1.Digital design and manufacturing method of double constrained split guide for orthodontic miniscrew implantation.

This study explored a novel digital design and fabrication method for a double constrained split orthodontic miniscrew guide to improve the accuracy and safety of clinical miniscrew implantation and reduce related complications. A patient requiring miniscrew implantation was selected, and data were acquired using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) and intraoral optical scanning. For the construction of a double constrained split guide including a screw-hole guide and an insertion rod guide, different types of software such as Mimics 24.0, Geomagic wrap 2021, and Materialise magics 21.0 were utilized for 3D reconstruction, model integration, and guide design. The guide was then fabricated via laser metal 3D printing. Model and intraoral try-in results demonstrated that the guide fitted well and was stable. Postoperative CBCT verified that the final miniscrew implantation site was consistent with the preoperative design, and no related complications occurred. This double constrained split orthodontic miniscrew guide provides a precise and safe digital solution for clinical miniscrew implantation.

2.Safety and efficacy of intra-arterial tirofiban infusion in patients with acute cardiogenic cerebral embolism undergoing endovascular reperfusion therapy

Objective:To evaluate the safety and efficacy of intra-arterial tirofiban infusion during endovascular reperfusion therapy in patients with acute cardiogenic cerebral embolism.Methods:Clinical data of 72 patients with acute cardiogenic cerebral embolism caused by large artery occlusion were retrospectively analyzed in Department of Neurology, Strategic Support Force Medical Center from August 2015 to August 2020.Among those, 52 patients were treated with intra-arterial tirofiban, the other 20 patients were treated with control medication. The baseline characteristics, modified thrombolysis in cerebral infarction (mTICI) score of responsible vessels, modified Rankin scale (mRS) score 90 days after operation, incidence of symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage and mortality were evaluated and compared in two groups.Results:The proportion of effective recanalization of the offending vessels (mTICI≥2b) in tirofiban group was higher than that in control group (92.3% vs. 75.0%), but the difference was not statistically significant ( P=0.104). At 90 days after operation, the rate of patients with good prognosis (mRS≤2) in tirofiban group (61.5%) was significantly higher than that in control group (35.0%) ( P<0.05). The incidence of symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage and mortality were comparable between the two groups ( P>0.05). Conclusion:Intra-arterial tirofiban infusion in patients with acute cardiogenic cerebral embolism is effective and feasible, which improves the prognosis without increasing the risk of intracranial bleeding complications.
3.Hygienic Survey of Drinking Water Plants in Shanxi Province

Objective To know the hygienic condition of different kinds of drinking water plants in Shanxi Province.Methods In 2007,422 water plants and 2 083 secondary water supply units were selected and the information and data that provided by all Sanitation Institute for Health Inspection and Supervision in Shanxi Province were analyzed.Results The hygienic conditions of city's municipal administration water supply systems were the best.Total qualified rate of water quality was 97.67%.The hygienic conditions of rural school's homemade water supply systems were the worst,the qualified rates of all items in the program were the lowest.Most of them had no any analyst and laboratory for water quality test.Only 10.2% of them had water disinfection facilities.Total qualified rate of water quality was 75.32%.In most of water plants,the lack of water quality test facilities and disinfection facilities was one important problem in drinking water safety.In addition,the lack of clean and disinfection in secondary water supply systems was another problem.Conclusion The hygienic conditions of drinking water plans are unsatisfactory and should be improved in Shanxi Province.
