Objective To investigate the protective effect and underlying mechanisms of HydroMg, a novel sustained-release hydrogen donor, in a model of doxorubicin (DOX)-induced chronic cardiotoxicity. Methods H9C2 cells were treated with 1 μmol/L DOX and/or 1 μg/mL HydroMg, and mitochondrial membrane potential, reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels, and apoptosis were measured. In the animal experiment, mice were divided into control, HydroMg, DOX, and DOX＋HydroMg groups. The HydroMg group received intraperitoneal injection of HydroMg (100 mg/kg). Chronic cardiotoxicity was established by intraperitoneal injection of DOX (5 mg/kg every week) for four consecutive weeks; In the DOX＋HydroMg group, HydroMg (100 mg/kg) was administered intraperitoneally 4–5 h prior to each DOX injection. Cardiac function and remodeling were evaluated by echocardiography and heart weight index (HWI). The long-term survival of mice were analyzed. Subsequently, transcriptome sequencing was performed on myocardial tissues from the DOX group to identify key molecular alterations compared with controls. Results At the cellular level, HydroMg treatment effectively reversed DOX-induced mitochondrial dysfunction and oxidative stress, as evidenced by restored membrane potential, reductions in total ROS and mitochondrial superoxide levels by approximately 30% and 9%, respectively, and a decrease in the apoptosis rate from 34.13% to 18.27%. In the animal model, compared with the DOX group, HydroMg intervention increased left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and fractional shortening (LVFS) by 9.62% and 5.82%, respectively, attenuated the reduction in HWI (4.41 mg/mm vs 3.53 mg/mm), and improved the 4-week survival rate (80% vs 60%). Transcriptomic analysis revealed that the core molecular features of DOX-induced cardiotoxicity, including widespread suppression of oxidative phosphorylation and antioxidant pathways. Conclusions HydroMg protects against DOX-induced chronic cardiotoxicity by alleviating oxidative stress and improving mitochondrial function, and provides a potential therapeutic strategy against DOX-related cardiotoxicity.

Objective To observe the clinical effect of arthroscopic surgery on patients with rotator cuff tear injury. Methods One hundred and twenty patients with rotator cuff tears admitted to the Department of Orthopaedic of the First Hospital of Changsha from January 2013 to September 2015 were enrolled. Sixty patients treated with traditional conservative methods were assigned in a control group, the whole arthroscope or shoulder arthroscope was used to assist performing microsurgical incisions for another such 60 patients in the observation group. Visual analogue scale (VAS) of pain was applied to evaluate the pain of the patients with rotator cuff injury before and after treatment in both groups. The function of the shoulder joints and recovery situation were evaluated by using the shoulder functional system score and the American shoulder and elbow surgeon score (ASES). Results The results showed that all patients had no postoperative complications such as secondary fracture of the rotator cuff tear, infection, incision non-healing, etc. Compared with those before treatment, in both groups, the VAS scores were obviously lowered after treatment, while ASES and shoulder function system scores after treatment were significantly higher than those before treatment, and the changes in the observation group were more pronounced than those in the control group (VAS: 0.82±0.11 vs. 2.20±0.59, ASES: 82.21±10.81 vs. 70.53±6.21, pain score: 9.81±0.21 vs. 9.11±0.51, function score: 9.70±0.09 vs. 8.80±0.40, anterior flexion score: 4.59±0.41 vs. 4.20±0.61, all P ＜ 0.05). Conclusion The clinical effect of arthroscopic surgical treatment of patients with rotator cuff tear injury is relatively satisfactory and worthy to be deeply studied clinically.

Objective To provide guide for prevention and cure of peritonitis in peritoneal dialysis(PD) by comparing the causative organisms and clinical outcome of PD related peritonitis in younger and elderly patients in our center.Methods All patients who developed PD related peritonitis between January 2006 and December 2013 in Wuhan NO.1 hospital were included.According to their age,episodes were divided into younger patients group (＜ 65 years) and elderly patients group (≥65 years).The microbiology and clinical outcome of PD related peritonitis were compared,and the related risk factors of the treatment failure were analyzed.Results Three hundred and sixty-six episodes of peritonitis occurred in 258 patients during the study period.The overall rate of peritonitis was 1 episode in 76.8 patient-months.Elderly patients had higher incidence of peritonitis (1 episode every 56.4 months vs 1 episode every 88.7 months,P=0.001),higher incidence of fungus infection (9.6％ vs 3.9％,P=0.026) and higher mortality (46.2％ vs 14.0％,P=0.001) than that in younger patients.Cox regression analysis showed that longer duration of PD treatment and fungal peritonitis were both risk factors of the treatment failure.Conclusion Elderly patients had higher incidence of peritonitis,higher incidence of fungus infection and higher PD-related mortality than younger patients.

Objective To survey small dense low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(sdLDL-C)distribution among different popula-tions,and analyze its relationship with lipid component.Methods 986 cases of people who underwent medical examination in the hospital were recruited in the study.There were 654 people with normal concentrations of serum blood lipids(normal blood lipids group),according to sex and age they were divided into groups.The people whose serum lipids concentrations increased above the normal range were divided into TG increasing group,LDL-C increasing group and joint increasing group according to the type of lip-ids componet increased.Serum sdLDL-C,LDL-C,TG,TC,HDL-C,ApoAⅠ and ApoB were determind in the people mentioned a-bove,and the correlation between sdLDL-C and TG,TC,HDL-C,ApoAⅠ,ApoB concentrations were analyzed.Results SdLDL-C began to decline after the age of 70,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05 );the ensemble average of the males was higher than that of females,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).The serum sdLDL-C cocentrations of all the serum lipis increasing groups were significantly higher than those of normal blood lipids group,the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05 ).SdLDL-C concentrations were positively correlated with TC,TG,ApoB(r =0.254,0.589,0.302),and was negative correlated with HDL-C and ApoA Ⅰ (r = - 0.421,- 0.275,- 0.311 ).Conclusion There was a positive correlation between sdLDL-C and TC,TG,ApoB,and sdLDL-C was negatively correlated with HDL-C,ApoAⅠ,which can accurately reflect the overall status of lipid metabolism.

Objective To assess the reliability and validity of the effect evaluation index system for health education of coronary heart disease.Methods A total of 306 patients with coronary heart disease in four third-grade and A-level hospitals extacted by convenient sampling method were surveyed.Project analysis,exploratory factor analysis,correlation analysis and so on were applied to analyze and select items.Then the Cronbach's alpha coefficient,test-retest reliability,and content validity of the scale were tested.Then the original system was modified and the eventual system was formed.Results The scale was consisted of 8 first-dimensions and 35 indexes.The Cronbach's α of the total system was 0.832,and the α of subscales were from 0.629 to 0.882.The test-retest reliability of the total system was 0.966,and the testretest reliability of subscales were from 0.848 to 0.942.The S-CVI/Ave of system was 0.99,and the S-CVI/UA of indexes was 0.91.The Pearson correlation coefficient of the indexes with their dimensions were from 0.574 to 0.916,which were higher than the coefficient of the indexes with other dimensions.Factor analysis supported the eight-factor structure of the system,which could explain 65.61％ of the total variance and the factor loading of each index were from 0.430 to 0.938.Conclusions The system is reliable and valid,and can provide a unified reference standard for effect evaluation of health education of coronary heart disease.

Objective To establish a scientific,standard and comprehensive effect evaluation index system for health education of coronary heart disease.Methods Based on KABP (knowledge,attitude,belief,practice,KABP) model of health education,the effect evaluation index system for health education of coronary heart disease was formulated by documentary analysis,qualitative research,questionnaire survey,Delphi method,and analytic hierarchy process.Results The authoritative coefficient,determination coefficient and familiarity coefficient was 0.89,0.91,0.86,respectively.The coordination coefficients of the first-dimension and the second-dimension were 0.295 and 0.302,respectively.The index system consisted of 6 first-dimensions,45 second-dimensions.The weight coefficient of health knowledge,health belief,health behavior,physical signs,quality of life,and satisfaction degree of health education was 0.153 8,0.153 8,0.366 1,0.086 3,0.153 8,0.086 3,respectively.Conclusions The effect evaluation index system for health education of coronary heart disease is reliable and valid,which can provide a quantitative basis for effect evaluation of health education.

Objective To determinate the content of Danshensu in Xingkenin g Capsules by HPLC.Methods HPLC with Hypersil ODS2 column was used, MeOH- 1 % acetic acid( 12:88) as a mobile phase and detection wavelength at 280nm.Re sults The linear range of Danshensu was in the range of 0.256～ 1.278 ? g. Th e average recovery of Danshensu was 102.73 % with a RSD of 1.34 % .Conclusio n The method is simple with a good reproducibility and can be used for the qu ality control of Xingkening Capsules.

Objective To evaluate the prevention of glucocorticoid -induced avascular necrosis of the femoral head(ANFH)with Tongluo Shenggu Capsule(TSC).Methods One hundred and twenty adult SD rats were randomized into six groups:normal control group,model group,clofibratum group and three -dose TSC groups(high -,moderate -and low -dose respectively).ANFH rat models were established by injection of glucocorticoid once per week and the med-ication groups were given drugs by ga stric infusion one time a day.The rats were killed in the fourth,eighth and twelfth week respectively.Then the macrosc opic and microscopic feature of the f emoral head were observed,and ink -p erfused specimens of the femoral head were detected and analyzed by auto -photograph software of Metamoph to evaluate the pre-ventive effect of TSC.Results In TSC groups,bone trabecula grew we ll,similar to the normal group;lacu nar bone per-centage was lower than that in the mod el group;fatty degeneration in marrow cavity of the femoral head was redu ced,andthe number of subcartilaginous bloo d vessels and their diameter were increased as compared with those in the model group(P
