The tetraspanins are closely associated with the development and therapeutic prognosis of colorectal tumors. These proteins play a role in cell proliferation, metastasis, and invasion, regulate apoptosis and autophagy of colorectal tumor cells. affect immune escape by releasing exosomes, intervening the epithelial-mesenchymal transition process, and altering the tumor microenvironment, and enhance tumor stemness through specific pathways. This paper reviews the mechanisms and current research regarding the status of tetraspanins in colorectal cancer, aiming to improve early diagnosis and providing valuable insights for treatment strategies.

Objective To explore the mechanism of Gualou Xiebai Baijiu Decoction(GXB)in improving atherosclerosis(AS)in mice by regulating the gut microbiota(GM)and its metabolites.Methods Thirty-two male ApoE-/-mice were divided randomly into a Blank group,Model group,atorvastatin(Ato)group,and GXB group(n=8 mice per group).AS was established in all mice,except the Blank group,and the respective treatments were administered by gavage.Aortic plaques were detected by Oil red O staining and pathological changes in aortic tissue were detected by hematoxylin and eosin staining.The GM was analyzed using 16S rRNA gene sequencing technology,and mouse GM metabolites,including trimethylamine oxide(TMAO),short-chain fatty acids(SCFA),and serum levels of triglycerides(TG),total cholesterol(TC),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),and nitric oxide(NO)were determined.Results Compared with the Blank group,mice in the Model and Ato groups showed an increase in AS plaque area(P＜0.05).Serum levels of TG,TC,and LDL-C were increased(P＜0.001)while levels of HDL-C and NO were decreased(P＜0.01,P＜0.001)in the Model group compared with the Blank group.The plaque area was decreased(P＜0.05),serum levels of TG,TC,and LDL-C were decreased(P＜0.001),and NO levels were increased(P＜0.01)in the Ato and GXB groups,while HDL-C levels were increased in the GXB group(P＜0.05)compared with the Model group.Plaque area was decreased(P＜0.05)and the NO level was increased(P＜0.01)in the GXB group compared with the Ato group.A total of 6345 characteristic sequences were obtained from 16S rRNA analysis.α-Diversity analysis indicated that GXB reduced the richness of the GM in AS mice(P＜0.001)and improved its uniformity(P＜0.05).β-Diversity analysis suggested that the microbial community structure in the GXB group was similar to that in the Blank group.The abundance of microbial communities differed among the groups at the phylum and genus levels.At the phylum level,the abundance of Proteobacteria was increased(P＜0.01)in AS mice,while GXB intervention reduced the abundance of Proteobacteria(P＜0.01)and increased the abundance of Verrucomimicrobiota(P＜0.05).At the genus level,GXB effectively increased the abundance of Akkermansia(P＜0.05).SCFAs were significantly increased(P＜0.01)and TMAO levels were significantly decreased(P＜0.01)in the GXB group compared with the Model group.Conclusions GXB can regulate the intestinal flora and intestinal flora metabolites SCFA and TMAO to improve AS.Akkermansia may be a key bacterial genus of the gut microbiota through which GXB may improve AS.

ObjectiveTo analyze the causes of occupational acute 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCE) poisoning accident during the use of polyurethane grouting materials for waterproof plugging operation in the construction industry. Methods By combining the clinical symptoms of the patient, worksite survey of occupational health and workplace occupational hazards monitoring method, the cause of an occupational acute 1,2-DCE poisoning accident was investigated at a construction site during the use of polyurethane grouting material for waterproofing and plugging operations. Results The patient was engaged in waterproof grouting work using polyurethane grouting material. The main volatile organic components in the raw materials were 1,2-DCE, with traces of dichloromethane, methyl acetate and others. The result of post-incident on-site investigation showed that the short-term exposure concentration of 1,2-DCE in the workplace air was 578.70 mg/m³, which was more than 30 times higher than the national occupational health standard limit. The mass concentration of 1,2-DCE in the patient's blood was 230 μg/L. Combined with the patient's occupational hazard exposure history, clinical manifestations, worksite survey of occupational health, and laboratory test results, according to GBZ 39-2016 Diagnosis of Occupational Acute 1,2-Dichloroethane Poisoning, this incident was diagnosed as a severe occupational acute 1,2-DCE poisoning event caused by the use of inferior polyurethane grouting material. Conclusion The excessive concentration of 1,2-DCE in the workplace air is the main cause of this poisoning accident. Construction sites with confined space operations should improve various occupational health management systems, occupational health engineering protective facilities, and personal protective equipment must be provided for workers.

Objective To investigate the clinical curative effect of Modified Gualou Xiebai Banxia Decoction in the treatment of stable angina pectoris(SAP)with internal resistance of phlegm and turbidity and its effect on gut microbiota.Methods The clinical data of 72 cases of SAP patients with phlegm turbidity and internal resistance type in our hospital were selected for prospective study,sorted according to the order of admission,and divided into control group and observer by random number table method,with 36 cases in each group.The control group was given standardized western medicine treatment,and the observation group was given the addition of Modified Gualou Xiebai Banxia Decoction on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy and gut microbiota composition of the two groups of patients were compared.Results After treatment,the clinical efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in the ECG efficacy between the two groups(P>0.05).Based on 16S rDNA technology,at the phylum and genus levels,there was no difference in the abundance of Bacteroidota,Bacteroides and Faecalibacterium(P>0.05).After treatment,the abundance of Bacteroidota in the observation group increased more significantly than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Modified Gualou Xiebai Banxia Decoction can effectively improve the clinical efficacy of SAP patients with phlegm-turbid internal resistance by regulating gut microbiota,which provides new inspiration for the further development of Gualou Xiebai Banxia Decoction.

background The lead isotope ratios (LIR) differ among different sourced samples. Previous domestic and oversea studies on source tracing by LIR in human blood or urine mainly focused on the comparison of blood or urine samples from the same or different individuals, while few comparisons between biological and environmental samples, and the reported relative standard deviations (RSDs) of the main LIR (^207/206Pb and ^208/206Pb) fluctuate widely from 0.3% to 1%. Objective To optimize inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), obtain a better RSD, and determine LIRs of human blood, urine, and related environmental samples. Methods The ICP-MS was optimized for operating conditions and parameters according to the sensitivity and RSD of LIR. The study subjects were 40 lead-exposed workers in a lead-acid battery factory and 2 lead poisoned children in a hospital. The samples included 40 blood and 40 urine samples from the workers before shift, 4 dust samples and 2 water samples in the workplace on the same day before shift, 2 blood and 3 urine samples from the children before hospital admission due to lead-poisoning, and 4 urine samples after medical treatment. After heating and acid digestion, the LIR (^207/206Pb and ^208/206Pb) of biological and environmental samples were determined by the optimized ICP-MS method. t-test and two-dimensional traceability graphics were adopted to analyze the detection results. Results The calibrated RSDs of the LIR (^207/206Pb and ^208/206Pb) of lead isotope standard solution were 0.11% and 0.08% respectively, and the NIST-SRM-981 actual values were 0.91531±0.00097 and 2.1670±0.0017, respectively. When the total concentration of lead was greater than 5 μg·L⁻¹, the RSD of each isotope ratio was stable gradually; when the total concentration of lead was between 10-80 μg·L⁻¹, the RSD was below 0.20%. There were statistically significant differences in the blood and urine LIR (^207/206Pb and ^208/206Pb) of the lead-exposed workers (t=5.831, P<0.001; t=21.021, P<0.001), the LIR (^207/206Pb and ^208/206Pb) between workplace dust samples and workers’ urine samples (t=−6.879, P=0.038; t=12.521, P<0.001), and the ^208/206Pb between workplace dust samples and workers’ blood samples (t=−10.46, P<0.001), except the ^207/206Pb between workplace dust samples and workers’ blood samples (t=−0.12, P=0.912). In the patients afflicted with lead poisoning, the projection points of LIR of blood and urine samples from the same individual were not at the same level in the two-dimensional model, nor was the LIR of urine samples before and after medical treatment of the same individual. Conclusion The optimized ICP-MS can control the RSD of main LIR (^207/206Pb and ^208/206Pb) below 0.20%. There are differences in the LIR distributions of different samples.

Objective:To study the treatment efficacy of percutaneous radiofrequency thermocoagulation in patients with hyperhidrosis of heads and palms.Methods:Thirty patients with primary hyperhidrosis of heads and palms, admitted to our hospital from June 2017 to May 2019, were chosen in our study. CT-guided percutaneous puncture of T 3 or T 4 and sympathetic ganglion radiofrequency thermocoagulation were given to all patients. The evaluation of curative effects and complications of these patients were summarized during the 12 months of follow up. Results:The symptoms of hyperhidrosis in 24 patients got significant improvement, enjoying postoperative satisfaction rate of 80%. During the surgery, 5 patients suffered thoracic and lung puncture injury, including 4 with pneumothorax and one with hemothorax. Seven patients experienced pain and numbness in the chest, back, armpit or upper arm after surgery; 10 patients developed compensatory hyperhidrosis of the back, and two patients developed compensatory hyperhidrosis of the back and bilateral feet.Conclusion:Percutaneous radiofrequency is an effective treatment for hyperhidrosis that provides excellent immediate and long-term effect, as well as low complication rate.

OBJECTIVE：To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of Kuanxiong aerosol in the treatment of coronary heart disease angina ，and to provide evidence-based reference for climical drug use . METHODS ：Retrieved from Cochrane Library，PubMed，Embase，CKNI，Wanfang data ，VIP，and CBM ，randomized controlled trials （RCTs）about Kuanxiong aerosol （trial group ）versus nitroglycerin （control group ）in the treatment of coronary heart disease angina were collected during the inception to Mar. 20th，2020. After literature screening and data extraction ，quality assessment was performed using the bias risk assessment tool recommended by the Cochrane System Evaluator Manual 5.1.0. Meta-analysis was performed by using Rev Man 5.3 statistical software. Sensitivity analysis was conducted for the stability of the result ，and trial sequential analysis （TSA）was performed by using TSA 0.9 software. RESULTS ：A total of 11 RCTs were included ，with a total of 1 847 cases. Meta-analysis showed that improvement rate of angina pectoris （within 3 min）[RR＝1.11，95％CI（1.02，1.22），P＝0.02] and total response rate of angina pectoris （within 5 min）[RR＝1.04，95％ CI（1.01，1.07），P＝0.01] in trial group were significantly higher than control group；the incidence of ADR [RR＝0.44，95％CI（0.35，0.57），P＜0.000 01] in trial group was significantly lower than control group. There was no statistical significance in total response rate of ECG [RR＝1.02，95％CI（0.97，1.09），P＝0.42] or the level of NO after treatment [SMD ＝－0.08，95％CI（－0.61，0.45），P＝0.76] between 2 groups. The results of sensitiv ity analysis and TSA showed that the efficacy evidence of Kuanxiong aerosol in the treatment of coronary heart disease pectoris was not accurate ，but the evidence of safety was accurate. CONCLUSIONS ：Kuanxiong aerosol can improve the efficacy in patients with coronary heart disease angina ，and the safety is better ，but the conclusions of efficacy needs to be further confirmed by enlarging sample size.

Objective To observe the clinical characteristics of 2 patients with mucolipidosis type Ⅲ. Methods Two sibling patients (a sister and a brother) with mucolipidosis type Ⅲ symptoms and other family members were the research objects, and the changes of their features of hand bone imaging, blood indexes [blood glucose, cholesterol, triacylglycerol (TG), total protein (TP), albumin (Alb)] and body composition were analyzed. Results Except the 2 patients, the bone morphology, blood indexes and body compositions in other 7 family members were under normal conditions. The phalanx intervals of both hands in 2 patients with mucolipidosis type Ⅲwere widened significantly, among them the thumb manifestation was more obvious; the distal segments of phalanxes in both hands became pointed and curved presenting a "claw-like hand" deformity; the metacarpal and distal carpal metaphysis were obviously enlarged, and scaphoid, lunate, trianglar, orbicular, and trapezium and trapezoid bones were loosely arranged at the wrist; the distal ends of ulna and radius were markedly enlarged. Compared to healthy people, the triglyceride levels of serum in the 2 patients were obviously reduced (the percentage of reduction: 57.14% and 41.07% respectively); body mass indexes (BMI), total fat and visceral fat were significantly lowered (BMI reduction percentage:26.81% and 14.55%, total fat reduction percentage: 38.12% and 44.95%, visceral fat reduction percentage: 62.25% and 67.74%, respectively) in the two patients. Conclusion The purpose of studying the biochemistry indexes, imaging characteristics and body compositions is to more deeply understand the clinical symptoms and signs of the 2 sibling patients with mucolipidosis type Ⅲ in a family to provide a theoretical reference.

Objective To investigate the diagnosis and treatment of anorectal malignant melanoma,in order to regulate surgical methods and explore multi-modality treatment.Methods Clinical pathological features,diagnosis and treatment procedures of 38 patients with anorectal melanoma were reviewed,and their correlation with prognosis were analyzed.Results In 38 patients,10 of them were male and 28 were female,with the mean age of 58.7 years old (ranged 28-75 years old).28 patients underwent abdominoperineal resection,10 patients underwent wide local excision.The 1-,3-,and 5-year disease-free survival rates were 64.9 ％,18.5 ％ and 5.7 ％,respectively.The 1-,3-,and 5-year overall survival rates were 85.8 ％,24.1％ and 6.4 ％,respectively.Tumor thickness (≥ 1.51 rm) and tumor diameter (≥3 cm) were associated with lymph metastases (x2 =13.093,4.449,P =0.011,0.020),tumor thickness was also associated with distant metastases (x2 =11.965,P =0.018).According to the Kaplan-Meier method,comprehensive treatment after surgery had significant effects on disease-free survival (x2 =7.441,P =0.006).Tumor thickness,lymph metastases,and clinical staging had significant effects on overall survival (x2 =16.741,16.474,16.775,P =0.002,0.000,0.000).Cox proportional hazards model indicated that comprehensive treatment after surgery was the independent prognostic risk factors of disease-free survival (95 ％ CI 1.420-17.621,P =0.012).Tumor thickness and lymph metastases were the independent prognostic risk factors of overall survival (95 ％ CI 0.250-0.949,1.033-2.573,P =0.035,0.036).Conclusion Early detection,reasonable surgical procedure,generalized systemic focus on immunotherapy treatment are the key to improve quality of life and prolong the survival time of anorectal malignant melanoma patients.
