The paper introduces Professor LIU Xing's clinical experience and characteristics of integrative acupuncture and medication in treatment of primary trigeminal neuralgia (PTN). It is believed that the essential pathogenesis of PTN is pathogenic wind, and qi and blood obstruction results from invasion of pathogenic wind. Hence, dispelling wind is the key principle of treatment. Palpation is done at first in the neck, face and buccal mucosal region to detect the masses in treatment. Acupotomy is operated at the masses distributed at Shangguan (GB3), Xiaguan (ST7) and the white line of buccal mucosa, so as to release masses. Additionally, five-wind points (Fengfu [GV16], bilateral Fengchi [GB20], Yifeng [TE17], Bingfeng [SI12] and Fengmen [BL12]), three-nape points (bilateral Naokong [GB19], Tianzhu [BL10] and Jianjing [GB21]) and three-governor-vessel points (Baihui [GV20], Zhiyang [GV9] and Yintang [GV24+]) are selected to dispel wind and stop pain. Besides, herbal decoction (wu feng tang) and blood-letting at ear apex are administered in combination. The integration of acupuncture and medication obtains a holistic effect on PTN by dispelling wind pathogen, and promoting qi and blood circulation.

The precise and rapid monitoring of multiple organ dysfunction is crucial in drug discovery. Traditional methods, such as pathological analysis, are often time-consuming and inefficient. Here, we developed a multiplexed near-infrared window two (NIR-II) fluorescent bioimaging method that allows for real-time, rapid, and quantitative assessment of multiple organ dysfunctions. Given that existing probes did not fully meet requirements, we synthesized a range of NIR-II hemicyanine dyes (HDs) with varying absorption and emission wavelengths. By modifying these dyes, we achieved high spatial and temporal resolution imaging of the liver, kidneys, stomach, and intestines. This method was further applied to investigate disorders induced by cisplatin, a drug known to cause gastric emptying issues along with liver and kidney injuries. By monitoring the metabolic rate of the dyes in these organs, we accurately quantified multi-organ dysfunction, which was also confirmed by gold-standard pathological analysis. Additionally, we evaluated the effects of five aristolochic acids (AAs) on multiple organ dysfunction. For the first time, we identified that AA-I and AA-II could cause gastric emptying disorders, which was further validated through transcriptomics analysis. Our study introduces a novel approach for the simultaneous monitoring of multi-organ dysfunction, which may significantly enhance the evaluation of drug side effects.

Abstract
In recent years, the prevalence of overweight and obesity among children and adolescents has risen rapidly, posing a serious threat to their physical and mental health. To provide scientific, systematic, and standardized weight management guidance for overweight and obese children and adolescents, the study focuses on the core concept of healthy lifestyle intervention, integrates multidisciplinary expert opinions and research findings, and proposes a comprehensive multidisciplinary intervention framework covering scientific exercise intervention, precise nutrition and diet, optimized sleep management, and standardized psychological support. It calls for the establishment of a multi agent collaborative management mechanism led by the government, implemented by families, fostered by schools, initiated by individuals, optimized by communities, reinforced by healthcare, and coordinated by multiple stakeholders. Emphasizing a child and adolescent centered approach, the consensus advocates for comprehensive, multi level, and personalized guidance strategies to promote the internalization and maintenance of a healthy lifestyle. It serves as a reference and provides recommendations for the effective prevention and control of overweight and obesity, and enhancing the health level of children and adolescents.

Objective To analyze the influencing factors of delirium after endovascular aortic repair, and to provide a basis for clinical nursing and prevention of this condition. Methods Patients who underwent endovascular aortic repair at Fuwai Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences from 2018 to 2019 were selected. The Chinese version of the Nursing Delirium Screening Scale (Nu-DESC) was used to assess whether postoperative delirium occurred. Patients with a Nu-DESC score≥ 3 were assigned to the delirium group. Non-delirium patients who had the same surgeon and adjacent surgical order were selected at a 1 : 4 ratio to form the non-delirium group. Univariate analysis was performed on the clinical data of the two groups. Factors with P<0.1 in the univariate analysis and those considered clinically significant were included in a multivariate logistic regression analysis to identify the influencing factors of postoperative delirium. Stratified analysis was conducted based on thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) and endovascular abdominal aortic repair (EVAR). Results A total of 213 patients were included, comprising 46 in the delirium group and 167 in the non-delirium group. The overall mean age was (60.3±12.0) years, and 183 (85.9%) were male. Univariate analysis showed that emergency admission, preoperative neutrophil percentage, aortic dissection, surgical duration, intubation time, and ICU stay may be associated with postoperative delirium. Multivariate analysis revealed that longer operative and intubation times were associated with a higher likelihood of delirium. In the stratified analysis, the results for the TEVAR group were consistent with the overall findings, whereas no significant differences were observed in the EVAR group. Conclusion Longer surgical and intubation times are associated with an increased risk of delirium in patients undergoing TEVAR. No significant factors influencing delirium are identified in patients undergoing EVAR.
