Animal experimentation constitutes a critical link between basic research and clinical application, making its research quality and translational efficiency paramount. Although considerable progress has been made in standardizing operational procedures and ethical guidelines, the standardization of outcome evaluation systems has significantly lagged, creating a key bottleneck that constrains the quality of biomedical research and evidence synthesis. This deficiency is manifested by pronounced heterogeneity in outcome selection across similar studies, incomplete methodological reporting, and disparate criteria for result interpretation, which severely impairs the comparability of findings and the evidence integration. To cope with this challenge, this paper systematically introduces a mature methodological tool from clinical research–the core outcome set (COS)–and explores its construction strategies and application potential in the field of animal experimentation. Given the extensive diversity of animal experiments, a pragmatic strategy of "focusing on key areas, implementing phased pilots, and promoting gradual expansion" should be adopted. This approach prioritizes the development of domain-specific COS for disease areas characterized by high research volume, urgent translational needs, and well-established animal models. A multi-source integration pathway for COS development is detailed, comprising systematic literature searches, methodological appraisals, and expert consensus, with the feasibility of leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance efficiency also being examined. The development and promotion of such COS are not intended to restrict scientific exploration; rather, they aim to establish a new, tiered evaluation paradigm consisting of "core outcomes" (mandatory), "recommended outcomes" (encouraged), and "exploratory outcomes" (optional). This framework is expected not only to enhance research quality through standardization and to adhere to the "3R" principles but also to accelerate the accumulation of high-quality evidence. This, in turn, provides a solid foundation for higher-level evidence synthesis, ultimately facilitating the effective translation of basic research findings into clinical practice and providing an essential methodological framework for scientific advancement in relevant disciplines.

Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of a zanubrutinib-based combination regimen as first-line treatment for patients with B-cell chronic lymphoproliferative disorder (B-CLPD). Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on 26 patients with B-CLPD, including indolent B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (B-iNHL), mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), and other unclassifiable B-CLPD, who were newly diagnosed and treated at the Department of Hematology, Zhongshan Hospital (Xiamen), Fudan University between January 2021 and January 2025. Patients were divided into two groups according to the treatment regimen: BR (bendamustine plus rituximab) and ZBR (zanubrutinib combined with BR regimen). Baseline characteristics, treatment responses, and the incidence of treatment-related adverse events (TRAE) were compared between the two groups. Results No statistically significant differences in baseline characteristics were observed between the two groups. All patients completed at least four cycles of treatment. There were no significant differences between the BR and ZBR groups in partial response rate (46.2% vs 53.8%), complete response rate (53.8% vs 15.4%), overall response rate (100.0% vs 84.6%), or TRAE incidence. After the first cycle, the lymphocyte count was higher in the ZBR group than in the BR group (P＝0.002); no other statistically significant differences in other hematologic parameters were observed at any treatment cycle. Conclusions In patients with B-iNHL, MCL, and other unclassifiable B-CLPD, the ZBR regimen demonstrates similar safety and response rates to the BR regimen. These findings support further investigation into the clinical value of ZBR as first-line treatment regimen in a limited course for indolent lymphoid malignancies.

Objective To systematically review the efficacy and safety of reduced versus standard doses of CDK4/6 inhibitors in patients with HR+/HER2-advanced breast cancer.Methods PubMed,Web of Science,Cochrane Library,Embase,CNKI,WanFang Data,VIP,databases were electronically searched to collect randomized controlled trials(RCTs)on HR+/HER2-advanced breast cancer patients treated with reduction of CDK4/6 inhibitor dose and standard dose from inception to April 1,2025.Two reviewers independently screened the literature,extracted data,and assessed the risk of bias of the included studies.Meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 5.1 software.Results A total of 14 RCTs involving 4,958 patients were included.The results of Meta-analysis showed that there was no statistically significant difference in PFS[HR=1.01,95％CI(0.92,1.11),P=0.81]and OS[HR=0.78,95％CI(0.52,1.18),P=0.25]in the dose-reduced group and the standard dose group,while ORR[RR=0.83,95％CI(0.71,0.96),P=0.01]and incidence of grade 3 and above neutropenia[RR=0.42,95％CI(0.21,0.85),P=0.02]in the dose-reduced group were significantly better than those in the standard dose group.Conclusions Current evidence shows that the dose reduction of CDK4/6 inhibitors can considerably reduce the incidence of grade 3 and above neutropenia without affecting PFS and OS.

Objective:To explore the categories and characteristics of health behaviors of community residents in Dongfang City, Hainan Province, and to analyze the influencing factors of different categories.Methods:From March to May 2023, 795 community residents of Dongfang City were selected for the study using a simple random sampling method. General Information Questionnaire, Chinese version Short of Health Promotion Lifestyle Profile-Ⅱ, Health Conception Scale, and Self-rated Abilities for Health Practice Scale were used to conduct the survey. Cluster analysis was used to explore the health behavior categories of community residents, and a decision tree model was applied to analyze the influencing factors of different categories.Results:A total of 830 questionnaires were distributed, and 795 valid questionnaires were recovered, with a valid recovery rate of 95.78%. The health behaviors of 795 community residents in Dongfang City were divided into four categories of comprehensive behavior group (26.04%, 207/795), healthy behavior group (37.23%, 296/795), risky behavior group (18.99%, 151/795), and poor health behavior group (17.74%, 141/795). The decision tree model showed that exercise efficacy, gender, ethnicity, and clinical health concepts were the factors influencing different health behavior categories of community residents in Dongfang City ( P<0.05), with exercise efficacy being the core factor. Conclusions:There is heterogeneity in the health behavior of community residents in Dongfang City. Community healthcare workers can implement targeted health promotion measures according to the behavioral characteristics of the population.

Objective To construct and evaluate the prediction model of maternal mortality in Yunnan Province,and predict the maternal mortality rate in Yunnan Province from 2024 to 2030.Methods Based on the maternal mortality rates in Yunnan Province from 1994 to 2023,a grey prediction model and a autoregressive integrated moving average model were constructed,The models were compared using mean absolute error,mean square error and root mean square error to assess their fitting performance,and the optimal model was used to predict the maternal mortality rate in Yunnan Province from 2024 to 2030.Resuls The maternal mortality rate in Yunnan Province showed a continuous decline from 1994 to 2023(χ2=50 170.0,P<0.05).The mean absolute error,mean-square error and root mean-square error for the grey prediction model were 2.424,12.389,3.519,respectively,while for the differential autoregressive moving average model,they were 3.966,27.651,5.258,respectively.The prediction effect of the grey prediction model is superior to that of the autoregressive integrated moving average model,with a posterior difference ratio C=0.079 and a low probability error P=1,indicating a prediction accuracy of level 1.Using the grey prediction model,the maternal mortality rates for Yunnan Province from 2024 to 2030 are 10.05/100 000,9.16/100 000,8.34/100 000,7.59/100 000,691/100 000,6.30/100 000 and 5.73/100 000,respectively.Conclusion The grey prediction model has a good prediction effect on maternal mortality in Yunnan Province.It is predicted that the maternal mortality rate in Yunnan Province in 2030 can meet the control targets outlined in the"Healthy China 2030 Plan",the"Outline of Chinese Women's Development(2021-2030)"and the"Yunnan Women's Development Plan(2021-2030)".
