To perform the phylogenetic characterization of an isolated porcine rotavirus(PoRV)and investigate its pathogenicity in suckling mice and piglets.A G4P[23]genotype PoRV strain JSJR2023 was successfully isolated from the diarrheic piglet feces through propagation in MA104 cells.The viral proliferation kinetics were analyzed using TCID50 assays,followed by complete genome sequencing through Sanger sequencing platforms.Comprehensive genotyping and phylogenetic reconstruction were conducted using MEGA7.0 with maximum likelihood algorithms.Pathogenicity was assessed in the following animal models:5-day-old C57BL/6 mice and 3-day-old piglets.Multidimensional evaluation included clinical monitoring(diarrhea scoring,growth parameters),virological detection,and histopathological analysis of intestinal tissues.The virus strain JSJR2023 could replicate efficiently in MA104 cells,achieving peak titers of 107.5 TCID50/mL.Whole genome genotype analysis showed that the strain belonged to G4-P[23]-I5-R1-C1-M1-A8-N1-T1-E1-H1.Phylogenetic analysis indicated that the VP3 and NSP4 genes of JSJR2023 strain were most closedrelated to human species rotaviruses,suggesting genetic reassortment between human and porcine RV strains.The animal experiments in suckling mice showed that the JSJR2023 strain infection caused diarrhea symptoms,intestinal edema and congestion,and shedding of intestinal villus epithelial cells.The pathogenicity experiments in piglets showed that compared with the control group,the challenged group of pig-lets had severe diarrhea symptoms,accompanied by reduced appetite and listlessness.Post-mortem examination revealed that the intes-tines were significantly thinner,congested,and filled with yellow watery contents.The challenged piglets showed typical pathological changes such as thinning of the intestinal wall and shortening and shedding of intestinal villi.In conclusion,this study successfully iso-lated a human-porcine recombinant G4P[23]PoRV strain and established the infection models in suckling mice and piglets,providing important tools for investigating the pathogenic mechanism of PoRV,evaluating vaccines and developing antiviral drug.

OBJECTIVE To standardize the English translations of the current Chinese patent medicine （CPM） instructions in order to increase its English translation quality and improve its readability. METHODS In an attempt to standardize its English translation， 64 CPM instructions were collected as samples for translation projects in Trados， using its two core functions of translation memory and terminology， combined with pre-editing （PRE） and post-editing （PE） skills. RESULTS The results showed that translation projects had up to 21.65% perfect match. Based on translation project practice， it is proposed to use the free translation or transcreation plus transliteration method to translate product names of CPM， and apply two human-computer interaction translation modes：“ machine translation （MT）+computer-assisted translation （CAT）+PE” and “PRE+MT+CAT+PE”， which are adopted in the translation of weak literary sections and strong literary sections， respectively. CONCLUSIONS The application of CAT not only improves the translation quality and the translation mode， reduces the translation cost， and maintains the consistency and style of the translation， but also accumulates language assets for future use， providing a novel reference for translating traditional Chinese medicine literature.

Objective:To understand the oral health and frailty status of the elderly in the community in Beijing and analyze the correlation between the two, so as to provide a reference for the frailty management of the elderly in the community.Methods:This study was a cross-sectional study. Using the multi-stage stratified sampling method, a total of 241 community elderly people in 9 communities in Beijing from July to December 2021 were selected as the research objects. They were investigated using the general information questionnaire, Mini-Nutritional Assessment (MNA) and the Fried Frailty Phenotype. Univariate analysis and ordinal logistic regression analysis were used to explore the influencing factors of frailty among the elderly in the community. A total of 260 questionnaires were distributed in this study and 241 valid questionnaires were recovered, with an effective recovery rate of 92.6%.Results:Among the 241 community elders, 115 (47.7%) were not frail, 92 (38.2%) were pre-frail and 34 (14.1%) were frail. Ordinal Logistic regression analysis showed that the number of teeth of 0-9, 10-19, dry mouth and incomplete or unrepaired restoration of missing teeth were risk factors for frailty among the elderly in the community ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:From the perspective of oral health, this study further analyzes the risk factors of frailty in the elderly in the community. Medical institutions and elderly care institutions at all levels can use oral health status as a screening item for the frailty risk of the elderly in the community, providing new ideas for the prevention and intervention of frailty in the community.

Objective: To investigate the influence of miR-520a-3p on paclitaxel (TAX) sensitivity of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)A549/TAX cells via regulating frizzled class receptor 8 (FZD8). Methods: NSCLCA549 cells, TAX-resistant cell lineA549/ TAX and human lung epithelial HLF-α cells were selected. The expression level of miR-520a-3p in A549 and A549/TAX cells was detected by qPCR. According to different transfection plasmids, the experimental cells were divided into control group, miR-520a-3p mimics group, si-FZ8 group and si-FZD8+miR-520a-3p inhibitor group. After being treated with 6 μmol/L paclitaxel, the proliferation ofA549/TAX cells was determined by CCK-8 assay. Flow cytometry withAnnexin V-FLTC/PI staining was used to detect the apoptosis level of A549/TAX cells. The expression of FZD8 in A549/TAX cells was detected by WB. The targeting relationship between miR520a-3p and FZD8 was verified by the dual-luciferase reporter gene system. Results: miR-520a-3p was poorly expressed in TAX-resistant A549/TAX cells (P<0.01), and TAX up-regulated the expression of miR-520a-3p in A549/TAX cells (P<0.01). After the treatment with 6 μmol/L TAX, over-expression of miR-520a-3p significantly inhibited the proliferation of A549/TAX cells and promoted apoptosis (all P<0.01). Dual luciferase reporter gene assay showed that miR-520a-3p targetedly down-regulated the expression of FZD8 (P< 0.01). si-FZD8 could significantly inhibit the proliferation and promote cell apoptosis of A549 / TAX cells, thereby enhancing the TAX sensitivity of cells. At the same time, simultaneous knockdown of miR-520a-3p and FZD8 could reverse the enhancement of FZD8 knockdown on TAX sensitivity of A549/TAX cells (P<0.01). Conclusion: miR-520a-3p enhances the TAX sensitivity of A549/TAX cells by down-regulating the expression of FZD8.

Enterprise and competent department in China start to explore evaluation method and technique,as revaluation of Chinese patent medicine has been paid high attention in recent years.However,many problems of Chinese patent medicine standard itself commonly have been neglected in the revaluation of curative effect.This review comprehensively analyzed problems have to be faced in the revaluation of the curative effect of Chinese patent medicine,such as excessive broad expressions of function and indication,obscure definition of indication,identification between function and indication,correspondence of diseases and syndromes between Chinese and western medicine,feasibility of clinical trials,with the provision of general methods and solutions.

Objective To investigate the risk of falling and nutritional status in elderly surgical patients,and to assess the correlation between them.Methods Patients aged ≥65 in Department of General Surgery of Beijing Hospital between January and June 2015 were enrolled in this study.The Morse Fall Scale was used to evaluate the risk of falling.Anthropometrics,body composition,and Nutritional Risk Screening 2002 (NRS 2002) scores were collected to evaluate the nutritional status of the patients.The correlation between risk of falling and nutritional status was analyzed.Results A total of 383 patients were included,including 314 cases under 80 (65-79 years) and 69 cases ≥ 80.Patients ≥ 80 years showed significantly lower grip [(24.53 ± 8.09)kgvs.(30.57 ±8.48)kg,P＜0.05] and4-meter gait speed [(0.66 ±0.19)m/s vs.(0.84 ± 0.20) m/s,P ＜ 0.05],but significantly increased undemutrition [15.9％ (11/69) vs.7.0％ (22/314),P ＜ 0.05] and nutritional risk [56.5％ (39/69) vs.38.2％ (120/314),P ＜0.05].Altogether 33.9％ of the patients (130/383) were at high risk of falling,and the prevalence was significantly higher in patients ≥80 than in patients ＜ 80 [44.9％ (31/69) vs.31.5％ (99/314),P =0.036].Compared with patients not at high risk of falling,high-risk patients had lower body mass index [(22.33 ± 1.82) kg/m2 vs.(23.76 ± 3.26) kg/m2] and grip [(24.95 ± 8.56) kg vs.(30.72 ± 8.39) kg],but higher prevalence of nutritional risk [46.9％ (61/130) vs.38.7％ (98/253)] (all P＜0.05).Conclusions Eldedy surgical patients have a high risk of falling,which may be related with their nutritional status.Nursing and nutrition intervention should be emphasized in there patients to prevent falling and improve clinical outcome.

Objective To investigate the nutritional status of elderly inpatients with benign orthopedic diseases and to assess its relationship with clinical outcomes.Methods Nutritional Risk Screening 2002 ( NRS 2002) was used to prospectively investigate undernutrition and nutritional risk in elderly patients hospitalized between April 1 and May 31, 2012 in Beijing Hospital for benign orthopedic diseases.Associations between nu-tritional status and clinical outcomes were analyzed.Results A total of 520 patients were included, with a mean age of (75 ±7.09) years.The mean body mass index (BMI) was (23.20 ±3.83) kg/m2, mean dominant-hand grip strength was (16.87 ±19.19) kg, mean mid-upper arm circumference was (25.62 ±3.81) cm, mean calf circumference was (31.92 ±4.02) cm.Compared with patients aged 65-79 years, patients≥80 years showed significantly lower hand grip strength [ (13.58 ±15.92) kg vs.(18.48 ±20.42) kg, P=0.004].All the pa-tients completed NRS 2002, which showed that 9.31%of the patients had undernutrition (BMI≤18.5 kg/m2), and 45.19%had nutritional risk (NRS 2002 score≥3).Compared with patients aged 65-79 years, patients≥80 years had significantly higher incidence of undernutrition (13.97% vs.7.21%, P=0.024) and nutritional risk (52.38%vs.41.76%, P=0.024), higher incidence of infectious complications in patients with nutritional risk (10.21%vs.5.26%, P=0.044), longer hospital stay [ (11.66 ±5.76) days vs.(10.42 ±4.37) days, P=0.016], and higher hospital expense [(20.28 ±1.811) thousand yuan vs.(16.39 ±1.362) thousand yuan, P=0.016].Conclusion Elderly patients hospitalized for benign orthopedic diseases have a high incidence of undernutrition and nutritional risk, which is associated with worse clinical outcomes.
