5 years: (38±5)%, 5-15 years: (34±8)%, ≥15 years: (34±7)%, P<0.05).The differences were statistically significant in the accuracy of patients with different education levels(primary school: (35±6)%, junior and senior high school: (34±7)%, secondary college education and above: (39±5)%, P<0.05).The accuracy of patients with education years < 10 years ((34±7)%) was significantly lower than those with education years ≥10 years ((37±6)%, P<0.05).Reaction time results of implicit memory test in schizophrenia group : there were significant differences in reaction time of patients with different disease course(≤5 years: (3 248±971)ms, 5-15 years: (3 515±672)ms, ≥15 years: (3 925±842)ms, P<0.05).The differences were statistically significant in the reaction time of workers ((3 495±712)ms), farmers ((3 870±878)ms) and soldiers ((3 024±924)ms, P<0.05).The reaction time of patients with clozapine ((3 869±871)ms) was significantly higher than that of patients with olanzapine ((3 393±626)ms, P<0.05).Intergroup results of accuracy: the accuracy of normal control group ((40±5)%) was significantly higher than that of negative symptom group ((33±7)%, P<0.01).The accuracy of negative symptom group was significantly lower than that of positive symptom group ((37±6)%, P<0.01).Intergroup reaction time results: the reaction time of normal control group ((2 660±667)ms) was significantly lower than that of negative symptom group ((3 678±951)ms, P<0.01) and positive symptom group ((3 072±865)ms, P<0.05).The reaction time of negative symptom group ((3 678±951)ms)was significantly higher than that of positive symptom group( P<0.01).There was significant negative correlation between the accuracy of implicit memory and the course of disease in schizophrenia ( r=-0.22, P<0.05). Conclusion:The implicit memory of schizophrenic patients is related to the course of disease, taking drugs, and occupation.There may have differences in implicit memory between patients with negative and positive symptoms of schizophrenia.
5.Repairing Effect of Huazhuo Jiedu Yukui Formula on Mucosal Damage of Rats with Ulcerative Colitis

OBJECTIVE:To explore the repairing effect and mechanism of Huazhuo jiedu yukui formula on the mucosal dam-age of rats with ulcerative colitis (UC). METHODS:72 rats were randomly divided into blank group,model group,mesalamine group(positive control,0.3 g/kg),Huazhuo jiedu yukui formula low-dose,medium-dose,high-dose groups(5,10,20 g/kg),12 in each group. Except for blank group,other groups were induced UC model. After 4 d of modeling,rats in administration groups received related medicines,ig,blank group and model group received normal saline,ig,once a day,for 2 weeks. After administra-tion,disease activity index(DAI)and mucosal damage index(CMDI)of rats were observed;IL-8,TNF-α contents in serum and cyclooxygenase 2 (COX-2) expression in colon tissue were detected. RESULTS:Compared with blank group,DAI and CMDI scores in model group were increased;IL-8,TNF-α contents in serum were increased;COX-2 expression in colon tissue was en-hanced,with statistical significances (P<0.05). Compared with model group,DAI and CMDI scores in model group were de-creased;IL-8,TNF-α contents in serum were reduced;COX-2 expression in colon tissue was weakened,with statistical signifi-cances (P<0.05). Compared with mesalamine group, the above-mentioned indicators in Huazhuo jiedu yukui formula medi-um-dose,high-dose groups changed more obviously (P<0.05),and effects of Huazhuo jiedu yukui formula showed significant dose-effect relationship. CONCLUSIONS:Huazhuo jiedu yukui formula can improve disease activity status of UC rats and reduce colon mucosal damage,and the effects of medium-dose and high-dose Huazhuo jiedu yukui formula were better than mesalamine, which may be related to reducing inflammatory reaction and inhibiting COX-2 expression in colon tissue.
6.Comparison of autologous ilium spongy bone combined with human decalcified dentinal matrix in alveolar process cleft bone grafting

Objective: To study a new method of alveolar cleft bone grafting. Methods: Group A: 62 cases (74 sides) alveolar cleft patients were transplanted with self-ilium spongy bone. Group B: 26 cases (30 sides) alveolar process patients used autologous ilium combined with DDM. Anterior occlusal radiographs and panoramic oral radiogram were taken before and after the operation to observe if there was new bone formation in the bone grafting area. According to Bergland grade criterion, analyzed the X-ray results after 3 months of the operation. Results: Group A: 17cases(17 sides) in class 1 group(23%), 17 cases(20 sides) in class 2 group(27%), 13 cases(14 sides) in class 3 group (19%), 15 case(23 sides) in class 4 group(31%). The overall survival rate of ABGR was 68.9%, and the clinical success rate was 50 %;Group B:16 cases(16 sides) in class 1 group(53.3%), 7 cases(8 sides) in class 2 group(26.7%), 2 cases(4 sides) in class 3 group (13.3%), 1 case(2 sides) in class 4 group(6.7%). The overall survival rate of ABGR was 93.3%, and the clinical success rate was 80%. Conclusion: Ilium spongy bone combined with DDM is good for alveolar process cleft bone grafting. It is better to use decalcified dentinal matrix of human than autologous ilium spongy bone.
7.The characteristic analysis of Noordhoof's incomplete cheiloplasty

Objective:To repair unilateral incomplete cleft lip with Noordhoof's incomplete cheiloplasty. To analyze the properties of the technique and to emphasize the key points of the operation design and manipulation. Methods:52 cases of unilateral incomplete cleft lip were received Noordhoff treatment. The characterization of operative method, results and attention were analyzed. Results: 51 cases are totally healed successfully except 1 case is healed successfully by re-operation for losing balance onto the floor. Conclusion: With Noordhoof's surgical technique for unilateral incomplete cleft lip, parenchyma of the lip is utilized mostly, the nosewing outboard incision is avoided. The shape of vermilion is more satisfactory.
