Objective:By using cognitive interviews, the interviewees' cognition and understanding of the inflammatory bowel disease(IBD) self-efficacy scale for adolescents and young adults (IBDSES-A) were evaluated, and the semantic content of IBDSES-A,which was initially translated into Chinese, was tested and revised. Methods:Using purposive sampling,15 IBD patients aged 12-18 were selected from Beijing Children's Hospital,Capital Medical University, between January and February 2025,stratified by age group and disease type. Two rounds of cognitive interviews were conducted.Feedback and suggestions from interviewees were analyzed using a question appraisal system for coding and integration.Based on expert panel discussions, ambiguous items were revised to finalize the Chinese version of the IBDSES-A.Results:In the first round,10 interviewees were interviewed, followed by 5 interviewees in the second round. There were no statistically significant differences ( P>0.05) between the interviewees of two rounds in terms of age, gender, and education level.During the first round of interview, interviewees expressed comprehension difficulties with 76.9% (10/13) of the items.Coding analysis revealed that the primary issue was "clarification",as unclear wording made it difficult for interviewees to fully grasp the intended meaning of certain items.Based on these findings, the expert panel revised 10 of the 13 items in the IBDSES-A.The second round of cognitive interview showed that the interviewees generally understood the revised items, achieving linguistic and semantic consistency with the original scale. Conclusion:The application of cognitive interviews in the translation process of the IBDSES-A helps reduce comprehension biases caused by inappropriate wording, ensuring that the localized version of the scale is more accessible and understandable to the target population.

To explore the immunomodulatory effects of a new vegetable oil adjuvant(named E515)containing vitamin E(VE)and ginsenosides(GS)on rabbit peripheral blood lymphocytes and Bordetella of rabbit inactivated vaccine.E515,Bordetella bronchiseptica(Bb)and LPS were co-cultured with rabbit peripheral blood lymphocytes in vitro, and the lymphocyte conversion rate was detected by CCK8 method, and the content of lymphocyte supernatant cytokines was detected by ELISA method. After rabbits were immunized with E515-Bb vaccine, the antibody level was detec-ted by indirect ELISA,the serum cytokine content was detected by ELISA,and the protective effect of E515-Bb vaccine on rabbits was observed by challenge test.In vitro cell experiments showed that E515 could significantly increase lymphocyte proliferation and TH1/TH2 cytokine se-cretion in rabbit peripheral blood. In vivo animal experiments showed that E515 adjuvant could sig-nificantly enhance the level of Bb specific antibody induced by Bordetella vaccine in rabbits.In-crease the secretion level of TH1/TH2 cytokines and decrease the secretion level of TNF-α;It can effectively protect rabbits against Bordetella infection with a protection rate of 91.67%.Therefore,E515 as a new vegetable oil adjuvant deserves further study.

Objective To analyse medication patterns for treating menstrual disorders with disharmony between the Chong and Ren pattern based on data mining. Methods Medical records from the gynecological outpatient department of Wenzhou TCM Hospital of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University from October 2023 to March 2024 were collected.A database was established based on Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Computer System(V3.0),and data mining methods such as frequency statistics, association rule analysis and cluster analysis were used to analyze the medication patterns of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of menstrual disorders with disharmony between the Chong and Ren pattern. Results A total of 9003 effective prescriptions were collected, involving 410 Chinese medicinal herbs. The top five herbs by frequency were Danggui,Tusizi,Cuxiangfu,Xuduan, and Danshen.Tonic medicines, circulate blood and transform stasis medicines and interior heat-clearing medicines were used more frequently. The four qi were mainly warm and cold, the five lavours were mainly bitter and sweet, and the channel were mainly liver and spleen channel.By association analysis,a combination of drugs with Tusizi,Gouqizi,Danggui,Xuduan,Cuxiangfu were obtained. After cluster analysis, five groups of effective class squares were obtained. Conclusion Treatment of menstrual disorders with disharmony between the Chong and Ren pattern is used to tonic medicines, circulate blood and transform stasis medicines and interior heat-clearing medicines, pay attention to the balance of liver, spleen, kidney. The prescribing strategy considers both superficial and underlying conditions, employs a gradual rather than abrupt approach, integrates both cold and warm remedies, and ensures mutual reinforcement and restriction among the treatments.

Objective The aim of this study is to investigate the plaque characteristics of different subtypes of middle cerebral artery(MCA)infarction, lenticulostriate artery(LSA)characteristics, and hemodynamic characteristics through high-resolution magnetic resonance vessel wall imaging(HR-MRI VWI)and perfusion weighted imaging(PWI).Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on patients with unilateral acute or subacute MCA infarction who underwent HR-MRI VWI and PWI examinations at Qinhuangdao First Hospital from January 2022 to April 2024.Patients were divided into three groups according to the type of infarction:artery-to-artery embolism(AA),branch occlusive disease(BOD),branch occlusive disease and artery-to-artery embolism(BOD-AA).Clinical data, plaque characteristics, lenticulostriate artery characteristics, and hemodynamic characteristics were compared and analyzed among the three groups. To determine factors associated with BOD,the BOD and BOD-AA groups were merged into a BOD+group which was then compared with the AA group. To determine factors associated with the AA group, the BOD-AA and AA groups were combined into an AA+group, followed by comparison with the BOD group. Results A total of 42 patients with unilateral acute or subacute MCA infarction were included according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria.Among them,9 patients were classified as having AA,14 patients as having BOD,and 19 as having BOD-AA.The results showed that the degree of stenosis was higher in the AA+group than in the BOD group, and the difference was statistically significant(Z=-2.536,P<0.05);The number of LSA on the affected side was higher in the BOD+group than in the AA group[2.00(1.50,3.00)vs.3.00(3.00,4.00)],and the difference was statistically significant(Z=-2.889,P<0.05);The relative cerebral blood flow(rCBF)of the centrum semiovale was lower in the AA+group than in the BOD group[0.90(0.84,0.93)vs.0.99(0.97,1.03)],and the difference was statistically significant(Z=-4.555,P<0.05);The rCBF in the basal ganglia was lower in the BOD+group than in the AA group[0.89(0.83,0.93)vs.1.01(0.98,1.04)],and the difference was statistically significant(Z=-4.280,P<0.05).Conclusion Patients in BOD+have a lower degree of stenosis compared to AA group. The spatial relationship between plaques and LSA varies across different subtypes of MCA infarction.Plaques in BOD+patients are positioned closer to the LSA orifice and thus have a higher tendency to occlude the LSA orifice. The affected side has few LSAs and the rCBF in the LSA perfusion area.is lower.

Infectious diseases continue to pose a threat to global public health. Successive global shocks caused by emerging and re-emerging pathogens have continuously challenged existing surveillance systems, highlighting the urgent need to build efficient and precise pathogen surveillance networks. Pathogen genomic databases have been developed rapidly in recent two decades, significantly improving the molecular identification, evolutionary analysis, and transmission tracking of pathogens, and changing disease surveillance strategies and patterns. This paper summarizes the developmental history and current state of pathogen genomic databases, and discusses their applications in public health, including pathogen variation surveillance, emerging or suspected pathogen identification, and epidemiological tracing. Furthermore, this paper systematically analyzes the limitations and key challenges faced by current global health prevention and control system, and suggests the focus of the development of online pathogen databases to address existing shortcomings, ultimately improve global infectious disease surveillance and early warning
