ObjectiveTo investigate the non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) behaviors in adolescents with depressive disorder, analyze related influencing factors, and provide theoretical basis and reference for the prevention and treatment of NSSI. MethodsAccording to DSM-5 criteria, 95 depressive adolescents were divided into two groups: one with NSSI (NSSI group) and one without NSSI (nNSSI group). All patients were assessed with Adolescent Non-suicidal Self-injury Assessment Questionnaire (ANSAQ), Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS), Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire (SCSQ), Experiences in Close Relationships-Relationship Structures Scale (ECR-RS), and Childhood Trauma Questionnaire-Short Form (CTQ-SF). The inter-group differences were compared. The influencing factors of NSSI were analyzed by using binary logistic regression. ResultsOf the 95 depressive adolescents, 59 cases of NSSI were identified, with a detection rate of 62.11%. NSSI group had higher scores than nNSSI group on SDS, SAS, negative coping style, paternal attachment anxiety, maternal attachment anxiety and avoidance, CTQ-SF total score, emotional neglect, physical neglect, emotional abuse, and sexual abuse (all P<0.05). Binary logistic regression analysis showed that anxiety, negative coping style, maternal attachment avoidance and emotional abuse increased the risk of NSSI among adolescents with depressive disorders (all P< 0.05). ConclusionsAdolescents with depression have a high incidence of NSSI behaviors, which is related to anxiety, negative coping style, maternal attachment avoidance and emotional abuse. In addition to improving patients' depression and anxiety in clinical setting, attention should also be paid to patients' coping styles, parent-child relationship and childhood trauma to reduce the occurrence of NSSI behaviors.

Objective To understand the equity and influencing factors of maternal health service utilization in Changning District, Shanghai. Methods A convenience sampling method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey among mothers of children aged 1 to 1.5 years old who received health services from the child health care clinics and EPI clinics of 10 community health service centers in Changning District, Shanghai from March to April 2022. Count data was expressed by frequency and percentage. Chi-square analysis, binomial logistic regression analysis, and multivariate logistic regression analysis were used to analyze fairness-related factors. Rate difference, rate ratio and concentration index were used to represent fairness. Results A total of 696 subjects were investigated, with an average age of (33.35±4.76) years. There were statistically significant differences in service utilization among women with different household registrations only in early pregnancy registration (χ2=11.026, P=0.001) and postpartum visits (χ2=4.989, P=0.026). Women with a career showed differently in folic acid supplement (χ2=6.247, P=0.012), early pregnancy registration (χ2=12.989, P=0.002), physical examination in 42 days postpartum (χ2=4.446, P=0.035) and postpartum contraception (χ2=4.061, P=0.044), and the differences were statistically significant. Women with different monthly family income had a statistically significant difference in pre-pregnancy examination (χ2=8.977, P=0.030) and postpartum visit (χ2=16.114, P=0.001). There was a statistically significant difference between women with maternity insurance or not in the early pregnancy registration (χ2=10.576, P=0.001) and physical examination in 42 days postpartum (χ2=8.166, P=0.004). The results of the multivariate analysis showed that occupation (OR=2.616, 95% CI: 1.142-5.990) and maternity insurance (OR=4.490, 95% CI: 1.992~10.120) affected the utilization of service in early pregnancy registration. The monthly household income (OR=0.278, 95% CI: 0.124-0.625) affected the utilization of services in postpartum visit. At the same time, the monthly household income (10,000-19,999: OR=0.286, 95% CI: 0.090-0.907; ≥30,000: OR=0.180, 95% CI: 0.041-0.801) also affected the utilization of service in physical examination in 42 days postpartum. Conclusion The equity of maternal health care service utilization overall is good in central area in Shanghai, but there is still room for improvement. It is necessary to strengthen community mobilization, propagandize maternal health services, and expand the coverage of maternity insurance to improve the equity of maternal health service utilization and provide equal access to maternity health services.

AIM: To compare the efficacy of intravitreal injection of ranibizumab(IVR)and intravitreal injection of conbercept(IVC)in children with retinopathy of prematurity(ROP).METHODS: Retrospective study. A total of 1 100 eyes with ROP treated with intravitreal anti-VEGF at our hospital from January 2015 to June 2023 were included. According to the different therapeutic drugs, the children were divided into two groups: IVR group and IVC group. According to the degree of ROP, the patients were divided into three groups: aggressive ROP(A-ROP), Zone Ⅰ type 1 ROP and Zone Ⅱ type 1 ROP. The reactivation and retreatment between the two groups were compared after propensity score matching(PSM)analysis, and they were followed-up for at least 3 mo after surgery.RESULTS: In Zone Ⅱ type 1 ROP, there was a statistically significant difference in the rates of reactivation and retreatment between the IVR and IVC groups(P<0.05); however, in A-ROP and Zone I type 1 ROP, there were no statistically significant differences in the rates of reactivation and retreatment between the two groups(P>0.05). The risk of reactivation and retreatment of Zone I type 1 ROP was higher than the Zone II type 1 ROP. Furthermore, the use of drugs and corrected gestational age of first treatment were influencing factors of lesion recurrence and retreatment.CONCLUSION: There is a significant difference in the initial cure effect between the two drugs in Zone II type 1 ROP, with the reactivation and retreatment rates of the IVC group being much lower than those of the IVR group.

Objective:To analyze the time of recovery to the respiratory baseline after treatment of retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) and the possible influencing factors. Methods:The preterm infants with ROP who received ophthalmic treatment from January 2016 to December 2020 in the Department of Neonatology, Guangdong Women and Children′s Hospital were enrolled retrospectively. The baby who received vitreous injection were included in the injection group, and who received laser photocoagulation were included in the photocoagulation group. The patients were divided into two groups according to whether they returned to the respiratory baseline within 48 hours after ROP surgery.Relevant data were collected, including respiratory baseline, the respiratory status 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours, 96 hours, 5 days and 7 days after treatment, gestational age, birth weight, gender, corrected gestational age at surgery, weight at surgery, laser points, and treatment location.Wilcoxon signed-rank test was used for continuous variables. Data were expressed as the number and percentage of patients for categorical variables, using Chi-square test or Fisher′ s exact test. Binary Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors. The time taken by preterm infants to return to the preoperative respiratory baseline after treatment and its influencing factors were analyzed. Results:A total of 386 ROP infants were included in this study. There were 157 infants who did not return to the respiratory baseline within 48 hours after treatment. No significant difference in the source, gender, gestational age, birth weight, corrected gestational age at surgery, weight at surgery, and respiratory pressure support required before surgery were found between the group who returned to the respiratory baseline within 48 hours and the group who did not (all P>0.05). However, there were significant differences in treatment methods and location between two groups (all P<0.01). The ratio of returning to the respiratory baseline in the group receiving intravitreal injection was significantly different from that in the group treated with laser therapy at 24 h, 48 h, 72 h, and 96 h after treatment (77% vs.14%, 82% vs.33%, 86% vs.58%, 89% vs.76%; all P<0.01). There was no difference in that ratio between two groups at 5 d and 7 d after treatment (91% vs.86%, 95% vs.92%; P>0.05). Of the 157 infants who did not return to the respiratory baseline within 48 hours after treatment, 108 cases (68.8%) required additional supplemental oxygen, whereas 153 cases (98.5%) required more intensive respiratory support ( P<0.001). According to the multivariate Logistic regression analysis results, the preterm infants who received laser therapy were less likely to return to the respiratory baseline within 48 hours than those who received intravitreal injection ( OR=0.099, 95% CI: 0.060-0.164). A small corrected gestational age at surgery was an independent risk factor for infants not returning to the respiratory baseline within 48 hours ( OR=1.147, 95% CI: 1.009-1.302). Conclusions:Infants with ROP who receive intravitreal injection can return to the respiratory baseline more quickly than those who underwent laser photo-coagulation under. The difference persisted up to 4 days. The smaller the corrected gestational age at treatment, the less likely return to the respiratory baseline within 48 hours in photocoagulation group..

Objective:To explore the clinical characteristics, treatment patterns, and outcomes in newly diagnosed patients with chronic myeloid leukemia in the chronic phase (CML-CP) by age. Methods:Clinical data of consecutive ≥14 years old newly diagnosed CML-CP patients were retrospectively analyzed. Results:This study included 957 patients. Of the patients, 597 (62.4%) were male. The median age was 40 years (range, 14-83 years) . The patients were stratified into three age groups: <40 years ( n=470; 49.1%) , 40-59 years ( n=371; 38.8%) , and ≥60 years ( n=116; 12.1%) . The proportions of the patients who had splenomegaly ( P<0.001) , WBC ≥100 × 10 9/L ( P<0.001) , anemia ( P<0.001) , PLT<450 × 10 9/L ( P=0.022) , more blasts in the blood ( P=0.010) , and clonal chromosome abnormalities in Philadelphia chromosome-positive cells ( P=0.006) at diagnosis significantly decreased with age. However, the proportions of those with comorbidities ( P<0.001) , intermediate or high Sokal risk ( P<0.001) , and receiving imatinib as front-line therapy ( P<0.001) significantly increased with age. No significant differences in gender and the EUTOS Long-Term Survival risks were noted across the three age groups. The multivariate analysis showed that ≥60 years was an adverse predictor for overall survival. However, age was not significantly associated with tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) therapy responses and other outcomes. The incidences of nonhematological toxicity were significantly increased with age during TKI therapy ( P<0.001) . However, those of hematological toxicity was similar across the three age groups. The proportions of the patients maintaining imatinib therapy ( P=0.026) and receiving low-dose TKI therapy ( P<0.001) significantly increased with age at the end of follow-up. Conclusions:Significant differences exist in clinical characteristics, TKI response, overall survival rates, and nonhematological toxicity among newly diagnosed CML-CP patients of different ages.
