Objective This study conducted molecular biological identification of the viruses carried by Culex pipiens pallens specimens collected in Shunyi District, Beijing in 2023, and observed the changes in the infection rate of the viruses carried by Cx. pipiens pallens at different collection times. Methods Cx. pipiens pallens were collected using carbon dioxide mosquito traps. The mosquito samples were ground in batches and analyzed by molecular biology technologies. The virus infection rate at different collection times was analyzed statistically. Results 17 strains of Culex pipiens pallens densovirus(CppDNV)were identified from Cx. pipiens pallens samples collected in Shunyi District, Beijing, in 2023. The nucleotide sequence analysis of the virus genome coding region showed that CppDNV was a single-stranded DNA virus with a total length of 3 335 nt, encoding 2 non-structural proteins(NS1, NS2)and 1 capsid protein(VP). The nucleotide(amino acid)sequence lengths of the three proteins were 2 376 nt(791 aa),1 092 nt(363 aa)and 1 071 nt(356 aa), respectively. Phylogenetic analysis showed that CppDNV was located in genus Brevihamaparvovirus. Statistical analysis showed no significant difference in infection rates across collection times(χ2=4.429, P=0.194). Conclusions CppDNV was identified in Cx. pipiens pallens in Beijing, and it was stably maintained in this natural population.

Objective To investigate the species composition of mosquitoes and breeding conditions of larvae in the rice planting areas of Beijing, and to provide a scientific basis for mosquito control in rice fields. Methods Adult mosquitoes were collected using CO2-baited light traps, and mosquito larvae(including pupae)were sampled via the dipping method. Results A total of 4 genera and 6 species of adult mosquitoes were captured in the study area. The dominant species were Culex pipiens pallens, Cx. tritaeniorhynchus, and Anopheles sinensis. The average adult mosquito density was 5.11 specimens per trap-hour, with slightly lower density in July compared to August. For larvae and pupae,3 genera and 4 species were identified, dominated by Cx. tritaeniorhynchus, An. sinensis, and Aedes vexans. Conclusions The mosquito species composition in Beijing′s rice planting areas is diverse. Mosquito control strategies should prioritize the management of adult mosquitoes, while density control of mosquito larvae in paddy fields can be achieved through intermittent irrigation techniques.

Methods:
The clinical data of 26 patients diagnosed with irreducible atlantoaxial dislocation complicated by atlantodental bony obstruction were analyzed retrospectively. All patients underwent anterior retropharyngeal atlantodentoplasty, followed by posterior occipitocervical fusion. Details including surgical duration and blood loss volume were recorded. Radiographic data such as the anterior atlantodental interval, O–C2 angle, space available for the cord, clivus–canal angle, and cervical medullary angle, and clinical data including the Japanese Orthopedic Association (JOA) score were assessed. The fusion time of the grafted bone and the development of complications were examined.
Results:
In patients undergoing anterior retropharyngeal atlantodentoplasty, the surgical duration and blood loss volume were 120.1±16.4 minutes and 100.6±33.5 mL, respectively. The anterior atlantodental interval decreased significantly after the surgery (p <0.001). The O–C2 angle, space available for the cord, clivus–canal angle, and cervical medullary angle increased significantly after the surgery (p <0.001). The JOA score during the latest follow-up significantly increased compared with that before the surgery (p <0.001). The improvement rate of the JOA score was 80.8%±18.1%. The fusion time of the grafted bone was 3–8 months, with an average of 5.7±1.5 months. In total, 11 patients presented with postoperative dysphagia and three with irritating cough. However, none of them exhibited other major complications.
Conclusions
Anterior retropharyngeal atlantodentoplasty can anatomically reduce the atlantoaxial joint with a satisfactory clinical outcome in patients with irreducible atlantoaxial dislocation with atlantodental bony obstruction.

Objective:To explore the potential profiles of health literacy in patients with chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) and analyze their influencing factors. Methods:A cross-sectional study was conducted to select CAG patients admitted to Nanjing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine or attending outpatient clinics from January 2023 to June 2024 by convenience sampling method, and all patients participated in this study two months after treatment. The General Information Questionnaire, the General Self-Efficacy Scale, and the All-around Health Literacy Measurement Scale (AAHLS) were used to conduct the questionnaire survey. The three dimensions of AAHLS were used as exogenous indicators for potential profile analysis, to compare the differences in general information and self-efficacy of patients with different potential profiles, and to analyze the influencing factors of different potential profiles of health literacy in CAG patients by multi classification Logistic regression. Results:The recovery rate of valid questionnaires was 97.71%(256/262). Among the 256 patients, there were 164 males and 92 females, with 86 patients aged 18-44 years old, 110 patients aged 45-59 years old, and 60 patients aged ≥ 60 years old. The health literacy of CAG patients was categorized into 3 potential profiles, including the high health literacy-appraisal and application competence group (14.84%, 38/256), the medium health literacy-appraisal and application competence group (32.81%, 84/256), and the low health literacy-appraisal and application competence group (52.34%, 134/256). The results of multi classification Logistic regression analysis showed that when the low health literacy-appraisal and application competence group was used as a reference, aged 18-44 years old ( OR=8.954, 95% CI 2.049-39.127), poor self-efficacy ( OR=0.089, 95% CI 0.027-0.293), duration of disease <5 years ( OR=0.049, 95% CI 0.014-0.169), per capita monthly household income<3 000 yuan ( OR=0.072, 95% CI 0.018-0.299), and primary school education or below ( OR=0.016, 95% CI 0.003-0.088) were independent influences in the the high health literacy-appraisal and application competence group (all P<0.05); poorer self-efficacy ( OR=0.458, 95% CI 0.251-0.834) and per capita monthly household income<3 000 yuan ( OR=0.212, 95% CI 0.100-0.453) were independent influences in the medium health literacy-appraisal and application competence group (both P<0.05). Conclusions:The health literacy of CAG patients is obviously heterogeneous, and healthcare professionals in clinical work should adopt targeted assessment and intervention according to the different characteristics of each category in order to improve the health literacy of CAG patients.
