Objective To explore prenatal ultrasonic characteristics of fetal Currarino syndrome(CS)and methods for prenatal diagnosis of CS.Methods Two fetuses with CS confirmed by genetic examination were retrospectively analyzed, while 6 CS fetuses with complete prenatal ultrasonic data in literature were reviewed.Prenatal ultrasonic characteristics of CS fetuses and the method for prenatal diagnosis of CS were discussed. Results Among 8 CS fetuses diagnosed with prenatal ultrasound,4 were female singletons with a clear family history of CS,and MNX1 gene mutation was found in 1 fetus. The other 4 fetuses were 2 pairs of male monochorionic twins, all with MNX1 gene mutation.Among 8 CS fetuses, complete triad(sacral agenesis abnormalities, anorectal malformation and presacral mass)were displayed only in 2 fetuses, while all 8 had sacral agenesis abnormalities and 6(6/8,75.00%)were detected with prenatal ultrasound,6 had low location of conus medullaris and 2(2/6,33.33%)detected with prenatal ultrasound. Conclusion Prenatal ultrasound was the first choice for non-invasive diagnosis of fetal CS.When one of sacral agenesis abnormalities, anorectal malformation and presacral mass was found with prenatal ultrasound, the possibility of CS should be considered, and fetal MRI,genetic examination and prenatal genetic counselling should be recommended if necessary.

Acta Universitatis Medicinalis Anhui 2022;57(2):197-202
Objective :
To explore the epicardial adipose tissue ( EAT) of patients with coronary heart disease , KLF7 stimulates macrophages to secrete inflammatory factors and promotes the differentiation and maturation of adipocytes through the NF⁃κB signaling pathway , and to clarify the mechanism of KLF7 in the occurrence and development of CAD.
Methods :
30 patients with coronary heart disease ( CAD group) and 30 patients without coronary heart disease (non⁃CAD group) were collected , and general data and biochemical indicators were collected. qRT⁃PCR was used to detect the expression levels of KLF7 , APN , IL⁃6 , and TNF⁃α mRNA in EAT. Human THP⁃1 cells were cultured in vitro and induced into M1 type macrophages and 3T3 ⁃L1 preadipocytes. The cells were divied into 3 groups : KLF7 up⁃regulated group ( transfected with KLF7 mimic) , KLF7 down⁃regulated group ( transfected with siRNA knockdown KLF7 ) , NC group ( transfected oligopeptide sequence) , transfected two kinds of cells. qRT⁃PCR was used to detect the expression of APN , MCP⁃1 , IL⁃6 and TNF⁃α mRNA in M1 type macrophages , and the protein expression levels of key factors in the NF⁃κB signaling pathway were detected by Westren blot.
The qRT⁃PCR method was used to detect APN , KLF4 , IL⁃6 , MCP⁃1 mRNA and adipocyte differentiation marker peroxisome proliferator⁃activated receptor⁃γ (PPARγ) in 3T3 ⁃L1 preadipocytes 24 h after transfection. CCAAT/enhancer binding protein α (C/EBPα ) , fatty acid binding protein 4 (FABP4) mRNA relative expression levels , and Westren blot was used to detect protein expression levels.
Results :
Compared with the non⁃CAD group , the expression of CAD group decreased , APN decreased , IL⁃6 and TNF⁃α increased significantly , and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0. 01) . KLF7 was highly expressed in human THP⁃1 derived M1 macrophages induced by inflammatory stimuli (LPS) . In M1 macrophages derived from human THP⁃1 , knocking down KLF7 could inhibit the release of inflammatory factors. Transfection with KLF7 ⁃siRNA could significantly inhibit LPS⁃induced phosphorylation of JNK⁃MAPKs , the level of p⁃p65 and the activation of p ⁃IκBa (P < 0. 05) . In 3T3 ⁃L1 preadipocytes , upregulation of KLF7 increased the expression of adipocyte differentiation markers PPARγ , C/EBPa , FABP4 mRNA , and promoted the differentiation of 3T3 ⁃L1 preadipocytes into adipocytes (P < 0. 05) .
Conclusion
The expression of KLF7 in EAT in CAD patients increases. KLF7 activates the activation of macrophages mediated by the JNK⁃NF⁃KB signaling pathway in EAT , promotes inflammation in EAT in CAD patients , and promotes the differentiation and maturation of adipocytes , thereby promoting the development of CAD. It indicates that KLF7 may be a potential therapeutic target for cardiovascular diseases (such as CAD) .

Chinese Critical Care Medicine 2020;32(2):235-237
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) guidelines emphasize that external chest compression should be started as early as possible during CPR. In addition to manual hand compressions, the machine for CPR can be used instead. However traditional machines for CPR take a lot of time toinstall, and is not conducive to the early initiation of chest compressions. So the medical staff of the emergency department of Mindong Hospital Affiliated to Fujian Medical University designed a new type of machine for CPR based on scissor lift principle without back plate. The design has obtained the national utility model patent. This patented product with flexible lifting and accurate placement is easy to install and fix, and can overcome the drawbacks of conventional machines that are uneasy to install, thus ensuring the implementation of high quality CPR.

Objective To observe the changes of cardiovascular function after acupuncture at Neiguan (PC 6) respectively with slowly twirling needling and tube needling in healthy subjects, and to objectively evaluate the pain intensity of the two needling methods.Method A hundred healthy young subjects were randomized into group A and group B, 50 cases in each group. Neiguan (PC 6) point was selected for acupuncture in both groups. In the first stage, group A received acupuncture by slowly twirling needling, while group B received acupuncture with tube needling; in the second stage (a week later), group A received acupuncture with tube needling, while group B by slowly twirling needling. The Short-form McGill Pain Questionnaire (SF-MPQ) was observed after acupuncture for each subject, and ZXG-E automatic cardiovascular function detector was adopted to evaluate the cardiovascular function before puncturing, 5 min after puncturing, and 30 min after puncturing.Result The Sensory Pain Rating Index (S-PRI) and total SF-MPQ scores of slowly twirling needling were significantly different from that of tube needling (P<0.01). The Affective Pain Rating Index (A-PRI), Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), and Present Pain Intensity (PPI) of slowly twirling needling method were significantly different from that of tube needling (P<0.01). At 5 min after needle insertion, the FEK and VER values of twirling needling were significantly different from that of tube needling (P<0.01).Conclusion The pain produced by slowly twirling needling is more variant and stronger than that by tube needling, and this pain variation can produce a positive effect on cardiovascular function.
