ObjectiveTo analyze the infection status of main respiratory pathogens in influenza-like illness (ILI) cases in Anji County, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, and to provide a reference for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of respiratory infections. MethodsThroat swab samples were collected from 520 ILI cases in an influenza sentinel surveillance hospital in Anji County of Zhejiang Province from December 2023 to November 2024. Multiplex real-time fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction (mRT-PCR) was used to detect 18 pathogens and their subtypes, including severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), influenza A virus (Flu A), influenza A (H1N1) virus, influenza A (H3N2) virus, influenza B virus (Flu B), influenza B virus Victoria lineage (BV), influenza B virus Yamagata lineage (BY), coronavirus (CoV), human parainfluenza virus (HPIV), respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), human metapneumovirus (HMPV), adenovirus (ADV), human bocavirus (HBoV), enterovirus (EV), rhinovirus (RV), Mycoplasma pneumoniae (MP), Chlamydia pneumoniae (CP), and Streptococcus pneumoniae (SP). ResultsThe overall positivity rate of pathogens in 520 samples was 33.65%, among which the detection rates of Flu (9.14%), ADV (7.50%), SARS-CoV-2 (6.15%), and EV (3.65%) were relatively high. There were statistically significant differences in the overall positivity rate of pathogens by age and season (all P<0.05). The highest overall positivity rate was observed in the 5‒14 years old group (42.77%), and the overall positivity rate in winter (53.08%) was significantly higher than that in other seasons. ConclusionFrom 2023 to 2024, the main respiratory pathogens detected in ILI cases in Anji County were Flu, ADV, SARS-CoV-2, and EV. The epidemic characteristics showed age and seasonal specificity, so it is necessary to strengthen prevention and control for high-risk populations and epidemic seasons in a targeted manner.

Objective To describe the epidemiological characteristics and the control effect of hypertension in Liaoning area. Methods 8 452 Residents aged 15 and above 7 districts,Liaoning province, were selected with the multistage clustering sampling in 2002.Trained staff conducted the investigation on their economic status, gender, occupation, education, marriage, smoking, drinking, occupational physical activities and so on.Blood pressure, height, weight and waist circumstance were also measured. Results The blood pressure of all subjects was(126?22)/(79?12)mm Hg,with(127?11)/(80?11) mm Hg in urban residents and(125?21)/(78?12) mm Hg in rural residents,while(128?21)/(80?12)mm Hg in male and(125?23)/(78?11)mm Hg in female. The general prevalence of hypertension was 29.4%,and the general standardized rate of hypertension was 22.5%.The prevalent rate in city(32.3%) was higher than that in city(25.4%)(P

OBJECTIVE To study the antimicrobial sensitivity of pathogens isolated from diabetic foot patients. METHODS Totally 102 diabetic foot patients were enrolled from Jun 2000 to Dec 2007 in our hospital.Specimens such as pus and wound exudate were collected for culture.Pathogenic spectrum and antimicrobial sensitivities were investigated. RESULTS From 70 cases 109 strains of pathogenic bacteria were isolated,of which 61 were Gram-positive bacteria,43 Gram-negative bacteria and 5 fungi.Thirty-seven patients were with single microbial infection and 33 patients with polymicrobial infection and 28 of 33 patients were with Wagner′s grade 3 and upwards.According to susceptibility test,multi-drug resistance was found.Gram-negative bacteria were sensitive to imipenem and ?-lactamases inhibitor, and Gram-positive bacteria were sensitive to vancomycin, chloramphenicol, and cephalosporin. CONCLUSIONS The pathogenic bacteria in diabetic foot infection distribute extensively and some of them are multi-drug resistant. The key to the treatment of diabetic foot infection is early combination application of sensitive antimicrobial agents.

Peripheral blood CD_5~+B cell was detected by flow cytometry in patients with Graves′ disease (GD) before and after treatment. As compared with normal controls, peripheral blood CD_5~+B cells in a group of 43 patients with GD showed a significant increase in number [(17.0+5.1)% vs (39.5+12.4)%, P
