Objective To investigate the changes and clinical significance of pyroptosis and inflammation in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia after chemotherapy.Methods A retrospective analysis was con-ducted on the clinical data of 98 children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia who received chemotherapy in the pediatrics and hematology and oncology departments of the hospital from May 2023 to August 2024.Accord-ing to the results of blood culture,the selected children were divided into the Gram-positive bacteria group,the Gram-negative bacteria group,the fungal group and the non-bloodstream infection group,and drug sensitivity tests were conducted.After chemotherapy,the children were divided into the granulocytosis group and the non-granulocytosis group according to the granulocyte level.The relevant indicators were detected and com-pared by methods such as blood routine,flow microsphere array technology,enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),and Western blot.Results After chemotherapy,the pyroptosis related indicators caspase-1,caspase-4,caspase-5,caspase-11,interleukin(IL)-1 β,IL-18,the proportion of pyroptosis cells and the relative expression level of GSDMD protein in children of each infection type were significantly increased compared with those before chemotherapy(P＜0.05).After chemotherapy,the levels of IL-4,IL-6,IL-10 and interfer-on-γ(IFN-γ)in the granulocytosis group were significantly higher than those in the non-granulocytosis group(P＜0.05),and the granulocyte level was negatively correlated with the levels of IL-4,IL-6,IL-10 and IFN-γ(P＜0.05).There were statistically significant differences in the levels of IL-4,IL-6,IL-10 and IFN-γ in dif-ferent infection states after chemotherapy(P＜0.05).Conclusion The number of granulocytes and the levels of serum cytokines can serve as potential indicators of infection in children with leukemia.The regulation of pyroptosis may provide new strategies for the treatment of childhood leukemia.

Objective: To investigate the role of STAT3 phosphorylation in ferroptosis regulation and its impact on cisplatin resistance mechanisms in human osteosarcoma cells． Methods: Human osteosarcoma HOS cells and cispl- atin-resistant HOS / DDP cells were treated with cisplatin ( 0. 5，1，2，4，8，16，32 mg / L) ，the ferroptosis inducer Erastin ( Era) ( 2 μmol / L) ，and / or the ferroptosis inhibitor Ferrostatin-1 ( Fer1) ( 10 μmol / L) ．Cell viability and proliferation were assessed using the Cell Counting Kit-8 ( CCK-8) and colony formation assays，and cell migration was evaluated via a scratch assay．Reactive oxygen species ( ROS) ，intracellular ferrous iron levels，mitochondrial membrane potential，mitochondrial function，malondialdehyde ( MDA) levels，and the reduced glutathione / oxi- dized glutathione ( GSH / GSSG) ratio were measured using commercial kits．The mRNA expression of ferroptosis- related genes was analyzed by quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction ( RT-qPCR) ．The protein levels of glutathione peroxidase 4 ( GPX4) ，solute carrier family 7 member 11 ( SLC7A11) ，phosphorylated STAT3 ( p-STAT3) ，and total STAT3 were determined by Western blot． Results: With cisplatin treatment，HOS cells ex- hibited decreased cell viability，mitochondrial membrane potential，and GSH / GSSG ratio ( P＜0. 01) ，along with elevated levels of ROS，ferrous ion，and MDA content ( P ＜0. 01) ． The protein levels of GPX4 ( P ＜0. 01) ， SLC7A11，and p-STAT3 also decreased ( P ＜0. 05) ．Coadministration with the ferroptosis inhibitor Ferrostatin-1 ( Fer-1) reversed these aforementioned effects ( P ＜0. 05) ．In HOS / DDP cells，the mRNA levels of ferroptosis- suppressive genes ( GPX4，FTH1，SLC7A11，and AIFM2) were significantly higher than those in HOS cells ( P < 0. 05) ，whereas the expression of ferroptosis-promoting genes ( ACSL4 and PTGS2) was significantly lower ( P < 0. 05) ．The cisplatin-induced reductions in cell viability and mitochondrial membrane potential，as well as the in- creases in ROS，ferrous ion，and MDA levels，were less pronounced in HOS / DDP cells than in HOS cells．The SLC7A11 protein level showed no significant change． However，combined treatment with the ferroptosis inducer Erastin ( Era) resulted in significant decreases in viability，mitochondrial membrane potential，and the GSH / GSSG ratio in HOS / DDP cells ( P＜0. 05) ．Furthermore，the protein levels of p-STAT3，GPX4，and SLC7A11 were also markedly reduced ( P＜0. 05) ． Conclusion The activation of ferroptosis mediated by p-STAT3 enhances cisplatin sensitivity in HOS / DDP cells．

Objective:To visualize and analyze the literature related to nurses′ psychological contract at home and abroad by CiteSpace software, discuss the development trend, and to provide reference for subsequent research.Methods:Literature related to nurses′ psychological contract collected by China National Knowledge Infrastructure and Web of Science from the establishment of the database to August 31, 2023 were retrieved. CiteSpace software was used to visually process the authors, institutions, keywords, publication trends and other types of nodes. Combined with the visualization map, the research status and hot trends of nurses′ psychological contract were analyzed.Results:A total of 175 articles in English and 126 articles in Chinese were included. The annual publication volume showed a zigzag upward trend. Chen Furong′s team published the most Chinese literature, while Rodwell J′s team published the most English literature. Shanxi Medical University and Monash University were the research institutions with the largest number of publications in Chinese and English respectively. Domestic research hotspots mainly focused on 5 directions: the status quo investigation, influence factors, intervention strategies, the impact on performance behavior, the content and structure of nurses′ psychological contract. Foreign research hotspots mainly focused on 3 directions: the influence factors, intervention strategies and the impact on performance behavior.Conclusions:The overall number of papers published in the field of nurses′psychological contract research at home and abroad is small, and the depth and breadth of the research are far from enough. The cooperation between authors and institutions should be strengthened, the research direction should be more diversified, and the mediation effect analysis and influence mechanism research of psychological contract should be paid attention to, so as to construct a multipath nurses′psychological contract system complied with national condition.

The incidence and detection rates of benign and low-grade malignant pancreatic tumors have risen yearly.For patients with such tumors,traditional radical resection procedures often result in excessive loss of normal pancreatic parenchyma,leading to complications such as postoperative insufficiency of both exocrine and endocrine functions.Studies have shown that functional-preserving surgeries,such as minimally invasive enucleation or partial resection surgeries,can maximize the protection of patients'pancreatic function and improve long-term quality of life.However,for some tumors deep within the pancreatic parenchyma,accurately locating the tumor and protecting the pancreatic duct pose challenges.Intraoperative ultrasound(IOUS)has become an ideal intraoperative imaging tool,often referred to as the surgeon's"third eye"because of its portability,ability to provide real-time high-resolution information,non-reliance on ionizing radiation,and the fact that it does not require special patient preparation.With advancements in technology,the application scope of IOUS has expanded beyond its initially limited diagnostic role to various surgical applications,including identifying non-palpable lesions,guiding surgical strategies,and staging tumors.In the current era of minimally invasive and precision surgery,the proficiency of surgeons in using IOUS has become an important issue.This article reviews the history of IOUS applications,summarizes the advantages and basic usage methods of robotic IOUS,and shares techniques for applying IOUS in robot-assisted precise resection of pancreatic tumors.

Objective To investigate the effects of long-term exposure to three new types of light emitting diode (LED) sources on the behavior, learning, and memory of rats. Methods A total of 160 specific pathogen-free SD rats were divided into eight groups as followed, trichromatic fluorescent lamps color temperature control group, violet-chip full-spectrum white LED group, blue-chip white LED group, and blue-chip full-spectrum white LED group based on the light sources types, with color temperature of 4 000 K and 6 500 K groups in each group using the 4×2 factorial design. There were 20 rats in each group, with half of the rats were males and half females. Rats were exposed to artificial lighting, and the illumination was set at 750 lx. The rats in each group were exposed to different lighting environments for 12 hours per day for 24 weeks. The open-field and step-down tests were conducted in rats after 24 weeks exposure, followed by sacrifice of rats and measurement of organ coefficients. Differences in body weight, organ coefficients, and neurobehavioral indexes of rats in different groups were compared. Results The spleen coefficient of female rats decreased in blue-chip white LED of 6 500 K color temperature group, and the liver coefficient of male rats decreased in the violet-chip full-spectrum white LED of 4 000 K color temperature, blue-chip full-spectrum white LED of 4 000 K color temperature, and blue-chip full-spectrum white LED of 6 500 K color temperature groups, compared with the same-sex rats in trichromatic fluorescent lamps with same-color temperature control group (all P<0.05). The result of different types of light sources compared in the open-field test showed that the index of total distance and movement speed of female rats in the blue-chip full-spectrum white LED group were lower than those in the other three groups, and the time cost to the central area was longer than that in the blue-chip white LED group and the violet-chip full-spectrum white LED group (all P<0.05). The total distance and movement speed of male rats in the blue-chip full-spectrum white LED group were longer or higher than those in the violet-chip full-spectrum white LED group (all P<0.05). Based on the comparison of color temperature, the time and total distance of male rats in 6 500 K color temperature group were lower than that in the 4 000 K color temperature group (both P<0.05). In the step-down test, both male and female rats in the blue-chip full-spectrum white LED group made more errors compared with other three groups with the same gender (all P<0.05). Conclusion Based on the experimental conditions of this study, the blue-chip full-spectrum white light LED affects behavior, learning and memory of the rats, and trichromatic fluorescent lamp has the lowest effect on neurobehavior. The color temperature also affects behavior of the rats, and high color temperature has higher risk.

Objective:To analyze the clinical characteristics of pneumonia caused by Chlamydia psittaci (C. psitttaci). Methods:A retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical data of 13 consecutive patients with C. psitttaci pneumonia admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University from November 2018 to February 2021. Results:All 13 cases had symptoms of fatigue and 6 cases had headache. At consultation, the ΔSequential Organ Failure Assessment (SOFA) scores of all patients were ≥2 points. According to the Pneumonia Severity Index (PSI) score, 2 patients were grade Ⅱ and the other 11 patients were grade Ⅳ or Ⅴ. Laboratory tests showed that C-reactive protein (CRP) and procalcitonin (PCT) levels were elevated in all patients; CRP≥100 mg/L was found in 11 cases and PCT≥0.5 ng/ml was found in 9 cases.There were 12 cases with respiratory failure and 12 cases with elevated transaminase. Chest CT scans showed multiple patchy exudative shadow, focal consolidation and air bronchial sign; and the lesions were mainly in the lower lungs (8 cases). C. psitttaci infections were confirmed by metagenomics next-generation sequencing (mNGS) and the patients′ conditions improved rapidly after timely adjustment of doxycycline based drug treatment and active organ support. The lesions were completely absorbed without residual fibrous cord changes and the prognosis was good. Conclusions:Pneumonia caused by C. psitttaci usually presents sepsis, and the disease progresses rapidly. The mNGS is of value for the early diagnosis of C. psitttaci pneumonia. Timely adjustment of antibiotics treatment after etiological diagnosis can lead to a good prognosis.

Objective:To investigate the safety and feasibility of minimally invasive pancreatic tumor enucleation.Methods:The clinicopathological data of 60 patients with minimally invasive pancreatic tumor enucleation admitted to the Department of Pancreatic Surgery of Fudan University Cancer Center from November 2019 to August 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. There were 17 males and 43 females,with age of (50.0±13.2)years(range: 23 to 73 years). Tumors were located in the head of pancreas in 40 cases(66.7%),neck and tail of pancreas in 20 cases(33.3%). Patients were divided into robotic group( n=25) and laparoscopic group( n=35) according to surgical methods. The measurement data were compared by t-test or Mann-Whitney U test, and the categorical data were compared by χ 2 test or Fisher exact probability method. The influencing factors of postoperative pancreatic fistula were analyzed by univariate and multivariate Logistic regression. Results:All patients successfully completed tumor enucleation without conversion to laparotomy. The operation time was (183.5±67.3)minutes(range:90 to 410 minutes). Twelve patients(20.0%) underwent stent placement and pancreatic duct repair during operation. The removal time of abdominal drainage tube after operation was (24.7±22.9)days(range:2 to 113 days). The tumor diameter in the robotic group was larger than that in the laparoscopic group((3.5±0.9)cm vs. (2.9±0.7)cm, t=-2.825, P=0.006). The incidences of postoperative biochemical fistula and grade B pancreatic fistula were 20.0%,22.9% and 36.0%,51.4%,respectively(χ2=2.289, P=0.318). There were no grade C pancreatic fistula,lymphatic fistula,biliary fistula,delayed gastric emptying,secondary operation and perioperative death in both groups. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed on the occurrence of clinically related pancreatic fistula(above grade B). The results showed that the increase of body mass index( OR=1.285,95% CI:1.053 to 1.569, P=0.014),the larger diameter of the tumor( OR=3.703,95% CI:1.465 to 9.360, P=0.006) and intraoperative pancreatic duct repair( OR=7.889,95% CI:1.471 to 42.296, P=0.016) were independent risk factors,whereas robotic surgery( OR=0.168,95% CI:0.036 to 0.796, P=0.025) was a protective factor. No case of pancreatin dependent dyspepsia and new onset diabetes mellitus was observed. Conclusions:Minimally invasive tumor enucleation is feasible in the treatment of benign and low-grade pancreatic tumors. The incidence of pancreatic fistula is high in the short term after operation,but serious complications are rare. The robot assisted system can reduce the risk of postoperative pancreatic fistula and has more advantages in dealing with larger diameter tumors because of clearer surgical vision and more accurate operation.

Objective:To evaluate the intrauterine transmission of syphilis in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province from 2012 to 2019, after the introduction of a nationwide policy for preventing intrauterine transmission of syphilis in China in 2011.Methods:This study enrolled all live birth deliveries ( n=455 561) in Nantong from January 2012 to December 2019. The screening, infection rates, anti-syphilis treatment, intrauterine transmission of syphilis, and outcomes of infants with congenital syphilis were retrospectively analyzed using χ 2 test for trend, adjusted χ 2 test, or Fisher's exact test. Results:Except for three women, the remaining 455 558 subjects were all screened for syphilis antibody with a total screening rate of nearly 100%, among which prenatal screening accounted for 96.4% (439 125/455 561) and intrapartum screening for 3.6% (16 433/455 561). In total, 796 (0.17%) women were diagnosed with syphilis during pregnancy, and the prevalence increased from 0.13% (85/64 229) in 2012 to 0.24% (110/45 517) in 2019 (χ 2trend=48.985, P<0.001). The prevalence among women underwent intrapartum screening was significantly higher than those underwent prenatal screening [0.50% (82/16 433) vs 0.16% (714/439 125), χ 2=102.769, P<0.001]. Out of the women with syphilis, 716 (89.9%) received anti-syphilis therapy with 695 cases using penicillin, 16 cases using ceftriaxone and five using erythromycin/azithromycin, while the remaining 80 (10.1%) did not. Intrauterine transmission of syphilis occurred in 14 infants with a transmission rate of 1.8% (14/796). The reported rate of congenital syphilis in all live infants was 0.03‰ (14/460 552). The intrauterine transmission rate in women receiving treatment during pregnancy was significantly lower than that in the untreated women [0.4% (3/716) vs 13.8% (11/80), χ2=66.499, P<0.001]. For the untreated women, the intrauterine transmission rate increased with the rising titers of non-specific syphilis antibody ( χ2trend=5.338, P=0.021). Among infants with congenital syphilis, no obvious adverse outcomes occurred in three infants born to treated mothers, whereas the rates of preterm birth and neonatal death were 7/11 and 2/11 in those born to untreated mothers. Conclusions:Since the implementation of the policy against intrauterine transmission of syphilis, the reported rate of congenital syphilis is 3/100 000 live-birth in Nantong City, reaching the national target of below 15/100 000. Screening and treatment in the first trimester are critical for preventing intrauterine transmission of syphilis. Increased prenatal syphilis screening rate can help further reduction of the intrauterine transmission of syphilis.
