Paraplegia caused by spinal cord injury is a serious neurological complication, for which surgery is currently the main treatment method. Due to different surgical approaches, patients are usually expected to maintain a passive prone position for a long time or switch between the supine and prone positions. Affected by multiple factors such as neurogenic sensory disorders, pathological changes in muscle tone and operative duration, the risk of intraoperative acquired pressure injury (IAPI) is significantly increased. Current clinical prevention strategies for IAPI in these patients predominantly focus on localized pressure relief during positioning, lacking systematic, standardized comprehensive prevention protocols or evidence-based guidelines. To address it, Department of Nursing, Orthopedics Branch, China International Exchange and Promotive Association for Medical and Health Care, Spinal Trauma Professional Committee, Orthopedics Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Nursing Group of Spine and Spinal Cord Professional Committee of Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine organized experts in relevant fields to formulate Guideline for the prevention of intraoperative acquired pressure injury in paraplegic patients with spinal cord injury ( version 2025), based on evidence-based medical evidence and latest research results and clinical practice at home and abroad. Eleven recommendations were put forward from the aspects of preoperative risk assessment, intraoperative prevention strategies, postoperative handover and monitoring, and supportive mechanisms for IAPI prevention, aiming to standardize the prevention measures and management strategies of IAPI in paraplegic patients with spinal cord injury and accelerate the recovery of patients and improve the therapeutic effect.

Objective:To explore the current status, research hotspots, and trends of age-friendly home environment modifications, and provide references for future research development in China. Methods:Literature related to age-friendly home modifications was retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection database, with the search covering publications up to January 27, 2024. VOSviewer 1.6.19 and CiteSpace 6.2.R6 were used to perform visualized analyses of keywords, authors, institutions, publication volume, journals, countries, and publication years. Results:A total of 287 articles were included. The number of publications in this field has shown an increasing trend. Gitlin, Laura N and Iwarsson Susanne were the most productive authors in this field; however, a stable core author group has not yet been established. The United States and the University of Florida/State University System of Florida were the most prolific country and institutions, respectively. The Journal of the American Geriatrics Society had the highest number of publications. Research mainly focused on populations such as older adults with dementia or disabilities, informal caregivers, and occupational therapists. Fall prevention and smart home technologies were also hot topics. Conclusions:Age-friendly home environment modification has become a research hotspot. However, relevant research in China remains at an early stage. Future work should focus on developing targeted and effective modification strategies and technologies tailored to the characteristics of different populations.

Objective:To evaluate the effect of surgery on 47 patients with moyamoya disease by retrospective analysis. Methods:A total of 47 patients with moyamoya disease were enrolled from August,2010 to According to the improved treatment in August,2013,all cases were divided into two groups:a pre-improved group and a post-improved group.According to different surgical methods, they were divided into two subgroups:an indirect revascularization subgroup and a combined revascularization subgroup. Results:The cerebral ischemia in 77.4% of patients was relieved after the surgery. There was significant difference in outcomes of patients between the pre-improved group and the post-improved group (P<0.05),while there was no significant difference between the pre-improved indirect revascularization subgroup and the pre-improved combined revascularization subgroup. There was also no significant difference between the post-improved indirect revascularization subgroup and the post-improved combined revascularization subgroups (P>0.05).Conclusion:Surgical treatment can improve the outcomes of patients with moyamoya disease, but there is no significant difference in surgical effects between indirect and combined revascularization.
6.Comparison of the Efficacy and Safety of Levonorgestrel Intrauterine System and Mifepristone in the Treatment of Perimenopausal Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding
China Pharmacy 2016;27(21):2901-2902,2903
OBJECTIVE:To compare the efficacy and safety of levonorgestrel intrauterine system and mifepristone in the treat-ment of perimenopausal dysfunctional uterine bleeding. METHODS:200 patients with perimenopausal dysfunctional uterine bleed-ing were randomly divided into observation group (100 cases) and control group (100 cases). Patients in the observation group placed levonorgestrel intrauterine system (containing levonorgestrel 52 mg),patients in control group received Mifepristone cap-sule 10 mg/d,oral,the treatment course for 2 groups were 3 months. Clinical efficacy, endometrial thickness, menstruation(PBAC score),hemoglobin level before and after treatment and incidence of adverse reaction in 2 groups were observed. RESULTS:After treatment, the total effective rate in observation group was significantly higher than control group, incidence of adverse reactions was significantly lower than control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01). Before treatment, there were no significant differences in the endometrial thickness,PBAC score and hemoglobin level between 2 groups;after treatment,endome-trial thickness and PBAC score were significantly lower than before, and observation group was lower than control group;hemoglo-bin level was significantly higher than before, and observation group was higher than control group, the differences were statistical-ly significant(P<0.01 or P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:The efficacy and safety of levonorgestrel intrauterine system are significant-ly superior to mifepristone in the treatment of perimenopausal dysfunctional uterine bleeding.

BACKGROUND:Studies have demonstrated that Fe-Cr-Mo soft magnetic aloy has desired magnetic properties and machining properties. Surface Cr6+ plating treatment can significantly enhance the corrosion resistance in oral environment, but its biosecurity needs further testing. OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the biocompatibility of Fe-Cr-Mo soft magnetic aloy with chromium plating. METHODS:Logarithmic growth phase L929 cel suspension was obtained and seeded in 96-wel plates at a cel concentration of 6×107/L. Pure titanium extract, Fe-Cr-Mo soft magnetic aloy original extract, Cr6+-plated Fe-Cr-Mo soft magnetic aloy and PVC extract were added respectively. After 5 days of culture, cel morphology and adherent circumstances were observed. The absorbance value was detected using cel counting kit-8 assay. The relative growth rate of cels in each group was calculated. The cytotoxicity grades of materials were evaluated. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:In the pure titanium extracts group, the cels with normal morphology showed good adherent growth and no cytotoxicity. In the Fe-Cr-Mo soft magnetic aloy original extract group, the cel morphology and growth status were both good, with occasionaly individual cel lysis. Scattered reddish brown particles were visible in the culture solution, showing no or very mild cytotoxicity. In Cr6+-plated Fe-Cr-Mo soft magnetic aloy extract group, the cels grew wel and showed no or very mild cytotoxicity. In PVC extract group, more than 70% of cels were vacuole-shaped and presented with pyknosis or dissolution, there was a large number of cel debris, and cel growth was inhibited in over 50% cels, showing moderate cytotoxicity or above. The cytotoxicity of Cr6+-plated Fe-Cr-Mo soft magnetic aloy extract was grade 0-1. These results demonstrate that Fe-Cr-Mo soft magnetic aloywith chromium plating has good biocompatibility.
