1.Progress of research on the correlation between adenoid hypertrophy and malocclusion in children

Adenoid hypertrophy is a common disease in children and the incidence has been on the rise in recent years.Adenoid hy-pertrophy in children can cause sinusitis,otitis media,obstructive sleep apnea syndrome,psychological and behavioral problems,etc.,affecting the normal growth and development of children.Adenoid hypertrophy is the main cause of mouth breathing due to narrowing of the upper airway,which can result in the formation of adenoid facies,affecting the normal development of the maxillofacial region and leading to the occurrence of malocclusion.This article reviews the relevant research progress of the mechanisms,types,and treatment of malocclusion caused by adenoid hypertrophy.
2.Exploring Mechanism of Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction in the Treatment of Epilepsy Based on Network Pharmacology and Experimental Verification

Objective To analyze the target,signal pathway and potential mechanism of Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction in the treatment of epilepsy based on network pharmacology,and to verify it by molecular docking technology and animal experiments.Methods The active ingredients and drug targets of Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction were screened by BATMAN and other databases.The targets of epilepsy-related diseases were obtained by GeneCards and other databases,and the intersection targets were taken.Constructing'drug-ingredient-target-disease'network and PPI network to screen the core targets.The core active ingredients were screened according to GO,KEGG functional enrichment analysis and'pathway-target-active ingredient'network.Molecular docking was used to verify the core targets and core active ingredients.In the animal experiment,the rat model of epilepsy was induced by lithium chloride-pilocarpine,and 40 Wistar rats were divided into normal control group,model control group,carbamazepine group and Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction group.The seizures were observed by behavior.Nissl staining was used to observe neuronal damage in hippocampus.Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of BAX,BCL-2 and Caspase-3 protein.Results A total of 1072 targets of Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction were screened,1046 disease targets of epilepsy were screened,and 220 intersection targets of Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction in the treatment of epilepsy were screened.The core targets AKT1,ALB,ACTB,INS and TNF of PPI network were obtained.KEGG pathway mainly involves TNF signaling pathway,IL-17 signaling pathway,cAMP signaling pathway,pathways of neurodegeneration-multiple diseases,serotonergic synapse and Dopaminergic synapse.The core active ingredients with the highest correlation in the'pathway-target-active component'network were Betulin,Ephedrine,Ergotamine and Thymol.Results of molecular docking indicated that the core target had satisfactory affinity with those active ingredients.Animal experiments showed that Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction could effectively reduce epileptic seizures in rats,improve hippocampal neuronal damage in rats,significantly reduce the percentage of neuronal apoptosis,significantly down-regulate the expression of pro-apoptotic proteins BAX and Caspase-3,and up-regulate the expression of anti-apoptotic protein BCL-2.Conclusion Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction has the characteristics of multi-component,multi-target and multi-pathway in the treatment of epilepsy.Inhibiting neuronal apoptosis and reducing hippocampal neuronal damage may be one of the important mechanisms for its treatment of epilepsy.

5.Effects of a loading dose of clopidogrel hydrogen sulfate on hemorheology and neurological function in patients with acute progressive cerebral infarction

Objective:To investigate the effects of a loading dose of clopidogrel hydrogen sulfate on hemorheology and neurological function in patients with acute progressive cerebral infarction.Methods:A total of 110 patients with acute progressive cerebral infarction who received treatment between January 2018 and January 2019 in the Affiliated Hospital of Shaoxing University, China were included in this study. They were randomly assigned to receive either conventional treatment (control group, n = 55) or treatment with a loading dose of clopidogrel hydrogen sulfate based on conventional treatment (study group, n = 55) for 2 weeks. Hemorheological parameters, National Institute Health of Stroke Scale (NIHSS) scores and adverse reactions were compared between the study and control groups. Results:After treatment, the levels of hemorheological parameters in both groups were obviously decreased. Plasma viscosity, high-shear whole blood viscosity, low-shear whole blood viscosity, fibrinogen level and hematocrit in the study group were (1.01± 0.37) mPa/s, (4.23 ± 0.35) mPa/s, (8.36 ± 1.64) mPa/s, (1.23 ± 0.28) g/L, (40.08 ± 5.04) %, respectively, which were significantly lower than those in the control group [(1.84 ± 0.52) mPa/s, (5.44 ± 0.39) mPa/s, (10.54 ± 1.79) mPa/s, (2.30 ± 0.37) g/L, (44.36 ± 5.12) %, t = 5.485, 8.594, 9.523, 7.789, 11.236, P = 0.019, 0.006, 0.004, 0.007, 0.001]. After treatment, NIHSS scores in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group [(3.11 ± 1.17) points vs. (6.43 ± 2.25) points, t = 10.416, P = 0.003). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between study and control groups [5.45% (3/55) vs. 9.09% (5/55), χ2 = 0.539, P = 0.463). Conclusion:The loading dose of clopidogrel hydrogen sulfate is highly effective in the treatment of acute progressive cerebral infarction and it can greatly improve hemorheological parameters and neurological function.
6.Effects of mental rehabilitation group management on survival skills of community patients with schizophrenia

Objective To explore the effectiveness of mental rehabilitation group management on the survival skills of community patients with schizophrenia.Methods Totally 106 community patients with mental disorder registered at a sub-district health service center in Hangzhou between January 2014 and August 2016 were equally divided into an intervention group and a control group according to the random number table. The patients in both groups received original drug treatment and regular rehabilitation training, while the patients in the intervention group, on this basis, received mental rehabilitation group management activities for 4 weeks. The effectiveness of this intervention was measured and compared with survival skills training scale (SST) and Social Disability Screening Schedule (SDSS) before and after the intervention.Results Four weeks later, the SST score of the patients in the intervention group increased from (33.11±1.88) to (70.03±2.15), and their SDSS score decreased from (16.68±0.38) to (8.92±0.32), showing that they had better rehabilitation effects than the patients in the control group (t=-12.952, -14.760;P<0.01).Conclusions The model of mental rehabilitation group management can effectively improve the survival skills and interpersonal skills of community patients with schizophrenia, thereby helping them to return to the society successfully.
7.Comparison of the Efficacy and Safety of Levonorgestrel Intrauterine System and Mifepristone in the Treatment of Perimenopausal Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding

OBJECTIVE:To compare the efficacy and safety of levonorgestrel intrauterine system and mifepristone in the treat-ment of perimenopausal dysfunctional uterine bleeding. METHODS:200 patients with perimenopausal dysfunctional uterine bleed-ing were randomly divided into observation group (100 cases) and control group (100 cases). Patients in the observation group placed levonorgestrel intrauterine system (containing levonorgestrel 52 mg),patients in control group received Mifepristone cap-sule 10 mg/d,oral,the treatment course for 2 groups were 3 months. Clinical efficacy,endometrial thickness,menstruation(PBAC score),hemoglobin level before and after treatment and incidence of adverse reaction in 2 groups were observed. RESULTS:After treatment,the total effective rate in observation group was significantly higher than control group,incidence of adverse reactions was significantly lower than control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01). Before treatment,there were no significant differences in the endometrial thickness,PBAC score and hemoglobin level between 2 groups;after treatment,endome-trial thickness and PBAC score were significantly lower than before,and observation group was lower than control group;hemoglo-bin level was significantly higher than before,and observation group was higher than control group,the differences were statistical-ly significant(P<0.01 or P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:The efficacy and safety of levonorgestrel intrauterine system are significant-ly superior to mifepristone in the treatment of perimenopausal dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
8.Clinical effect of biofeedback combined with psychological nursing on treatment of functional ;constipation

Objective To observe the comprehensive clinical effect of biofeedback combined with psychological nursing on the treatment of functional constipation ( FC) .Methods A total of 76 cases of FC were collected and randomly divided into control group ( 38 cases ) and observation group ( 38 cases ) by random number method .Patients in control group were treated with biofeedback treatment; and patients in the observation group were treated with biofeedback combined with individualized psychological nursing . Health state survey questionnaire ( SF-36 ) , self-rating anxiety scale ( SAS) and self-rating depression scale ( SDS ) were applied to evaluate two group′s quality of life and psychological status before and after intervention.Improvement of clinical situation of two groups was compared .Results After treatment, the symptom scores of two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment .Improvement of difficult defecation(0.84 ±0.50), endless defecate feeling (0.84 ±0.38) and anal or rectal obstruction (0.53 ± 0.51)of observation group was superior to that of the control group (t=2.458,2.598,2.167;P<0.05). After treatment , the scores of SF-36 of two groups were higher than those before intervention . Four dimensions of vitality(90.22 ±11.54), emotional function(89.57 ±13.51), mental health(86.28 ±9.47) and general health ( 89.09 ±9.81 ) of observation group were better than those of control group ( t =-2.184,-2.196,-3.831,-2.238;P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of SAS (43.41 ±6.96)and SDS (40.57 ±6.69)of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (t=2.195,2.356;P<0.05).Conclusions Biofeedback combined with psychological nursing not only can obviously improve the patients′clinical symptoms , but also improve the patients quality of life and abnormal mental state .
9.Biocompatibility of Fe-Cr-Mo soft magnetic alloy with chromium plating

BACKGROUND:Studies have demonstrated that Fe-Cr-Mo soft magnetic aloy has desired magnetic properties and machining properties. Surface Cr6+ plating treatment can significantly enhance the corrosion resistance in oral environment, but its biosecurity needs further testing. OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the biocompatibility of Fe-Cr-Mo soft magnetic aloy with chromium plating. METHODS:Logarithmic growth phase L929 cel suspension was obtained and seeded in 96-wel plates at a cel concentration of 6×107/L. Pure titanium extract, Fe-Cr-Mo soft magnetic aloy original extract, Cr6+-plated Fe-Cr-Mo soft magnetic aloy and PVC extract were added respectively. After 5 days of culture, cel morphology and adherent circumstances were observed. The absorbance value was detected using cel counting kit-8 assay. The relative growth rate of cels in each group was calculated. The cytotoxicity grades of materials were evaluated. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:In the pure titanium extracts group, the cels with normal morphology showed good adherent growth and no cytotoxicity. In the Fe-Cr-Mo soft magnetic aloy original extract group, the cel morphology and growth status were both good, with occasionaly individual cel lysis. Scattered reddish brown particles were visible in the culture solution, showing no or very mild cytotoxicity. In Cr6+-plated Fe-Cr-Mo soft magnetic aloy extract group, the cels grew wel and showed no or very mild cytotoxicity. In PVC extract group, more than 70% of cels were vacuole-shaped and presented with pyknosis or dissolution, there was a large number of cel debris, and cel growth was inhibited in over 50% cels, showing moderate cytotoxicity or above. The cytotoxicity of Cr6+-plated Fe-Cr-Mo soft magnetic aloy extract was grade 0-1. These results demonstrate that Fe-Cr-Mo soft magnetic aloywith chromium plating has good biocompatibility.
10.Verification of a molecular pathology detection method of sentinel lymph node in breast cancer patients:a comparison between RT-LAMP and GeneSearch

Objective To verify the reliability of our previously established reverse-transcription loop-mediated isother-mal amplification ( RT-LAMP) method for the detection of sentinel lymph nodes metastasis in breast cancer patients .Meth-ods Sentinel lymph nodes of breast cancer patients were analyzed by RT-LAMP and FDA-approved GeneSearch methods respectively, and the consistency of the two methods was assessed with a kappa concordance test.Results One hundred and thirty-four cases of sentinel lymph node samples were collected from seven hospitals in Beijing .Using the GeneSearch assay as the gold standard, the sensitivity, specificity and consistentcy of RT-LAMP were 96.2%(25/26),96.3%(104/108) and 96.3%(129/134), respectively.Statistical analysis showed that the two methods were consistent (Kappa=0.8857, P<0.001).Conclusion RT-LAMP is highly consistent with GeneSearch ,efficient,simple and inexpensive, promising a good prospect of application to intra-operative detection of sentinel lymph nodes metastasis for breast cancer patients.
