In order to explore effective ways to reduce non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) among female adolescents, a total of 45 female adolescent patients with NSSI in West China Hospital of Sichuan University and Guizhou Second Provincial People's Hospital from June 2021 to June 2024 were selected randomly that divided into groups A, B and C, with 15 cases in each group. Group A was treated with repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) and bipolar depression triple therapy, and group B was treated with bipolar depression triple therapy to compare the effectiveness and safety. Group C received bipolar depression triple therapy combined with sham stimulation which only produced stimulating sounds but no stimulating magnetic field as a control in the study. After treatment, the Hamilton Anxiety Score (HAMA), Hamilton Depression Score (HAMD) and Nurses' Global Assessment of Suicide Risk (NGASR) in group A were significantly lower than those in group B and C ( P < 0.01). rTMS combined with bipolar depression triple therapy has a definite effect on reducing NSSI in female adolescents, which can reduce the incidence rate of short-term NSSI behavior in patients.

Background The serious air pollution of highway toll booths poses a high occupational exposure risk to toll collectors. It is urgent to develop purification methods suitable for airborne particles and microbial pathogens in highway toll booths. Objective To verify the purification effect of low temperature plasma air purifiers on airborne particles and microbes in highway toll booths. Methods Based on controlled-intervention design, we selected three toll booths in an expressway toll station as on-site experimental locations for 6 d (no-intervention period: the low-temperature plasma purifier was turned off in the first three days; intervention period: the purifier was turned on from 9:00 to 17:00 in the following three days). The indoor and outdoor PM_2.5 and PM₁₀ concentrations were continuously monitored during the study. At 9:00, 12:00, and 17:00 of every day during the experiment, indoor and outdoor air samples were collected to analyze the concentration of airborne culturable colonies with a plankton sampler. Airborne particle samples were collected in the outermost exit continuously from 9:00 to 17:00 every day during the experiment using a medium flow particulate sampler, and the species and relative abundance of fungi and bacteria contained in the samples were analyzed by gene sequencing. Independent-sample t test was used to compare the concentration of indoor PM_2.5, PM₁₀, and culturable colonies between the intervention period and the non-intervention period. α diversity analysis, β diversity analysis, and t test were used to compare the diversity and relative abundance of specific species of bacteria and fungi, as well as typical pathogenic bacteria and fungi in the samples between the non-intervention period and the intervention period to reflect the purification effect of low temperature plasma air purifier on airborne PM_2.5, PM₁₀, and microorganisms. Results During the intervention period, the mean indoor concentrations of PM_2.5, PM₁₀, and culturable colonies were lower than those of the no-intervention period (P<0.01 or P<0.001). The ratios of indoor to outdoor concentration (I/O) of PM_2.5 and PM₁₀ during the intervention period were significantly lower than those of the no-intervention period (P<0.001), except the I/O of culturable colonies. Compared with the average concentration at 9:00, the average cleaning rates at 12:00 and 17:00 for PM_2.5 were 49.0% and 46.1%, for PM₁₀ were 49.7% and 45.4%, for airborne culturable colonies were 50.8% and 49.9%, respectively. The β diversity analysis showed that there were significant differences in composition at the level of species of bacteria, and at the levels of genus and species of fungi between the intervention and the no-intervention periods. The relative abundances of 10 species of bacteria such as Lactobacillus and 7 species of fungi such as Torula in the intervention period were significantly lower than those in the non-intervention period, but the relative abundances of fungi such as unclassified_f_cladosporiaceae, trichomerium, and cercospora were higher (P<0.05). For typical pathogenic bacteria, the relative abundances of Lactobacillus and Clostridium_sensu_stricto_1 during the intervention period were 73.5% and 86.9% lower than those in the no-intervention period, and the relative abundance of Talaromyces was 53.5% lower (P<0.05). Conclusion Low temperature plasma air purifier has a good purification effect on indoor PM_2.5, PM₁₀, and culturable colonies in highway toll booths, and likely a limited effect on some fungi.

Objective:To delineate a deletional mutation of the HLA-B gene in a Chinese pedigree.Methods:A female patient with acute myeloid leukemia who had visited Liuzhou People′s Hospital in April 2022 was selected as the study subject. Routine human leukocyte antigen (HLA) was determined by using PCR-sequence specific oligonucleotide polymorphism (PCR-SSOP) and PCR-sequence-based typing (PCR-SBT) methods. Next generation sequencing (NGS) was used to validate the candidate variant in the HLA-B gene.Results:The PCR-SBT and SSOP results for the HLA-B locus were inconsistent for the patient and her daughter. The SSOP results of the two individuals were HLA-B*35: 01, 40: 02 and HLA-B*35: 01, 40: 01, respectively. However, the PCR-SBT results has indicated a mismatch with the nearest HLA-B*35: 01 at exon 4. NGS results showed that the HLA-B*35: 01 had a 9 bp deletion in the intron 5. The patient′s husband was HLA-B*40: 01, 58: 01, which was normal. Conclusion:The variant in intron 5 of the HLA-B gene in this pedigree has mapped to a primer-binding region for the SBT reagent, which has affected the accuracy of PCR-SBT results.

[Objective]To investigate the genetic polymorphism of 42 short tandem repeats(STRs),including 41 non-CODIS loci from the Shenzhen Han population and evaluate their potential values in forensic application.[Methods]In our research,the AGCU 21+1 STR kit and Microreader? 23sp Direct ID System were applied to analyze the polymorphism of STR loci from 435 unrelated individuals of Shenzhen Han population.Modified-Powerstates and Arlequin v3.5 software were used to analyze the allele frequencies and forensic parameters,and perform the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium test.[Results]A total of 418 alleles were detected from 435 unrelated individuals in Shenzhen,all consistent with Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium(P>0.05/42),with the allele frequency ranging from 0.001 1 to 0.552 9.Besides,the discrimination power(DP)ranged from 0.798 8(D1S1627)to 0.968 6(D7S3048),the polymorphic information content(PIC)ranged from 0.568 0(D1S1627)to 0.859 8(D7S3048),and the heterozygosity(H)ranged from 0.627 6(D1S1627)to 0.878 2(D20S470).Among all the STRs tested in the study,both D1S1656 and D21S1270 have 16 alleles and show the highest polymorphism.In comparison,only five alleles were observed in the D4S2408 locus,which displays the least polymorphism.[Conclusions]The 42 autosomal STR loci with high genetic polymorphism in Shenzhen Han population showed potential as an effective means for individual identification and paternity testing,especially in the cases with single parent or mutation detected.The obtained information can provide basic data for STR population genetics.

Objective:To explore the relationship between childhood trauma and anxiety in vocational school students, and to analyze the mediating role of emotion dysregulation.Methods:A cross-sectional survey was conducted in one vocational school in Ganzhou, all students completed a series of questionnaires, including the childhood trauma questionnaire (CTQ), difficulties in emotion regulation scale (DERS), and generalized anxiety disorder scale (GAD-7).The cut-off score for anxiety symptom was set GAD-7≥5.The data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and SPSS macro program PROCESS V4.0.Results:(1) The rate of anxiety in vocational school students was 42.96%, and girls were 27.1% higher than boys ( OR=1.271, 95% CI=1.095-1.474).(2) The CTQ (44(38, 51)) and DERS (98(89, 111)) in students with anxiety were both significantly higher than those in students without anxiety (39(34, 45), 81(73, 90), Z=-17.910, -33.859, both P<0.001).(3) Regression analysis showed that girls ( β=0.240, OR=1.271, 95% CI=1.095~1.474), childhood trauma ( β=0.028, OR=1.028, 95% CI=1.019~1.037), and emotion dysregulation ( β=0.076, OR=1.080, 95% CI=1.073-1.086) were significant predictors for anxiety.(4) Path analysis and mediating effect showed that childhood trauma positively predicted anxiety ( β=0.059, 95% CI=0.048-0.071) and emotion dysregulation ( β=0.802, 95% CI=0.749-0.854), and emotion dysregulation positively predicted anxiety ( β=0.139, 95% CI=0.132-0.145).Emotion dysregulation had a significant mediating effect (effect value=0.112, 95% CI=0.101-0.121) in the relationship between childhood trauma and anxiety, with the indirect effect accounting for 65.50% of the total effect. Conclusion:The incidence of anxiety symptoms is high among vocational school students, and childhood trauma not only directly affects anxiety symptoms, but also indirectly affects anxiety symptoms through emotion dysregulation.

In traditional clinical teaching of impacted tooth extraction, there are problems including limited observation fields for students, insufficient doctor-patient communication training, inadequate clinical thinking development, and low levels of clinical participation. Based on the core elements of visualizing jaw structure with perspective, formulating clinical strategy, immersing in clinical participation, and cultivating the spirit of caregiving, we developed a virtual reality simulation teaching platform for the clinical decision analysis of impacted tooth extraction. The virtual simulation-based platform can create three different impacted tooth scenarios in 3D, which demonstrates the process of clinical decision analysis of impacted tooth extraction through virtuality-reality interaction, allowing students to immerse in the discovery, analysis, and resolution of the medical and humanistic problems in the process of impacted tooth extraction. The questionnaire survey showed that 81.36% (48/59) of the students believed that the software could improve their clinical thinking ability; 76.27% (45/59) of the students believed that it could help them master the basic process of impacted tooth extraction; and 62.71% (37/59) of the students believed that it could improve their skills of impacted tooth extraction. By providing immersive learning experience, constructive teaching design, and multi-dimensional teaching evaluation, the software achieved the goals of cultivating students' clinical thinking ability and professional literacy in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Objective:To analyze the clinical symptoms and epidemiological characteristics of patients with tsutsugamushi disease (TD) in Utica County, Shiyan City, providing reference for scientific prevention and control of TD.Methods:The information of 57 TD patients admitted to the Department of Infectious Diseases of the People's Hospital of Utica County in Shiyan City from January to December 2022 was collected, including age, gender, occupation, clinical manifestations (tarsus or chigger, high fever, rash and accompanying syndromes), laboratory and imaging test results, and field work and travel history. Blood samples and body crusts were collected, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) were used to detect antibodies against Orientia tsugamushi (Ot-Ab-IgM) and Orientia tsutsugamushi (Ot). The scores of each patient were calculated using the TD Diagnostic Scale. A score of ≥8.5 was considered a clinical diagnosis of TD. According to the number of system functional damages (0, 1, 2, ≥3), 57 patients were divided into 4 groups, A, B, C, and D, TD was analyzed for system functional damages of each system.Results:Among the 57 TD patients, 26 (45.61%) were male and 31 (54.39%) were female, and the proportion of patients aged 40 - 79 years was 92.98% (53/57); farmers accounted for 89.47% (51/57). May was the peak of TD incidence, with 19 cases, which accounted for 33.33% (19/57) of the total number of patients affected that year. Fifty-four patients had a history of fieldwork or field trips before the onset of the disease. The incidence of high fever in 57 TD patients was 100.00%(57/57), the detection rate of body scorch or chiggers was 80.70% (46/57), and the incidence rate of rash was 98.25% (56/57); the incidence rate of tsutsugamushi disease triad (accompanied by scabs, high fever, and rash) was 80.70% (46/57); the incidence of eosinophil decline was 100.00%(57/57), and 77.19% (44/57) of TD patients experienced multiple-system functional damage (MSFD). The TD score diagnostic scale for 57 patients ranged from 8.5 to 10.5 points. After being hospitalized for 1 - 5 days, all TD patients experienced a decrease in body temperature to the normal range, and the damage to various systems functional gradually recovered.Conclusions:TD has become one of the most common natural infectious diseases in Utopia County, Shiyan City, Hubei Province. The patients are mainly middle-aged and elderly people, and the triple syndrome is a typical clinical manifestation. Asymptomatic injuries to the blood system, liver and kidneys are the most common.

Objective To develop a pulmonary rehabilitation training system based on scenario simulation for children with bronchiolitis obliterans,and to explore its application effect.Methods A pulmonary rehabilitation training program for children with bronchiolitis obliterans was constructed,and on the basis of this program,a pul-monary rehabilitation training system based on scenario simulation was developed for children with bronchiolitis obliterans,with real-time monitoring of relevant data.44 children with bronchiolitis obliterans who were hospitalized in the Department of Respiratory Medicine of a tertiary A children's specialized hospital in Hunan Province from January to December 2022 were selected by convenience sampling method,and the subjects were divided into an experimental group and a control group with 22 cases in each group.The experimental group adopted a pulmonary rehabilitation training program based on scenario simulation,and the control group implemented pulmonary rehabili-tation through nurse demonstration and guidance.At pre-intervention,4 weeks,and 12 weeks of intervention,the 2 groups were compared in terms of clinical symptom severity,pulmonary function,adherence to pulmonary rehabilita-tion,and the occurrence of pulmonary rehabilitation-related adverse events.Results There were no shedding cases in the experimental group and a case in the control group,and 22 cases were finally included in the experimental group and 21 cases in the control group.The results of repeated measures ANOVA showed that the comparison of clinical symptom severity and pulmonary function between the 2 groups at different time points was statistically sig-nificant in terms of time,between groups and interaction(P＜0.05).Simple effect analysis showed that after 4 and 12 weeks of intervention,the severity of clinical symptoms in the experimental group was lighter than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.001).At 12 weeks of intervention,pulmonary func-tion indexes,such as exertional expiratory volume in the first second,exertional lung volume,and maximum expiratory flow rate,were higher in the experimental group than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.001).At 4 and 12 weeks of intervention,the compliance of pulmonary rehabilitation in the experi-mental group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).At 12 weeks of intervention,the occurrence of adverse events related to pulmonary rehabilitation in the experimental group was less than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P=0.026).Conclusion The use of a scenario simulation-based pulmonary rehabilitation training system for children with bronchiolitis obliterans can effectively alleviate the clinical symptoms of children,improve their pulmonary function,increase compliance,and reduce the occurrence of pulmonary rehabilitation-related adverse events.

Objective:To explore the impact of nutrition education on the vitamin D nutritional status of pregnant women.Methods:It was a randomized controlled trial. A total of 96 women with vitamin D deficiency at 8-13 weeks of gestation who were regularly followed-up in the pregnancy nutrition clinic of the Department of Clinical Nutrition of Peking Union Medical College Hospital from January to October 2021 were selected by convenience sampling. The women were divided into a control group and an experimental group (48 cases in each group) according to the random number table method. The control group received routine outpatient treatment and was given different doses of vitamin D supplements according to the degree of vitamin D deficiency. On this basis, the experimental group were given additional nutritional education, including the distribution of vitamin D education manuals at 8-13 weeks of pregnancy, the assessment of vitamin D intake and cognition of vitamin D, the provision of individualized vitamin D nutritional status improvement plans, and the one-time assessment and guidance of vitamin D nutritional status at 24-28 weeks and 36-38 weeks of pregnancy, to continuously promote vitamin D health. Due to factors such as miscarriage or incomplete data acquisition during the study, 44 cases were finally included in the control group and 42 cases in the experimental group. The non-parametric test Mann-Whitney U was used to compare the vitamin D nutritional status of the two groups at 24-28 weeks and 36-38 weeks of pregnancy, and to analyze the effect of nutritional education on the vitamin D nutritional status of pregnant women. Results:At 8-13 weeks of pregnancy, there was no significant difference in serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D [25(OH)D] concentration between the two groups ( P>0.05). At 24-28 weeks of pregnancy, the serum 25(OH)D concentration and the proportion of pregnant women with normal vitamin D nutritional status in the experimental group were both significantly higher than those in the control group [29.90 (24.63, 34.28) vs 25.65 (21.50, 31.28) μg/L, 50.0% vs 29.5%] (both P<0.05). At 36-38 weeks of pregnancy, there was no significant difference in serum 25(OH)D level between the two groups ( P>0.05); however, the proportion of pregnant women with normal vitamin D nutritional status in the control group and the experimental group was 80.5% and 70.7%, respectively, which were both significantly higher than those in 8-13 and 24-28 weeks of pregnancy. The main effect of time was significant in both groups ( F=201.040, P<0.001). Conclusion:Nutrition education can enhance pregnant women′s knowledge of vitamin D, promote behavioral changes, and improve vitamin D nutritional status.

Objective:To explore the mechanism of herb-partitioned moxibustion in relieving rat intestinal inflammation by focusing on the neutrophil extracellular traps(NETs)in Crohn disease(CD)development. Methods:Rats were randomly divided into a normal group,a model group,a herb-partitioned moxibustion group,and a mesalazine group.The CD rat model was prepared with 2,4,6-trinitrobenzene sulfonic acid except for rats in the normal group.Rats in the normal group and model group did not receive any treatment but had the same fixation as the other groups.Rats in the herb-partitioned moxibustion group received herb-partitioned moxibustion at Qihai(CV6)and bilateral Tianshu(ST25).Rats in the mesalazine group received intragastric administration of mesalazine enteric-coated tablets.The general situation of rats in each group was recorded,and the histopathological changes in the colon were observed and scored by hematoxylin-eosin staining.The serum concentrations of NETs DNA(NETs-DNA),neutrophil elastase(NE)-DNA,and myeloperoxidase(MPO)-DNA were detected by ABC enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,and the citrullinated histone 3(citH3),MPO,and NE protein and mRNA expression levels in rat colon tissue were observed by immunofluorescence and real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction. Results:Compared with the normal group,the mucosal ulcer reached the muscularis,the epithelium was incomplete,the goblet cells decreased obviously with significant inflammatory cell infiltration in the colon;the colonic mucosa damage index(CMDI)score increased significantly(P<0.01);the serum NETs-DNA,NE-DNA,and MPO-DNA concentrations increased(P<0.05);the NE,citH3,and MPO protein and mRNA expression in the colonic tissue increased significantly in the model group(P<0.01 or P<0.05).Compared with the model group,the mucosal epithelium in the herb-partitioned moxibustion group and the mesalazine group was repaired and the goblet cells increased with a few infiltrating inflammatory cells in the colon;the CMDI score decreased(P<0.01);the serum NETs-DNA,NE-DNA,and MPO-DNA concentrations decreased(P<0.05);the NE,citH3,and MPO protein and mRNA expression in the colonic tissue was down-regulated(P<0.01 or P<0.05). Conclusion:Herb-partitioned moxibustion reduced the serum NETs complex and inhibited the protein and mRNA expression of NETs complex in the colon tissue,which may be one mechanism of herb-partitioned moxibustion in relieving colon mucosal inflammation in CD.
