Chinese Journal of School Health 2025;46(10):1489-1492
Objective:
To investigate the association between 24 hour activity behavior and body composition among primary and secondary school students using compositional data analysis method, so as to provide scientific guidance for optimizing daily activity allocation and improving physical health.
Methods:
In June 2021, following the principle of random cluster sampling, 349 primary and middle school students were selected by lottery method from Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province. Compositional multiple regression analysis was conducted to examine the relationship between different 24 hour activity behaviors and body composition indicators. The isotemporal substitution model was adopted to examine the quantitative effects of substituting 10 or 20 minutes among activity behaviors on body composition.
Results:
In girls, sedentary behavior (SB) time was negatively correlated with fat free mass (FFM) ( β =-4.81); in boys, moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA) time was positively correlated with FFM ( β =7.01), while light physical activity (LPA) time was negatively correlated with FFM ( β =-9.26) and positively correlated with body fat percentage (FAT%) ( β =0.09) (all P <0.01). Isocaloric substitution analysis revealed that replacing the same duration of MVPA with SB, sleep (SL), or LPA for 10 or 20 minutes produced significantly greater adverse effects compared to the beneficial effects of MVPA substitution. Replacing MVPA with LPA for 10 minutes resulted in 1.01% increase in FAT% and 0.91% decrease in reverse substitution for boys; replacing MVPA with SB or SL for 10 minutes resulted in a decrease of 1.10 kg and 1.16 kg in FFM for boys, 0.81 kg and 0.74 kg for girls, and reverse substitution increased by 0.92 and 0.97 kg, 0.65 and 0.58 kg, respectively (all P < 0.05 ). When LPA, SB or SL were replaced with MVPA for 20 minutes, the trend of change were basically consistent (all P <0.05).
Conclusions
Activity behaviors of 24 hour are associated with body composition among primary and secondary school students. MVPA is the primary influential component.

OBJECTIVE:
To explore effectiveness of TiRobot-assisted screw implantation in the treatment of coracoid process fractures of the scapula.
METHODS:
A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data from 24 patients with coracoid process fractures of the scapula admitted between September 2019 and January 2024 and met selection criteria. Among them, 12 patients underwent TiRobot-assisted screw implantation (robot group) and 12 underwent manual screw implantation (control group) during internal fixation. There was no significant difference ( P>0.05) in baseline data such as gender, age, body mass index, disease duration, cause of injury, coracoid process fracture classification, and proportion of patients with associated injuries between the two groups. The incision length, operation time, intraoperative blood loss, hospital stay, accuracy of screw placement, coracoid process fracture healing time, and complications were recorded and compared, as well as pain visual analogue scale (VAS) score, and Constant-Murley score at last follow-up.
RESULTS:
The intraoperative blood loss and incision length in the robot group were significantly lower than those in the control group ( P<0.05); however, there was no significant difference in operation time and hospital stay between the two groups ( P>0.05). All patients were followed up 8-27 months (mean, 17.5 months), and the difference in follow-up time between the two groups was not significant ( P>0.05). At last follow-up, the VAS score for shoulder pain in the robot group was signifncatly lower compared to the control group, and the Constant-Murley score was significantly higher ( P<0.05). In the robot group, 16 screws were implanted intraoperatively, while 13 screws were implanted in the control group. Radiographic re-evaluation showed that the excellent and good rate of screw implantation was higher in the robot group (93.8%, 15/16) than in the control group (61.5%, 8/13), but the difference in the precision of screw implantation between the two groups was not significant ( P>0.05). Four patients in the robot group and 1 in the control group achieved double screws fixation; however, the difference in achieving double screws fixation between the two groups was not significant ( P>0.05). All fractures healed in both groups with 1 case of malunion in the control group. There was no significant difference in healing time between the two groups ( P>0.05). During follow-up, 1 patient in the control group experienced screw loosening and displacement. There was no significant difference in the incidence of screw loosening and fracture malunion between the two groups ( P>0.05).
CONCLUSION
Compared with manual screw implantation, TiRobot-assisted minimally invasive treatment of coracoid process fractures of the scapula can reduce intraoperative blood loss, shorten incision length, alleviate pain, and obtain better promote shoulder joint functional recovery.

The assessment results from 2006 to 2008 were tested for outliers using Grubbs method, homogeneity of variance using Cochran method, excluding the assessment data of unqualified laboratories, calculating the total mean and total standard deviation, Z-score method was used to test the assessment of laboratories, and statistical analysis and judgment were done when the result of │Z│ < 3. The assessment results from 2009 - 2023 were obtained from all laboratories. In 2010, two tests were conducted in the first and second half of the year, and the Z-ratio scores of each laboratory were calculated using robust statistics. When │Z│≤2, the assessment was qualified; when 2 < │Z│ < 3, the assessment was basically qualified; when│Z│≥3, the assessment was unqualified, and the consensus value came from all participating laboratories in the assessment. Results:From the beginning of quality control operation in 2006 to 2023, the number of laboratories participated in external quality control assessments had significantly increased. The number of laboratories participated in water fluoride assessment increased from 30 in 2006 to 1 277 in 2023, and the number of laboratories participated in urine fluoride assessment increased from 29 to 497. The number of laboratories participated in the brick tea fluorine assessment had increased from 43 in 2014 to 193 in 2023. The assessment results showed that when │Z│ < 3, the total qualified rate of fluoride external quality control in fluoride testing laboratories of national endemic disease control institutions was 95.2%, with the lowest being 87.1% (27/31) in 2008 and the highest being 100.0% (394/394) in 2014. When │Z│≤2, the total feedback pass rate was 88.4%, with the lowest being 79.3% (288/363) in the first half of 2010 and the highest being 99.5% (392/394) in 2014. The assessment results showed that when │Z│ < 3, the total pass rate of urine fluoride external quality control in fluoride testing laboratories of national endemic disease control institutions was 98.0%, with the lowest being 86.2% (25/29) in 2006 and 2007, respectively, and the highest being 100.0% (68/68) in 2014. When │Z│≤2, the total qualification rate was 93.7%, with the lowest being 86.5% (64/74) in the second half of 2010 and the highest being 100.0% (68/68) in 2014. The assessment results showed that when│Z│ < 3, the total pass rate of extra-fluoride quality control of brick tea in fluoride testing laboratories of national endemic disease control institutions was 95.4%, with the lowest being 85.0% (164/193) in 2023, and the highest being 100.0% (43/43, 51/51, 79/79) in 2014, 2015 and 2016, respectively. When │Z│≤2, the total pass rate was 89.2%, with the lowest being 72.7% (32/44) in 2017 and the highest being 100.0% (43/43) in 2014. From 2009 to 2023, there were a total of 21 provincial-level laboratories that passed the water fluoride detection assessment, including 3 provinces where all prefecture level and county-level laboratories were qualified. The assessment results of urinary fluorine showed that there were 11 qualified provincial-level laboratories and 1 prefecture-level laboratory. From 2014 to 2023, the assessment results of brick-tea fluorine showed that there were 5 provincial-level laboratories that passed the tea fluorine testing assessment and no prefecture-level laboratory. Conclusions:Conclusion: From 2006 to 2023, the number of fluoride testing laboratories participating in external quality control assessment has increased year by year, and most provincial, municipal and county-level laboratories have good fluoride testing capabilities, which can meet the testing needs of endemic disease prevention and monitoring. For some laboratories with problems, targeted rectification should be carried out to improve the quality of detection, in order to provide better technical support for the monitoring of endemic fluorosis areas.

Background::Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a type of highly invasive breast cancer with a poor prognosis. According to new research, long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) play a significant role in the progression of cancer. Although the role of lncRNAs in breast cancer has been well reported, few studies have focused on TNBC. This study aimed to explore the biological function and clinical significance of forkhead box C1 promoter upstream transcript (FOXCUT) in triple-negative breast cancer.Methods::Based on a bioinformatic analysis of the cancer genome atlas (TCGA) database, we detected that the lncRNA FOXCUT was overexpressed in TNBC tissues, which was further validated in an external cohort of tissues from the General Surgery Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University. The functions of FOXCUT in proliferation, migration, and invasion were detected in vitro or in vivo. Luciferase assays and RNA immunoprecipitation (RIP) were performed to reveal that FOXCUT acted as a competitive endogenous RNA (ceRNA) for the microRNA miR-24-3p and consequently inhibited the degradation of p38. Results::lncRNA FOXCUT was markedly highly expressed in breast cancer, which was associated with poor prognosis in some cases. Knockdown of FOXCUT significantly inhibited cancer growth and metastasis in vitro or in vivo. Mechanistically, FOXCUT competitively bounded to miR-24-3p to prevent the degradation of p38, which might act as an oncogene in breast cancer. Conclusion::Collectively, this research revealed a novel FOXCUT/miR-24-3p/p38 axis that affected breast cancer progression and suggested that the lncRNA FOXCUT could be a diagnostic marker and therapeutic target for breast cancer.

Objective:To investigate the short-term efficacy of the intelligent robot-assisted fracture reduction system (RAFR) in the treatment of Tile-type C1-2 pelvic fractures. Methods:A retrospective study was conducted to analyze the clinical data of the 15 patients who had been treated for Tile-type C pelvic fractures at Department of Orthopedic Trauma, Foshan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine between June 2022 and November 2023. The cohort were 7 males and 8 females, with an age of (51.6±22.1) years and a body mass index of (22.35±2.14) kg/m 2. According to the Tile classification, there were 9 cases of type C1 and 6 cases of type C2. The interval from injury to surgery was (11.3±3.9) days. Minimally invasive closed reduction and internal fixation of pelvic fractures were performed with the assistance of RAFR system. The anterior pelvic ring was fixed with percutaneous hollow screws from the pubic branch, and the posterior pelvic ring fixed with percutaneous hollow screws from the sacroiliac joint. If necessary, external fixation brackets and internal stent fixation technique for the anterior pelvic ring were used to enhance the stability of the pelvic ring. The frequency and time of intraoperative fluoroscopy, reduction time, surgical time, intraoperative bleeding volume, fracture reduction quality, follow-up time, fracture healing time, pelvic function recovery at the last follow-up, and incidence of complications were recorded. Results:With the assistance of RAFR system, 15 patients were all successfully treated with minimally invasive closed reduction and internal fixation for pelvic fractures. For this cohort, intraoperative fluoroscopy frequency was 31 (20, 55) times, fluoroscopy time 25.8 (18.0, 33.0) seconds, reduction time (57.7±3.5) minutes, surgical time 205 (200, 210) minutes, intraoperative bleeding volume 100 (100, 200) mL, and residual displacement (7.55±3.51) mm. According to the Matta scoring, the postoperative quality of fracture reduction was evaluated as excellent in 4 cases, as good in 8 cases, and as fair in 3 cases. Fourteen patients were followed up for 15.0 (10.8, 18.0) months after surgery, and 1 patient was lost to the follow-up. The fracture healing time for the 14 patients was 3.6 (3.2, 4.7) months. The Majeed functional score at the last follow-up was (83.4±6.4) points, giving 4 excellent and 10 good cases. Conclusion:The RAFR system can facilitate precise and minimally invasive closed reduction for the majority of patients with Tile-type C1-2 pelvic fracture, achieving satisfactory fracture reduction quality and short-term efficacy.
