Objective:
To explore the clinical and radiological features of myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) antibody associated disease.
Methods:
The clinical data of 22 MOG antibody associated disease cases treated in the Department of Neurology, Qilu Hospital of Shandong University from January 2017 to June 2019 were retrospectively analyzed. The clinical data of MOG antibody associated disease were summarized, including clinical and imaging features.
Results:
Of the 22 included patients with MOG antibody associated disease, the average age was 38.5 years, 13 were male and nine were female. Among them, 11 cases manifested as aquaporin-4 (AQP4)-negative neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD), four cases optic neuritis, two cases transverse myelitis, one case acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM), two cases cortical encephalitis and two cases vestibular neuronitis. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) results showed that multiple anatomical areas were involved. Among the nine patients with optic nerve involvement, five patients had longitudinally extensive optic nerve lesions, which were longitudinally enhanced. In eight patients, MRI lesions in the spinal cord showed mostly long or short segments involvement, involving 2-5 spinal cord segments. Five cases involved the cervical spinal cord, six cases involved the thoracic spinal cord, and one case involved the lumbar spinal cord. Brain MRI abnormalities were found in 13 cases and the lesions were mostly patchy and point-shaped. MRI lesions demonstrated T2 hyperintensity and some of them could be strengthened, which may involve the basal ganglia, thalamus, radiographic crown, frontal temporal lobe, brain stem and other parts. Among them, 16 patients were sensitive to high-dose intravenous/oral methylprednisolone in the acute phase. Seven patients had recurrence after two months to two years of follow-up.
Conclusions
MOG antibody associated disease include multiple manifestations. Among them, AQP4-negative NMOSD is the most common form. The clinical manifestations of patients showed diversity. Imaging is characterized by multiple parts involvement such as optic nerve, spinal cord, and brain. Most patients are sensitive to high-dose intravenous/oral methylprednisolone, and have a good prognosis in the acute phase, but some patients may relapse.

Objective:To explore the relationships between medical coping modes of patients with COVID-19 and general information and social supports. Methods:From January 28 to February 20, 2020, a total of 128 patients in a designated hospital in Wuhan with novel coronavirus pneumonia were investigated using the General Information Questionnaire and the Chinese version of the Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire (MCMQ) by convenient sampling. Pearson univariate analysis and multiple linear regression were used to analyze the relationship between the basic situation of patients with novel coronavirus pneumonia and coping modes. Results:The scores of the face dimension and avoidance dimension of patients with COVID-19 were lower than the norm model, while the yield dimension was higher than the norm model, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Support utilization and complexity were influencing factors of the face dimension ( P<0.05) . Support utilization and age were influencing factors of the yielding dimension ( P<0.01) . Subjective support, the complexity dimension of disease uncertainty and the number of confirmed patients in the family were influencing factors of the avoidance dimension ( P<0.01) . Conclusions:Patients with COVID-19 have poor medical coping modes, and they are prone to face the disease with a negative attitude. Patients are unwilling to face the disease and the tendency to yield to the disease is greater. And the older the patients, the less likely they are to succumb to the disease. The more patients diagnosed in the family, the less likely they are to avoid the disease. Patients with higher social supports and utilization have a more reasonable medical coping mode. This reminds medical staff to pay more attention to the psychological problems of patients in coping with COVID-19 and improve their coping modes and methods.

Objective:
To investigate the clinical and laboratory features of Aeromonas bacteremia in patients with hematological diseases, and provide evidence for the prevention and treatment of Aeromonas infection.
Methods:
A retrospective study of patients with bloodstream infection of Aeromonas in our hospital from January 2014 to December 2018 was carried out. The clinical characteristics, antimicrobial susceptibility, infection seasons, antimicrobial therapy and evolution were analyzed.
Results:
A total of 42 patients with hematological diseases had Aeromonas bloodstream infection within 5 years. Among them, 39 cases (92.9%) of bloodstream infection occurred in the stage of neutropenia. The median time of fever was 4 (1-27) d, 22 (52.4%) patients only had fever, 6 (14.3%) with gastrointestinal symptoms (abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, upper gastrointestinal bleeding) , 8 (19.0%) with pulmonary infection, 13 (31.0%) with skin and soft tissue infections. Seven patients (16.7%) died with skin and soft tissue infection. The resistance of Aeromonas to carbapenems was 68.3%-70.7%, while the resistance rate to cephalosporins, quinolones and aminoglycosides were less than 10%.
Conclusions
Aeromonas bacteremia in patients with hematological diseases mainly occur in the neutropenia stage, usually with symptom like fever. The mortality is increased when accompanied by skin and soft tissue infection. Antibiotic use should be based on susceptibility results, and avoid the use of carbapenems.

Human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) depend on glycolysis for energy and substrates for biosynthesis. To understand the mechanisms governing the metabolism of hESCs, we investigated the transcriptional regulation of glucose transporter 1 (GLUT1, SLC2A1), a key glycolytic gene to maintain pluripotency. By combining the genome-wide data of binding sites of the core pluripotency factors (SOX2, OCT4, NANOG, denoted SON), chromosomal interaction and histone modification in hESCs, we identified a potential enhancer of the GLUT1 gene in hESCs, denoted GLUT1 enhancer (GE) element. GE interacts with the promoter of GLUT1, and the deletion of GE significantly reduces the expression of GLUT1, glucose uptake and glycolysis of hESCs, confirming that GE is an enhancer of GLUT1 in hESCs. In addition, the mutation of SON binding motifs within GE reduced the expression of GLUT1 as well as the interaction between GE and GLUT1 promoter, indicating that the binding of SON to GE is important for its activity. Therefore, SON promotes glucose uptake and glycolysis in hESCs by inducing GLUT1 expression through directly activating the enhancer of GLUT1.

OBJECTIVE:To observe the efficacy and safety of Sanjiao fuzheng mixture combined with concurrent chemoradiotherapy of paclitaxel and nedaplatin in the treatment of local advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). METHODS:A total of 68 patients with local advanced NSCLC selected from our hospital during Jan. 2015 to Jan. 2017 were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table, with 34 cases in each group. Control group was given Paclitaxel injection 135 mg/m2 intravenously,d1+Nedaplatin for injection 75 mg/m2 intravenously,d3,21 d as a treatment course, for 2 courses;routine fractionated intensity modulated radiation therapy,2 Gy each time,5 times a week,60-70 Gy in total;given 2 cycles of primary chemotherapy continuously after radiotherapy. Observation group was additionally given Sanjiao fuzheng mixture 250 mL/d,divided into 3 times, till the end of treatment,on the basis of control group. Clinical efficacies were observed in 2 groups. The levels of nutritional indexes (BMI,PAB,ALB,Hb) and tumor markers (SCC-Ag,CEA,TK1, CYFRA21-10) before and after treatment were observed. The occurrence of ADR were recorded. RESULTS:There was no statistical significance in the total effective rate between 2 groups (observation group 82.35% vs. control group 73.53%)(P>0.05). After treatment, the levels of BMI,PAB,ALB and Hb in 2 groups were significantly lower than before treatment, but the observation group was significantly higher than the control group. The levels of SCC-Ag,CEA,TK1 and CYFRA21-1 in 2 groups were significantly lower than before treatment, and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). The incidence of Ⅲ-Ⅳ degree aleucocytosis,Ⅰ-Ⅱ degree hemoglobin reduction and thrombocytopenia in observation group were significantly lower than control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:The efficacy of Sanjiao fuzheng mixture combined with concurrent chemoradiotherapy of paclitaxel and nedaplatin is similar to that of concurrent chemoradiotherapy of paclitaxel and nedaplatin for localadvanced NSCLC,which can improve nutritional status significantly, and reduce the incidence of ADR.

Objective To explore the regulation mechanism for miR - 125a - 5P in epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)signaling pathway in medulloblastoma. Methods The potential targets of miR - 125a - 5P in the EGFR signaling pathway were predicted by TargetScan and Sanger software, there were 3 groups:control group, non -sense group and miR - 125a - 5P group. Their relationship, between miR - 125a - 5P and cyclin - dependent kinase in-hibitor 2B( CDKN2B),E2F transcription factor 3( E2F3),mitogen - activated protein kinase 14( MAPK14)and growth factor receptor - bound protein 10(GRB10),were tested by luciferase experiments. After miR - 125a - 5P oligo-nucleotide was transfected to D341 cells,miR - 125a - 5P level was detected by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction. Then the thiazolyl blue tetrazolium bromide assay was used to draw the cell growth curves, and Transwell assay was used to detect cell migration ability. The expression levels of GRB10,EGFR,phosphatidylinositol 3 - kinase(PI3K) and Ras were tested by Western blot method. Results The results of luciferase experimental results showed that GRB10 was the only target gene of miR - 125a - 5P. After miR - 125a - 5P being transfected, the D341 cell prolifera-tion obviously declined markedly. Compared with control group[(38. 16 ± 7. 47)% ]and the non - sense group [(36. 79 ± 8. 94)% ],cell migration rate in the miR - 125a - 5P group was lowest[(13. 59 ± 4. 41)% ],and there was a significant difference among 3 groups(χ2 = 11. 495,P < 0. 05);in the miR - 125a - 5P group, the expression level of EGFR increased 1. 67 times,GRB10,PI3K and Ras levels were reduced to 23% ,61% and 42% . Conclusion miR - 125a - 5P can inhibit tumor growth by silenced GRB10 expression targeting EGFR downstream signaling pathways in medulloblastoma.
